Fantastic experience: October 10, 2024 Kudos to Dr. Brian Vaughn, and especially to Dr. Dionysios Tzoumas, who performed a dental implant and crown on my tooth #8! It was a long, arduous process, but you both made me feel comfortable throughout and I could not be more pleased with the result! My bite and mouth feel normal and natural again, the way it was before the problem developed with my front tooth, which was originally due to a childhood injury, root canal and two subsequent crowns until finally the root broke after sixty years. Dr. Vaughn was excellent and thorough in explaining available options for treatment, and Dr. Tzoumas provided expert guidance and treatment throughout the full duration of the procedure. I am able to bite and chew food normally again, pain free, not to mention brushing and flossing without worry! Thank you both, and the very professional staff at Vaughn Family Dentistry for making a frightening and difficult procedure seem easy! I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Tzoumas in the future for any complicated dental procedure. Oh, and the temporary denture (flipper) worked perfectly during the healing and waiting process to receive the final crown! Louis Couture

Fantastic experience: Vaughn Family Dentistry is an excellent operation from the folks at reception, the hygienists, and the dentists. They are very technically proficient, and they have excellent "bedside manner". They will readily explain to you what is going on and what they recommend. They will never over-recommend and always take a conservative approach to any solution. I've used various dentists over many years and these are cream of the crop.

Negative experience: Didn’t feel very welcomed here, and they were extremely booked and wanted me to wait for procedures that needed to be done as soon as possible. Ended up going somewhere else that had availability for my treatments needed in a more reasonable amount of time, and were way more friendlier and gentle with their patients.

Fantastic experience: The most gentle cleaning I have ever had! I had some inflammation that I had been trying to get rid of for a while. Dr. Vaughn assured me that it was mild and would be taken care of. Rowan's cleaning and treatment of this area felt like a massage. There was no sales pitch or rushing.

Negative experience: I had an alarming experience at Vaughn Family Dentistry. I went in for a basic cleaning, and Dr. Zhai told me I had five cavities that urgently needed fillings. That didn’t sit right, so I got a second opinion—turns out, I had none. This isn’t just a simple mistake. It feels like a blatant attempt to upsell unnecessary procedures, which is deeply unethical and unacceptable in any medical setting. I walked in for preventive care and nearly walked out with an expensive, unjustified treatment plan. In my opinion, this practice is misleading patients and putting profit over integrity. I strongly recommend others seek a second opinion before agreeing to anything here.

My Dentist Dr. Bailey of Vaughn Family Dentistry is a incredible asset to this establishment. His gentle nature and his concern for a patient's comfort puts you at ease in the Dentist Chair. With that said, I highly recommend him, especially if your are the anxious type about to get Dental work done. Afterwords, when I went to pay for his services I met Ashley who took care of my billing and she was very courteous as well. I give Vaughn Family Dentistry 5 Stars and would give more if I could!!!

Fantastic experience: My teeth were so bad that going to the dentist gave me extreme anxiety but when I finally got up the nerve to go to Vaughn Dentistry, Dr. Zhai and Dr. Vaughn were able to come up with a plan of action for my teeth with very flexible payment arrangements. Fantastic experience: After losing a filling when my regular dentist was unavailable, I called Vaughn, who was able to see me and fix my tooth the same day. The staff was friendly and professional. I especially appreciated how efficient they were during the procedure. The dentist and dental assistant were both very proficient and in sync. As a result, I am considering a change to this group in the future.

Fantastic experience: I will admit I cannot be the easiest patient for my dentist and her assistant but they always try their very best to help me remain as calm as possible ( which is NOT easy ) and talk me through what they are doing step by step. Fantastic experience: So this weekend I unfortunately broke my tooth! I called family dentistry at 10 , they promptly gave me an appointment for 11! I was greeted by Madison, a dental assistant who was the absolute sweetest! Then Dr Braun entered, just his presence calmed me down, of course I thought the worst! All I can say is, I wish I found this group long ago! I have been a pt of theirs for 10 years and always receive the best care ! They are the absolute best , 5 stars is truly not enough! I thank them one hundred fold for all they do ! I recommend them 100%. Especially for those that are fearful of the dentist!!!!
