Fantastic experience: 5 STARS FOR GRACE AND THE OTHER LADY WORKING WITH GRACE AT FRONT DESK, made my appointment while i was getting my braces changed really kind and sweet great attitude for a busy day

Negative experience: My wife brought our son here. All I can say is seems like a bunch of chat GPT orthodontist with no real knowledge/ no people skills.. Stay clear of this place!

Positive experience: Maribel was very friendly, professional and accommodating. The environment was clean and warm. The orthodontist was conosending and hasty with her explanation. Felt like she was rush the process. She took off the expander with letting my husband know. She wanted a tooth to be extracted but the oral surgeon said they should be able to force the tooth in because there is enough space. She seemed too be annoyed that we listened to the advice of the oral surgeon. Bedside manner is important. She spoke hasty and seemed to be annoyed by my clarifying questions.

Fantastic experience: Zeamira is the best!!! She’s super sweet, 100% recommend !

Negative experience: Each time I bring my child here, we see a different orthodontist. It feels like there’s a constant rotation of providers, almost like a revolving door. I’m not sure if this location is part of a residency program, but there never seems to be a consistent doctor, which makes it difficult to build rapport and continuity of care.

Fantastic experience: Going to ISmile in White Plains is a pleasure. My daughter Chloe has been going there. She is special needs and they always help her. They are quick hardly never a long wait .. the doctors and assistants are respectful and courteous. The front desks assistants greet you with a smile.. especially Maribelle, she is kind helpful and listen to the clients . Thank you Maribelle and Ismile.

My first visit was on May 19, scheduled rather last-minute due to an urgent need for a retainer before I was traveling. I couldn’t be more grateful - not only was the retainer ready within just a couple of days, but I also received a thoughtful list of professional recommendations. And to be clear, it wasn’t about upselling - it was genuine, helpful advice tailored to my needs. From start to finish, I felt truly cared for by the entire team. The staff were not only highly professional but also warm, welcoming, and attentive. If you’re looking for an orthodontic practice that combines clinical expertise with a human touch, I wholeheartedly recommend iSmile Orthodontics.

Negative experience: The office is nicely designed, which is why I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1. However, the service was disappointing. My son had Invisalign, which was very expensive. I was told he would likely need them for 12 to 18 months because of the condition of his bite but he only wore them for 9–10 months. Despite this, I had to pay the full price for two years which felt like a rip-off. I asked for a partial refund, but they refused. He wasn’t seen for more than 10 months . When I called them for a follow up they said his service was complete, and I don’t believe that’s fair and professional. If I had known this could happen, I would have asked for a different payment plan — one that didn’t charge me for two years of service! It feels like a scam, and I’m very disappointed.

Negative experience: Go elsewhere, don’t be fooled by the promotions. Major staffing issues .

Negative experience: Honestly was having a great experience here until recently. 1st they cancel an appointment due to an “overdue payment”. Called to have this looked into said they would call back the same day and never did. I had to call multiple times the next day before getting a response. 2nd I was told my appointment was at a certain time one day that had been “cancelled” because of their mistake, day of the appointment they tell me the time was different that I was late and no appointments for over a month. On top of this, this office specifically has been sending me texts regarding another patient. Complete unprofessional to be continuously sending me another patients information.

Negative experience: We waited almost two hours. No one cared. No one spoke to us and no one moved too quickly after a 90 minute lunch. Looking into other orthodontist. Btw, the MANAGER ANNETTE sat there silent THE WHOLE TIME - to a standing room only waiting room! Our time is not as important as their 90 minute lunch.

Fantastic experience: I got my braces 15 years ago here when it used to be on church st. Now that i have children i brought my boys here. My boys went for a consultation. Nicolas was very professional and patient with my boys. The orthodontist was very informative and one of my sons only got approved. My other son has to wait for another reevaluation in 6 months from now. I was so happy how quick insurance approved it in about a week. I got the phone call of approval and in a couple days my son got his braces. He is still getting used to it. He was sore for a couple days and hated them lol i know the pain personally but proud mommy that he got them at an early age. The back of his wires came out and i got same day appointment to get them fixed so definitely love that service. Still amazing how i remember it back in the day. I recommend this place. Had a great experience!

Negative experience: I want to preface this by saying i’m aware that one bad review won’t do anything. I’m also really late to this as i got my braces removed my senior year of high school and now im a senior in college but it should speak volumes if im coming back years later to say something. They have this thing where if you leave a good review you get a reward like a gift card but that’s not my issue. Where do i start? When i first got my braces they immediately broke off, not because i was being careless but because after 5 appointments of putting them back on, someone had the decency to say “these are on upside down” which i didn’t even know was possible! the wait times were egregious, if i had an appointment at 3, i’d be there till 5. there was this one lady who would scold me for the individual brackets breaking off and yanked my cheeks and pulled on my head very violently. I was always scared of even just checkups, even if nothing was broken or wrong, just because of the hostile environment they created. Finally when i did get my braces off, i went in to pick up my retainers in which they said i had to call before hand. no problem there, that’s my fault. when i did call however, i was hung up on. i called again because i thought it could’ve been an honest mistake. NOPE. It took about 5 calls for me to just give up and even my brother who also had gotten his braces taken off at the time went in to ask but they told him they couldn’t discuss my individual needs as i’m a separate patient yet they gave him his retainers with no issue whatsoever. here i am, almost out of college, thousands of dollars down the drain, and no retainers.

Negative experience: I’m really disappointed with Melissa Alvarez, she is in charge for invisaglins in white plains NY 10601. She has no idea how to respect customers. My daughter went in for a checkup alone because I was working. Melissa Alvarez walks into the room with an attitude asking my daughter if she came with a parent. My daughter said no and thought it was okay since she gone alone in the past before. Also, she is 18 years old. Melissa Alvarez had the audacity to say to my daughter, “Okay but who paid for your Invisalign’s?” excuse me? it was the disrespect she gave to my daughter. Melissa Alvarez explained how she couldn’t do anymore treys of Invisalign’s because it’s already been five years. If she gave RESPECT and wasn’t being NASTY to my daughter, everything would have been fine. I had to come in eventually, mind you I left my job to speak to this women, to hear what she had to say but she decided to give me an attitude AS WELL! Ridiculous and very UNPROFESSIONAL. I told her to show some respect and she started making faces towards ME. ACT LIKE A CHILD. I wanted to report this, but she said she is the head for Invisaligns here and stated it in a cocky way. Clearly, she needs to be replaced. I then spoke to my daughters dentist, (who was very professional and kind) so she could check her teeth. But Melissa’s presence in the room made us uncomfortable. The dentist was explaining to my kid another choice for Invisalign’s but I could heard Melissa in the background speaking to a different dentists asking what was for lunch! I told her to leave the room. Learn how to respect your customers. and don’t be rude to the kids when parents aren’t able to make it to the appointments.

Positive experience: this is a good orthodontist, went there recently and the lady at the front desk is rude she skinny and short the look on her face like she doesnt want to be there snd has smart come backs to simple questions. but the rest of the people there are nice and are good vibes

The staff is really good, the facility is super clean and all the doctors and specialists are so nice. Wesley is very professional and friendly. He always makes me feel comfortable and always asks before I leave if there’s a wire sticking out or poking the inside of my mouth to ensure everything is correct before I get up from the chair. I appreciate that. You won’t regret getting work done here or sending your family and friends here.

Was told they were gonna check with my insurance to see if the work is going to cover and give me a call back once everything was in place. My insurance approved but never received a phone call from the orthodontist to schedule an appointment
