Fantastic experience: Great first visit! Very thorough exam, Kind, compassionate and upbeat staff. Was concerned that the expensive and expansive office would cause fees to be higher. Nobody tried to sell me on extra or unnecessary procedures. I love this dentistry practice!

Fantastic experience: Nice, clean, and comfortable place to be for a dentist office. TVs to watch on the ceiling as work is being performed to take your mind off the work. Great work done to my teeth by a great and informational dentist. I'll recommend Gillespie Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I had been planning to make an appointment at the recommendation of a friend, but then on a Friday afternoon, a crown came loose, and I didn't want to go back to the dentist who had installed it. I called and was able to get an appointment for first thing Monday morning. After fixing the crown, a hygienist was available to do a cleaning, something I was due for, and I received a full exam since it was my first visit. Everyone was so kind and created a relaxing environment--a first for me for a dentist's office! I actually had no hesitation making my 6-month appointment for my next cleaning, again a first!

Fantastic experience: If going to the dentist could be a great experience, this would be the place! They are very thoughtful, patient, and accommodating, and try to make it the least worst they can: sunglasses to guard your eyes vs lights so they can see, numbing gel (sometimes anesthesia), letting one know what is happening and what to expect, continuously checking on how one is doing . . . they have a program of offering free dental care to those who can't afford it. I'm very impressed. The office is pleasant and the parking area plenty adequate. Update: Big beautiful new premises since July 2025. Felt like I had a hole in my tooth. turned out to be a piece of my tooth chipped out, so I need a crown. Having it done in 2 stages. If possible, they are better than ever. great staff. Accommodating for this old grandma paraplegic with bad shoulders. Modern technology reminds me how bad dentistry was in the Old West of 150 years ago. They can take x-rays and show you on screen immediately what your teeth and bones look like (what a learning experience for kids!). They have screens on the ceiling so you can watch interesting shows (I like animal documentaries). I got laughing gas to ease my anxieties, probably subdued my terrible gag relfex, and the time slipped quickly away. They are up front about costs, and my daughter signed me up for Delta Dental insurance, which cut the cost in half.

Negative experience: I had to have 2 root canals on 2 teeth that were next to each other. I had previously let staff know that I was hard to numb, and I reminded the doctor, again, at the beginning of the procedure(I had to have a palette numbing at another practice). After a couple of minutes, I let the doctor know that I could still feel & was in tremendous pain. The doctor told me to "power through it" and he just continued. My heart was racing the entire time, I was shaking from the pain & I was gripping the chair very hard. Even after a few days, I was still in a considerable amount of pain & extremely swollen, I called the office and the staff was extremely rude & condescending towards me. And the doctor was no different. I went to my PCP and I had a sinus infection, which was contributory to my discomfort. Fast forward & the back of those teeth, the work they overlaid, cracked off & broke a portion of my tooth off. And now, one of the teeth has broken off completely at the gum line, which is in the top front of my mouth. So, now I am missing a front tooth because of this practice. Do not go to this practice if you want a compassionate, empathic, caring dentist. I was treated poorly by the hygienist, the office staff and the doctors. It has taken me a couple of years to write this review because I was so traumatized by my experience and then now, this happens with my broken tooth, which moved me to warn others about this "popular" dentist.

Fantastic experience: Losing a front tooth was my biggest nightmare. The way Dr Brad and Tara worked on me with the implant surgery and a temporary tooth makes this process much easier. This is a dentist I can trust. Thank you for being gentle.

Positive experience: Showed up early after making sure I was able to get a shorter schedule at work so I could go to the dentist. Had to wait about 18- 20 past the time that was scheduled( however if you're running late and can't make your appointment in less than ten mins past your scheduled time they have to re-schedule you) over the phone. Assistant was nice. Apologized for the wait. Took x-rays. Explained a few things. Brought the Dr. in for a second opinion. Went over a updated plan. Sent me on my way to the person at the front desk to sign a paper that says they need 48 hrs for a cancelation or you'll be charged. She went over the cost of updated plan.. told her I will talk to the boss about it and get back to her and I went home with no cleaning. I cut half a day at work for the cleaning to be done. Just a regular blue collar guy but half a days pay is a full tank of diesel and a decent dinner at a resturaunt. Color me disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give more stars if I could. The new building it’s welcoming, bright, clean and the state of the art equipment. I love the energy when I walk into the building. Dr Greg, he’s unmatched. He’s very skilled and seemed to care. Dr Greg fixed my dental issues and showed genuine care and compassion throughout the process. Anna and Cat are knowledgeable and they were supportive and helpful with my needs. Thank you Dr Greg and the staff for a great experience!

I had a chipped front tooth, and they got me in the next day and were able to repair it, and you can't tell where it was broken. Fantastic experience: I could not be happier with our experience at Gillespie Dentistry!! My daughter just had her wisdom teeth removed and it went so smoothly. Dr. Greg and the people working with him were incredibly kind and professional. We were sent home with care instructions that included a number we could text in the evening and over the weekend with any questions. We had a question later that evening and Dr. Greg promptly responded. Frankly, it was shocking to receive such exceptional care. We are coming from Kaiser and are not used to such quality care and treatment from our dentists. It was so good to know that Dr. Greg was actually concerned about our daughter’s recovery. The office called the following Monday to check on how she was doing. Again, we were blown away and so impressed! Patients are not just a number or a dollar sign at Gillespie Dentistry. They are people that the doctors actually care about. We are so happy to be with this practice!

Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea. I have asthma and was very concerned about using a CPAP machine like my husband. It made me think I would feel like I was drowning having the forced air. Fortunately, the dental appliance has been a fantastic option for me. My body responded immediately to it and I’ve had terrific results. Snoring has stopped, I don’t wake up in a fog anymore, I have more energy throughout the day, and I am experiencing very little discomfort. My bite bounces back quickly after I wake up and remove the appliance. It’s been really a great experience and Dr. Gillespie & team have been fabulous. I highly recommend them & the appliance option for sleep apnea!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Greg, Anna, and Cate are truly something special. From the second I walked in, they made me feel so cared for and excited about my smile. I got two no-prep veneers - one on each side of my front teeth - and gingivectomies on a few top teeth to even out my gummy smile. The whole process was smooth and honestly so fun. They were so sweet the entire time, hyping me up and making me feel confident through every step! I walked in as a patient and left feeling like I had just spent time with friends. I can’t recommend them enough. This experience meant so much to me, and I’ll probably talk about it forever!!

Fantastic experience: I haven't had a consistent dentist schedule in the past, often going quite a while between check ups. This was in no way helped by how I felt going to my previous dentist. There, I felt shamed because my gums bled and I have vivid memories of them talking about me as if I wasn't in the room, considering expensive and painful procedures. I have a regular cleaning routine at home and my teeth are not bad at all, but this other place made it seem like I was the worst patient. Then I found Gillespie Dentistry, which just so happens to be 5 minutes away from my house, and it sounds weird, but I actually look forward to going to the dentist again. From my first visit, they recognized my gum issue and suggested a simple fix which has yielded fantastic results and helped me form better habits. They have also been very upfront about what my insurance covers and costs of procedures, never pushing anything on me, but rather talking to me about things in honest conversation. I know this sounds like some saccharine commercial, but it's true. They are personable, honest, thorough and gentle. Their office is clean and modern, the front desk staff are courteous and friendly, and the dentists and hygienists have all been fantastic. Everyone seems proud of the work they do and the care they give, and they should be! Keep it up! I feel grateful to have found a dental office that cares so much about their patients and I hope to continue going here for many years to come. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of Gillespie Dentistry for several years and I have always had wonderful care. I just had my first cleaning done at their new office and I am now even more impressed. I already knew they highly valued patient comfort and care, but their new building really proves it. I had my teeth expertly and painlessly cleaned while watching Netflix on a TV above me, reclined in what must me the most comfortable dental chair they make. It was incredible! This is a dental office that really does put their patients first.

Everyone was very kind and genuine and really helps ease the tensions. Overall, I really enjoyed coming here and highly recommend Dr. Emilee who helped me out!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy with the work done. I needed some old veneers replaced and Dr Greg took the time to understand what I wanted and then created a mock up of what that could look like. He also explained all of the steps involved so I knew what to expect. I am normally very anxious about dental work and Dr Greg and the team gave me a number of options to choose from and so I went with sedation and was really glad I did. The final result is fabulous, a natural smile that is really comfortable. AND now I see Dr Dennis for my sleep apnea. I have been able to lock my C-PAP machine (and its horrible carry case) in a cupboard and am now wearing an oral appliance. This makes things much easier - especially for travel. The process was straight forward and I can now go to sleep completely unplugged!

Fantastic experience: I have used a CPAP for Sleep Apnea for over 26 years and after dental issues from grinding my teeth while sleeping, I have finally started using a SomnoMed Appliance that was fitted by Dr. Dennis Gillispie. I have been very happy with the results and services received. I still use my CPAP along with the SomnoMed and the results have been great and my tooth and jaw issues have completely disappeared. Wish I would have did this years ago!!

After having struggled with sleep apnea for sometime, I went in for an oral appliance to treat the disorder, not knowing what to expect. After receiving the device, my follow-up appointments have been very helpful in making sure I have ongoing success with the appliance. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Gillespie Dentistry. I had a new patient appointment and they were very kind and clear. I didn't have to wait for my appointment and their office was clean well-appointed. I was greeted by the dentist and he let me know how the appointment would go. A lot of offices I hardly see the dentist and it's right at the end for a few seconds. So this was a nice welcome. The hygienist was also great and very thorough. I will definitely continue to go back here.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful dentistry in the East Vancouver area - I was in the process of establishing a new dentist in the area and hadn't been seen yet, but had a tooth emergency right before my wedding-day and all the photos yet to take! So I reached out and was scheduled super-quickly with Dr. Ryan, experience was fantastic, they fixed my chipped tooth just in time for my wedding and helped with a loose filling.. best dentist office I have been to by far and I highly recommend them to anyone - overall the nicest team of people I could have asked for at such a stressful time. They did an amazing job, scheduled me right before the wedding so I even had time to get my teeth whitened some! :)

Fantastic experience: Best cleaning experience in 40 years I’ve ever had. They used a gel-type solution on my gums to ease the pain . A lot better than those shots and walking around with a flopping, numb jaw after deep cleaning .

Fantastic experience: If you are having sleep issues, you MUST try Gillespie and see if a sleep device is right for you. My device has changed my sleep and really my whole wellbeing. I was thrilled with my entire experience at Gillespie. Tara is the program coordinator for the sleep devices and she is organized, professional, and friendly. She walked me through the entire process and was my point of contact the whole time. It was like getting concierge service. Dr. Dennis was the presiding dentist for the program and he too was helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. My insurance covered almost all of the cost for the device!

Fantastic experience: Went here for a second opinion. Other dentist advised me my tooth had to be pulled and couldn’t be saved. Other dentist was a good guy but he didn’t have the imaging equipment to get the best look. Gillespie Dentistry was able to scan my teeth with high resolution and were able to determine my tooth was savable! Instead of having a hole in my head and paying a fortune for an implant, these guys were able to save my tooth and save me money! Their staff is super friendly and made me feel comfortable the entire time. This place is very organized and super clean! Top notch professionalism! Highly recommend! As an added bonus, the staff wears black and it’s fun to pretend they are all ninjas! Perhaps plaque assassins if you will.

Fantastic experience: Thank You Gillespie Sleep Dentistry!! I have had nothing but success with my new Oral Appliance. My Sleep is 100% better and the attention I received pre and post procedure has been nothing less than amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who is considering an alternative to the standard CPAP machine. This simple mouth piece has done wonders for my sleep and overall health.

Fantastic experience: Pleasant hygienist but miscoded treatment resulting in me paying for what insurance wouldn't cover. No problem w that concept. However, I was told I wouldn't get that money until insurancec processed the claim. Really? So I'm forced to wait probably a month. If you know it's a mistake, and software tells you what insurance will pay, one would think you'd simply credit the card. Hope this doesn't happen to others. This experience nullifies the prior good visits. ============================================== UPDATE: 3/8/2025 - they made it right and I'm updating my review to 5*. It wasn't about the $ but the principle. Other than this incident, the office & staff have always been pleasant/courteous and very welcoming. Everyone took time to explain things and any findings. This isn't something that happens often when most practitioners are running off to their next pt and the next pt....

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Gillespie Dentistry - Dr. Dennis, specifically - for a sleep apnea dental appliance, and I couldn't be happier. I had deferred doing a sleep study because I didn't want the hassle of a CPAP machine, as evidenced by several family members. The dental mouth guard is the perfect thing for me. And the knowledgeable (and friendly) staff made onboarding the device quick and easy! Maintaining it is super simple and takes very little time. It is small and fits into my purse when I have to travel with it. As does my retainer. Thanks to Dr. Dennis and his awesome team I'm sleeping SO much better. I feel better.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough nice things about this practice. It had been way too long since I had my teeth cleaned, like multiple years. I knew I needed a cleaning bad, like super bad. I have a family friend who is a pediatric dentist (shout out to Dr. Todd at Adventure Dental!) who said this is where he gets his teeth cleaned and they are amazing. I have some dental trauma in my background. I actually had a hygienist once who was in full lecture mode, I excused myself to use the restroom, got in my car and drove home nearly in tears. Never went back. So like an out of shape guy walking into a gym, it took all my strength to walk in here. They treated me like an old friend. They were literally EXCITED I was there and that they had the opportunity to work on my teeth. I was speechless, I apologized my teeth were so bad, my hygienist said she was excited to have me in her chair. Shout out to Teresa. Not once ounce of guilt, totally dedicated to my comfort and the fact I get anxious. It is also nice they have a full range of services in one office. The front desk staff are super nice and they TEXT!!! So you dont have to call and wait on hold. 5 star all around.

Fantastic experience: I had not been to a dentist in three years due to a family illness. Gillespie Dentistry was recommended to me by a neighbor. I cannot thank neighbor my enough. The front desk welcomed me when I arrived, and the x-ray technician, my hygienist and my dentist could not have been nicer. Everyone was so nice. It was actually a pleasure to go to the dentist. I highly recommend Gillespie Dentistry and their staff.

Fantastic experience: I don't typically leave reviews, but when I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and told I was at high risk for strokes and heart attacks at only 24, I was scared as to what my future would look like. I was scared I would not be able to afford the treatments I would need to function, and I had no idea what steps to take next. The team at Gillespie Dentistry addressed my concerns and reassured me that I didn't have anything to fear. They walked me through the process of creating an oral appliance to ease the symptoms of my diagnosis and checked in often throughout the process. They genuinely cared about my comfort and health and were kind, patient, and understanding as I came to terms with my situation. They ensured the appliance fit well and was comfortable and explained in detail how to utilize and adjust the instrument when needed. Thanks to their care and support, I am finally getting so much better sleep each night, and I no longer am afraid of what my diagnosis means for my health. Gillespie Dentistry took an intimidating and frightening diagnosis and made it seem not only less scary, but even addressable. I genuinely could not have asked for a better care team.

Fantastic experience: I came to Gillespie to possibly get veneers. After meeting with Dr. Greg we discussed all the options and I ended up going through ortho with Dr. Dennis with some finishing touches by Dr. Ryan. EVERY SINGLE staff person was so friendly and kind during my year long process. I finished my treatment yesterday and I could not be more thrilled with the results. Thank you to the entire team.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment for a regular cleaning and check-up today, and the experience was very positive. Even though it seems to be a popular dental office and I had to schedule well in advance, everything went smoothly. The staff was communicative and explained everything I needed to know. I’d like to thank the dental hygienist, Patty (I hope I spelled her name correctly), who cleaned my teeth thoroughly, including removing buildup that previous hygienists at other offices had failed to address. They also measured every detail of my teeth, which I had never experienced with any other dentist before. I didn’t have much interaction with the doctor, but she was very friendly. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. BTW, I loved the scenery outside the window near the dental chair. I also heard that they’ll be moving to a nearby location soon to accommodate more patients.

Fantastic experience: I love their cleaning process — ultrasound first, then use the metal scraper for the few areas that still have buildup followed by polishing. The ultrasound makes the cleaning a lot faster and my mouth and gums do not feel sore afterwards. Their dentists are knowledgeable and never try to sell me on a procedure I do not need

After my cleaning another dentist came in to examine my teeth, but he first spent several minutes getting to know me.
