Fantastic experience: Okay, I absolutely LOVE Dr Corella and his staff! They are all the nicest and kindest dentist folks I've ever had. If you can believe it, I have fun there! I know, right? Doc is awesome. I love Amanda, Charlie, Natalie and Becky. Honestly though, everybody there is really cool. If I forgot anybody, I'm sorry. I found out I have a cavity today and I'm not freaked out cause I know I will be taken care of.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Corella and his wonderful staff are a group of dedicated professionals who take good care of every family member. Our entire family have been Dr. Corella's patients for the past 25 years. Our children were young when we began with Progressive Family Dentistry and Dr. Corella took the time necessary to calm everyone's fears. Dr. Corella's exceptional group of caregivers also treat my husband and myself with care and kindness. My hygienist, Susan, has been cleaning my teeth for many years and has superior skills!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Corella is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. I know going to the dentist is one thing we all dread but with Dr. Corella you just worry less. How does he achieve this? Because he is a person first and a dentist second. He doesn’t treat you like a transaction but like another person. He actually tries to get to know his patients and applauds their triumphs. He does the work that is necessary and never tries to upsell or do more than absolutely required. I was skeptical coming to see him after so many bad dentists but I am so happy I gave him a go!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been coming here since 1992. John (Dr Correla) runs a great office and is a very good dentist. Stacy is the best hygienist (gentle) there ever was, but don’t even think about trying to schedule with her as she is usually booked up.

Fantastic experience: I thought my previous dentist was pretty great but after meeting Dr.Corella and his team, I’m blown away by the professionalism and genuine kindness of everyone. I love how Dr.Corella went over all my X-rays and explained them thoroughly. He invited questions and made sure I understood everything that they were doing. His staff and were all super friendly and my hygienist Amanda gave me an excellent cleaning without causing any discomfort (I have sensitivity sometimes and previous cleanings were akin to torture). Highly recommend this practice!

Just a further update: Today a temp bridge was placed by Dr. Corella and I have been smiling at people ALL DAY!!! I am soooo Happy. My appointment was today and it was outstanding!! I am a new patient with significant restorative dentistry needs and Dr. Corella went through all of my options and explained them to me. He set out a great treatment plan and I was able to understand the way forward....This appointment was followed by an appointment with Dawn, Dr. Corella's Hygienist and she was terrific. Again, she explained what she was doing, reviewed areas of concern which will require monitoring and provided me with care recommendations to continue to improve my situation. Great Team!! Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Dr. Corella since 1993. The office staff is always cheerful, courteous, caring and helpful. I'm sure this is from the exemptular attitude of the Dr. Corella. He is always concerned with the best plan of action for the individual patient and does not perform unnecessary procedures. He is compassionate with each patients well being beyond their oral health. A visit to this practice is like going to see family. Best dentist in the Charleston area.

Fantastic experience: It was my daughter’s first visit to the Dentist. She saw her brothers go first but she was still scared. She began to cry and the Nurse new exactly what to do. She introduced every tool and allowed my daughter to touch and feel until she was comfortable. It took less than 5 minutes for the nurse to turn my daughter’s tears to laughter. The Doctor was genuine, kind, and friendly. He knew exactly how to treat all my children, and made them all feel comfortable. The receptionist was very welcoming. Since the first phone call I made to set up the appointments, to checking in, to checking out. My kids will not see another dentist.

I had a panoramic X-ray taken and Dr Corella personally went over it with me to indicate everything looks good which is a comfort. The technician did a thorough job cleaning my teeth. She was also able to set up my next appointment in 6 months. An outstanding visit.

Fantastic experience: Always time-shelf. Always on-time, courteous, friendly, and takes the time to listen. Cannot ask for better quality and service. We found Dr. Corella's team when we first moved to the area in 2008, and for three years when were out of the country, been with them ever since. If we ever move away again I may have to make special trips to come back to Progressive Family Dentistry. If you are new to the area and need an excellent dentist and staff, you need to look no further. Progressive Family is your best option. I would not make that recommendation if I did not believe it 100%.

Experienced the full-incoming patient procedure from reviewing medical history, taking photos and X-rays, to meeting with Dr. Corella, his oral examination, and the final discussion on his findings and my questions. The visit ended with the hygienist for my bi-yearly teeth cleaning. All the services were detailed and thorough. On top of the excellence and professionalism displayed by doctor and staff, I’ve yet to encounter a more friendly and happy medical office. So glad they’re my dental caregivers.

Negative experience: My wife scheduled an appointment for my daughter and had a text confirmation. When I arrived at the office they told me that they “forgot” to put her on the schedule and it then my problem to reschedule and miss more work to get her in, like somehow it was my fault they were negligent and incapable of doing their job correctly. So now I have to go to some “walk-in” dentist to get my daughter’s tooth pain addressed. I would avoid this office if at all possible

The receptionists were accommodating and pleasant, Shelly explained what to expect and why X-rays are important as well as reviewing my medical records with me, Dr. Corella throughly explained my X-rays, reviewed “teeth health,” did a exam on my teeth as well as a cancer check and encouraged me to call the office for any needs that arise. Susan cleaned my teeth beautifully, everyone from xrays to exam and a very patient, approachable talk with Dr. Corella (who spent a very generous amount of time explaining diagnoses and discussing options) were *superlative* in every way. Everyone was a lovely mix of professional and friendly. I cannot capture what a great group of people they are. You leave feeling like family.

As someone who had extreme fear of the dentist and needed extensive work done from childhood, Dr. Corella and his hygienist took time and care to make sure I was comfortable. He thoroughly goes over X-rays and explains the parts of my teeth/ mouth and how they function! They explain what they are doing when working on my mouth and why they are doing it, too! Not only are they helping me fix my smile, but are educating me throughout the process. All of his suggestions for care, toothpastes, oral rinses, mouth guards, etc, have all been 100% effective and helped improve my dental health. Now when I go to the dentist I am not nervous at all, and look forward to seeing the friendly, warm staff at Progressive dentist. I cannot recommend them enough!

It was a little intimidating switching to a new office but my husband & I could not be more pleased. Office staff goes above & beyond to make you feel welcome and Dr. Corella cares about his patients. Could not have picked a better place!❤️
