Negative experience: An employee here who drives a black Volkswagen SUV likes to park extremely close to others with complete disregard to the fact that they have to get into their vehicles. Happened to me a few times, have seen it happen to others & them get frustrated as well. Maybe park in the main lot if you can’t give enough space? Wouldn’t come here as a customer if they can’t even be mindful of something so simple. Edit to add after leaving this review nothing has changed, this employee continues to park in another businesses spots crooked & too close to others for proper room getting in/out of vehicles.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE this dentist office and all of the staff! They are all so happy, helpful and friendly! My kids are always treated well and after the first visit, they are never nervous or scared to go to any of their appointments! It's great! 5/5 ☆

Fantastic experience: Very impressed with this place! When I had previously forgot & missed our appointment, they were very understing & happily rescheduled us. Our first time in it was so refreshing to see that the office had toys & tv in the lobby. It felt like a safe & enclosed space for my toddlers to run around without being able to roam into the patient clinic since the door shuts. The front desk staff, dental hygienist, and dentist were all very patient, kind, and understanding of our situation. Front desk person even gave the kids superhero masks while we waited! One of my 2.5 year olds is autistic and we knew this would be hard for him no matter what. Us & the dental hygienest provided accommodations to help him acclimate to this new environment. She went slow and wasnt forceful with anything. It was immediately clear he couldn't handle laying down or opening his mouth for routine cleaning. Since we have no dental concerns (and i brush their teeth daily & right before the appointment), she she said we could just have the dentist take a look and reduce the chance of unnecessarily traumatizing him and making him scared of coming back. She showed him how a few tools worked and recognized when he was scared and not interested. I love that she honored his need for minimal contact and kept things moving along smoothly. The dentist came in quickly after & was great with all 3 of the kids. He was able to wait until my son opened his mouth again to cry, assessed his teeth in under a minute, and we were all done! Everyone was warm, welcoming, and great with the kids. On our way out my daughter got a token for their cool machine to get a little toy and the boys got really nice floaty bath toys (no holes to avoid mold!). The dental hygienest made her feel very special with a little axolotl toy. They were mindul and gentle with all 3 of my kids to give them a positive experience. Im just so impressed how thoughtful they were with the details, patient care, time management, and all the little things because it adds up and truly matters. They made our experience much less stressful than it would have been other places. We got 3 kids in & out in less than an hour which is a huge bonus!

Positive experience: I really liked Burg Ortho at the beginning of my treatment plan, I’ve been doing braces for about 16 months. Earlier this year they fired Dr. Chu because an office in Park City couldn’t keep business and had to close down forcing her out of the position, which was a real shame because she was a fantastic orthodontist and was extremely attentive to every patient. Ever since then, it seems like the organization has gone downhill by a lot, not to mention they are now closing down this office, so instead of being able to conveniently go to my appointments near my home, I will have to drive 30 minutes to Murray for a 20 minute appointment. Scheduling has become much less flexible it seems, don’t miss an appointment because they will charge you a fee every time you do. Some of the employees are kind, but the general atmosphere of the office has been less friendly and personal in the last 6 months or so. I would recommend looking at other Orthodontists in the area that are not unstable and will keep your appointments in the same location for the duration of treatment, as well as not randomly fire your orthodontists when it becomes inconvenient for the business to keep them around.

Positive experience: I was happy with the service except the front desk lady who’s on the window. She was nice to everyone but us, specially when I told her I had a new dental insurance she made us wait for almost 35 minutes and the face she made. I decided to go somewhere else, since for some of us first impression matters.

Fantastic experience: Burg is the best! If you are looking for a dentist for your littles, this is the place. The entire team is genuine and professional. They definitely go the extra mile to ensure you’re taken care of. Thank you Burg for being so good to my girls

Fantastic experience: We have been seen Dr Knudson at Burg Children’s Dentistry in Bountiful for an about 7 years now and cannot say enough good things about him and his team. They are genuinely interested in their patients, ate professional and courteous which is not always the case for many places.

Positive experience: This is probably more about a previous visit than the most recent one. Let me be fair, that in the world of getting dental work done, Burg is good to great, but there are 2 things that aren't specific to actual dentistry that I feel that they should be deducted for. 1. They really push "laughing gas" which I wouldn't generally have an issue with except that they charge $40 for it. They sort of just assume everytime you are there the kids should get it. This is something not covered by insurance (or atleast not ours) and I am aware of other dentists that only charge $5 for it. Considering they are shaping the attitude many of these kids will have about the dentist, I think they should offer this at a much more reasonable price. But this seems like too much of a money grab especially considering the price increase this past year or so and my guess has super high margins 2. And some may laugh at me about this, but the dentist told a story, maybe he thought our kid was old enough, maybe they just didn't think about it, but it very well could have caused questions about the Easter Bunny and if they are real which then could cause questions about other holiday figures. Luckily my kid didn't pick up on it. I just think that being a children's dentist, they should be more careful. We have continued to go to Burg, we just don't do the laughing gas and hope/assume/maybe avoid trips clise to holidays that there won't be another haphazard story or until all of our kids have come to certain conclusions.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. Made my 6 and 3 year old children feel calm. Dr Knudson has ann excellent bedside manner and explains his recommendations thoroughly. Well organized clinic. Excellent service.

Fantastic experience: This was my son's first dentist appointment and he absolutely loved it! The dental assistant was showing him how all of the tools worked and even let him try it before they cleaned his teeth. I was so relieved at how well his first appointment went! I will definitely keep going back. Would highly recommend this location if it's your kiddos first appointment or even if they just need a new dentist. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Amazing people! I had been going to this location for a couple years but decided I needed something closer to home so I had gone to another dentist and I did not have a good experience with the new one, I was quoted about $600 (starting) to have my daughter’s tooth pulled using IV sedation, they said she had an infection. It freaked me out and made me worry, so I decided to go back and get a second opinion with Burg Children’s Dentistry. They were so reassuring, and they prescribed her an antibiotic immediately, the other dentist did not! They got my daughter in only 1 day later to have the tooth pulled to stop the infection, and it only cost me $94 with my insurance! The Dentist assured me he had never had to put a child to sleep to pull a tooth! My daughter did great, it was super fast and painless for her. Everyone at this location has always been so amazing to my daughter. I will never cheat on them again They are the best! The 40 minute drive is worth it for me.

Fantastic experience: My 7 year old was actually happy most of the visit, which I’ve never experienced before with any of his prior dentist appointments. The staff really know how to make these kids feel comfortable and happy.

Positive experience: My six-year-old African American daughter visited this office for the second time last week. I noticed that the dental assistant kept calling her "sis," which bothered me. I didn’t say anything at the time because I wanted to discuss it with my family first. After talking with them, I called the office on Monday to share that we found this offensive. While I understand that "sister" can be a term of endearment in the Black community, it feels inappropriate coming from someone outside our culture. I would have preferred if the assistant had just called my daughter by her name, Eve. It’s important to protect our children from disrespectful language. What upset me even more was the staff’s response when I brought it up. They laughed and dismissed my concerns, which felt really disrespectful. It’s disappointing that they don’t understand how serious this is, especially for us as a Black family. While the dentist was professional, it’s clear that the staff needs training on proper etiquette. All patients, especially children, deserve to be treated with respect. I hope this feedback leads to better communication in the future.

Fantastic experience: UPDATE- Dr K is the best!!! We had to have some teeth pulled and he used all the tricks to make it a good experience. UPDATE- another awesome appointment. Heather wins again. Dr Handy was great too. Even got my timid kid to open up. My kids love coming to the dentist! Burg is THE best. Heather is especially friendly & fun with the kids.

Fantastic experience: We just moved to Utah and we have six kids. We loved our experience. Their names were on the board when we walked in and everyone was ready to welcome them with superhero gear. Everyone was so friendly! The dentist was funny and made our kids love the dentist. We are so happy we found them!

Fantastic experience: my kids love going to Burg orthodontics. My daughter moved from a different Orthodontist that she had a horrible time at, and when she came to this place, it was 100% better. I wish we would’ve started there to begin with four years ago. Their whole team is awesome! Thank you Burg orthodontics!

Negative experience: We have been to see Dr. Knudsen many times without problem, however we will not be returning. During my last visit with multiple children, they split my children into different rooms which caught me off guard and made it difficult to be present for their cleanings and exams. I had to ask afterwards for details regarding my children’s teeth. However, what really frustrated me was the way my three year old daughter was treated on her first visit. She was apprehensive, and given no explanation from staff of what was about to happen for cleaning, x-ray, or exam. The dentist walked in without introduction, tapped the bench and said let’s take a look, she and I both said not today, he promptly looked and me and said he would be happy to “force, push, or hold her down”. I then had to repeat myself saying no, as I didn’t feel comfortable forcing her on her first time stepping foot into a dentist office. I’m pretty sure that is a fast path to lifelong fear of dentists, and overall, not a mentality I am willing to expose my daughter to. He then carried on with some sort of fear mongering speech that I was not interested in. I am aware of the use of restraints used by pediatric dentists for difficult behavior, but she was not screaming or biting, just apprehensive. Dentists are a dime a dozen in Utah, save yourself from having to do damage control with your little ones and find a different office. (I would like to add this review is not a reflection of the women at the front desk who are very competent and organized.)

Fantastic experience: The staff at Burg is AMAZING!!! We are always greeted with big smiles and hellos! My kids are always comfortable while there and fighting as to who gets to go first! You guys are awesome.

Fantastic experience: My kids love coming to the dentist. This is an office that knows how to work with kids. The staff are patient and kind when the kids are nervous or hyper. They provide a detailed summary of your visit and show you all costs before services. Dr. K is charming with the kids and provides thorough, practical guidance about every dental question we’ve posed.

Fantastic experience: Whether you are a normal kid or an adult or a kid with special needs, they are absolutely fantastic!!! You will get incredible care from amazing people and everyone will have a great experience! They make the kids feel so comfortable and do everything to make each visit the best it can be!

Negative experience: I genuinely never want to smile again with how bad my teeth look now.They do not pay attention to patients and constantly mess up. Despite having shared my concerns with the way my teeth were filled they were unable to deliver. On top of that, they are very discriminatory towards children in DCFS.

Positive experience: I took my 6 year old daughter in to have 2 cavities filled & a crown. The woman at the front was very sweet with my daughter while giving her a prescription 30 minutes prior to the appointment. My daughter had no issues taking it or waiting for her appointment. The woman that took us back for her appointment was also very kind & helpful. She made my daughter feel very comfortable while she waited for the dentist. She answered all my questions about the procedure. The dentist was also very kind & didn't mind my daughter was wiggly & struggled to keep the nose piece on for laughing gas. He fixed her teeth very quickly & gave me info for after care. After they were very flexible with how I paid, because I forgot my debit card. They were able to take payment over the phone with my husband. I would definitely recommend early appointments for children who don't really like the dentist or are very active. They get busy fast. This time my daughter was able to pick the movie she wanted. That really helped her relax while having her teeth worked on. Also if you want extra things like a tooth brush & toothpaste be sure to ask. We really like this dentis so far! I definitely would recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Adamary was amazing. Absolutely love the orthodontics team. Dr. Marz is great. The dental assistants are amazing and always talk to the kids and explain everything they are doing, while they are doing it. I especially appreciate how responsive and attentive they are to my kids needs, when they’ve had to have their mouths open and need water or a break from whatever procedure is being done. They make having braces an easy experience.

Fantastic experience: We love this place! My kiddos always leave with a smile on their face. They understand the importance of making dentist visits as pleasant as possible for little ones and have a lot of different strategies to accomplish that. From fun dress up clothes, to TV's in the ceiling, to the right kind of meds if necessary. I have 4 kids and they do their best to accommodate them all, whether it be scheduling them back to back for cleanings, or welcoming spectators if only one has an appointment. At our latest cleaning, Erin and Devree were wonderful!

Fantastic experience: We visited this dentist today for a second opinion. We were so impressed with how clean the office was. How friendly the staff was. They were expecting us and called my son by name. Jessica had done some work for us in the background to get some information from our former dentist. She was informative and they were more than happy to work with us on a payment. They were literally half of the price of the other place we had been going to. They have’t done anything for us other than give a second opinion, look at previous X-rays and look in my sons mouth. We have chosen to have them help us. Again we want to thank Jessica for all that she has done. We will definitely be recommending them!

Fantastic experience: Had a family trip to Texas planned, daughter woke up with a toothache, not only did they get us in right away, they also diagnosed an infected tooth and were able to schedule us the same day to have it removed. As terrifying as this whole ordeal was for my daughter the dentist and the entire staff showed kindness and compassion throughout the whole process even as my daughter was screaming at the top of her lungs. The dentist held his composure 100%. Thank you guys so much. I can't say enough about this place. She woke up pain free and we were able to do our trip. Fantastic experience: Our experience here is ALWAYS amazing. Our oldest has been a few times and still excited ever time we tell her we are going. This was our youngest first time and Heather and Dr. K made it so easy and fun! Heather walked us through every step and showed us what was next so our daughter wasn’t scared!

Fantastic experience: I’ve enjoyed coming to this location in bountiful close to home and they work with your schedule! I have a 2 year old that had small cavities and they worked around his cavities and did such a great job. I’m so grateful to be working with Heather she’s been assisting with my sons and she’s so wonderful with children! Fantastic experience: Heather is awesome! It was my daughter's first time getting a cavity filled. They explained everything they were doing so she knew what to expect. Love this place! They are so patient with my kids, especially during the x-rays. Tayla is so sweet and made them laugh. My daughter is always nervous and she made her feel so comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I am blown away by this office. They went to every length to make sure our visit was positive. My daughter is very shy and apprehensive of new people and experiences, but she was definitely warming up to our assistant Ryan and all the fun he was showering her. Thank you! UPDATE: Still loving this place! Super fun, relaxed, patient. We saw Heather today and my daughter LOVED her! UPDATE: My daughter even threw up all over our new friend Hadlee today during x-rays and she was still so sweet! We've loved every assistant we've had in this office. I recommend it to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Heather was our dental assistant. She was amazing and did an amazing job!! My son needed to come in to get some work done and was in a ton of pain and was absolutely terrified. She was super sensitive and gentle with him. She did a great job at catering to his needs and made him feel totally comfortable and at ease :)

Fantastic experience: We love Burg Pediatric dentistry! Hadlee was awesome! I use to drive my kids to Salt Lake for this dental group, so we love having one so close to our house. Everybody is super friendly. I love that I can take my three boys in and we are in and out in an hour.

Fantastic experience: Took my daughter back to Burg’s today. She was super nervous even though she had a good experience last time. She woke up at 4:30am and asked us to read the kid dentist books we had bought her. She finally went back to sleep an hour later. When we got to the dentist’s office, my daughter was in tears. The dentist’s assistant, Heather, was so good. She greater my daughter warmly and complemented her on her dress. It out my daughter at ease. They let my girl sit on my lap while they took X-rays of her teeth and were just so accommodating to help make my little one feel less scared throughout the process. I recommend Burg Children’s Dentistry to everyone. Just took my 3-year daughter for her second visit to Burg Children’s Dentistry and had a wonderful experience. This was the first time they cleaned my daughter’s teeth and took x-rays and Heather helped my daughter not feel scared or nervous. I was blown away at how friendly all of the staff was and how well they did in taking care of my daughter. I will continue to come back!

Fantastic experience: We love Burg Dentistry. When your kids look forward to going to the dentist you know they have to be good. From day one they have been so good and extremely patient. It wasn’t always fun to come but their patience with them has finally paid off We went today for our 6 month check up and Sydney was our technician. She was so wonderful with my kids and very interactive. She colored and played games while we waited for the dentist. If I could give her 10 stars I would.

Fantastic experience: My children love coming to the dentist here! Staff is always friendly and very accommodating! We had a little bit of a wait, and Sydney played games with my kids and kept them entertained! They love her!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my son to Burg dentistry in bountiful since he was a baby and I’ve always had a great experience here. The dentist is always welcoming and lightens the mood whenever we come for my son’s visit. Hadlee is also very helpful and funny. :) overall the whole staff is very friendly and professional. Fantastic experience: It was my sons first time ever at a dentist and he loved it!! Everyone was super friendly. He even got a cape and a bag full of toys and goodies. His best friend was definitely Adamary or as he called her “kid”. He was sad to leave so I could tell he was comfortable. Definitely recommend!! Edit: came for our 6 month and Adamary was our tech again! She’s so amazing and friendly! We love it here!

Fantastic experience: Heather was phenomenal at keeping my son calm while they worked on his cavity. She changed his movie and let him touch the tools to feel like he understood ❤️ This was the third pediatric dentist we visited with my boys age 4 and age 2. They were so kind and worked so well from beginning to end. Additionally Burg accepts many different insurances and took both my insurance and my husbands insurance and made the process seamless! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Our son loves coming here. They are so good to us. They make the experience fun and comfortable even with Covid. They answer all your questions. They are super patient with wiggly and nervous kiddos. Angelica was great. Happy and great at what she does. Dr. K is super knowledgeable, friendly, and makes you feel like any question isn't a dumb one. Sidney also has assisted Dr. K when our son has had work to be done and she is so patient with him wanting to play with all the things. I'm grateful we came here. When we had our return visit they remembered us and made us feel welcome. Its a great place to bring your kids.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been coming to Berg’s dentistry for a couple years and my son gets so excited when it’s time to go see Molar Man! The staff does an excellent job at making it a fun and easy experience for kids and parents. We had HADLEE today and ANGELICA last visit. Both did a great job getting my son excited about brushing his teeth.

Fantastic experience: My son recently had to have cavities filled and a crown. Dr. K and Heather were so great with him. They made sure he was comfortable and the process was such a breeze! Cavities can be scary but they were so calm and made it a positive experience for both of us! We love Burg children's dentistry! Dr. K is sogood with kids and is honest about what really needs to be done with my children's teeth. Hadley and Heather were both so sweet and patient with our kids! 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Heather was really patient and sweet with my wild children (like literally climbing everywhere, touching everything) and made us all feel welcome. She is just wonderful! Dr. K was informative and kind and answered my questions without making me feel stupid for asking. We loved our experience and will definitely return! If you have kids, take them here. Fantastic experience: The staff make my daughter SO excited to come back! She has never even known to be scared of the dentist because they take such good care of her. Angelica handled my 6 year old and 1.5 year old SEAMLESSLY! During COVID I felt very safe as they took every precaution and felt sooooo clean. These guys are rockstars and have the most loyal patients because of it

Fantastic experience: Heather Adamary and Handled were fantastic today. 3 kids with cavities, and one with a crown and everyone was laughing and happy. Burg is our favorite! My daughter got her braces on and she was so nervous! Staff put us right at ease! Everything was patiently explained as it was happening. We love Burg! Thanks to Dallynn for her work!

Fantastic experience: Our last appointment my son was so nervous he only let them brush his teeth. This time we had Hadlee who took the X-rays and cleaned his teeth and she was so great with him. I was impressed at the way she was able to encourage him to participate today. Such a great experience!

Fantastic experience: We have had great experiences at Burg. My kids find it to be sort of an adventure, and even my three year old is comfortable with the dentist. Hadlee the dental hygienist was extremely professional and interacted beautifully with our kids, keeping them occupied until the dentist got to us.

Fantastic experience: We came in today for fillings and extraction for our two older boys. Our younger brother had woke up with a cold so I stayed in the car with him while the staff took the two others into the office. I was feeling a little worried to not be inside to support them, but it turned out there was no need to be worried as Heather, Sydney and Dr K took excellent care of them! I was expecting them to come back to the car unhappy and uncomfortable, but I got quite the opposite. They were both happy as can be and excited about their new treasures. Thanks Heather, Sydney and Dr K! ———- We had a great experience at Burg Dentistry! We brought 3 of our young boys in all at the same time and Angelica handled it like a champ! She was friendly and accommodating and made everyone, including mom, feel right at home:). Our 6 year old who has NEVER liked dentist visits was particularly worried about going, but thanks to Angelica and the very kind Dentist he left his first visit with Burg Dentistry saying he loved it and wanted to go back again soon! What a miracle! See you again in 6 months!
