Negative experience: Absolutely horrible. They are going to tell you they are out of network and you have to pay a $99 exam and x-ray fee. Why? Why the hell do you need an X-ray when I told you the problem was with stitches that came undone in my gums! I specifically asked if they can restitch this area and they said yes. LIES!!! They took my money and the doctor came in the room for about 5 mins. Said she doesn't like to mess with stitches another dentist did. Said my gums were infected. Very rude and dismissive about why I was there. If you know you don't do Periodontal work, then say that instead of encouraging me to come in and take my money!! Went to another dentist up the street and they didn't need X-ray, just took pics of my mouth and a visual exam. He explained why my stitches came loose but said it was NOT infected. Gave me instructions on what to do for self-care, etc. 11/20/25 Update: Since they told me Delta Dental is out of network, I filed a claim with them directly so I could get a partial refund. They sent the check to their office on 10/31/25. Here it is almost a month later and they keep saying they don't have the check. The people at the front desk are extremely unprofessional and hostile for no reason. They are annoyed I keep calling asking about my check. Delta Dental has tried to call them directly and they don't answer.

Fantastic experience: Went tonight after 2 days of extreme tooth pain seeking a tooth extraction. Im currently 32 weeks pregnant and needed OBGYN approval before I could recieve any treatment, and luckily I got the approval. I was in and out in about 1 hour, with an extraction of my problem tooth. The dentist that performed the procedure did so efficiently and ensured no fragments were left behind. The assistant was lovely and bubbly, and overall was a great experience! I really appreciate the lady at the desk helping me with a payment plan as my insurance wasnt accepted, and it allowed me to get this work done.

Fantastic experience: They were so kind, patient, knowledgeable, and efficient. We came in with a broken baby tooth not knowing what to do. They were able to diagnose and pull two baby teeth with an anxious 10 year. We were in and out in 45 mins and that was with the time it took to patiently explain and ease my child’s anxiety. I was so impressed with the staff all around. Highly recommend for your dental emergencies.

Negative experience: Front office staff were nice and helpful. Dental assistant was fine. The dentist herself was RUDE! She walked into the room, didn’t introduce herself asked me to show here where my pain was, proceeded to rip open my mouth and mash and press on the spot that was throbbing, never explained what she was doing or addressed me once and only talked to her dental assistant, told the dental assistant what needed to be done and then left the room. I definitely do not recommend this place even in an emergency. I had a massive infection and they did prescribe me antibiotics but told me to keep taking ibuprofen every 6 hrs which I was already doing and it wasn’t touching the pain. I ended up going to the ER at 3:30am the next morning because the pain was so severe and the swelling in my face had gotten worse. If you can wait, find a regular dentist and make an appointment with them. If not, good luck!

Negative experience: Let me start off by saying the lady at the front desk (Mindi) was SUPER sweet. Very good customer service. The dental assistant was very nice as well (I didn’t catch her name). The dentist that removed my tooth was very unpleasant and rude. I am almost certain it was Dr.Kim after looking at other reviews saying the same thing. After getting my xray done she walked in and said “yea you need this tooth removed” which I KNEW because that’s why I was in there and stated multiple times. It was supposed to be removed sooner but I hadn’t had the chance to get it done. When she walked in, she didn’t introduce herself. She just told me to open my mouth. Before the procedure, I explained to the dental assistant that my body metabolizes medicine really fast as this is not my first rodeo. She said okay and advised the dentist of the same. As the dentist started the procedure, I yelped because I was not completely numb. The dental assistant asked Dr.Kim if she could numb me up more. She responded “no, I already gave her 6 shots” but then about 5 minutes later she numbed me some more She got the tooth out very quickly but she was rough and rude. Her hygiene wasn’t that great either. I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Everything about my emergency dental visit was superb. From the booking process (I booked an appointment for 1 hour later) to the arrival and reception (Mindy is an absolute rockstar) to the diagnostic, x-ray and consultation was amazing. The professionals at Emergency Dental Care went above and beyond to address the severe pain I was experiencing and presented me with all the options to address the issue in a clear manner with full transparency on the cost of each option. I called 18 different dental professionals that day to try and find someone to take me in that day, and Emergency Dental Care was the only one that could get me in. There wasn’t an answering service, leave a message and we will get back to you….there wasn’t real-time, you have a problem, we can help. If there was one thing I would suggest for improvement, it would be to consider accepting all dental insurance. Unfortunately, mine was not accepted, but pricing was more than fair and I will manually submit my claim. A small price to pay for competent, compassionate emergency care when you are hurting. Great job Emergency Dental Care USA! And give Mindy a raise, she deserves it!

Fantastic experience: Came in late night last night with a horribly impacted sand cavity destroyed tooth. They kindly did xray and gave me answers, and I had out of network insurance, so they let me have the opportunity to see what I could do. Ultimately was too painful and I came back - am very glad I did! I have Ehlers Danlos so anesthesia and I are not friends. Everyone from the desk back to Dr Stevens was amazing, kind, and genuine. No one left me feeling guilty for flat out being awful taking care of my teeth. Highly recommend these wonderful folks. In and out easy peasy. Thank y’all so so much!

Fantastic experience: Front desk staff Jessica was very kind to me during my moment of pain, I really thank them for continuing to help me with alternative options although I couldn’t afford the service needed. They gave me the prescriptions needed for my abscess and I am so thankful for that. And I will return when I am able to afford to extract my tooth.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! This office has it down. They got me in same day and on a Saturday. They fixed my tooth I chipped and was able to do an extraction that I had been putting off. My anxiety was high but they walked me through everything. My concerns were their priority. So happy I found them. Also the staff and doctors were friendly and awesome bed side manner. Fantastic experience: Love love love them, now I don't express lightly. Meaning I have very extreme anxiety when it comes to dentist from my past. So I can say this that they were very understanding, consoling and explained every step to me carefully. If you are ever in a pinch on a weekend this IS the place to be. Everyone will take care of you. And you have many options for payment plans if 1 doesn't work for you. Money is very tight for me when you are working with 1 paycheck and a very limited tight income. Negative experience: The front office lady did a wonderful job. Helpful and professional. The dentist assist didn’t Seem too thrilled to have me there. Not only that she pushed this suction tool all the way to the back of my throat during the procedure causing me to gag. Extremely dangerous.. no apologies or anything. Left blood over me.. tooth particles.. definitely will not be returning

Fantastic experience: I was in so much pain, but it was Friday night and places were closed. I couldn't go to my dentist because they are closed on the weekends. So thankful Emergency Dental Care is open on weekends! They got me in quick and resolved the issue. They were so professional and caring!! So thankful for them!!

Negative experience: The front desk ladies are great. The dentist was less than desirable. He was trying to get me to do dental work and his office doesn’t take my insurance. Made rude comments about another dentist. Was rude when I mentioned I didn’t want to have a root canal in his office considering they do not take my insurance. He was awful. His dental assistant was very nice and professional. I would not recommend.

Negative experience: I’m a repeat customer I was her several years ago and it was great . This time everything was great but I noticed I was still in a lot of pain I had to have a molar pulled the crown had fallen and the remainder had to be pulled some how a piece of tooth was left behind and it was getting infected, so I go back I got couple shot to numb me he didn’t even wait for me to min up and went to town on my mouth . Let me tell you I felt it I left In tears not im no where a crybaby I have a high pain tolerance that was yesterday I’m checking out my mouth today and my gums are cut on the sides. And all because he needed to get on his cell. I wasn’t out of the chair he was out side before me on his cell. By no means I’m not Bashing the business but the dentist!

Fantastic experience: We came in from out of town to meet our daughter halfway from college-she was in a lot of pain because of her wisdom tooth…we were diagnosed, x-rayed , given treatment options and prescriptions within 20 minutes. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful and we felt so thankful for everything they did for her. THANK YOU !!!

Positive experience: They got in very quickly same day and there was no wait once I was there. They were not able to help me as it was too complicated so that was a bummer but it’s nice to know they are there in a pinch.

Negative experience: I have been waiting for a refund since February. It’s now August, have reached out numerous times and they just tell me it’s being worked on. Disappointed in that customer service, should not take 7 months for a small refund of 40$.

Negative experience: I have caps and they became loose over the weekend and late at night. I visited this location to have them reglued, which they did. However, the dentist told me they would last until I could get them permanently repaired in another country where I originally had the work done. The caps came out two days later, making their promise impossible. Rather than get the work redone (since it was done poorly to begin with), I went to my trusted dentist on a weekday and had the caps properly glued. When I reached out to the clinic, they were nice but refused even a partial refund. In short, if any promises are made at this location, be sure to get them in writing because even a partial refund was impossible in my experience.

Fantastic experience: Had a crazy toothache and couldn't find anywhere else open at the time, glad we drove out here. They were ready to go but I decided to wait on actual treatment. Found out my issue and got antibiotics though and feel alot better about starting to get it taken care of. : ) My biggest issue with drs as someone with anxiety is interacting with the staff lol... Everyone was very patient and nice here!

Fantastic experience: They took care of my problem and gave me the best customer service I've never had at any medical facility. Made things simple and were helpful at every step and helped turn an emergency in to a pleasant experience.

Negative experience: I believe this place is a scam. I was there for a total of maybe 15 minutes. I paid $100 for their exam and x-ray. The tech who took the xray just tossed the machine in my mouth without paying any attention and she took a really bad image. Immediately, the doctor came in and told me that the x-ray was "too difficult to place" and that there was nothing they could do, before even actually looking at the x-ray. They then both told me I was lying about being to feel pain from the wisdom tooth "because it wasn't descended from the gums yet" and said I needed to go somewhere else. I was rushed out the door rather quickly afterwards. They weren't interested in helping me or giving any medical care, just quick money from anyone sitting in their chair. I will not return and I will be warning people I know about this establishment.

Fantastic experience: So thankful to the dentist who took on extracting my husband's wisdom tooth at this office. They were able to schedule him in the same day and get him taken care of asap. Can't thank them enough.

What a great experience I filled out a form online after my tooth took me for a crazy ride through the week…I was contacted in less than three minutes and had an appointment by 6:30! I went in and they immediately took me back! The receptionist was absolutely sweet from the start to the end! She helped me figure out a plan that fit my budget and helped me that same day! The dental assistant was absolutely amazing and walked me through everything her and the dentist were doing! I was out with two teeth pulled and minimal pain by 7:13! I’m usually deathly terrified of dentist but this experience really helped those fears subside..even with getting two teeth pulled! Thank you all so much for being kind and empathetic throughout the whole process! ❤️

Negative experience: I went here about 2 years ago. After getting my wisdom teeth pulled for 8 months I had vertigo and couldn’t go inside anywhere. I called to let them know what was going on and they brushed it off. I think I paid 650. And I was a patient. 2023 I had a different email. So please dont try to hide the fact that you guys messed up. Horrible place.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing!!! I was in extreme pain and they were able to see me on a Saturday evening and I got a root canal. The woman at the front desk was wonderful! She was empathetic, very knowledgeable, and so kind! The dental hygienist who took my x-rays and assisted the doctor was so sweet, she was patient, and she made me feel at ease. And Dr. Kim was incredible!! He took his time to explain all of my options in a way that I could understand, answered all of my questions, and was non-judgemental and respected my choices!!! If you are ever in an emergency tooth situation, I highly recommend this office : )

Negative experience: My fiancé came here in distress because his tooth was abscessed and was told he could get a root canal. Dr. Kim is literally the worst “dentist” I’ve ever met. She came into the building, walked past our room and set her wallet and keys down, stepped in our room before talking to anyone and asked to look in his mouth. She started the procedure shortly after coming back from putting her belongings away, but every thing she did seemed very shady and unprofessional. Her “assistant” sat in a chair the entire procedure and multiple times she asked HIM questions about the procedure. I myself got a root canal at an actual dental office last week and the entire procedure seemed more hygienic, thought out, I was talked through the steps, they mapped out my broken tooth first to make the permanent crown off of. This office did NONE of that. She got to the point where he needed posts? I honestly don’t know because she didn’t communicate anything and she couldn’t get these pins in his canals. She said about 5 times “I don’t know what’s going wrong??? I just dont know. I don’t know what’s wrong.” Like when a hairdresser gasps as they’re cutting your hair. It was the most unprofessional experience in my life and it ended in a tooth extraction because she was not successful. And now that he’s healed up almost a month later, we see a giant piece of bone sticking out of his jaw that they missed. How does that actually happen??? I’ve had 3 teeth extracted and I’ve never had this experience. While this was an appointment for my fiancé, I myself have had a tooth extracted here before, so I am on file. Do NOT COME HERE. RUN. Go see an actual dentist. Like Dossett in Hurst. They’re open Saturdays and take walk-ins.

Fantastic experience: My visit at Emergency Dental Care was great. From the front desk...to the back staff I felt welcomed (as nervous as I was). Dr. Saffold treated me. His bedside manner was awesome. He and his assistant made sure I was well taken care of and comfortable. If needed, I will definitely go back.

Fantastic experience: Came in for a really bad tooth abscess that required either an extraction or root canal. Dr. Stevens did a terrific job of gently cleaning the tooth and provided enough numbing solution to wear I didn't feel any pain during the procedure. The tech who worked with him was very thorough as well. While the tooth abscess required additional attention the facility broke down the cost and ensured follow ups were included in the fixed price we paid. I was rest assured that my health would be taken care of for each visit. Also, Mindy the receptionist was very helpful and sweet to provide details about the cost breakdown. We hope to use this location as our primary dentist for future cleaning and any dental work needed. I was seen on the same day as my appointment booked online and there was no waiting time for the dentist to come in for our initial evaluation.

Fantastic experience: Took my mother Wendy in for emergency dental service to have a tooth pulled they got us in within 30 minutes. Had the tooth pulled within the hour very professional very kind very sweet. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who ever ask for dental emergencies for dental care here in Fort Worth, Texas

Fantastic experience: Was having a bad tooth ache and couldn't take the pain anymore so I found Emergency Dental Care. Was easy to set up appointment online. I actually showed up early to my appointment and they saw me right away. I needed to have a tooth extracted and they were able to do it in just a few minutes and I was on my way. I would definitely use them again.

Negative experience: Loved loved LOVED the lady at the front. She was VERY professional, explained everything to me and did a better job than Dr. Kim, and I think she needs to swap places with Dr. Kim. I was confused, I thought Dr. Kim was a nurse because she didn’t really know what she was talking about. She said the antibiotics I was currently taking is typically what she prescribes too and just left it at that. Then my sister asked “so what do you do if the amoxicillin doesn’t work” the Dr. Kim said “we can try something stronger” yeah, I would like that. Then she made a comment on the swelling I had and said “wow, I hope that swelling goes away”

Fantastic experience: This place is nothing short of amazing. My mother has MS and is quadriplegic/wheelchair bound. She was experiencing immense tooth pain, and we thought that we were going to have to wait until Monday to get her seen since today is Fourth of July. Thankfully, I found this place on google, and they were open! Everyone in this office was accommodating from the moment we walked in there and the whole process was thorough and quick. We were lucky enough to see Dr. Saffold who was so kind and took care of the problem that my mother was having. We are both so grateful for this office as it is, oddly enough, hard to find quick and proper care when you are disabled. Thank you so much to everyone there. Highly recommend this office & Dr. Saffold!

Fantastic experience: Amazing! I reached out to another dentist office open on Saturday for an emergency wisdom tooth extraction and they didn’t answer so I reached out hours later and waited on hold for 7 minutes and then ended up just leaving a message. I called THIS office and had an appointment an hour later. Got in and out in an hour and a half. Everyone was so kind and dealt with my horrible mood/worthless sense of humor. I already feel better - granted I’m numb and a bit swollen but I am SO THANKFUL for the quickness & professionalism and patience with me. 10/10 would recommend.

Negative experience: I was happy that there was an urgent care for Dental so I went to it right away. But I needed more work than I could afford so I couldn’t do my work, but I was appreciated of the dentist, giving me pain medication and referrals. But I have to tell you that the front desk lady was very rude. I have never seen such awful customer service before. I really hope she is spoken to about her attitude and not helping the patient or the patient’s family. From a simple horse is the bathroom question was too much for her. Very nice and reassured me through every step; which was so beneficial because I have trauma from an accident a few months ago where I had to get my tongue and lip reattached. Negative experience: Great service. Was seen quickly. I rated this because it’s taking major advantage of people in immediate needs. Their prices are much much steeper than a normal dentist who can do it at a fraction of the cost. For a basic tooth removal it was $716.00 for the most basic option. Thats way more than other places.

They were super knowledgeable and walked me through each step of the process of the dental procedure and made sure I was comfortable . Will I recommend this place ? Absolutely!

Fantastic experience: This was the best experience I've had at the dentist. Went in for emergency pain and ended up needing an extraction. I don't have insurance, so I was afraid of being stuck with the pain, but no. They have amazing payment options. I was approved in seconds and the extraction was quick and painless. I also fear needles and the assistant was so patient with me and helped me through it when most just tell me to deal with it. I will be coming here for now on. Thank you for the first positive experience I've ever had at the dentist.

Fantastic experience: This is my second time being seen with this company. The first time which was 2 years ago was was an absolute phenomenonal experience, and the second time which was today did not disappoint either. I had been having horrible pain in my right top jaw where there was an old root canal. Turns out that tooth and the one next to it needed to come out. So out they came, and the dentist made sure I was super numb. Five stars!

Negative experience: I had sudden wisdom tooth pain on my lower left side. Turns out it was infected and it needed to come out. I’ve had my right lower wisdom tooth extracted here last year and it was a great experience, however this time was horrible. To begin with the local injection anesthetic was worse and Dr. Kim didn’t even wait for the anesthesia to kick it before she began the extraction process. I assumed she was checking if everything was numbed up before beginning, but there was obviously a lack of communication as I was overwhelmed with excruciating pain before she stopped and realized the situation. During the procedure she was very rough and I was anxious and uncomfortable the whole time. To make the matter worse, she broke the wisdom tooth. After retrieving what she thought was the second piece she says to the assistant, “Can you see another piece in there. I don’t know I can’t tell there”. The assistant takes one look and confirms there was indeed one piece left. It has now been four days since this procedure, I have my lower lips filled with canker sores as well as inside my mouth. I’ve been struggling to eat because of how painful the sores are. Overall, the front staff and the assistant were very friendly and helpful, but the actual Dentist herself deserves 0 stars. I do not recommend this place. Keep looking.

Fantastic experience: Great service. Front desk staff friendly and very pleasant. Dr Kim explained dental situation allowing me to be in charge of my care. Highly recommend when you primary dentist is closed.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kim, Israel, and Mindy were all awesome. They helped me feel at ease and the atmosphere was calming. Mindy explained the payment options in detail and was very helpful. They’re nice, caring people. I had a fantastic experience and grateful to have found them because I could not have gone another day with my toothache.

Negative experience: I walked out before seeing the "actual" doctor. I went there for an extraction, but the guy that took the X-Rays and examined me could not identify which tooth was the problem. He was NOT a doctor. I did not feel comfortable with the whole setup there. I waited about an hour and never saw a doctor so I walked out and would never go back. I wasted $99 by going there.

Fantastic experience: I have a severe anxiety of dentist offices. My past two dentists have traumatized me. So when my tooth broke I let it just decay and never got it taken care of. The pain became so intense that I couldn’t take it anymore. The hospitality from the woman at the front desk INSTANTLY calmed me. The actual extraction was completely painless! Thank you Dr Kim for saving my sanity and getting this tooth out quickly and painlessly!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful and amazing people that helped us today! The front office lady was very thorough and informative. The dental assistant was extremely patient with us as well. And the dentist herself was efficient and caring. I wish I got their names, but definitely will recommend any friends and family to come here for their dental emergency needs!

Fantastic experience: The staff was above and beyond, fantastic! Friendly environment. After being turned down by several Dentists due to some health problems (which I do understand the risk they would be taking), this place has a Doctor that has dealt with similar health issues in other patients so he was willing to help me. He got the job done quick and easy. Very professional. I forgot to mention, I had a wisdom tooth extraction.

Positive experience: They were able to get me in within a little over an hour for an appointment, only waited 10 minutes in waiting room and doctor Kim came in quickly. Receptionist, nurse, and doctor were all professional and courteous

Fantastic experience: I had severe tooth pain in the morning. They got me in right away. The staff was extremely accommodating and the doctor got me relief within the hour. I needed an extraction and it was welcomed. I couldn't have gone through the weekend with this pain. Two hours later, I'm pain free and filling the prescriptions at my local pharmacy. I'm sorry my tooth got infected but I'm grateful to this practice and staff to get me through this weekend pain free. Thank you very much!!

Fantastic experience: I had the most amazing experience at 8pm on 2/15. This was a Saturday night and I was ready to pass out from pain. I called, they got me in the minute I got there, and I left feeling zero pain! I was scared and they treated me like staff.. I would go here and I chalk this up to my best dental experience I’ve ever had ❤️

Negative experience: Took my fiancé here for an emergency appointment. Charge us $100 dollars for a picture. Because they don’t accept blue cross blue shield. The dentist was incredibly rude and unprofessional. They wanted to charge us $4000 to fix the problem. Will not be coming here again.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I was in a lot of immense pain and discomfort and went to The Emergency Dentist Office and they got me in quickly and were so very helpful and kind. They staff were so nice and friendly and everything was clean and they went over all details very thoroughly so my husband and I were very comfortable and when the surgery took place I felt very comfortable, relaxed, and they made me feel better about the procedure. When it was over I told my daughter “yes I would definitely come again”! And I meant it! Thank you to everyone for making my pain better. You guys really are amazing. Have a great weekend!

Fantastic experience: Very kind staff, helped me not to wig out so much. Also they worked with me on payment plans. The dentist was very thorough and finished my extraction pretty quickly. She also made sure I was completely numbed out.(I require a lot of analgesic) She was great, her name is Sandy Kim!.

Fantastic experience: five stars for service and bedside manner. trans-friendly; dr. kamara and the hygienists were very respectful and kind. my only issue is payment. i had to pay out of pocket for an extremely minor gingivectomy - $1,100, paid BEFORE the procedure. it didn't occur to me to ask for five minutes to think about it or for an itemized bill, and these options were not suggested to me. if you're doing a walk-in, same-day procedure, and/or emergency, ASK BEFORE YOU PAY. while the staff was so excellent that, in this instance, i'm willing to consider it a 300% tip, the procedure is borderline extortionate considering the simplicity of the excision and how little it cost the office. the cost is genuinely my only issue though - if they took my insurance i would absolutely be returning. (be aware that they don't accept delta dental.) very pleased with my service!

Negative experience: It’s convenient and they were able to remove my tooth, however, I would never go to them for anything other than emergency. The dental assistant barely spoke. The dentist was rude and grabbed my head and shoved it down. They don’t give any discharge paperwork either. 3/10

Fantastic experience: They completely saved my teeth I did something stupid and got a permanent grill which I shouldn’t have I should have got pull outs the grill was way to bulky and i couldn’t eat I was panicking seriously frfr. The staff was amazing THE WHOLE STAFF made me feel really comfortable and even worked out a payment plan. Their really skilled because any other dentist probably wouldn’t have cared to much they cared TRUST ME they care at this establishment. Thank you all again

Negative experience: BE AWARE that they can take as long as they want to refund you any amount they owe you. $100 to $1000+. I have contacted them time and time again regarding my refund and have been put at the "top of the list", 10 months later and they still have no updates on when to expect my refund. They only say "call us every day and we will reach out to corporate accounting to let them know you want a refund". So it is my job to call them incessantly, begging for MY money. In office they told me 4 to 6 weeks for a refund. Calling after 6 weeks they said that person was wrong and it would be 6 to 8 months..... Calling again they said it is normally 6 to 8 weeks, then they tried to say they don't like to quote times. AGAIN BE AWARE if you use their service you are at their mercy on when you get YOUR money back. Currently reaching out to Consumer Protections of Texas about this as there are laws in place regarding required refunds. Also banks have a 120 day charge back window which their time frame falls out of. I am going to be contacting the BBB as they have done nothing but spread misinformation and lie about what to expect, then put the expectation on me to be the one reaching out. And they have told me there are 100s of people reaching out for refunds...is it worth you being next? Also if they respond saying they don't see me as a patient I would be more than happy to provide a copy of my billing from them. Also I can post the names of who I have been speaking with in the office if needed. Seems like a trend on these negative reviews.
