They reached out the following day for a checkup on me and i feel that said alot. If you get the juice (IV)...never use the word prick lol. Negative experience: I had a full mouth extraction in 2019 in which 30+ teeth were removed. They didn't give me the required amount of laughing gas as I woke up right before the procedure began and they didn't prescribe any pain medicine except Tylenol and a steroid... Very traumatic experience and would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: My bottom left wisdom tooth started bothering me about 2 weeks ago. I was amazed at how fast I was able to get in, I was fitted for a bottom denture 2 years ago at a different dentist office. There they just wanted to grind on the denture hoping to make it not rub. So I am hoping that in a month, I can wear my bottom plate for the first time. The procedure went smooth and my first day of recovery seems to be going very well. Thank You

Negative experience: Do not go here unless you want to be in pain for weeks. They dont answer the phone and they will tell you what you want to hear just so they don't have to deal with you any longer. This place has been the absolute worse. Go somewhere else that will actually take care of you.

Fantastic experience: Professional, efficient, and timing was perfect for completing and implant. Very good explanations of procedures and follow-up at the end of the surgery. It has been 32 hrs post-surgery and pain has been minimal and well controlled with medication. I will say there is so much that needs to be paid attention to post surgery in order to minimize possible complications and improve outcomes.

Fantastic experience: As someone with terrible anxiety at the dentist, I felt so at ease and comfortable coming into the office. I was immediately greeted with warmth and kindness by a staff member when entering the building. Post-op instructions were very clearly given verbally and on paper. I was introduced to everyone I made contact with and their role in my care was explained when they introduced themselves. I had a student on my case and he was also fantastic. He maintained eye contact while speaking with me and made me feel very at ease and confident in his care. Dr Steve was friendly and also straightforward. He explained the procedure thoroughly and made sure to answer any questions I had. I will absolutely be coming back to see Dr Steve and his amazing team!

My teeth/mouth has been a war zone my whole life, so this is very important to me. The staff was accommodating and answered all my questions. Dr. Steve explained everything to me in detail. He gave me his opinion on my issue then gave me options. Just hold on when he's explaining; you will realize quickly of his high intellect, but listen closely as he talks very fast. This was my first visit to this office. I will return if the need arises in the future. Highly recommend!

I ended up having a panic attack(embarrassing ) but they was SOO nice and helpful and helped it pass quickly 10+++ thank you all so much! The nurse who prepped me for surgery was amazing, the assistant the greeted me at the door and got my X-rays was very personable and friendly. Fantastic experience: I had severe tooth pain and came in just to make an appointment. However, the lady up front was so kind she got me in right away. The technician's were very careful, and they did a quick job of all the tests. I thought for sure the tooth was going to have to be pulled, but it was not necessary. The dentist was very polite and thorough in his exam. I would not the hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone. They all did a great job and took good care of me. Thanks to everyone there.

Fantastic experience: I was able to promptly schedule an appointment for a consultation regarding my need for a tooth extraction and a dental implant. Upon arrival at Dr. Steve Shufflebarger's office, I was greeted in a friendly way by Britney and Sarah. The office space uses dark gray colors and ultra-modern furniture. I felt that I had boarded the starship Enterprise! Cathy was the surgical assistant who interviewed me and asked health-related questions prior to Dr. Shufflebarger's seeing me. She also took my vital signs. She was very friendly, professional and generous with her time. She explained every detail about my upcoming dental implant procedure. Then "Dr. Steve" came into the examining room to talk with me. He was also friendly and professional which gave me confidence that I had chosen the right Oral Surgeon. He thoroughly explained every important point about the surgery and was generous with his time. I was very impressed with Dr. Steve and his staff and look forward to having the tooth extraction and dental implant in the near future. So far, it's "two thumbs up" for Dr. Steve Shufflebarger's practice. I recommend him highly! Update - February 28, 2024 I had a four-month follow-up appointment today after having had a tooth extraction and the implanting of a titanium screw in my jaw on November 6, 2023. These procedures went as planned with no complications. On every occasion, all staff members and Dr. Steve were friendly, thorough and professional. They took numerous X-rays to make certain that the implant was installed correctly and that my jaw bone was healing properly around it. I was essentially unconscious during the implant procedure and experienced no pain. My jaw was quite numb that day, as expected, and I experienced only minor discomfort for several days afterward. The follow-up exam was a positive experience, as well. I am scheduled for the installation of a "healing abutment" on March 27th. I am thoroughly satisfied with the work done so far. Dr. Steve and his professional staff are wonderful! Well into my oral surgery journey with them, I am still happy to highly recommend Dr. Steve Shufflebarger and his staff for your oral surgery needs! Update - October 10, 2024 One year into my relationship with Dr. Steve Shufflebarger's practice and I am still impressed every time I visit his office! Several months after my dental implant was completed, I began to experience a problem with the tooth (no one was at fault here). Dr. Steve and his staff have gone far above and beyond to ensure that I will have a fully-functional implant. The true test of any professional is how he/she deals with problems and adversity. Let me assure you that Dr. Steve stands behind his work and does everything possible to ensure procedural success and patient satisfaction. Update June 19, 2025 Dr. Steve has gone far above and beyond what is normally required to ensure my confidence and patient satisfaction. I am nearing the end of my journey under his care, and still believe that he MUST be one of the best practicing dentists and oral surgeons in the USA! My opinion is completely unbiased, as I neither had met Dr. Steve or any of his wonderful staff prior to my first appointment. My ONLY prior knowledge was that he accepted insurance coverage from my carrier. If you are in need of specialized dental care, i.e. dental extractions, implants, etc., schedule an appointment with Dr. Shufflebarger with confidence. I assure you that you will be in the very best of caring hands. Five stars and "two thumbs way up" for Dr. Steve and his staff. I could not recommend them to you more highly!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a complex case where a molar was anchored to her jaw bone. Her orthodontist tried to find a surgeon all around to remove it. Dr. Shufflebarger was the only one who would take on her case and said he has done more complicated cases. He did wonderful. He gave us worst case scenario and she was back to normal function within a week! He did an amazing job!

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous the day of, I mean uncontrollable nerves. The dr who did my sedation and the assistant were amazing. It was like having my friends there with me. I had some discomfort the night of, to be expected but the next day (today) nearly no pain at all. I had read reviews where alot of people had said the same, they had nearly no pain the next day and forward. It’s a process but I’m healing beautifully and highly recommend this office for all your oral surgery needs. This will be my go to for any figure work.

Fantastic experience: I just got my wisdom teeth removed (all four) plus an extra tooth that never came out. I’ll be honest I was very scared and nervous prior to coming here but I was also praying and knew that God will be with me and will give me peace through this. I was mainly nervous because I haven’t gotten a surgery since I was about two so I can’t remember how IV sedation worked so I was scared about that. Mind you, my veins aren’t the best. They hide. They are not visible. This week they had student training (I believe) and they were all licensed. I was a bit nervous for that too haha but I had already consented and knew they would be the one administering the anesthesia and Dr.Shufflebarger was the one that did the surgery. First of all everyone was very nice. All the nurses and doctors were EXTREMELY nice. Their kindness calmed be down from my anxiety that I was having. They explained everything to me. They explained how I would feel and they gave me instruction for after surgery care. I also made sure to ask as many questions and got answers to all of them. Dr.Shufflebarger explained everything again to me after the nurses and answered any questions I had. Then it was time to give me the sedation. What they did was they prepared me before the IV sedation and gave me other things to relax me. So when it was time to put in the IV I was pretty relaxed. I was still a little scared and nervous and I also kept praying in my head for me and for everyone involved in the surgery process. The student doctor that was administered the IV did a really good job with it. Also the nurse that was with him helping in case was very helpful as well. I had told them about my veins and they understood and were able to find them very well with no issues. (I had a terrible experience before at different hospital with getting blood work done because of my veins and my arm ended up all bruised up, that’s why I was pretty scared about this part) BUT I did not experience that here. They did a tremendous job and were very careful. I also must mention the nurse that was with me the whole time, I can’t remember her name but her good attitude and kindness helped me feel way better through this entire process. Once they put in the IV sedation, a few seconds later I blinked and opened my eyes again and they had finished with my surgery and it was time to go home. They explained everything to my mom about the aftercare and took me back to my car and everything was good. I am currently recovering and praying for a fast recovery I am very thankful to all the staff here and to everyone involved in my surgery. Thank you and God bless you all!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shufflebarger is an excellent oral surgeon in our community. His bedside manners and his expertise are top notch. He happens to have a wonderful support staff, they are skilled, reliable and very pleasant to deal with.

Fantastic experience: My daughter Brylee had her wisdom teeth cut out by Dr. Shufflebarger last week. Him along with his staff were all amazing! Brylee was a little nervous and we were greeted with warm friendly faces when we walked in. They did a great job of explaining the entire process and made Brylee feel a lot more comfortable. I was so reassured and comfortable from the moment I went in. The procedure was effortless and discomfort minimal. Fantastic experience: I wouldn’t recommend any other place if you need to be sedated to have a surgical procedure. Kelsey and Brittany are amazing assistants who listen and put you at ease. The nursing staff are all kind and proficient at starting your meds quickly with minimal discomfort. Dr Steve explained the procedure and allowed me to ask questions. It’s hard to imagine a place where it is done better! I highly recommend this office.
