I would definitely recommend this practice and would give 10 stars ⭐️if I could . It has state of the art technology, and all of the staff are pleasant , friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: I recently had a dental emergency, and after not visiting a dentist for 27 years, I was understandably nervous. Thankfully, I found Dr. Eagan and his assistant Pam; my experience with them was exceptional. They immediately put me at ease when I walked into the office. Both were incredibly understanding and patient, taking the time to explain every step of the process. They acknowledged my fears and reassured me with their calm, professional demeanor, making what could have been a stressful experience so much more comfortable. I highly recommend Dr.Eagan and Pam for their compassionate and skilled approach.

Negative experience: HIPAA VIOLATION. SEE BELOW MAJOR EDIT TO MY INITIAL REVIEW, PLEASE READ: This office is amazing! I was on the hunt for a new dentist and I’m certainly glad I picked this office. My experience was wonderful and I will def be going back for all of my dental needs. Edit: This practice has really gone downhill. When I first visited I thought I’d have a dentist forever. However, the new practitioners, other than Chris himself are horrible, especially Dr. DaSilva. She is condescending and thinks the whole thing is one big game for her amusement. When I go in there, I don’t feel like I am visiting a dentist office, but rather a used car dealer. She pressures you into spending big money and can’t understand when you don’t have it (must be nice). I once caught her rolling her eyes at me to another employee (she thought I didn’t see it). The rest of the staff is fine, but complicit in making you feel like you are buying a used car instead of going to the dentist. They must be hurting for money now that the did all of those big renovations. If you have to go to the dentist in the Somerset area, I’d pick some place else. If you have to go there for some reason, stay away from Dr.(sort of) DaSilva. *Another Edit - On top of it all, they clearly don't care about HIPAA. My personal and financial information in relation to my care should never be posted on the internet, simply because he did not appreciate my review. Another example of how incompetent this office is. I will be reporting this...

Positive experience: I've been here twice now. Everyone has been really nice and professional. I'm only giving 3 stars because yesterday I had some fillings done. I was 10mins early for my appointment at 4PM. By 4:02 they had numbed me and then left the room for the novocaine to kick in. They didnt end up starting till about 4:35. Not a huge deal, but it does suck waiting over 30min. Part of the reason I switched from Aspen Dental to here is because I was tired of the long wait times. Also I have an angular cheilitis (fancy term for cracked corner of the mouth kinda like a blister) on the right side of my mouth where they were working. I felt it happening as they were doing the fillings they were using some metal object to pull my mouth open so wide and in so many directions. I'm sadly no stranger to dental work and I've never left the dentist with a painful blister like this before. Again not a huge deal, but frustrating having a painful and visible blister on your face. I am getting more fillings done in September and will gladly delete this review if the process runs timely and smoother.

Fantastic experience: Very Clean and professional They were very informative about my future care.Would recommend this practice anytime. I can't say enough how helpful this practice is. My visit was a 2nd opinion for some extensive mouth care needless to say the original dentist I was seeing has been replaced with Vanderpool Dental Care. If your uncertain about your current dentist don't hesitate give them a try.

Fantastic experience: I was recently seen for my annual and Dr. Vanderpool mentioned that he could fix a small chip I had in my front tooth (it was an insecurity of mine). There was a cancellation and I was able to get it filled that week. Not only is the chip repaired, but the tooth looks straighter now! I couldn't be more pleased. This place is so professional and kind.

Fantastic experience: Been a patient of Vanderpool for years and have Never had a complaint. Everyone there is super friendly and knowledgeable. They are always worth the drive to have my teeth cleaned and taken Care of. Dr. Vanderpool is always readily available for emergencies, especially like the one I had a few years ago for a chipped tooth. He took me in less than 24 hours to repair my tooth that is still going strong after 5 years so far! Consider Vanderpool as your go to for all your dental services.

Fantastic experience: My fist experience with Vanderpool Dental has been surprisingly awesome. I had what I considered to be an emergency (cracked tooth). I called them to set up an appointment. I was booked for 2 days out. I thought that was pretty quick. I was able to submit all the pre patient paperwork online making it easy. The morning of my appointment I was greeted quickly and only waited minutes before I was in the chair. The staffing is all very pleasant and made me feel very comfortable. Professionalism and confidence was definitely displayed. Dr. Emily DaSilva was awesome!! She knows her business and exactly what to say to make the situation go smoothly. Not that I want to visit them often, but I know where to go for my dental care. Thank you to everyone at Vanderpool Dental. You all need a pat on the back for a job well done.

Negative experience: Dr Vanderpool was great for about 5 years My wife and I went to him . We have an agreement to pay him over time We have no insurance and made this agreement with Dr Vanderpool Always paid him .Then he wants to pull 3 teeth from me and 2 from my wife . I said ok if we need it . Then billing sends a bill and wants it paid in full . I told the girl I have an agreement with Dr Vanderpool she said it is no good anymore And I have to pay now . She said we could not come back until the bill is paid . $300 to pull each tooth was high but I thought he is a nice guy I will just pay it as I have been doing for many years without a problem .Then the statements stat coming every 2 weeks So I have changed my mind on this practice I say do not use it I will not use him anymore and he will be paid monthly until he is paid off But I will not go back

Positive experience: Kaylee the hygienist was very kind and very thorough for my cleaning and xrays. I have had really good experiences with all doctors and hygienists during my visits. Dr. Dasilva is a very good doctor. I would recommend Vanderpool dental. I am giving four stars because of the occurances I have had regarding my insurance coverage and checkouts during my visits with patient care receptionists. Make sure you look into your own coverage because they will try to charge you if you have coverage. Patient care was not knowledgeable of my coverage. Would be best to say "let me verify your coverage" instead of quite rudely saying your insurance does not cover. I would recommend checking patients coverage before their visit or during rather than while they are standing to leave. Very unprofessional to do this.

Fantastic experience: I just want to start by saying I haven't been to the dentist in over 15 years because I was nervous and putting it off. I'm so glad I chose to come here after all of that time. Everyone has been incredibly accommodating and kind. Dr. Nogueira has the best bedside manner in any healthcare professional I've ever met/been a patient of. She talks me through all of the procedures and explains everything really well and makes the whole experience wayyy less nerve wracking. I don't remember the hygienists name that I had for my first cleaning in over a decade (lol) but she was great too!

Fantastic experience: I'm very happy with Vanderpool Dental and my new Dentist, Dr. DaSilva. The practice is bright, clean and modern, and the staff seems happy to be there. Dr. DaSilva is smart and caring. I had the same dentist for many years but moved and honestly I didn't want to change dentists. But now I'm glad I did.

Fantastic experience: No one likes to go to the dentist. That being said; I have had everything from cleanings to crowns and my experience has been great. Kudos to the staff.

Negative experience: BEWARE OF THIS CLINIC: They have state of the art equipment and pride themselves in being the best. You will be hyper diagnosed. They claimed i had 2 fillings fall out and a new cavity, as well as needing scaling of the gums, they claimed my daughter had 4 cavities and recommended an expensive orthadontal surgery, and my wife 3 cavities. They refused to give me a cleaning or even fill my cavities until I got the gum scaling surgery, the woman claiming "i need to feed my family too", after i said i have to worry about my family before spend thousands on teeth that arent bothering me. I moved my entire family to another dentist. After a 6 month wait time we finally got our results back today from the new dentist with clean bills of health, no cavities, no surgery's, just cleaning our teeth every 6 months. The lengths they went through to falsify data and is incredible to me. If you care about your hard earned money and don't want to be swindled. Don't use vanderpool. 0 out of 5 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: I was seeking a dentist closer to my home and had my first appointment last April. From the beginning of my visit I was treated with courtesy and respect from my initial exam until finishing with the office staff. Unfortunately I did not have the type of insurance for my dental needs but will be changing my plan for next year because the care I received is exactly what I was hoping for. Today I spoke with Ashley about the insurance options and she was able to provide all the information that I needed to make this decision. Again I am very thankful for her professional manner and experience with this process.

Fantastic experience: It was a pleasure today going to Vanderpool dental care and meeting the staff and hygienist. They were all polite and generous, and that Lena Nogueira, DMD She explained everything to me to let me know what she was looking at what she was going to do what she was planning on doing and I appreciate that . Lena Nogueira she also asked if I had any questions which I did and she had the patience to be there, and she was no rush to leave the room and went through everything and explained everything back to me of what to me to expect and what was going to happen.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Vanderpool’s office is one of the best dental offices I’ve experienced. I was over due for my dental cleaning and scheduling an appointment was easy and simple, and the front desk were kind enough to call me to see if I could come in sooner weeks after I scheduled it which I was grateful for because they were booking out. I was able to see Syndney as my hygienist for that day who was amazing. Very personable and professional. She was extremely thorough and gentle. Dr. Eagan did my exam, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about him. He always has a big smile on his face, you can tell he really loves what he does. He’s a great dentist. He explained his treatment recommendations in a timely but thorough manner, the appointment overall was great. I highly recommend this office easy to my friends and family.
