Fantastic experience: My first visit of what I hope will be many more. I can't say enough good things about this place and the staff is out of this world, with their professionalism and their kindness. If you are not sure if this is the place to go for you or your family, I urge you to give them a try you won't be sorry. Dr Nikas was great and would highly recommend him super nice guy.

Fantastic experience: The staff was excellent. Had a cracked tooth that needed to come out. Went to a different Dental office and they would not just pull the tooth without having to do extra stuff. Grand Dental said come on in and let’s get rid of the pain and then we can look at the rest. They were more concerned about my well being than about selling more services. Now that the tooth pain is gone I will definitely be going back for all of the rest of my dental needs. Thank You Grand Dental!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Brady was so sweet and patient with me. I was so anxious having a root canal for the first time, and I've always been paranoid about the anesthetic. Fantastic experience: Well for starters my Father in Law Dr. Daniel Brady is my dentist some people may think this review is biased because he is my Father in law, however I can assure you that even though that may be true, the staff at Grand Dental Sycamore are very knowledgeable, respectful and were very welcoming. Dr. Daniel Brady is an amazing physician and person who is always upbeat and walks you through your entire process be it small or large. He takes the time to show you the pictures and X-rays and answer and questions or concerns that you may have before beginning any of the pre planned procedures laid out for you. There is no other dentist that I would rather have working on my teeth than Dr. Brady and the Grand Dental team in Sycamore.

Fantastic experience: I had a gingival cleaning to clean a little bit under my gums as well as the rest of my teeth like a normal cleaning and my hygienist Sydney was amazing. She put a numbing cream on my gums always checked in on my comfort level. She gave me some great tips to avoid a cleaning like this in the future but overall it was a good experience.

Carmen made me feel so comfortable during this appointment! We actually had fun & even laughed a lot. I actually thought I wanted invisalign, but was convinced of getting braces. (I have not regretted this decision.). So, now I have both my upper & lower braces, & I am doing great! A shout out to Yvette! She has seen the inside of my mouth more than my husband! She is Dr Allen's assistant. She is so kind & considerant! She's a sweetheart. The entire staff at Grand Dental are wonderful people! I never felt judged when I told them I haven’t been by a dentist in about 15 yrs and still was treated with the best of care. I had an abscess and needed emergency care and from the moment I called they were there to help.

Fantastic experience: I had broken one of my molars on a Sunday, and Dr. Brady was nice enough to squeeze me in first thing on Monday to check up on me and make sure my situation was alright. He walked me through my treatment plan and explained everything out in vivid detail. Very easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone new in the area looking for great dental work, and extremely knowledgeable Doctors.

I called for an appointment, with little hope as everyone is using end of year benefits! To my surprise they made room for me the very next morning! Everyone was very kind and professional! Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Allen for an orthodontic consult and highly recommend him, especially if you're queer / lgbt+ , have more complex needs, or are looking for an empathetic non-judgmental orthodontist. I went because I am trans and having FMS (facial masculinization surgery) and my surgeon wanted me to consult with an orthodontist. I needed to see how the different options for FMS would impact having braces/Invisalign in the future, how braces/Invisalign might continue to change my jaw after surgery, and based on that, what surgical options would be best. Dr. Allen was really informative, he took the time to go through all of the possible options and answer all of my questions. It was clear that he is well informed on facial surgery, even when it doesn't directly relate to dentistry. He was really friendly and acted like they were all completely normal questions. I was definitely nervous to have an appointment about this and he made it a completely comfortable experience. Additionally, I've had other unrelated orthodontic consults in the past with other providers. Grand dental was the most thorough.

Fantastic experience: The was my first appointment. Stacey the dental hygienist is very gentle and explained everything she did before doing it. The dentist was very informative. I was able to make this appointment pretty quickly and got my next one the day and time I wanted.

Fantastic experience: I always love going to the dentist now. A complete 360 I never liked going until I found grand dental and their staff. Dr.Brady and hygienist Laurel are the absolute best! Wonderful people who make me feel comfortable and I always leave happy. They have literally made a terrible day I was having better. Laurel doesn't just give you a cleaning she cares, and listens if you're needing to vent about your day and tries to help you feel better. We have talked about all sorts of stuff she's funny to how many people can say they laugh and have a good time getting their teeth cleaned. Dr.Brady is always so nice and remembers you, you're not just another patient to them. He knew exactly what I needed and was more than happy to explain it to me in a way I could understand it. Now I can smile in the mirror and love what I see. I have even had CO workers comment on how great my teeth are looking. Even their staff at the desk are great they help you figure things out financially if needed. I have never seen a member of the grand dental team in a bad mood. Hands down 10 out of 10. If you need to find a dentist or aren't happy with the one you have give grand dental a try. If I was a betting person I would bet everyone who goes there will love it. One thing I didn't know about until I just looked at their website they help veterans out as well. My husband is a disabled combat veteran and definitely needs some dental work done so I'm going to check that out with him.

Negative experience: Beware the deep cleaning scams at chain dental offices. The office wanted a 90-year-old to be numbed and sit in a chair for 1.5 hours for a deep cleaning. Went to another dentist, not a chain, deep cleaning was not needed. Insurance doesn't cover deep cleanings.

Positive experience: This was my first visit here. My previous Dentist of 15 years Retired so I am in search of a new Dentist. I worked with Britney at the front desk and gave her my reason for coming and dental history. Britney is very kind and compassionate. She made an appointment for me to have full mouth X-Rays then see Dr Lizzy for an evaluation and treatment plan. I liked her immediately. She is younger and very upbeat and motivated. Sue was my dental assistant that took all the X-Rays. She is also very kind and caring. I also saw a hygentist Pearly I think her name was. She seemed nice too. The environment here is a little different than most dental offices. There is a kids slide in the waiting area and it looks like a children day-care center behind the front desk. I'm assuming this is so you can bring your kids with if you have an appointment so they have something to do while they wait. All this creates a busy environment there but also a distraction which is kind of a good thing rather than sitting there in maybe a quiter office dwelling on what is about to come next for you. My over all experience was very good here. I will be coming back. I need a lot of work done and also need to see the Periodontist Dr Abdullah who floates between offices at Grand Dental so scheduling him is at least a month out.. I may have some of my work done at another dental office as I may be looking at a couple of Implants. I think pricing here is very competative compared to other dentists in the area. I had a good experience here.

Fantastic experience: I had severe anxiety going to a dentist and always had to get a prescription for valium to help relax me when root canals needed to be done. Not anymore since going to Grand Dental I have over come my anxiety. Yesterday I had the tooth removed that caused my anxiety in the first place and Dr. Nickas did the work. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. I will always refer people to him. Its not just Dr. Nickas its everyone, they remember you, they remember your stories, they talk to you like people. Fantastic experience: Hygienist Laura Sall was courteous and professional, performing an excellent prophy without a single instance of discomfort for me. Occasionally she softly hummed a tune while working, which was extraordinarily pleasant, calming and welcome. Dr Daniel Brady was respectful and professional. Dr Brady and Laura Sall did not engage me, or each other, in conversation on personal or social topics; all conversation was about my dental health and the procedures they were performing. This is welcome and much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Escarria was very professional and caring. She kept checking to see if I was okay as she removed a stubborn crown to replace it giving me breaks often. She also explained her theory about what was causing the discomfort I was having in the tooth thus requiring the replacement.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Grand Dental for a long time. When Dr Lang was the dentist. I visited today to get permanent dentures. The place is amazing! The temporary set of teeth have held up. For 5 years now. They are master crafted made with skilled hands of excellence. Dr Nikas made my temporary set and now I’m back. To get the best teacher smile I could ever have. Thank you all for setting a plan in place. This dental group was in and out of network for me in the past. And I am so grateful for them working with me financially through the years. You’ll. Never find a better dental office for any procedure. Then right here at Grand Dental. They treated me and my late husband and our two boys. Two Thumbs Up!!! Thank you!

Positive experience: All of the hygienists here are very knowledgeable, I feel like I leave more informed every time! I’ve had a couple cleanings done here as well as a composite bonding procedure for a chipped tooth. They were very efficient in repairing my chipped tooth. The color match is perfect, you can’t even tell which means a lot to me as it was a front tooth and I was pretty upset. Got me in within a few days and the procedure took less than an hour. The Dr who did it was fantastic with the numbing, I barely felt the injection which is INCREDIBLE work. The only qualm I have is the shape of the tooth is slightly off from my original tooth, but I can’t complain too much as it’s clearly well done. When I first started coming here I hadn’t had a proper dental cleaning in 2 years. I was told my gums were receding and had to get a pretty intense cleaning to fix it. The hygienist who did it was pretty gentle considering they cleaned underneath my gums, and the difference was substantial I could see and feel it within a few days. I had a cleaning a few days ago with somebody different and although she was very very thorough and it was all around great, I feel like she could’ve been a bit less aggressive considering my history of gum sensitivity. There were globs of blood, which was first for me. I wouldn’t have minded some topical numbing agent, she did acknowledge how irritated my gums were during the cleaning and called it “discomfort.” I’d say it was a lot more than discomfort, but what do I know I’m no professional. Overall these people are extremely thorough and I’d say my teeth have significantly improved under their care. Up to you if you’re prepared to handle the downsides of that or not!

Fantastic experience: Great experience all around! I’ve been to several dentists in my lifetime and I can honestly say that this has been the best treatment I’ve ever receiver! Extra shout out to Veronica for being so genuinely caring about my dental health and going the extra mile to get me in for a deep cleaning even when her schedule was booked out! The admin staff is also extremely kind and took extra time to go through all of the treatment plans with me without rushing or getting annoyed with my many questions! Love this location and would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Three visits in and I’m still a fan. Veronica is stellar—a consummate professional who is always informative and kind. With my wife’s and my new insurance provider, unfortunately Grand Dental is no longer in network; we still get cleanings done here anyway! They’re that good.

Fantastic experience: When my dentist of 15 years announced her retirement, I dreaded the search of finding a new one. As a woman in her late 40’s, it’s embarrassing to call a new practice and reveal my severe dental anxiety. But the staff at Grand Dental were very understanding and they made me feel right at home. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Lizzy, and she is nothing short of amazing! Everyone I’ve encountered in that office has wonderful bedside manner and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nickas is one of the most caring professional dentist I have ever met. I had some extensive work done today and was pleased with the hygienist Laura as well as his assistant Alyssa. Dr. Nickas and his entire staff, take the time to explain everything step by step and make sure if you have questions they get answered. I never feel like a dollar sign, or that I am being rushed. Fantastic experience: i had a terrible broken tooth and was in severe pain; they made the process so simple and easy. they offered multiple options to asses the situation and we’re super kind and empathetic with my pain level. I have pretty bad anxiety but with their help they were super accomadating and made the whole appointment go so smooth and stress free. if you have problems with dentists and often have lots of stress regarding medical help i highly recommend this place!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Abdullah is an excellent oral surgeon. He is personable and very laid back. Once he got me numbed up, I never felt a thing! ps, his assistant Nina is super nice!

Fantastic experience: Grand Dental is great. Dr. Elizabeth Escarria is very good with my young daughter. She helped her when she had a dental emergency and they have been extremely helpful every visit. They explain the process and do a fantastic job. Definitely recommend!

Negative experience: I do not recommend Dr. Elizabeth Escarria. When I took my young son in for a tooth extraction: 1. The Nitrous Oxide was not connected properly which led to him feeling significantly more pain and caused the procedure to take longer. This error was corrected about 40 minutes into the procedure. 2. When he asked questions and was seeking to understand the procedure, she expressed that he needed to follow directions and not ask questions. 3. When he was crying in my arms after the procedure, we were rushed out of the room and I was told to cheer for him rather than comfort him in his pain and anxiety.

Fantastic experience: Was beyond pleased that all the staff was so friendly, kind, and considerate. Dr Brady was thorough and respectful of my wishes moving forward. This was greatly appreciated and would highly recommend Grand Dental and Dr. Brady!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jeffrey Nickas is probably one of the best dentists I’ve ever had, whether he is performing a root canal or capping a tooth he thoroughly explains any procedure being done and answers any questions you may have. Outside of the pinch of the numbing needle everything was painless. Great experiences with Dr. Nickas, I highly recommend him if your in need of a dentist.
