The Smile Company, Dental Care, LLC: Reviews
Negative experience: If I could, I’d give them zero stars. Please don’t go here very unprofessional, and they didn’t take my concerns seriously. I went in multiple times for the same issue and was in pain. Instead of properly evaluating the tooth, they kept pushing additional paid services. The real problem was that they didn’t fill my tooth correctly, and instead of admitting that they wanted to do more damage to my tooth. I went to another dentist, who truly evaluated my tooth and they identified it immediately and fixed it right away. That second opinion saved me thousands of dollars, and this situation started because the filling was done improperly in the first place, causing me not to be able to eat on that side of my mouth for over a month. To make matters worst the dentist answered a phone call while filling my tooth.
Positive experience: The Receptionist was friendly and very professional. She recognized my voice as I came into the office and immediately took care of me, because I was a few minutes late for my appt. However, I was seen by Dr.Ashley and the Dental tech. They both were very professional, friendly and good listeners. It was a very pleasant dental experience. Gertie B. Cheatham ( aka Nell)
Negative experience: I went in for my initial appointment and I didn’t even get any cleaning. They did my x-rays and told me to come in for second appointment. I went in to the office on Friday but turns out they weren’t even open on Friday. I called to ask why the office wasn’t open and they said we are always close on Friday even though I was told I have an appointment on Friday. They also charged me in advance for the appointment and then after a few calls they agreed on refunding me for the appointment. Even thought they were quick to dismiss me and send a confirmation email they never refunded my money and haven’t been responding to my emails or calls. Staff is super aggressive with their treatments knowing that i felt uncomfortable with how aggressively he was giving me the care. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!!! And their business and customer service is a SCAM!
We strive to provide clear communication and a positive experience for all patients. After reviewing our records, we are unable to locate any patient, appointment, payment, or refund associated with the name used in this review.
For clarity, our office has been serving the community for over a decade and has never been open on Fridays. Our office hours are accurately and publicly listed on Google, Facebook, and our website, and appointments are only scheduled during those posted hours.
We also note that the statements in this review are inconsistent, referencing both a lack of treatment and overly aggressive care, which does not align with how care is provided in our office.
We welcome verified patients to contact us directly so we can address concerns appropriately. Our goal is always transparency, accuracy, and respectful communication.

Fantastic experience: It’s very welcoming and they treat you like family from what I saw my 1st time going
Fantastic experience: Nice people who will squeeze you in when there's an issue. Like forgetting your appointment date
Negative experience: They told my daughter she had 21 cavities and periodontal disease. I went and got 3 other second options baby the way them people lied to me had me upset thinking my baby needed $3000 in work in her mouth. My daughter only has 2 cavities thank god. So at this point I don’t know what they got going on but always get a second option just because not many people accept your insurance don’t mean thy are right. Medicaid fraud is real. I was so upset thinking they knew what they was talking about. She went in for wisdom tooth removal and it became a whole other service list.
We take feedback seriously and want to clarify a few points. We have no record of a patient by this name in our system, so we cannot verify the experience described. Dental diagnoses are based on clinical exams, X-rays, and risk assessment at the time of evaluation, and it is not uncommon for providers to differ. While patients may seek a second opinion, pursuing three additional “second options” reflects ongoing disagreement with multiple providers, not inappropriate care by any one office. A child having even two cavities is a clinical concern, not a positive outcome, and appropriately warrants discussion of diet, oral hygiene, and preventive care. We categorically reject any implication of fraud; our recommendations are ethical, evidence-based, and never influenced by insurance status.
Fantastic experience: The Smile company is an excellent place to get your dental care. I am and has always been terrified to go to the dentist even for cleaning but the good folks at the Smile company ensure that I am comfortable. They explain everything they are doing and throughly explain their diagnosis and how they can fix it. There is no pressure for anything. I love it there. Been going for years!! I highly recommend.
Negative experience: beware of overcharging, being charged just to have x rays sent, crowns coming off.. I wish I would have asked around before deciding to come here. I first scheduled a consultation and the dentist said I had several cavities plus I needed a crown the out of pocket cost for me were going to be 2000. Then my sister who recently had gone there said this place was the one that fitted her with a temporary crown which came off while she was eating at work and her coworkers had to call an ambulance for her because it got stuck in her throat. After learning this I decided to see a different dentist who requested they ( the smile company) send the x rays as my insurance only covers xrays every year or something like that. I called and asked and they said it would be a 45 dollar fee for them just to send xrays to this new dentist. The new dentist said he had never heard of anything like this happening normally when they request files it is sent immediately without a fee. I tried to argue with them saying I just was not comfortable being there because of what happened to my sister. They refused so I finally decided just to give them the money so I would not have to pay 165 dollars or whatever that cost of getting new x rays. So I payed and the xrays they sent were worthless the dentist said they showed no root and they were too blurry to make out any details. The new dentist being sympathetic to my situation just went ahead and gave me new x rays them for free. Also he said I had one cavity not several he also agreed I needed a crown making my total treatment around 1000. This was very embarrassing for me. When I brought this up to a few coworkers one said she has had the experience of them overcharging as well with her children as well. And recently the permanent crown that they installed on my sister came lose. My advice ask around in person such as at work and get at least one second opinion make sure the everything they say is wrong with your teeth is correct. Of course be prepared to have to pay to have your x rays sent in order to get that second opinion if you go to this dental office.
Fantastic experience: The staff here are very professional & friendly! When I entered I was greeted politely by the front desk CEO Latonya. She was kind, welcoming , and had phenomenal customer service!!!
Negative experience: Never going here again. When I went in I asked for a simple checkup and wanted nothing more and they hit me with every charge they possibly could and performed way more than just the checkup even after I said no. I ended up paying $250 after insurance. Worst dental office ever.
Fantastic experience: Very professional staff! I felt very welcomed and under good care. Will definitely be making this place my home dentist!
Fantastic experience: I liked everybody there. I thought they were very professional and very upfront about costs. A lot of dentist I’ve been to our bait and switch and you get a big bill after they told you it was gonna be one price. These people were not like that at all. Very professional.
Fantastic experience: The new building for The Smile Company is very nice and spacious. Their chair side manners are really good amongst the Dentists, hygienist, and dental assistants. The actual service once you get in the chair is great also. My only drawback is waiting 10-15 extra minutes sitting in the waiting area past my actual appointment time. They did say that they were outsourcing another dentist they work with to do their patients cleanings and that would help with wait time for patients that are getting longer procedures done.
Fantastic experience: From checking in to checking out was a breeze first off the quietness was great especially for someone who gets migraines daily. The first young lady that called me back to my room was so nice, I wish I had gotten her name, we conversed while I waited for the dentist she was patient which I appreciate since I lose energy fast. I'm glad I took a chance with them. I was instantly comfortable with them, so Thank you Smile Company.
Fantastic experience: Excellent service and a beautiful and on point crew... I'll be returning...
Fantastic experience: I love this place and will give it 5 stars for this reason. I take my son and daughter there who likes the atmosphere and I had a deep cleaning that was being done but also a tooth that was bothering me and it would be a while before I could make another visit. Dr. Robinson saw how much pain I was in and made a few adjustments and I was able to get the extraction done the same day. I appreciated that so much that I have been going for 3 yrs now.
Thank you for your amazing 5-star review!
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience today at the smile company. All of the staff were kind and provided me quick and efficient service.
Fantastic experience: I'm delighted I found The Smile Co. to take care of my dental needs. I felt comfortable the minute I walked in the door. Dr. Ashley is a very professional knowledgeable doctor. I felt cared for by her and her staff. Nice welcoming energy from everyone. Thank you all! ☺️
Negative experience: They will not give you an itemized bill of what they did and they won't turn your info to insurance so they can charge you the full amount
We take transparency and accuracy in billing very seriously, so we’d like to clarify how our billing process works for anyone reading this review.
Our office has outsourced insurance billing and claims management to Dental Claim Support, a nationally recognized dental billing company that we have worked with successfully for many years. This ensures claims are submitted accurately, itemized properly, and followed through according to each insurance carrier’s requirements.
It is important for patients to understand that:
-Insurance claims are submitted electronically and itemized using standardized ADA dental procedure codes.
-Insurance companies send an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) directly to the patient after processing a claim. The EOB clearly details:
-What services were performed
-What was billed
-What insurance paid
-What portion, if any, is the patient’s responsibility
Dental offices do not control whether an insurance company pays a claim, how much they pay, or when the EOB is delivered — those decisions are made solely by the insurer.
Regarding balances: when an insurance claim is processed and a patient portion remains unpaid despite multiple billing statements and attempts to resolve the balance, accounts may be referred to a third-party collections service. This is a standard and compliant practice used by healthcare offices nationwide.
Due to HIPAA privacy laws, we cannot discuss individual account details publicly. However, we stand by our documentation, billing procedures, and long-standing commitment to ethical and transparent patient care.
We encourage any patient with billing questions to contact our office or their insurance carrier directly so concerns can be addressed appropriately and privately.
Fantastic experience: The best dentist I’ve ever had in my entire life! Enough said
Thank you for your amazing 5-star review!
Fantastic experience: My children have been going here since the end of 2023 and we absolutely love it. My son is 3 and he looks forward to going to the dentist. After our visit today he asked the hygienist for a hug and thanked her. (June 2025) Today's visit was just as any other my son had his 6 month cleaning. Staff is always warm and inviting. My now 4 year still looks forward to going to the dentist and they still treat us with the utmost care and respect. We were in and out. I truly love it here.
Thank you for your awesome 5-star review!
Fantastic experience: I wish I could give 10 stars but I can’t. I was at my wits end with gum disease caused by rheumatoid arthritis, cracked teeth, etc. I needed a lot of help. After a great consultation with my dentist, I was happy with the course of treatment. I can’t recommend the smile company enough. Everyone is so smart and kind and willing to answer all questions.
Thank you Charlie for your amazing 5-star review!
Fantastic experience: I did not appreciate being sent away with death in my mouth but gossip rules the world for some more so than professionalism. I pray for you all and have a good one!❤️
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that any part of your visit felt discouraging, as our goal is always to provide care in a respectful and professional environment.
Because patient privacy is important to us, we’re unable to discuss individual experiences publicly. If you’d like to share more about your expectations or concerns, we welcome you to contact our office directly so we can better understand and address them appropriately.
We appreciate your review and wish you the best.
Fantastic experience: The services were great and each step was explained in detail. The Dentists and staff were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Top notch service.
Fantastic experience: Very nice very clean..I enjoyed myself..great staffing..
Fantastic experience: Dr. Robinson and her team took great care of me and the facility is spotless! Highly recommend!
Positive experience: Today I went to the dentist! I know, big woop; I'm an adult and should go twice a year at least, but that has not been my story for the last coiple of years. Long story, not the point; FOCUS! *smiles* The last time I visited the dentist, it was this office at their old location. I LOVED that office and atmosphere they created, so imagine my disappointment and broken heartedness when I tried to return for services and they had moved!!! EEK! I absolutely REFUSED to go anywhere else and had resigned to just letting my teeth fall out if need be if I couldn't go back to their office (I'm SO serious). So today, I did a thing; I was able to return to this business...in their new location!!! Atmosphere *chef's kiss* Personnel *chef's kiss* Pleasant attitudes *chef's kiss* Timeliness *UNMATCHED* I do have a minor complaint: the attention to the bottom lip should be considered when doing x-rays and trying to reach those hard to reach teeth in the very back at the top. I had to get some fillings and while this was being performed, I could feel the inside of my lip being pinched. Think minor paper cut on the very inner edge of your lip. It was quite uncomfortable, however, pretty minor trade-off. Aside of that, I'm super excited to have The Smile Company as my dental provider again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to you for your dental needs!
Negative experience: I had a insurance plan and only did the treatments that were 100 percent covered underneath my insurance. Now a year later they sent a bill to collections. When they already sent the bill to my insurance and it was paid. Be careful with all these positive reviews. Also to say they are scammers because I had to call multiple times to even get the information for the billing because any time you call you can never talk to them. They also billed it to my insurance incorrectly and because of not wanting to fix THEIR MISTAKE they are trying to stone wall me to make sure they don't have to do anything. To add since they decided to respond with lies. They never filed the bill with my insurance I have actual proof not only through my dental insurance and dentaquest but also they themselves said so. they doctored the paperwork to pretend they did so when there was no record of them. I had other dental work done elsewhere and it was on file with the billing third party company. So no it is not me misunderstanding it's them trying to push the blame onto the client instead of looking within their administration.
We’re sorry to read this review, as it does not accurately reflect how our office or billing process operates. Out of respect for privacy laws, we can’t discuss individual account details publicly, but we can provide some clarification.
Our office partners with a licensed third-party dental billing company that specializes in dental insurance processing and account management. All claims are submitted according to each patient’s insurance plan, and payments are applied exactly as insurance carriers process them. If an insurance company covers only a portion of a service or later adjusts a payment, the remaining balance becomes the patient’s responsibility — this is standard practice in all dental offices.
Before any account is ever referred to collections, multiple contact attempts and written notices are sent to ensure patients have every opportunity to resolve their balance directly with our team.
We understand that billing and insurance processes can sometimes be confusing, but choosing not to pay for completed and documented services does not indicate that an error occurred. Our records and communications are carefully reviewed before any action is taken.
Our commitment remains to provide transparent, ethical, and high-quality care to every patient we serve.

Fantastic experience: As Nathaniel’s Caregiver (he has Dementia), he seemed to have done fine with whatever was done to him. He has no complaints and no pain apparently. Thank you for your gentleness and patience with him.
Thank you for your 5-star review!
Fantastic experience: Very helpful and nice dentists and Dr. Ashley was very kind herself and patient with me. Great staff
Thank you for your 5-star review!
Fantastic experience: Very friendly service. Great work. Thank you
Thank you for your 5-star review!
Fantastic experience: The staff was great ... My first visit they did a THOROUGH exam ... We made a plan of action ... and they had me back in the office that afternoon starting my dental repairs ... Wonderful people ... I recommend making an appt. with The Smile Company if your in need of any dental work ...
Thank you for your 5-star review!
Negative experience: I was looking for a new dentist and really wanted to support a Black-owned business, especially in today’s climate. After doing some research, I came across The Smile Company and was excited to see it was run by a Black husband-and-wife team. I honestly thought I hit the jackpot — great reviews, representation, and a local business I could support. Unfortunately, my first experience didn’t go as I hoped. On the day of my appointment, I got stuck in traffic and called ahead to let them know I’d be running late. The person who answered told me to be careful and that they would still see me when I arrived. My appointment was at 5:00 p.m., and I arrived at 5:24 p.m. — only to be told my appointment had been canceled. As a first-time patient, that was really disappointing. I understand policies are policies, but I would have appreciated clearer communication or a little grace, especially after calling ahead. I truly wanted to support this business, but my first impression left me feeling let down. I will never return to support this business again.
We’re disappointed to see a negative review written under these circumstances. Without sharing any private details (in compliance with HIPAA), it’s important to note how unreasonable it is to post a critical review after arriving nearly 30 minutes late to an appointment — especially a first one.
Our evening appointments are among the most valuable times we offer because many of our patients cannot leave work during the day. When someone arrives excessively late, that reserved time is lost, and another patient who truly needed care misses the opportunity to be seen. It’s unfortunate that this reviewer chose to express frustration online instead of recognizing the impact their lateness had on other patients and our team.
Our policies are designed to ensure fairness and respect for everyone’s time — patients and staff alike. Holding to those standards isn’t a lack of compassion; it’s professionalism.
We take pride in serving our community with integrity, empathy, and respect. While we understand we may not be the right fit for everyone, leaving a negative review after missing nearly an entire appointment time is simply not a fair reflection of our office or our values. We wish you the best in finding a dental home that aligns with your expectations.

Negative experience: They gave me a referral for a dentist to fill my kids cavities and when I called the referral the number didn’t work and when I called the smile company to get a different referral they never returned my phone calls .. I went unanswered. They don’t care about their patients and they do not return phone calls. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!!!
We’re sorry to hear about your frustration, though this review doesn’t accurately reflect how our office operates. Out of respect for privacy laws, we can’t discuss any individual details, but we do want to clarify a few things.
Our referral list is updated regularly, and all specialist offices we refer patients to are verified and active at the time the referral is given. If a number ever changes, it’s usually because the referred office updated their contact information — or, as sometimes happens, the wrong number was simply dialed. Every one of our referral partners can also be easily found with a quick Google search.
Although we are not perfect, our team works hard to respond to all inquiries and help patients get the care they need in a timely and respectful manner.
We understand that no office is the right fit for everyone, and we wish you well in finding a dental home that meets your expectations.

Negative experience: Really wanted to like them and support a nearby minority-owned business. And the people were really nice, but the billing department refused to bill my secondary insurance, kept messing up multiple things with billing, kept contacting me for years afterwards, and then randomly issued me a refund. After issuing said refund, they then started contacting me again requesting payment. They gave me a temporary crown that didn't stick, and the permanent crown had to be replaced just three years later by my new dentist.
Fantastic experience: Very friendly and professional. My time spent there was extremely pleasant. Definitely plan on going back in the future!
Thank you for your 5-star review!
Negative experience: SCAM!!! Don’t go here, I’ll explain, my 5 month old pregnant wife went for a check up, they told her she had 13 cavities which was a complete fabrication & lie, thankfully she missed her appointment, when we called to reschedule they told her she can no longer schedule appointments anymore and only do walk ins. That was a blessing in disguise, god was protecting her from these money hungry fake scammers. Thank god we’ve found a real dentist office, she then went on and did another check up at the new dentist and they told her she only had 4 cavities. Secondly I’d like to add by saying this isn’t the only case look at the reviews there’s a few people that’s had the same experience. I’d like to finish with this last point, don’t be fooled with the reviews they have, if you go on there Facebook page you will see that they actually almost bribe people to give them 5 star reviews, example, they tell patients if you give us a 5 star review, you can win a free tv or etc… I hope this shed light and exposed these money hungry fake dentist office, I am honestly surprised they are still in business.
While we respect everyone’s right to share their opinion, this review includes several inaccurate and misleading statements. Out of respect for privacy laws, we cannot discuss individual treatment details, but we can clarify a few important points.
Our office utilizes state-of-the-art digital X-rays with integrated AI technology to identify cavities and areas of concern that may not be visible during a standard exam. This advanced technology enhances diagnostic accuracy and allows us to help patients maintain their best possible oral health.
Whether a patient has one cavity or thirteen, our responsibility is to communicate our findings honestly and clearly explain available treatment options. Leaving a negative review simply because one disagrees with a professional diagnosis is unreasonable. If there is ever uncertainty, the appropriate and responsible step is to seek a second opinion—not to make unfounded accusations.
Regarding the claim about “bribing” patients for reviews, that is entirely false. Like many small businesses, we occasionally hold community giveaways as a way to thank our patients for their continued support. Participation is completely voluntary.
We take great pride in our honesty, professionalism, and commitment to delivering advanced, compassionate dental care. While our office may not be the right fit for everyone, we sincerely wish you the best in finding a dental home that meets your needs.

Fantastic experience: A loving and current dental appreciate. You guys and looking forward to being my dentist at the smile company
Fantastic experience: Everyone is always so pleasant. And the Dentist explained what's going so well and easy to understand. I just Love the Smile Company
Negative experience: While the staff and dentist were very pleasant people, their business is a SCAM!! They are not ADA accredited and their whole business model is based on bait and switch. I prepaid for a cleaning and then was told they wouldn't do it because I had" gum disease." When I disagreed with that the office manager lied to my face and told me that the numbers on my gum check were not what I literally heard the dental hygienist calling out as she checked. They insisted they would only clean my teeth with a special deep cleaning that was significantly more expensive. And when I asked for my records of the visit to be sent, they were going to charge me another $45. For sending an email! Do not recommend!! In fact, stay as far away as you possibly can!
Fantastic experience: BLACK OWNED! CLEAN UP TO DATE FACILITY! RESPECTFUL KIND DETAILED STAFF!!! 100/10! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Fantastic experience: I had my first visit with The Smile Company today. The staff was very professional and kind. I am deaf and they were very accommodating to my disability. The assistant that worked with me was so knowledgeable and helped me to understand the issues with my teeth. The doctor was a pleasure to talk to. Both of the ladies were very good at explaining what needs to be done to correct my issues. They asked me if I had any questions and I did. My questions were professionally answered. The place is beautiful and clean. I would highly recommend The Smile Company and looking forward to coming back and correct my problems.
Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience from the beginning to the end. My hygienist, Simone was gentle, knowledgeable, and she informed me Every step of the way. My doctor was very gentle, and knowledgeable. He made me feel very comfortable.
Negative experience: To this day, i'm still trying to figure out how this money hungry scamming company has 4 stars . Somebody lying! PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU THINK YOU U TRYING TO SUPPORT A BLACK OWN BUSINESS BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A GOOD REPRESENTATION OF ONE! And the 4 stars is a whole lie. They don’t deserve one star i originally did a nice review around Christmas for raffle… i simply removed it because i was not happy with the way this company handles business. I decided not to even give a review but at this point the don pissed me off!! please beware! 1. they make you pay a certain amount before you even know what your insurance offers you! You can’t even make an appointment without being “paid in full!” After they finally discover that your insurance don’t cover certain things, they will randomly start sending large bills that they are saying you owe! 2. i went for a crown… paid my money… i was sent home with a temp crown. I had to wear the temp for and extended period of time cause out the blue they send me a 600$ bill saying my insurance didn’t cover it. I mean shouldn’t they know what the insurance will cover before they make you pay! How unprofessional!!!! 3. someone scheduled me to get my permanent crown so my apt was set! a day later someone sent a message saying that i didnt confirm my apt and if i dont my apt will be compromised and they will put other people before me… the stupidest most unprofessional message a dentist office could ever send… the day of my apt i called to make sure my apt was in good standing and i was told that it wasn’t and that’s when they presented me with that bill! i went almost two months with a temp crown in. 4. once i paid the balance the dentist put the crown in, and walked out like a weirdo… didn’t say he was done, have a good day! nothing! less than a week later i contacted them to let them know that with the permanent crown my tooth felt real sensitive the way it did before i got the crown… and they prescribed me tooth paste! the laziest thing he could have done! something is not right about the crown at all and even tho i paid all that money i’m scared to go there cause this just ain’t right. Decided i’ll take a lost and go get it fixed else where! just when i thought i was done with this place i receice a message saying i have a 251$ balance!!! how!!!! A HORRIBLE experience at this place.. sorry, NOT SORRY! I AM BACK TO FOLLOW UP ON THIS REVIEW, ITS ALOT BUT IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THIS PLACE PLZ READ! I decided To remove myself from this place. I went To a REAL DENTAL OFFICE, Creve coeur dentistry. They were getting me prepared for braces. The dentist took several X-rays and told me the ONLY thing i needed Fixed before i get Braces is my CROWN! I knew it I spent All that money on a crown just for another dentist to point out that there is a whole gap in the crown and that it has to be removed and replaced! What’s even worse, I can’t report these people the bbb because they are not bbb accredited. Dental work is not CHEAP. Protect yourself, do not trust this place, it’s literally a play ground
Negative experience: Pay close attention to the NEGATIVE reviews before working with this place. After acting really nice and friendly on the phone and getting set up as a new patient, they sent me an email firing me from care because I asked them to let me know upfront of any costs my in-network insurance might not cover. This is a reasonable request that all my other dentists I've had were ok with. I was very shocked. I spent a lot of time on new patient paperwork and sending over medical records. I called and asked what was going on and they said they didn't want me as a patient because my standards are too high. I called my old dental office and told them what happened and they asked who it was and said I really dodged a bullet here. They said they are well known in the dental field for having terrible service and a bad reputation and told me to stay away from them. So I wanted to share this so others can avoid this office.
Hi Jason—thank you for sharing your perspective. We’re sorry we weren’t the right fit. Our practice has a specific approach to care and communication, and we understand that not every office will be right for every patient. If you already have a dentist you trust and feel comfortable with, we genuinely encourage you to continue your care with them. We wish you the very best in your dental health.
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. they were thorough and my experience was pleasant. i would recommend this dentist.
Fantastic experience: The staff was very friendly and kind. The front desk manager Latonya was very reassuring since I was pretty nervous. My hygienist Rileigh was super nice and explained what procedures I needed to take care of my teeth. I didn't see Dr. Robinson for very long at this initial appointment but he seemed extremely knowledgeable. Scheduling was easy; they were able to see me very quickly. Office was very clean and spacious.
Fantastic experience: Love my new dentist, the staff & the entire team are so caring and professional. I normally hate the dentist and I'm looking to going back.
Negative experience: I REALLY, REALLY wanted to have a positive experience with this company. So much so that after my first visit I had a strong desire to send a token of appreciation to the office but my gut said have a couple additional visits to make certain that the first impression was a GENUINE and not just ‘new patient’ treatment. Well, after three visits for my son and myself, I believe the reviews. Again, I REALLY wanted to like this company. It’s convenient to my home, they were able to get my son and I seen in a couple weeks and the staff had pleasant demeanors. First issue…I never had a consultation with either dentist. Only speedy, chairside ‘brush-over’ discussions with the hygienist AS I’m being prepped, AS the procedure was about to take place, AS they were requesting your signature on documents. NEVER a consultation, reviewing scans of my teeth to discuss my options for treatment. After three visits, I requested a phone consultation with either dentist. Needless to say, it’s been a week and 3 days and I still have not received a call. Also, the office staff are very astute at consistently suggesting Care Credit as an option for procedures that are not covered by insurance. At my first visit, they said that I needed deep cleaning and that it would take place over two (2) visits and I’d be sent home with an apparatus to use at home. I didn’t want to take the Care Credit for the procedure and they said they’d see if insurance would cover the deep cleaning. Insurance did cover the procedure but I was never given the apparatus. When I inquired later about the initial conversation, the office manager told me that insurance only covers the cleaning, not the apparatus. I will follow up with my insurance to see if this is the case. Last issue…my 19 yr old goes to an appointment at 3p on a Wed for fillings and they make him an appointment for the next day at 11a. When he returns home at 4p he tells me about the dental appointment and I immediately remind him that we have a car appointment for the next morning at 9a. I call the office to reschedule but they close at 4p. I call the next morning at 9a and the office manager calls me back to tell me they have a 48 hr window for cancellations. I explain to her that they’d just made the appointment less than 24 hrs before. She then says that once an appointment is canceled, he can no longer schedule appointments, he has to become a ‘walk-in’ patient. I could not believe this and I’m still in awe that this is even a policy that a practice would operate by. Believe the reviews…this dental practice gets one (1) star for patient consultation and communication. In my conversation with the office manager, she did note that they have signed treatment plans on file. These are the documents that they request your signature on AS you are about to have your procedure. Patient communication and consultation does not equal a signature on a document. And that policy of canceling an appointment and immediately becoming a ‘walk-in’ patient is HORRIBLE!!! If communication and consultation with the dentist is not a big issue for you, I have to be honest and say that chair-side manner is pretty good and the atmosphere is inviting.
Fantastic experience: The staff are extremely helpful, answered all of my questions and even assisted on affordable options! I am thankful to have visited and be treated by them! Looking forward to my new smile!
Fantastic experience: They were very kind and professional, and went out their way to make me feel as comfortable and accepted like I was part of the family. What even made it more special I was running late, stuck in traffic and they steal took care of me. They are the greatest.
Fantastic experience: Review: Today was my kids’ first visit to Smile, Dentist & Associates, and it couldn’t have gone better! The staff was so professional, kind, and patient, making my children feel completely at ease. One of the sweetest moments was seeing my youngest beam with pride after her cleaning, thanks to the gentle encouragement from the hygienist. We’re so happy to have found a dentist who truly cares!
Negative experience: Avoid this place. I paid $99 cash for a basic teeth cleaning, but they didn’t clean my teeth. Instead, they claimed I needed a $4,000 gum treatment. I’m a healthy 27-year-old who brushes three times a day, and another dentist confirmed that the gum treatment wasn’t necessary. After doing nothing but a quick review of my teeth, they sent me an unexpected bill for $180 (with the card fee) I paid it because I was worried they’d send it to collections. This place is all about money — pushing unnecessary treatments, overcharging, and potentially scamming your insurance. Don’t go here.
Thank you for sharing your concerns. We're sorry you felt dissatisfied with your visit and appreciate the opportunity to address your points:
New Patient Special
Our $99 special includes a comprehensive exam, full‑mouth x‑rays, and a routine cleaning—only if clinically appropriate. In cases where periodontal (gum) disease is identified, performing a standard cleaning would be against clinical guidelines and could be harmful. Our recommendations are always based solely on diagnostic findings and aimed at your oral health.
Periodontal Disease Information
Periodontal disease is prevalent—affecting nearly 47% of U.S. adults over age 30, as reported by the CDC. You can develop gum disease even if you’re brushing multiple times a day. Left untreated, it can lead to tooth loss and has been linked to systemic health issues like heart disease, diabetes, and chronic inflammation.
Billing Transparency
We are committed to clear communication: any charges beyond the promotional rate are explained during your appointment. We do not send bills to collections without first attempting patient contact and offering resolution. You were never surprised—your consent was obtained before any services were rendered.
Financial Support Option
We care about your financial wellbeing. For patients facing financial hardship, we recommend:

They offer dental care on a sliding-fee scale, making treatment affordable for those in need.
Commitment to Ethical Care
We respect your right to seek a second opinion and are happy to provide your dental records. However, we firmly disagree with the implication that we push unnecessary treatment or overcharge. Our practice is rooted in honest, evidence-based care delivered with compassion and integrity.

Negative experience: They’re terrible and kinda sus they if you set an appointment for your child they don’t let you go back with them that’s the first time I’ve ever been told that’s very weird and they have poor customer service
Negative experience: Hate to do this, because everyone I met when I went here was friendly and welcoming. I have always had good dental hygiene, I've had one cavity in my entire life, I made this appointment for a regular cleaning because I hadn't been to the dentist in a while, I was having no pain or issues with my teeth. To my shock, I was told by the staff at the smile company that I had 14 cavities, periodontal disease, and I needed a special deep cleaning because the regular one would not be sufficient. I let them fill four of my cavities before I ended up reading some reviews that made me pause. I decided to cancel my future filling appointments and get a second opinion. At the other dental office, I was informed I have no cavities, and no periodontal disease, and a regular deep clean is perfectly fine for my teeth. I'm really disappointed and feel taken advantage of, and like my time was wasted. I'm just glad I didn't let them fill 14 of my perfectly healthy teeth. If it feels suspicious, it probably is, and you should probably get a second opinion.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad you found our staff friendly—courtesy and respect are fundamental to how we care for every patient. However, it’s important for anyone reading this to understand how dental diagnoses are actually made and what real science says about dental disease—which directly contradicts the implication that cavities and periodontal disease are so rare that they wouldn’t exist if a patient “feels fine.” In our office, diagnoses aren’t a random guess. They are based on direct clinical visualization, comprehensive periodontal probing, diagnostic X-rays, and advanced AI-assisted analysis using Overjet® AI software, which is specifically designed to enhance accuracy by objectively identifying decay and bone loss patterns that even experienced clinicians can miss without this technology.
Your review suggests that because you “had no pain,” and another dentist didn’t find cavities, it must mean you had none. That’s a misunderstanding of both clinical reality and national oral health data:
According to the CDC and National Health Interview data, dental decay is extremely common—with over 90% of U.S. adults having experienced dental caries at some point in permanent teeth.
The CDC also reports that a substantial portion of adults have untreated cavities, even without symptoms. What this means is simple: cavities and gum disease are far more common than rare, and they often do not cause pain until they are advanced. Feeling “perfectly fine” and having normal brushing habits do not exclude the presence of disease—just as national statistics show that nearly everyone will have caries experience in their lifetime.
It’s always reasonable to seek a second opinion in healthcare. But painting professional dental diagnoses as somehow deceptive because they do not align with your expectations is misleading to other readers.
Again, we cannot discuss any individual’s clinical findings due to HIPAA. But we stand by our diagnostic standards, our use of objective technology like Overjet AI, and our commitment to doing what is clinically appropriate based on established criteria and national health science.

Negative experience: This doesn’t look like a legitimate office to me. They are asking to send face pictures before appointment and pay money before appointment.. better to find another dental service
Negative experience: Super unprofessional, they keep sending me a bill, for services I did not receive and I keep calling and they take my number down, but no one will call me back, yet I can never speak to anyone…they stopped doing business with Anthem so I had to find another provider so I guess they big mad that I won’t use their service out of pocket so they start billing me for services I never received and cancelled in plenty of time, but refuse to let me speak to someone about the bill….they want to bully people into using their service, I have anthem they don’t work with anthem anymore so I cancelled my future appts and now they are mad and want to bill people for that
Negative experience: I came in for a check up front desk csa was friendly but the assistant that walked me back to take X-rays informed me that I was only allowed to get one tooth checked for removal and warned me that I needed to schedule another visit to get the rest of my teeth looked at and that it might cost a couple hundred dollars I said thats fine but she kept insisting I worry about the cost and got mad cause I didn't care cause I was in pain she then threw the X-ray apron on me and lowered the chair aggressively without letting me know she was doing it if your that upset I dont want your hands in my mouth. Maybe it was my appearance but you dont treat people like that smh I now have to wait for my insurance provider to find another oral surgeon they could have told us that information when we booked my appointment! Not the day of the visit then get mad when we are shocked by the new information on top of all that manager calls me back after I asked them to delete my information while I'm otp with my provider I call back and suddenly the staff is busy the place was empty when I got there and when I left.
Fantastic experience: Simone is one of the best Dental Hygienists I have had in over 60 plus years! I felt little to no pain though I require deep cleaning due to the damage to my gums for over brushing, extremely hard & using hard brushes throughout the years. She is very pleasant, professional & prompt! The Smile Company has a rare gem on their team! A brand new office that uses state of the art technology with & a very warm & welcoming environment. If you’re looking for a great Dentist, I highly recommend them & if you’re fortunate enough to get Simone that’s an added bonus! Keep up the good work!
Fantastic experience: They did an absolutely amazing job cleaning my teeth. After removing my gold teeth I will gen realized I had more gaps than I assumed. Working on getting some BRACES.NOW. THANKS TO THE DENTIST FOR ALL THAT YOU DO.
Fantastic experience: Both and my spouse went here and they did a really good assessment on both of us. I recommend going here and getting yourself checked out take care of your teeth people.
Fantastic experience: The Smile Company is fantastic! From the moment I enter the building until I leave the support staff and both Dr. Ashley & Dr. Keith are top notch. Five star service. I have a lot of choices closer to me but I drive 25 miles and choose The Smile Co.
Fantastic experience: My first visit to The Smile Company was amazing. Latonya the office manager was so welcoming and my initial contact for an emergency appointment with her was met with care and concern. Riley was my dental hygienist and she answered all my questions. She was very knowledgeable and patient.
Negative experience: I hate to leave such a poor review for a Black owned company, but bad is bad and my visit was horrible. I was told that I had several dental issues that needed fixing and was met with no compassion nor an explanation of the procedures needed, I was simply handed an estimated bill for how much the the fixing would cost. Please read that again, I was handed a bill for estimated dental procedures costs and the procedures were NEVER explained to me. I was embarrassed by the female doctor’s rude and lack of empathetic delivery. It would have been nice to hear, “I know this must feel very overwhelming and maybe even a little embarrassing, but we’re here to help you through your healthy teeth recovery.” Nope, she was gearing up to leave after handing me the bill and I had to prompt her for dental advice! I had to ASK HER what products I should be using, how often I should be doing things, what could be the causes for what she found. There is no reason the patient should have to prompt the dentist for dental advice! That is quite literally her job. Would not recommend this place for these very reasons and as they give gift cards and other prizes to people who leave 5/5 reviews. Don’t trust places that have to bribe to pass a vibe check.
Negative experience: I can't complain about the actual dental care, it served me well. The key to be successful is the billing process. I have wonderful insurance with Boeing. Not only did they charge me upfront when making the appointment, they failed to submit the correct documentation to the company for payment and now submitted the balance to a collection company. All my correspondence asking if they called Delta went unanswered. In addition they submitted an amount to collections that doesn’t even match the last bill they emailed. So now I will use my time to submit a bunch of paperwork to a collection company. This is the craziest experience when I have great insurance and a HSA. In my 36 years of having my own insurance I have never experienced a dentist with such a horrible billing process. You're warned.
Negative experience: Terrible terrible experience. My family and I have tried to give this dental office a chance more than once and every time we’ve been let down. I try to support because they are black owned but after my husband’s last visit we’ve had enough. Never again! They try to order all the expensive treatments and procedures that aren’t necessary at all. They quoted him $7k worth of work but told him they could do it for $1800 which doesn’t make any sense at all. They tried to pressure him into doing the treatments in a very unprofessional way. It was very off putting! Then on top of that the dental assistant was telling us one thing and the front desk would tell us something completely opposite. The communication was just horrible! We left more confused on what was actually needed! We were told insurance would cover a deep clean then days later they call and say it’s not covered! Like which one is it??? We will never go back there ever again. Done giving them chances! Never again!
Negative experience: They don’t really care about the customer service at all. They don’t care how to interact with the client and then they’re supposed to call you to get your cleaning and everything done and until this day it’s been a month and a half and they never called back they never like Gave me anything or talk to me or in any other way.
Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for about two years now, and I can't say enough good things about the experience! The staff is always so friendly and ready to help. Every time I walk in, the office is spotless and has the best smell—it really makes a difference! The doctor always shares great product recommendations for my teeth, and I find that super helpful. I've even recommended this place to a few family members, and they loved it just as much as I do!
Negative experience: I have been seeing this Dentist for 4 years, and would strongly recommend avoiding them. As many other people have stated, their communication with patients is terrible, and it seems that they have a tendency to order expensive procedures that are not necessary. The first time I visited them, they identified a LOT of work to be done. They wanted to fill some cavities and wanted to replace all of my previous fillings. I was dubious, but I had concerned that my previous dentist was too lax about my treatment, so I went ahead with it. Since then, every time I go in, they order more and more work. They have suggested more fillings, two crowns, an extraction, and a deep cleaning. Some of that might have been necessary, but I am skeptical. I have OFTEN had visits for cleanings in which, as I was leaving, the receptionist would ask me to schedule some procedure (like crown or extraction) that the doctor did not discuss with me at all, and would ask me for immediate payment. The first time I hear about a necessary procedure should be (obviously) be from the doctor themselves, and not from a receptionist as I am leaving. Their communication is terrible. There is the issue mentioned above, but also, anytime I need to contact them for anything (even something as simple as rescheduling) it takes days or weeks and multiple phone calls before I am able to get in touch with anyone who is able to help me. The final straw for me was this: I recently went in for a regular cleaning. They decided to do a bunch of new X-rays (which they seem to do every time), and then said that I needed a deep cleaning. They told me that my insurance would not cover it, and that I would need to pay $2000 out of pocket. I was there for almost 2 hours, and they did not even do a normal cleaning. I called my insurance company and gave them the codes provided by the dentist. The insurance company assured me that the deep cleaning should be covered at 90%. This was almost 2 weeks ago. Since then, I have called the dentist's office 4 times to try to figure out where the confusion was and to scheduling the cleaning. The take a message each time, but nobody every calls me back. My experience with this dentist has been terrible, and I am done with them.
Negative experience: This was a truly wild experience. From the front desk professionalism from two different individuals in person and over the phone to the actual appointment when I witnessed some unsanitary practices. Scheduling process is also horrible and inconsistent. They will call to cancel then say u missed your last appointment when they are the ones who rescheduled it in the first place.
Fantastic experience: I don’t like going to any dentist and I almost canceled 5 times but something made me keep the appointment. I was so surprised that the visit was wonderful! The assistant was friendly and didn’t hurt me , the dentist was so kind and caring and personable and the lady who checked me out went over everything and we bonded over life experiences! I LOVE THE SMILE COMPANY!
Negative experience: This office has major issues with scheduling issues, lost appointments, cancelled appointments and poor communications. I have had appts confirmed by text and then when I show up they don’t have me scheduled or they call me randomly when I’m not scheduled and ask me why I’m not there for my appt. The staff, hygenist and doctors seem to be great, but the overall management of the office is lacking, and therefore very frustrating and a waste of time and money.
Negative experience: I am very disappointed with how things have been regarding my last visit. I feel as though they were more concerned about generating an expensive treatment plan than addressing my issues. Then the very next day, I’m emailed a bill $374 with no explanation of the charges. I truly like Dr Robinson and his wife and have tried to support their practice for years but I am beginning to feel like maybe I need to find a new dental provider.
Negative experience: The receptionist has no public relation skills. She is rude and cannot smile. I had to pay before I even left my home for the appointment . The dentist didn't introduce herself with her name. The hygienist Riley was good but they want to sell their products heavily and mentioned the prevention kit about 4 times. They don’t have the usual dental equipment and used hand held devices like the X-ray machine. I saw a dentist 6 months ago and I had no cavities. I was told yesterday at Smile , I have 2 cavities and the old filling has to come out. I will get a second opinion.
Fantastic experience: Having someone who looks like me, servicing me puts a big smile on my face. She explained the process and plan as well to get my mouth and smile together. Looking forward to our future appointments and her working with me!
Negative experience: From making an appointment on the website, the friendly reminders in a text and call, the smiling front desk girls, the lovely hygienists, Dr. Ashley and Dr Keith, to the biscotti treats it's all top notch! Forget everything I wrote and reverse it. Such a shame. You can't make appointments. The receptionist says just walk in. For a tooth pull?!? They say the office manager will call but they never do. They don't want to pull my tooth without me paying $5000 for the caps. Feels like a hustle.
Negative experience: No, it's not an honor for you to be my dentist Smile Company. My previous appointment 6 months ago was professional. However, today April 22, 2025, I walked out the 40 Weldon Pkwy, Maryland Heights, MO 63043 due to one of your female hygienist unprofessional conduct and tone which she said "let me finish" when I was asking a question. FYI: once someone leaves a client mouth to enter information on a keyboard, gloves should be changed or implement two individual's during the hygiene cleaning. Working with the public is not easy sometimes. It could be the hygienist was not having a good day. However, I will not be returning to your establishment. Thanks but no thanks!
Negative experience: They will suggest 5 fillings for you , when done they will suggest another 6 fillings for you, when done, they will suggest another 7 fillings for you. After done the second time, my teeth keep pains while biting things. The reality is that no fillings needed, I went there for wisdom teeth removal, they give fake recommendations, it’s a place of scam!Worstever, do not go!
Fantastic experience: I absolutely love The Smile Company. They give excellent care and make sure you are on the right track for dental care. I highly recommend this office. I also love the fact I’m not there all day waiting.
Fantastic experience: The care and concern from the revision at the front desk to the dentist and hygienist was amazing! Thank you! I can’t wait to share the community you have established with your service!
Fantastic experience: The experience of my first time visit to The Smile Company was wonderful. I was nervous coming in but coming out I was comfortable ,relaxed and satisfied. They taught me a lot about my teeth that I never knew because other dental places that I have tried in the past weren’t as detailed or care enough to take the time out to really examine my teeth. From the check-in ladies, Simone who examine me and the boss of the operation were just excellent. They set me up with a plan so I too can one they have a beautiful smile and healthier teeth. This is one place that you do not want to pass up. The distance was a little steep but well worth the travel to new beginnings with my teeth. Thanks going out to The Smile Company and Simone I hope to have you again your excellent at your job.
Negative experience: Scheduling was a nightmare. The first appointment I booked was never recorded! I gave them a second chance. I scheduled for a week or so out as that worked for my busy schedule with 3 kids. They called me a day before confirming my appt…twice from two different people! I kept getting calls from them after that but I was in meetings and at work and didn’t feel the need to confirm once again. I get a text around 6pm the night before my appt that my appt was canceled. At this point I’ll find another dentist office. I tried to patronize a black owned dentist and before the service even started I kept getting let down. I recommend you create a better communication platform for your employees and customers. Creating time for appts are hard and I felt like you played with my time. I’ll find a more professional establishment
Negative experience: The doctor started to fill my cavity by giving me a shot, but did not give me a heads up prior to and so I freaked out over the needle. He decided not to continue services, Despite already administering 2 shots. They stated they have never had anyone freak out over a needle and shots in the mouth . Then sent me a patient dismissal as if it was my decision and not the doctors. I wouldn’t recommend.
Negative experience: I recently left an email and voicemail regarding a balance that my insurance should cover. I spoke with a representative who mentioned that I have secondary insurance and should use that, but I do not have secondary insurance. I am a college student, 31 weeks pregnant, and currently on Medicaid. Could you please direct me to the appropriate person who can help resolve this issue? I would greatly appreciate your assistance.
Negative experience: People at the desk may be nice, but that's the only good thing I have to say. They will continue to bill you even if you switch dentists. I haven't been to this dentist in the past year at least. I got invisalign a few years ago and paid them $6,000 out of pocket on the spot. I was never told of price adjustments (& turns out I was also definitely over charged for this as I only had 13 trays and I've had two other family members go for twice as long and pay a fraction of what I did). They kept billing my insurance for it though. One of the last times I went to the office, they said I had a bill of ~$1,000 left (which I also paid). I was under the impression I paid for my Invisalign so why is the total still going up? No explanation from them, no itemized receipt, etc. I check my insurance today and they are STILL billing me for orthodontic work. I got my Invisalign taken off in November 2023 and they are still charging me!!
Negative experience: I have never had worse dental care in my life. First we were referred to them because we DON'T have insurance. We were told that they have a sliding scale based on your income. This is NOT the case. We were charged $100 by phone BEFORE ever receiving ANY service. This alone should tell us something is wrong. Upon arrival: The guy at the front desk was rude and uninformed. A very nice woman came out from the back to rescue us. She must have sensed his inebtness. Once we finally got back in the chair the assistant was not gentle. Forcing instruments into my tongue as if it wasn't there. When we expressed discomfort we were ignored. The discomfort and lack of professionalism continued until we decided this place was of low caliber "care" and to leave without continuing the appointment. Upon rentertering the waiting room we were handed what we assumed was some sort of breakdown of our appointment. We were shocked to find that it was actually more of an "FU: letter stating they were rejecting us and "at this time they are not able to accept you as a patient" Don't worry we won't ever be back. We will also avoid any of the dentists you referred us to aa they likely treat patients in the same manner. We will be expecting a full refund of our $100
Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at The Smile Company. They told me I had six cavities and needed a root canal, which turned out to be completely false. They were clearly just trying to take my money. I went to a different, more trustworthy dentist, and they confirmed that I had zero cavities. It’s disappointing that a dental office would lie to patients just for profit. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Be careful if you go here!
Negative experience: They’ll bleed you dry. The bills are constant- as soon as you pay for one thing, they send you another bill weeks later. They charged me $234 for x-rays because insurance only covers two a year and they took two when I got a root canal- they immediately scheduled my yearly dental exam for the next month. Then weeks later I get a bill for something I didn’t realize I would be charged for. All this right after paying for a root canal and a filling too.
Fantastic experience: They did an amazing job I have medicaid and they followed my insurance plan they didn't do anything to make me take a service that wasn't covered by medicaid the nurse was awesome as well the doctor was very concerned about my health over doing a procedure that may have hurt my other health problems I have a heart condition and she gave me proper instructions on how to go about it instead of putting my life in jeopardy to make a few bucks to all of them thank you for the true professionalism and a side note my nurse had the most incredible eyes I've ever seen gorgeous lol
Negative experience: This place is a money grab. I tried them bc they’re closer to my house. I went here to establish care as a new patient and for my six month cleaning. I consistently visited my dentist and always kept good dental practices. At today’s visit they told me everything was wrong with my mouth from having degenerative bone disease, having several cavities and having gum disease. I’ve never received a report like this and am going back to my dentist.
Negative experience: This place is a nightmare. They only care about collecting money. I have been getting my teeth cleaned here every 6 months for 2 years and today they told me they would not clean my teeth and I would have to do a deep clean which is 500$ out of pocket after insurance. When i told them I could not afford a deep clean and asked if they could do a regular cleaning the hygienist mentioned it being a waste of time and that unless I scheduled a deep cleaning she could not clean them period. Then they proceeded to tell me I had 10 cavities. I know that I don’t have 10 cavities bc I just had to get a tooth pulled as an emergency situation and was evaluated at another office back in August and I had none at that time.
Fantastic experience: Update after my dental work: This place is absolutely the best! They went above and beyond to get my teeth healthy and looking great! I am so happy and highly recommend them to anyone needing work done. They were very professional and informed me very well on everything I needed. The dentist was top notch, and the hygienist was amazing!! Thank you Smile Company ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mike Metzger
Negative experience: My wife called and asked if they service Nuerodivergent children. They said yes, but when we arrived we didn't get the service we expected. After her x-rays and exam, we were referred out to another dentist. We were disappointed because we searched for several dentist who could take care of our daughter and we thought we found one.
Fantastic experience: I had an emergency and needed to see a dentist. The receptionist who checked me in was very friendly and put me at ease. I was very anxious and in pain. The hygienist took me back and was very friendly making sure I was comfortable etc. Dr Keith came in and he was very professional and concerned making sure I had no pain during the procedure. I definitely would recommend his staff and Dr Keith as your dentist. I want to add. This office wasn’t my regular dentist. They were closing in an hour of when I called them and took me in anyway. Great place!
Negative experience: Family and I were happy to go here and support a black business. However, from the few times we have gone, we feel that this clinic is very unprofessional. Not great customer service. Most of the staff seem new to the industry. Any information shared with me about procedures would be inconsistent (saying 9 cavities, then changing it to 12 cavities, doing fillings for both sides in one appt, then just doing one side when the appt came). Again, just unprofessional. Wouldn’t recommend.
Fantastic experience: I was very impressed by the details of my full exam that I received. Everyone was very professional and welcoming. This was my 1st visit. I have found an amazing team. Keep up the good work. I will be sending my family and friends to this office. Thank you.
Negative experience: Horrible customer service. I made an appointment on a Friday. That was scheduled for that following Monday. Only messages I received was to complete my patient chart. Which I did. Showed up for my appointment to be told they canceled it bc I didn’t confirm my appointment. What confirmation do you need between Friday making the appointment to Monday. Also lady at the front desk offered no other solution, place was empty. She could have atleast said let me see if we can get you in later, or would you like to reschedule. Instead sat there and said there’s nothing she can do. This was my very first time.
Fantastic experience: The beautiful black excellence in here was the highlight of my whole day. Seeing all the dental workers who are just like me and look like me made me feel safe. And I suffer from anxiety. I did not once have an attack or felt uncomfortable. If I could go everyday just to be treated with kindness, respect, and care. This is the best dentist office EVER
Fantastic experience: Amazing Staff! Came in with so much pain and anxiety. They made me comfortable and started a treatment plan for me to get my teeth back healthy! :)
Fantastic experience: 02/06/2025 Today I had a regular cleaning done. The staff made me feel welcome the moment I came through those doors. Both of the hygienists were caring, knowledgeable & professional. Dr. K. Robinson gave great advice/ asked questions , he was caring, professional & knowledgeable of his job. Cynthia
