Fantastic experience: Extremely friendly and very competent from reception to dental hygienist and dentists, as well as other staff. Only scheduled for 6 month checkup, but on finding a small cavity they were able to work me in and take care if it within 30minutes. Highly recommend Arrow Dental

Negative experience: On 10/01/25, my experience wasn’t a positive one; for some reason my insurance could not be verified. I called my insurance company and they verified it was active. The lady that gave me an estimate of my dental work was rude, condescending and treated me as if I was nothing. I was very upset and she just handed me my bill and just starred at me. I was in pain but she showed no concern. One of the other ladies at the front found where my insurance was active and I can say she was very nice, and I really appreciated her for that. Finally, I will never go there again or advise anyone else to go.

Fantastic experience: My crown broke on a Friday and I was able to get in to see the dentist on Monday. ( all the other dentist offices were closed for the weekend). They were the only dentist office that offered me an appointment that fast. The wait wasn’t long. They were very kind and apologetic for having me wait for the procedure to proceed. Negative experience: I am upset that we paid almost $600 then not even 3 days later it the tooth broke again. When you have a professional business you have to treat it that way. However after returning a few days later they want us to pay another $1000. Definitely not professional work or acknowledge that the product was faulty and did not fix the problem. Not happy with the service we have received.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, complimentary welcome gift as a new patient, procedure was very quick, and they offer a complimentary snack when leaving. They don’t file Medicaid for adults, but pricing was very reasonable for self pay.

Negative experience: The most disturbing experience EVER. Office manager was extremely RUDE. I contacted the office as soon as they opened, due to a filling coming out causing the tooth to fracture. I stated that my visit would be self pay and ask for the fees for X-rays and procedures. The manger neglected to provide all options of the different routes that we could take in order to receive the proper care. Manager only provided information of the Dr. visiting fee of $95 and X-ray of one tooth of $37. I,THE CUSTOMER, was not provided with any additional information on the current promotions or savings that would allow me to receive more preventative care as well as corrections for the problem. Once I was informed that they had some specials that would allow a cleaning and X-ray of all teeth for $109, I requested to receive that deal instead of paying $132 just to tell me that the tooth was chipped. The manager stated that I would have to be rescheduled if I wanted the cheaper option. I,then requested to speak with the doctor and was denied to speak with him, asked to leave, and was told that if I refused to leave the authorities would be called. Not one time, did she ask Dr. Johnston to come and speak to me or apologize for not fully educating a self pay customer. Note this is a dentist that our family spends thousands of dollars with for cosmetic dental work. I never raised my voice, got belligerent, out of character, or made any other patients uncomfortable during the time I was there. This was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever encountered in the dental world. I highly doubt not recommend this office to anyone unless their office managerial staff has been reevaluated.

Negative experience: I’m surprised by all the 5-star reviews, because our experience at Arrow Dental, particularly with Dr. Johnston, was terrible. When our 8 year old daughter accidentally fell and hit her mouth on a brick surface on a Sunday evening, we had to take her to a different dentist since her usual dentist was not going to be in the office the following Monday. They referred us to either Arrow Dental or Apple Dental. We called both places and Arrow was able to get us in sooner, so we went there. The office staff was very kind and helpful so I’ll give them that, but Dr. Johnston’s bedside manner was the worst. He was practically yelling at my daughter to bite down and telling her “that doesn’t hurt” even though she was clearly crying in pain. Finally after looking at the x-rays he told us there was nothing he could do until the swelling in her teeth went down. He told us to come back in a week for a sensitivity test to see if her teeth were still viable, and just use a cold or warm compress until then. You seriously expect an 8-year-old child to go a whole week in discomfort without doing anything? Thankfully we kept our later appointment with Apple Dental and the dentist there was MUCH better and more professional. He actually bonded her teeth back into place and prescribed her some antibiotics. It was still painful (even with anesthesia) but at least he showed our daughter some compassion. The difference between the two dentists was night and day. We will never go back to Arrow Dental after our experience there. My advice is that if you do need to take your children here, make sure you request their other dentist as Dr. Johnston is NOT good with children at all.

Fantastic experience: My experience was 10/10! Mrs.Patricia was wonderful she explained everything thoroughly. Denise was great she was super gentle doing X-rays. Mrs.Racheal came in gave me the best dental treatment in plan and super sweet! Most definitely so glad I found their office. Everyone in the office was super sweet with great attitude.

Negative experience: Told them about my pain basically ignored it. They think everyone trying to get pills. That’s not the case with me. Told me a root looks little funny . If it looks funny it’s feeling funny. After cleaning now my bottom right is in pain.

Fantastic experience: Have been going to Arrow Dental for about 15 years and Dr Johnston is the best. Root Canal no pain and quick . His staff is the best. You are welcomed from the beginning and always get the royal treatment.

Negative experience: As I have been a patient of this practice for the last few years, everyone in the office is extremely nice and professional but after my experience with Dr Johnston this past week I will not be returning to the practice! He is the RUDEST and not a nice person at all! He pulled a tooth for me and was very rude , mean and used excessive force on me while this was going on never once was he concerned about how I was feeling or my level of total discomfort! When it was finally over he didn’t say a dang thing to me and walked out of the room As a dentist if his experience and years of being in his profession you would think he would have developed some compassion skills and a ounce of bed size manners but that he doesn’t have either one I guess I wasn’t spending enough money in there for him to treat me with any kind of respect or an ounce of compassion! And I will share my experience with others ! ✌️

The lady at the front desk took it upon herself to find my insurance and make sure everything was taken care of. Every person here made the experience a good one. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Arrow Dental Center!! It is well worth the drive from Hamburg, Arkansas. Everyone in the place is super nice! Every visit has been great. The prices are reasonable. Recently I had a tooth abscess over Easter weekend. First thing on Monday I called (a little before 8 a.m.) and told her what was going on and she gave me an appointment for 10:30 a.m. I arrived a few minutes early and by 10:40 a.m. my visit was complete and I was back on the road.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to switch dentists because the one I was going to always did my cleaning, said I needed 2 fillings, did the fillings and repeat every six months and it was always expensive. The dental hygienist at Arrow Dental actually took care of me and wanted to help solve problems instead of just an expensive solution. And it only cost $32! I was in complete shock. She was so sweet and explained everything very well. I will definitely continue to go there.

Negative experience: The dentist was absolutely a peach but that front office staff is awful!!!!! I had my initial appointment which included the exam that resulted in me needing some dental treatment. I spoke with the front office several times to figure up how much my payment would be for my first treatment (on the right side of my mouth). It was $313.00. Well a couple weeks later I get a letter in the mail about a balance owed of $287 so I call the office. The office manager tells me it’s showing a balance of $0 on her end and that I should disregard. Well the letters don’t stop and now I’m being threatened with collection. I’m still trying to figure out where the balance even came from!!! My recommendation to you is find a dental office that is patient and not money hungry people who is guessing when it comes to your finances. My new dental office explained the type of insurance I have and is sending my treatment plan off to find out FOR SURE what they are paying and what portion I’ll have to cover myself prior to treatment.

Fantastic experience: I had 3 teeth extracted today and I was so nervous. They were so gentle with me the dentist talked me through the process to make me feel better and someone even held my hand the whole time. They were awesome! I definitely recommend this dentist office!

Negative experience: The doctors and the hygienist were the absolute best but the people in the front office continued to get me mixed up with another Jennifer. They would call me for her appointments and use the wrong insurance. I have insurance as well as my husband for myself and my children . They completely disregarded my son’s insurance and charged me for his dental work out of pocket more often than not due their mishaps. They even tried to charge me for my husbands having an appointment and he has never visited but after I informed them of that then they said,” oh I’m sorry ma’am you’re right we must have logged that name from the insurance card.” That made no sense to me. I’m looking for a new dentist. I really hate that because I loved the actual dental service. Bummer!

Fantastic experience: After 40 years of using the same Dentist, I was very hesitant about changing. Both my children used the same dentist until they left home. As we age the insurance companies think that we don't care about how we look and feel. Well, I'm here to tell you that we do. The dentist office did not accepted the insurance that the company changed too. So I sought around and choose Arrow Dental. They have been great. They are very friendly and personal and treat you like family. I would recommend them for whatever dental work you require.
