I had occasion to transfer to West Prairie Dental from my dentist in Illinois last year after he retired. Dr McKenna took my rather complicated case. It didn't take long to realize that I had made the right choice. Dr. McKenna and his extremely capable staff have not only proven themselves, but far exceeded my expectations. Their caring, demeanor and professional knowledge of every aspect of their field has been comforting to say the least. I just cannot tell you how lucky I was to find this Dental facility !! Fantastic experience: Dr. Zerbian was absolutely amazing! she gives you suggestions based on you own personal situation and plenty of options. She was great with explaining everything to make sure you understand what's needed and what has been done, her staff was also a pleasure to talk to. Alex was great, her skills are second to none. Morgan was extremely good with her dental hygienist knowledge and personal approach. Will recommend them to anyone! Needless to say I will keep coming back for my dental needs. Update, October 2025; once again just to reassure how great and wonderful Dr. Brooke Zerbian and her staff is. My kids (11 and 9 year olds) liked her too, they said she was really good and they want to go back to her, a little Culver’s treat card afterwards never hurts from a kid’s point of view

Fantastic experience: Update 9/16/25 - Had to come in and have a filling replaced from 15 years ago. Dr McKenna performed the procedure and was the utmost professional, explained everything that was happening as he was operating. Filling is fixed, no post procedure pain and bite is completely normal. Will never go anywhere else but here for my and my families dental needs. A++++ Experience

Fantastic experience: I’ll keep this review simple. West Prairie Dental is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. The office and patient rooms are all clean. It seems like they have the latest dental equipment. Everyone is extremely helpful and professional from the receptionists, my hygienist, and my dentist.

Fantastic experience: In an untimely way my upper front tooth completely broke away at the gumline during the holidays. But thanks to West Prairie Dental they were able to get me in ASAP and fitted me with a temporary tooth. Dr. M explained what had to be done and a more permanent solution will be done at a later date.

Fantastic experience: I walk very slowly with two arm canes due to my disability. The people here gladly provide assistance with a wheelchair. Everyone is so consistently friendly and caring. Amy does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. I also saw Dr. Tanner today and my appointment was still completed in less than an hour. I highly recommend West Prairie Dental clinic.

I decided to switch to a privately owned office at West Prairie dental and discovered what I have been missing. The most friendly and caring staff I have ever experienced. They are very thorough and go above and beyond. I trust them and will never go anywhere else!!

Fantastic experience: Dana was very accommodating when I came in for a last minute appointment. I was fasting that day for religious purposes, which included water, and she was efficient and helpful to ensure I ingested as little water as possible. Very appreciative for her efforts!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to West Prairie Dental for a few years now. The staff are kind and it’s always been a good experience for me as far as dentist appointments go. My two year old just had his first appointment and it went so well! I was nervous but Wendy was fantastic. She was friendly, excited, and moved quickly for a toddler’s attention span. My son loves the token for the prize tower and we got a cute first visit photo. He left feeling very happy (which made me happy too).

Fantastic experience: I had tooth pain and they got me in the same day I called. When I arrived they did an x-ray immediately and spent time explaining what they found and recommended. The front desk did all the work getting me an appointment for a needed root canal and took care of everything. All of the staff was very helpful.

Fantastic experience: First time there as a new patient, so wonderful. The DDS and hygienist were great, very thorough. I was about a half hour early and I was roomed within 2 minutes and the exam began. The massaging chairs were also an unexpected, but lovely addition to nobodies-favorite-appoinment. I scheduled my 6 month follow up straight after. I look forward to returning.

Positive experience: You know dental work has a reputation of being unpleasant and the truth is that some things are very unpleasant! I will say the team at West Prairie Dental goes out of their way to may the unpleasant as pleasant as they possibly can. From my exam chair massaging me to music to continual communication about the process it made my procedure bearable!

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience today. I’m normally quite anxious about dental appointments. Even though I had a couple cavities taken care of, my pain was very well managed (as in no pain), every step was explained to me with frequent checking to make sure I was good. Probably the first appointment - outside of a cleaning - I’ve had in years that I didn’t leave with sore hands from a death grip on the armrests.

They welcome you, make you feel very comfortable and relaxed and always have and make a friendly conversation. Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, and Dr. Zerbian is the best dentist I've been seen by. She is thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate. New information: Dr. Zerbian was able to suspect the need for a root canal with me describing my symptoms and performing the "cold" test. The dentists at my previous clinic were dismissing my symptoms. I just got the root canal done at the endodontist clinic. If it wasn't for her, I would have encountered bone loss in future with all the consequences. Highly recommended dental office!
