Fantastic experience: I took my grandson for his visit today as soon as you hit the door you are greeted with a smile and it was down to business. They was professional, organized and on time. The staff was ready to help and direct. The environment was clean and what I like is they put gloves on when they came in to start the procedure. The doctor Dr Ali and her Dentist Asst. Lemis made us all comfortable and enjoyable. She explained everything she was doing, and the results. I will recommend, I wish they served adults.

Positive experience: Great dentists and great hygienists. I get harrased with calls and emails and text messages and when i arrive on time, I am waiting 15 minutes to an hour after my appointment time. I'd rather my child and I be in a waiting room with other families who aren't cussing. Front desk staff is looking right at our info but just can't be bothered to call me ma'am or by my last name: "dont call me 'mom', I am not your mom". I tried because they are close to the school and the home, but I eventually left to have a better experience.

Fantastic experience: The team at Adventure Dental provided exceptional support in assisting me with an autistic child, facilitating a smooth transition for the child to receive their glasses while I completed the necessary paperwork. Their compassion was evident throughout the process.

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff and a very clean environment

Negative experience: I had an appointment for my child at 4:30 PM and arrived at 4:34 PM. When we got to the clinic, there were two people checking in ahead of us, so I waited in line for about two minutes before being called to the left-side desk. Once I spoke with the front desk lady, she told me our appointment had been canceled because we were late. I understand the importance of being on time, but it was disappointing that arriving just a few minutes past the scheduled time, and waiting in line to check in, resulted in a canceled appointment. Many offices allow a short grace period, so this experience felt frustrating. I hope the clinic can be a bit more flexible and understanding with families in similar situations in the future.

I never have any issues when visiting this location and the front desk is just as amazing as the team in the back!! My kids will always be clients!

I felt relieved when a couple of the workers helped me with selecting my nephew's glasses. As a retired teacher, I was impredded with how the staff dealt with our precious little ones. I will definitely recommend other family members and friends here!

Fantastic experience: I simply love this place. It used to stress me out. I’m gonna keep it real however it got much better. Customer Service is T. He fixed my daughter‘s glasses off a wing and a prayer. Definitely recommend … office manager is T as well. We love him but seriously keep up the good work.

Negative experience: Very confusing. Went on the website it asked how many kids am I bringing in. Then the site automatically chose for the appointment for myself. Despite me selecting 3 children option. (This is where the confusion starts) First off I didn’t select MYSELF option. But giving that assuming am a child scheduling an appointment for myself why are they asking me how many kids I’m bringing with me that part alone does not make sense. Im scheduling somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I was a whole day early for my appointment and the gentleman at the front was so accommodating and super professional and so nice ,the tiny Asian lady hygienist was so kind and patient. I 100 percent recommend taking your kids to dental here.

Positive experience: They usually arr great but when I needed to speak with someone the front desk worker wasn't answering any phone calls I had to leave work early due to this it was very inconvenient and unprofessional I will say I was pleased when they called to explain and apologize for not being available when I needed them so I decided to change my review they are usually on point when it comes to customer care

Negative experience: They cancelled my appointment without getting in touch with me. I took time off work, got my kids out of camp, drove over there, and then found out. Plus its like a little kid dental factory. Horrible experience and horrible service.

Negative experience: Find another location! The wait times at this location are absolutely unacceptable. It’s frustrating to arrive early or on time for an appointment, only to sit in the waiting area for over an hour, then finally be called back—just to wait another 30+ minutes. This has happened multiple times. It’s unprofessional and reflects poorly on how the office is managed. It might be time to re-evaluate the scheduling system and provide additional training to staff, because the current process is clearly not working. Ghetto and unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at this establishment, and Mr Washington was very professional and helpful. He also went above and beyond to assist me and make things happen to accommodate us along with the staff Dr Love and her assistant thank you all for meeting the needs of my family.

Negative experience: There is no point in making appointments at this location. They will have you waiting damn near two hours to get seen. Staff do not communicate and the attitudes are terrible. Please choose a different location for your needs.

Fantastic experience: They were nice and fast! The doctors and receptionists were really polite! My daughter had a dentist appointment at 11:30 and they were able to see me at 11:10. I also had vision appointment the same day at 3:30 for my daughter and they were able to see me at 12:30!

Fantastic experience: I love how helpful Darnell was. He help explain to me what specifics were on my child prescriptions such as PD and how the uv special coating would benefit her. We even received a great turn around appointment for her yearly exam. I appreciate him and the other staff members that helped as well.

Fantastic experience: My son had an eye appointment at the Rhode Island location and the staff that he worked with was VERY VERY HELPFUL & friendly. My son is on the spectrum so Ms. Eymis and Ms. Amani worked overtime to help me with my son when he started his meltdowns!! Then we met Dr. Diana and Mr. Kevin where they were amazing with helping me get my son’s eyeglass prescription. They were all so patient and kind to us. It was truly amazing I appreciate their help and support! We will be returning!!

Negative experience: They are famous for over booking, they don't take your complaints seriously. They book as many people as they can in one day. It's about the money not the care. I think I'm finally frustrated enough after years of endurance to find a new dentist! Please don't be like me and waste years of your life paying to receive improper care!

Fantastic experience: One of my students broke their frames at school. As their teacher, I called and explained and within 2 hours they were able to find replacement frames at no cost and help the student out. This student could not afford new frames. I asked around and many of my families use Adventure Dental + Vision and they all had amazing things to say. They are amazing. Give them a shot. Great customer service and they make the families feel welcome with a host of wraparound services for dental and vision.

Fantastic experience: Lenis is AWESOME. I love to see when she’s on the office, if it was up to me I would only have her in the room assisting if it was up to me. My children have been going here for years and she’s part of the reason why! She’s a bright face, makes my children feel very comfortable and she has great customer service.

Negative experience: Came to the dentist for an 11:00am appointment and watch everyone in the lobby be called except my client. My client have not been seen since enter the dentist at 10:50. It's been more than an hour and the client have not been seen. Avoid this dentist if you can.

Negative experience: Wait times are horrible, I would vouch to shut this place down. They don’t care for the kids or parents. I’ve waited over an hour for my appointment & when I explained to the young lady at the front desk I have another appointment to make. There was no concern or urgency. The doctors don’t care cause long as people come they get paid. I definitely will say they need to shut this place down.

Fantastic experience: It was very organized and slightly fast paced and well organized kept cleaning after every patient and the front desk was very on point even though rushing they would all say excuse mom or please stand there ...don't go no where and I guess I just had to get use to their way instead the one on Georgia Ave is totally slow paced but was friendly also.

The staff was very professional and friendly, office was clean, the front desk staff provided crayons and coloring sheets to the kids waiting and had TV playing, and they have a vision side as well. 10/10 recommend! Negative experience: this office need to do better with scheduling patients. my appointment was for 4:00pm i arrived 30 minutes early. didn’t get called to the back until 4:35pm. no one came into the room until 4:52pm i didn’t leave until 5:30pm. entirely to long. this isn’t the first time i’ve waited this long to be seen.

Fantastic experience: My child had an emergency appointment today and the entire staff was amazing from beginning to end! Starting with my wonderful greeting from Darnell at the front desk his warm smile and friendly demeanor really set the tone. Dr. Ali and her assistant was wonderful and really took care of my child. We went ahead and got a vision test as well but seriously the ENTIRE visit was wonderful and I’m so glad I’ve established care here for my daughter. We love adventure dental!!!

Not to mention that I have a special needs child and she took her time with my child. I really loved how she was with my child and didn’t rush the appointment. Fantastic experience: First, Adventure Dental and Vision is the only place in DC that makes glasses for Medicaid patients. That being said, I was treated like I was paying cash. The wait was short; I was in-and-out in 30 minutes. Amani was the CSR. She was professional and very courteous. Eymis fitted me for my frames. She was patient and professional. The entire staff was so accommodating; shout out to Darnell, Kevin & Mhret! My glasses look and feel great! Keep up the great work!!!

Fantastic experience: i came in to make an appointment the other day. having bad experiences in previous places, i came in a bit reluctant. but the lady at the front, cindy explained everything wonderfully for me. truly an amazing staff member. don’t normally write reviews but felt like i should here!!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time taking my grandsons to this Adventure Dental in this area. All of the staff was so awesome. I had two visit with 3 out of 6 of my grandsons and each visit was wonderful. The staff was so caring and concerned. I will be taking 2 more grandsons next week, and we are looking forward to it. This will be there permanent Dental and Vision Care Facility. Thank you guys so much!

Fantastic experience: This is the best eye exam in the DC area. Low wait time for appointments, and to be seen the office. You can also walk in if you have a prescription to receive glasses. The selection for insurance paid frames are stylish. The best part of this place is the Customer Service by Darnell the manager and his staff. Darnell sets the tone in his office for exceptional customer service and a professional work environment. Service ages 20 and under for exams but any age can get glasses if you have your own prescription.

Negative experience: This place is not equipped to handle or cater to children who are medically fragile and have special needs. I took my son there for the first time, and it was clear they were not accustomed to serving children like him. The dentist took a long time to attend to us, and when she finally did, she seemed hesitant and afraid to clean his teeth. Her assistant then sprayed water into his mouth, despite knowing that my son is NPO (nothing by mouth). Thankfully, my son didn’t choke. In my previous experiences, dentists and assistants would use a wet gauze to gently wipe his mouth, which was much safer and more appropriate. Another issue was their lack of understanding regarding my son’s insurance. Shortly after the appointment, I received a letter stating that the claim for dental services had been denied. This place also offers eyeglass services, so I decided to have my son’s glasses filled there as well. Unfortunately, that process was equally frustrating. The staff seemed unknowledgeable, and despite my son’s appointment being on 10/4/24, it is now 12/5/24, and we are still without glasses. This facility clearly needs significant improvements. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, as this is not the right place for us.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here. Ray, Mhret, Amon and Cindy all made me feel welcome. I got there at 430 on Black Friday. They close at 5pm. They all helped me pick out my glasses and we got done at 455. AT NO TIME DID I FEEL RUSHED OR A HINDERANCE TO THEIR DAY! Thank you guys for the patience.
