Foothills Pediatric Dentistry

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bozard did a wonderful job releasing our daughters lip, cheek, and tongue tie! We’ve had issues feeding and latching with her since she was born, now two months old she is able to latch comfortably immediately post procedure! They were so sweet to our girl and he explained/showed everything to us in great detail! We are so grateful.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Michael is a pleasure to work with. He makes you feel comfortable and ready for the tongue tie revision, taking time to answers any questions you have. This was our second daughter to come to him for revisions. We couldn’t be happier.

Fantastic experience: Everyone greeted me and my 6 year old son with a smile at the reception desk at check-in. The hygienist YoYo is so friendly, patient and helpful with my son . This was his first time and he was a little nervous. The dentist Ms. Holly was very helpful with all my questions and really interacted with my son personally. Great experience all around. Highly recommend. Been coming since my son was 2 years old. Always a great experience

Fantastic experience: I brought my son here to get his tongue and lip tie released. The procedure was fast and efficient, he already is feeding and latching better. The team was awesome and everyone was very nice. Also it’s the nicest dentist I’ve ever been to. The walls are painted like the forest and they have a slide I nthe Waiting area for kids. Very kid friendly and I’d suggest them to anyone who will listen.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful pediatric dentist! My kids look forward to going to the dentist as crazy as that sounds. Cheerful staff, knowledgeable doctors who explain well, fun environment with a slide, games and TVs on the ceiling to distract them while dental work is being done. We always like to see the new artwork when we come. Found out last visit it is staff artwork (great way to break up screen time for staff and bring joy to clients). I would highly recommend this practice to any family with children!

Fantastic experience: My cousin came in for a cleaning and was super nervous since it was her very first one. She had her cleaning done by Haley, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! Haley was so sweet, patient, and knowledgeable, and she did a wonderful job making the whole process comfortable and easy. Foothills Pediatric is a 10/10, and I won’t be going anywhere else. If you’re lucky enough to have Haley take care of you, you’re in the best hands — she’s truly top-notch at what she does!

Fantastic experience: The ENTIRE STAFF MEMBERS are amazing! We have been taking our child there for the past 6 years and every...single....time everyone is professional, courteous, helpful, and happy. I love the fact that my child loves and looks forwards to her visits (including the two times that we had to go in for teeth extractions). That says a whole lot ! Even if you don’t have any insurance, then they are able to set you up on a payment plan so that your child can receive the proper dental care that they deserve.

Negative experience: My children were patients at Foothills for eight years and four years based on their ages. We had an awesome experience with Dr. Holly until our final visit in December 2024. First, my children were seen by another dentist that made their anxiety rise because they were accustomed to always seeing Dr. Holly. My daughter had x-rays performed and the dental hygienist took about seven or eight x-rays because she was not properly trained on how to do so. At the end of the appointment, we were told that my daughter had six cavities and two needed to be filled immediately. Due to her anxiety, I was told they would not complete the procedure unless she was put to sleep, which would cost over $1,000 out of pocket. We chose not to have the cavities filled at that time and never once heard from them to reschedule. Fast forward to June 2025, we chose to take our children to a new dentist. Here they carefully explained every step taken and spent considerably more time with us and our children than Foothills ever did. When they asked Foothills about the x-rays taken in December, Foothills claimed that x-rays were never taken. When the new dentist took x-rays, they told us that there were no cavities that needed to be filled; we just needed to continue flossing. I am thoroughly disappointed in the care received at Foothills and will warn others about this as well. Patient care should always take precedence over money. Dr. Michael would not even consider giving my daughter another chance to have her cavities (that obviously didn't exist) filled without being put to sleep. Children need extra patience and understanding because their anxiety and fear is very real. I am so grateful we found a dentist that understands. Please be sure to seek a second opinion if something doesn't feel right. As parents, we must advocate for our children.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Michael explained the procedure my son is having very well and answered all of my questions. We were seen very quickly with less than a 5 minute wait!

Negative experience: I had two children come for a regular cleaning. The staff and assistance were very kind, and the dentist were very kind. My first child had her teeth polished, but then I had to ask the dental assistant to actually clean my daughter‘s teeth. At first she said she didn’t feel qualified to get too close to the gums. After my request, she did clean my daughter‘s teeth. My second child had her teeth cleaned, and I was told she had two small cavities and would need to get them filled. When I was Made I was told that she would have to have the “ happy gas“. I was told it was office policy and if she didn’t get it, they would not feel her cavities. I have 19 children and we’ve lived all over the United States due to traveling with the military. I’ve always taken my children for their six month check ups this is the first time that I was told my child would have to have the gas. It was always optional before.

Fantastic experience: We have been a part of the Foothills Pediatric family since my kids born. They treat you like family. Keep you informed and have never added cost or unnecessary care. Highly appreciated.

Fantastic experience: My 7 y/o Savannah was seen 5/27/25 for her 6 month follow up visit today for her routine cleaning. Savannah said she enjoyed her visit and that her dental hygienist was very nice and she watched Bluey while getting her teeth cleaned. We’ve been coming to this office since she was 6 months old, this office is always nice and clean with friendly staff! You can tell the staff love their jobs and the Kids!! 10/10 Recommend

Fantastic experience: My son first experience @ the foothills pediatric dentistry was wonderful! The visit was a success and I was nervous of how he was going to react to getting his teeth cleaned. He did awesome Despise the little cry, he let out other than that, Everything was great❤️.everyone was so nice and friendly all smiles! Next visit is November see u then!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has had her braces on for a very long time. She got them off today and needed a good cleaning to get all of the glue and such that comes with braces off. Foothills got us in immediately, and we couldn’t be happier. They did a great job and have boosted her confidence. They are the best!

Fantastic experience: Great Dentists and staff. My 11 year old never complains about going to the dentist for regular checkups every six months. We've brought him here since his first teeth came in, and before he turned 10 years old, he had ALL of his adult teeth in. They have taken great care of him here.

Fantastic experience: Everyone from the front desk to Dr. Erin are so sweet and kind. They explained to my daughter how to brush and floss her braces better and what could happen if she does not. They did not make her feel bad about doing it incorrect, they encouraged her to do better.

My oldest is autistic and has sensory issues(with easy sensory overload) and at his first dentist they didn’t respect that, but here, they do more than respect his boundaries! They have made the dentist experience so much easier for me and him to look forward to, my youngest on the other hand is definitely a handful but they still do amazing with him as well, even with all his energy! We had an amazing experience all around when we just recently went with Virginia and Sydney!

There’s been times when I’ve asked a lot of questions or been apprehensive about things and they’ve always been patient with me in making my decisions and doing procedures when I’m ready. The dentist is always so kind and the kids get the best bag of goodies that they rave about! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Today was our 4th visit at Foothills Pediatric Dentistry as we have been going since my daughter’s first visit at 12 months, and it was the first time she has not screamed the entire time. Everyone with whom we have interacted has been so kind, patient, and encouraging with us! The hygienists and dentists have taken all the time we needed to answer questions and never made us feel like they were trying to rush through anything. They are great at explaining things to my toddler so she can understand what’s happening, and this visit there were no tears or apprehension at all! As a Mom, that’s a win. I would definitely recommend the team at Foothills Pediatric Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: It was our first visit to this dentist office that l was recommended to by a friend. My son who is 5 has been to the dentist before and he’s always had a pleasant demeanor, but the staff go above and beyond to make children comfortable. They even let my son pick what he wanted to watch on TV (put on the ceiling for children to watch as they’re leaned back and getting their teeth clean). That was seriously impressive. As soon as you walk in, it’s very apparent it’s a pediatric dentistry and I appreciate the comfort and welcome they give to kids as soon as they walk in. Can’t wait to come back and I wonder if they take adults too

Fantastic experience: We came here after two failed procedures in Charlotte to see an ENT For my daughter’s tongue tie. Dr. Michael was amazing as well as all of the staff, They took the time to talk to me and answer all of my questions and even show me the proper stretches to do after the procedure was over. I cannot say enough, good things about this office and if I wasn’t an hour away, I would switch to this dentist for my toddler as well! If you have a tongue or lip tied baby, go here!!!

He is fantastic at taking care of all three of them, making them feel comfortable and at ease. One of my kids needed a bracket fixed on their braces, and Dr. Michael handled it quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We love Dr. Michael and all the staff at Foothills! Everyone is always so kind and efficient. I have 3 kids and we are usually in and out within 30-45 minutes. Dr. Michael was truly made to be a pediatric dentist! He knows exactly how to talk to the kids and calm their nerves.

Fantastic experience: Today we were seen as a new patient work in because my daughter had an accident and knocked some teeth loose. From making the appointment over the phone to check out, everyone was so nice! We waited for just a little while when we got there which I expected because we were a work in and new patient, but once we were pulled back, we were in and out! Dr. Erin and her assistant were top of the line!

Fantastic experience: Great staff and facility- my kids have grown up at this dentist and it has meant a lot to have kids that don’t fear dental visits. I attribute that to the kind and gentle ways the staff interacts. Everything is clean and so nice! Highly recommend. Some of my children are special needs and I know how hard that is to find a good dentist for that demographic- I recommend you give them a try!
