Negative experience: I visited this dental office and found the interaction unnecessarily arrogant. The dentist introduced themselves by emphasizing their title, even though I hadn’t asked. If I’m in a dental clinic, I already assume everyone there is qualified. There’s no need to announce your title or try to set yourself apart from the rest of your team. What patients value most is humility, respect, and teamwork — not hierarchy or ego.

Fantastic experience: Dentist office is never a place I totally enjoy going to. But here they treat you so good. Had my teeth cleaned and they didn't just hurry and rush the process. They cleaned my teeth very well and I don't believe you could find any better place to go.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at this office. I waited almost 2 hours past my appointment time with no real explanation. When I was finally seen, the dentist was rushed and dismissive, even though I was clearly in pain. They tried to charge me for every little thing, including a fee for my x-rays—even though my insurance had already paid for them. When I called to get a second opinion, they still wanted to charge me to release them. I ended up having to go to urgent care a couple days later just to get relief. This place felt more focused on billing than actually helping me and it’s unfortunate because all of the positive reviews is what led me to come to this office.

Negative experience: For starters, I went in to get a tooth pulled. I have insurance and they said it was a $3 co-pay, cool! Dentist came in and wanted to do a CT scan. Now my co-pay went up to $272, not cool! Then, for the extraction, the lady came to me and says my co-pay is now $600. My insurance would pay $200 out of $800; $800 for a tooth extraction, really. I walked out, but before I did, I had to pay $272 for a CT scan. If I had the same problem 20 years ago, there would be no CT scan, why do I need one now. It's ABC, another bullshit charge. Just numb it and pull the tooth, simple. That's not $800 to do that. It's just one tooth. So, I left your office $272 poorer, and I still have a bad tooth in my mouth that's killing me. There is no way I'm paying $800 for a tooth extraction. That's unheard of. I believe I should be refunded my $272. I don't have that kind of money to just throw away. Now I'm in a bind financially because of this and I still have a bad tooth. What are you going to do about this?

Negative experience: We went to have my husband's tooth extracted. That didn't happen! They wanted $600 out of pocket to do it! And that's with dental insurance. Who can afford that?!! I know we can't! And i don't think most ppl can! We walked out paying $272 for a CT they said he MUST have and his tooth didn't even get pulled! That's ridiculous! They're crooks in my opinion!

Positive experience: I needed a tooth pulled, and got a next day appointment with Dr. Tapia, and he was quick with pulling the tooth, took maybe two minutes for the actual pulling. However, I didn't have insurance that would cover any of the procedure, and my fiancé came with me because he would be paying. They allowed him back at first, then sent him back to the waiting room once they did x-rays, and I asked for him to come back when they were discussing costs with me. He had to ask the front desk to let him back to discuss the costs, because no one went to get him again. All in all, my appointment took two hours (11-1) - I was in the waiting room for maybe 10 minutes, so it was fast getting me back there, but took a while to actually get the tooth pulled. They were very good with numbing the area, as opposed to dental offices I went to in the past. They even took a post-extraction x-ray to make sure the tooth was fully out. The only other complaint I have is I told the assistant, I don't remember her name or her actual position, I don't believe she told me either, she did the x-rays as well as the post appointment paperwork, that I have been prescribed 1.5g/day amoxicillin in the past for dental work, and it causes me issues, and that I need an antifungal to take alongside it. She said it shouldn't be an issue because they only prescribe 500mg amoxicillin. I get the prescription, and it's 500mg amoxicillin 3x a day.. which is 1.5g amoxicillin/day. For paying as much as we did, I wish they would have listened to me on that.

Positive experience: they were able to set an appointment quick but to actually start took a while. Staff was very polite but really too many to keep track of. bridge work done. I was put to sleep. lots of pain after.

Negative experience: The WORST dental experience, I've ever had. I went complaining about dental pain. This was my third visit. Each time, X-rays, and dental examinations were done. On this particular third visit, the Dentist Dr. Phillips, had her staff, do the typical examination. Once accessed, I was told that I needed a new crown, now mind you, it was a NEW crown, less than two months old, also I had a recent cleaning. Once the dentist started extracting the crown removal. She found that I had a cavity that was causing me the pain. Why wasn't this noticed on the exams, and why wasn't due diligence, put into place, these are GREAT questions, that had No suitable answers. The Dentist quickly left the room, .in comes the financial officer, trying to drain me for more $$$, never admitting to their negligence. What was more than obvious to me, was the obvious, insistence, to drain my bank account. Their error, not mine, wasn't important to them. It was painfully obvious, that the mistake was on their part. I ended up with a crown removal, tooth extraction. My Insurance allotment maxed for the year. I was charged for the Crown extraction and tooth removal. No charge credits were given for their mistake. When I walked to the front office, to exit, I could see the shock and horror look, on all of their front desk staff faces. They ALL understood their screw-up, but went on, like business as usual. A week later, I received a call from Cecilia (front desk staff), about a follow-up. I expressed my grave disappointment, that I received, and she basically, scolded me for not getting, the ‘suggested’ root canal, that was offered, after their mistake assessment glitch. (I'm a Quality Control Manager, I know how Quality should be Governed). Their lack of service and compassion has left me greatly disgruntled, to the point, that led me, to ask them to remove my name and charts, from their database. I will NEVER go back again. Lastly, again, their clear concern was to drain my bank account. I have full dental insurance, yet I was STILL charged $$$ for an extraction, that was covered and charged for a Crown removal, that was once again their ERROR! Ill end with these Two Words — NEVER AGAIN!!

Negative experience: Completely missed the pus coming out by my infected tooth. The girl taking the x rays clearly didn't know what she was doing and had to keep repeating the xrays . My insurance was charged for a half ass exam and xrays that didn't show anything, yet the second opinion I went to saw it immediately and was able to tell me what was wrong and what needed to be done.

Positive experience: This place is completely awesome. Gives u a blanket so you won't be cold and shivering. They are very attentive to your needs. They keep asking if you are ok. At anytime u feel pain they stop and numb it more. Only 1 complaint and I understand his ways of thinking of managing pain. But no matter what if u pull a tooth especially a major one they should give u pain pills. I mean with the money that is spent to have it pulled they should at least be helpful. I went last week but the tooth was to infected to pull but he tried. Sent me home with antibiotics to take. Went back this morning to have it pulled. And again no pain pills either time. And I understand that if u go and it's to infected they don't really need to give u pain pills because the antibiotics and the steroids help with the pain. But come on now after pulling who in their right mind would think it's ok to do Tylenol and Ibuprofen for pulling a tooth. I mean everything else cozy comfortable and professional. But it's like once they are done and u pay and outrageous amount of money. He could at least give u some for like 3 days to help with the worst days. Just because u ask doesn't make u a bad person nor addicted to pain pills. But in cases u just need some

Negative experience: Unfortunately, one of my worst experiences at a dental appointment. Services were performed poorly, some of the equipment was broken, and I was charged extra for services that have always been included at other dentists I have been to in the past. In addition, I was told my insurance covered everything except for this "extra" cleaning I needed. It was a glorified waterpik. Then I received a bill for another $100 on top of the $300 already paid for a cleaning. I have never spent so much money on basic services. I will not be returning and do not recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Had two teeth pulled by Dr. Phillips. She did an amazing job. I’d like to comment on just her mannerisms too, she’s so sweet, kind and caring. I love her so much and am so thankful for her caring to much! She really is an awesome dentist!

Negative experience: Seems like the Robinson Dental Group needs to standardize their work flow to avoid problems that I faced (and my wife) during multilple appointments. 1. Not polishing teeth before you clean them (silly I know) . 2. Not surprising up charges (or out pocket cost) mutliple times during the appointment while the appointment is already in progress. I understand there is a potential of out of pocket cost that insurance might not cover but that needs to be addressed prior to ANY work being started. For my last appointment, I have an in network insurance provider and was scheduled for a basic check up and cleaning, and have no issues with my teeth. I was immediately quoted an out of pocket cost for xrays (roughly $50). When I asked what the out of pocket cost was for, I was told I needed extensive xrays because she hadn't seen me in a year (again I have no issues with my teeth also she hasn't looked at my teeth yet at this point). After the xrays, I was again quoted another out of pocket cost for a cleaning because they believe my teeth needed extra cleaning around my retainer (I have had this retainer for over 7 years and never had this been told to me). The out of pocket costs now totaling close to $100. After leaving the appointment abruptly with no cleaning performed or xrays reviewed, Robinson Dental text and called claiming that I was incorrectly quoted costs, and then quoted me a lower out of pocket cost to have me come back. They were back tracking because I left upset. Overall, I'm not upset about the out pocket cost but the timing they were brought up. I felt forced and obligated to pay those out of pocket cost because I could not back out. I was told they are going to bill my insurance for my x rays even though they didn't even use them. I let my insurance know what they are doing so hopefully they will be able to prevent future issues from this Dental Group. I do not recommend.

Negative experience: Nothing was done for me. Now 368 dollars later iam going to another dds to maybe get help. Your dds don't try to help but they love getting your money. Will never happen again.

I called robinson an they asked if i could be there in an hour and they'll fix me up. They fixed me up & then some. Everyone was so nice & listened to me and made me feel so comfortable. Negative experience: I don’t understand the high reviews at all. I have had other family members seen here with the exact same experience. I left this place YEARS ago and as I’m leaving my wonderful dentists office today, I couldn’t help but think about why after YEARS, I still regularly see THREE separate dentists (2 specialists) because of Robinsons neglect. Let’s start off with letting you know I came in and said whatever they find I want fixed. Well, I was told that I “couldn’t be numbed” so I had to pay $1,800 just for anesthesia for fillings. Coincidentally the other family members “couldn’t be numbed” either, so they too had to be put under anesthesia. They are a sedation dentistry because of their horrible work and how painful it is. They are the ones that make you afraid of seeing a dentist. I have had a root canal done at a COMPLETELY different place and I felt less with the root canal than I did with my cleaning at Robinson. I have been numbed countless times by my 2 other dentists since leaving. Never once had an issue “being numbed” nor has any of the dentists I go to now heard of such a thing. The moment Robinson just started grinding on my teeth felt everything. I was terrified of the dentist because of the experience here. ONLY IN EXTREMELY RARE cases can you not be numbed. PLEASE DO NOT LET THEM CON YOU INTO ANESTHESIA!!!!!! A dentist of over 30 years had it happen TWICE. Check for yourself over there how many are being sedated! I now see an orthodontist, periodontist, and my regular dentist because of Robinson. Fixing what they did when I went in for fillings and cleanings. When I called after seeing real dentists, I called and explained that they are the only ones to ever claim that I “can’t be numbed”. The lady that answered the phone argued with me saying a lot of people can’t. Again, I felt NOTHING with my other dentist performing a root canal. It was so painful just for a cleaning from Robinson. I have spent over 10k because of the mess they created. The other family member went regularly and then had to go for an implant. Nobody would believe what they gave him for an implant. Literally looked like a piece of square gum. Did not match his tooth at all and he had to complain multiple times and of course, it’s always YOUR fault. Not theirs. I know these people that leave good ratings are either bots or they put their review for some kind of promotion. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! I do not know a single person that has anything good to say about them. They are one of the most expensive in town and hands down THE WORST. If you are looking for PTSD, they are the place! If you want a dentist that is knowledgeable, DO NOT COME HERE!

Fantastic experience: It was time for my cleaning!! Everyone is always so nice and smiling.. They make you feel so welcomed!! I absolutely love it!!! 10/10, definitely recommend!!!

Negative experience: I couldn't bring myself to return for my follow-up. I was comfortable and happy on my initial visit. I got x rays and a dental plan and was so comfortable I actually fell asleep. I needed an extraction and was given the numbing agent. I was numb and ready for the procedure until an hour passed. Then I'm given a booster in one area of my mouth because its no longer completely numb. 45 minutes later that area is still numb but the rest of my tooth is not numb enough anymore. Mind you, at this point it's been an hour and 45 minutes from my whole mouth being given the numbing agent and when the hygienist gave me the test i was complely numb and only felt pressure as i was supposed too.. So at this point some one from accounts or financing tells me I'm not responding to the numbing agent and need to reschedule and pay for the same procedure again. I tell her how long between numbing agent and attempt and she explains that I should be numb enough for an extraction for 3 HOURS or MORE after the numbing shot. After a moment it's clear to me that she believes if you're face and lips are numb you are numb enough for a tooth extraction. REALLY??? Since she is the only person talking to me at this point and I'm actually getting upset because she's talking to me like I'm an idiot I leave and am unlucky enough for her to answer the phone and repeat the same nonsense in a more condescending tone when I call back. Before I called back I talked to my primary care doctor who told me no matter the numbing agent used my tooth is only numb enough for an extraction for an hour or two and it's completely normal for effects to be wearing off in as little as 45 minutes, definitely when approaching the 2 hour mark. But since I was speaking with someone who was talking to me like I was mentally challenged I didn't waste my time or breathe any longer. It's a shame because I was extremely happy with the location and did not mind waiting longer or rescheduling but having someone in accounts telling me that I should be numb enough for "HOURS" and "I waited over an HOUR and I was numb for MYYY procedure and still numb for 3 HOOOURS after that..." just completely ruined what was a stellar visit. I'm very understanding but when I'm met with complete disregard for anything I say it's maddening.
