Negative experience: Since October, I have been attempting to obtain two root canal procedures for my son. Over the course of several months, I was repeatedly instructed to travel to multiple Jefferson Dental locations due to being told that your surgeon is only available one day a week and rotates between offices. Each time I complied with these instructions and arrived at the designated location, my son was not provided with the treatment he was scheduled for. On multiple occasions, appointments were canceled, delayed, or resulted in no treatment at all, despite prior confirmation. This repeated failure to provide care after months of waiting and traveling between locations demonstrates a severe lack of organization, professionalism, and respect for patients’ time and medical needs. This has been, without question, the worst dental experience I have ever encountered. A child requiring ongoing dental treatment should not be subjected to this level of disruption, inconsistency, and neglect. The inability to coordinate care effectively, especially for a necessary procedure like a root canal, is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your practice as a whole. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed appropriately. Patients should not be passed from location to location without receiving the care they are promised. I hope Jefferson Dental will review its scheduling practices, communication, and patient care standards to prevent others from experiencing the same frustration. Sincerely, Sandra Henderson

Negative experience: I had a Saturday appointment at Jefferson Dental, Rufe Snow Drive. Monday before my appointment, I got a text to confirm my appointment and I confirmed same day. Day of my appointment I drove to my appointment and first thing that surprised me, was an empty parking lot. I looked like a fool trying to open a locked door because somebody decided NOT to do their job and let their patients know 'the clinic will be closed on Saturday, we may have to reschedule your appointment!' I wasted my gas, I wasted my time. I am giving them 1 star and could have given them half star for this, if it existed.

Fantastic experience: What an awesome experience my wife and I had today at Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics! Was impressed to know they are open on Saturdays and take appointments up to 7:00 PM on certain weekdays! Fantastic experience: The dental and customer service were excellent. From the moment we entered the clinic, the entire team was warm and welcoming. Negative experience: Booked directly from a recommended list through my insurance company yesterday around 2pm, made an appointment for 8:45 the next morning. Arrived early and went to check in and was asked to have a seat, sat down and seconds later heard myself described as “the pregnant one” and was called up and told they tried to call me, but their new doctors were not approved to take my insurance. I asked when they called because I never received a call and the young lady admitted I was never called with a small apology. Things happen and I absolutely would have understood and scheduled with their sister location but between the description and flat out lying about calling me initially the experience was so unprofessional I’ll just go elsewhere.

Negative experience: The dental office has the most unprofessional front staff. Very unhappy with this place. After ortho dental care is completed, we will never ever come here again! 08/22. Update, Service not any better. Call center made an appointment for ortho that did not exist when we showed up at the office. Smh.

Fantastic experience: My partial denture broke, so I went in for a new one. I had a little problem getting the appointment, but I got in when I wanted. The staff was great, and the dentist ordered me a new partial no charge! I should get it in about 2 weeks.

Negative experience: I’ve had a very frustrating experience with this dental office. They rarely answer the phone or respond to emails, and if they do answer, you’re often left on hold indefinitely. I personally went into the office the first week of June to speak with the office manager Fernando Alcala directly about a billing issue. Despite being told it would be resolved, I’m still receiving billing notices with no explanation or follow-up. The lack of communication and accountability is extremely disappointing. I do not recommend this office unless their administrative processes improve significantly.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lin extracted two teeth during my visit. He was very professional and explained the entire procedure and options with me prior to me making any decisions. Once I did, he did an excellent job removing the teeth and adding bone grafts for future procedures. The entire staff was very professional as well. I will be returning.

Negative experience: We went here to get dentures for my father. His teeth were in bad shape due to tobacco usage from the past. They took 3d impressions twice for hours and kept us on the hook for > month. During the time, some teeth and a bridge fell off. After waiting a few more weeks, they told us we need to see a specialist at another Jefferson. This whole time my dad’s been in pain and unable to eat solids. Now we’re at another Jefferson and they’re giving us the same runaround. They keep saying they’re waiting for an approval. Approval from who? If you just need a cleaning, minor work, they’re fine. But I do not recommend this place for actual dental work. Beware and go to a real local dentist. Not worth all the pain for a few hundred in savings!

Fantastic experience: Came in today for my son’s braces and wanted him to get a cleaning, despite it not being part of his treatment for the day. Turned out to be a lot more than just a cleaning, but the staff accommodated us regardless. They were all very attentive, informative, kind, patient, and most of all they didn’t just bombard me with a huge bill, they offered options and payment plans prior to asking me my form of payment. This is what quality customer service and care looks like. Great job to everyone in the office INCLUDING the doctors who were amazing with my son!☺️

Negative experience: Spent an hour here, took 5 x-rays, was then told the machine wasn’t working, they had no clue when it would. Never saw a dentist. Also overheard staff say the machine was down the day before, would not recommend at all.

Negative experience: I've been waiting since April 17, 2025 for a $2,583 refund from Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics (Fort Worth, Rufe Snow Dr) for a treatment I never received. They process everything through a third-party financing company (OrthoFi), yet can't—or won't-confirm the refund has been sent. Each time I call, I'm routed around in circles with zero updates or resolution. To make matters worse, I continue receiving payment reminders, so much so that l've had to cancel my debit card to stop them. This isn't just my experience-reviews show this is a systemic issue. A BBB complaint describes financing Invisalign through OrthoFi, then being stuck in endless loops with no one able to cancel or refund. On Trustpilot, patients report similar issues-billing for undelivered services, ignored issues, and bounced communication between Jefferson, third-party billing, and collections. This has been over two months of runaround, missed calls, and mounting stress-without a single refund or even an explanation. If you're considering Jefferson Dental and expect transparent billing or timely refunds, think twice. Their system is broken, and they pass the buck through OrthoFi without any accountability.

Negative experience: Booking is Horrible. Communication is Horrible. Drove an hour to an appointment they cancelled because I didn’t confirm it the day before. But I confirmed it last week and 3 days before the appointment. Said it had to be confirmed 3 times. I’ve never had to do that before. Between Ortho and dental you would think it work be better communication.

Negative experience: Save yourself from alot of headaches… find dental and orthodontic care somewhere else! We just started an ortho treatment here and severely regret it! Good luck getting a call back or getting anyone to pick up your phone call! In the past I was able to get through to a live person but lately it just rings and rings and sends you to a voicemail. Ive had more negative experiences here than positive… I hate leaving negative reviews but hopefully this saves someone else from a bad experience here and maybe Ill finally get a call back…

I was told one price 2 years ago when we started ortho treatment with my daughter and I had to get a payment plan for the balance. I received a call in November saying I owe a balance. All I wanted was an understanding of why. Now we are looked at crazy and treated very UNPROFESSIONAL by even the doctor, Dr. Jesse, because I spoke up about the mistreatment. You can tell there is a grudge. And it’s the OBVIOUS. My 14 year old( who has been dealing with the lack of treatment and hearing it all from both sides the last 2 visits ) said there is a word for this mom, I think it’s called gaslighting. In the beginning I thought the world of the Dr. I even told my husband to come see him. But when I asked the wrong questions I saw his unprofessional side. My daughter has gone 4 months or longer with no treatment and I would have to call to find out when she needs to come back. I am told we are coming in for one thing and then when we get here it’s something different and once again because I ask questions, it’s an obvious I don’t want to deal with you response. No he is communicating with my daughter about her treatment instead of me ( the adult) smh. We are only still here to finish out the 1st, insurance paid and out of pocket paid portion. We attempted to leave once and it was a problem contacting this place to have treatment information transferred. So DON’T COME WITH QUESTIONS about something that doesn’t make sense.

Negative experience: I come here for my braces. At my last appointment , I was told due to their schedule, they were gonna call me to schedule my next appointment. They never called me to schedule my next appointment and my last appointment was weeks ago. I’ve left with bracket doors still open. Wire not cut all the way. The doctor has no concept of an inside voice and will make everyone aware of what oral problems you have and what you need to fix. They are always backed up so I’m typically waiting 30-40 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. Trinity and Lesly are great, other than that, not a good experience.

Fantastic experience: Came in due to some ache in my teeth. Dr. Jee did a thorough diagnosis and hopefully when I come back later for a filling, I'll feel better. I also was due for a cleaning and I chose to do one today. Deanna and Fatima were great. Definitely needed that cleaning and got a couple of cleaning tips for my teeth too. Ladies at the front desk were great, explained info well and scheduled my filling later this week.

Negative experience: Had an appointment at 11:30am and have been waiting an hour and now they are saying it will be around 1pm before I can be seen. This is not the first time I have had long waits and delay at this location. I kept getting harassed with appointment reminders and when I get here on time, they can’t fulfill the appointment time. Negative experience: Been faithful to Jefferson dental until now , they are poor at communicating effectively. Had an appointment for 11:15 am and I get there and it’s a 1 hr wait even though I had an appointment and they they say I can get my check up until January 5th due to insurance so they could have easily informed me if they knew that already .I Will be finding an new Dentist with better communication and that doesn’t waste their patients time

I then had to go up there they stated would call me back first thing this morning and didn’t. Seems like they are able to quickly take my money but not refund it. Every penny matters. Negative experience: I will never go to Jefferson Dental again. I went in to get a Crown fixed back in Feb. And they Conned me into a deep cleaning and a bunch of other stuff that I probably didn't need. I wind up maxing out my insurance and never did get my crown fixed. I went back today for an appointment I made for my free cleaning, which is covered by my insurance. First off my appointment was at 4. Didn't even get to the back 4:25. Told me I was going to have to pay another $163. I said no my insurance covers a free cleaning. They said the type of cleaning I was scheduled for was not free. I told them I only wanted the cleaning my insurance covered. She argued with me and I got so upset I walked out. Don't ever go here, They will try to upsell you and ring you dry. I am so furious that my blood pressure is over the roof.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend this Jefferson Dental office to anyone. The staff was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and informative throughout the entire process. I was a dental patient but by the time the visit was over, I felt like a part of their dental family. Doctor Jee was patient and informative. He explained the issues and treatment plan in depth and allowed me to ask questions until I fully understood. Dental Assistant Nancy, kept the xray process smooth and made sure I was comfortable. The Hygienist, Deanna, explained everything in depth and ensured my teeth and gums felt great during and after my cleaning. She takes her time to ensure it's as pain free as possible. The Manager, Johnny, went over all the issues, cost and payment plans to ensure I get the services needed and/or wanted. The financial plans offered helped make this visit less stressful financially. My expectations were met after the first visit. Thank you for a great visit!

Negative experience: EDIT: The “response from owner” is crappy, that number doesn’t even work! It’s only a busy signal how horrible! Why even reply with a non working number?! One of the worst experiences I’ve ever encountered. Literally no one is available to talk. I did a consultation (May 2024), same day I was there for literal hours but I understood since I have braces. During that time I went ahead and agreed to pricing, services & signed as well as paid my $500 deposit. I also had my account created Ortho-Fi as well since I’m self pay monthly. After my consultation I was told someone would reach out to get me scheduled for the first appointment as well as getting my scheduled with the oral surgeon. 2-3 weeks went by (now early June) and it was impossible to get in contact with anyone! Every time I called it was ridiculous hold times or the ortho side of the office was closed. They sent messages to the office and no one would return my call. The crazy thing is that by the time a month rolled around, my next payment was due but I still hadn’t received ANY service to my braces. I try calling, nothing. Now at 6 weeks later (now end of June) I call to cancel my contract because it’s been too long to not have an appointment as well as not being called back or kept in the loop as a NEW PATIENT and I want a refund. They say it takes 3-5 business days before I’ll see the refund. I call again and the rep tells me to try going up to the location because they’ve sent dozens of messages but my call isn’t being returned. I walk in and now it’s early July at this point and some of them are on their phones of course. The manager then asks me to step into the office because I’m livid at this point and not only that but Ortho-Fi is reporting my payments as “late” and “missed” because of their mess up so I want to be done because 7 weeks after a consultation I haven’t even had my first appointment! She then gives alllllll of these excuses as to why my contract hadn’t been cancelled, technical issues, apologies just a bunch of fluff. At this point it’s not 7 weeks since consult & 3 weeks since requesting the $500 refund I still hadn’t received. I proceed to ask for corporate number and I left a message with them. She tells me she got my contract canceled as well as the ortho-fi as well but it could take a week or so to update and reflect. I finally received my refund back A MONTH LATER but today is July 24th and I’m still receiving calls, voicemails and emails that I’m late on payments. I call Ortho-Fi and they tell me they’ve also been reaching out since I called them to verify cancellation on 7/5/24 and Jefferson has yet to follow up, answer or return their calls as well to handle this matter. It’s absolutely not acceptable to operate such a distasteful manner. I do not recommend this place not even to my worst enemy. Months later I’m still receiving calls and still taking a negative hit because the “workers” are not working. It seems like most if not all of you should either find another trade where you don’t have to apply interpersonal skills or customer service and support or management needs to implement detailed training to help the staff! Either way, major measures or an entirely new team need to be taken into account at this location because no reason for these types are the type of actions patients should encounter.

Negative experience: Two months without my trays because the people here can’t bother to respond to voicemails or phone calls. Got told I had to have certain things done, when agreeing to the price afterward they tell me they didn’t do it and I still got charged. Was told I had to have my wisdom teeth removed because they have cavities, another dentist confirms I don’t have any cavities and that my wisdom teeth are fine. These guys must make a commission or something, avoid at all costs. Edit: The number provided just goes straight back through their general phone system that nobody can be bothered to answer or return calls for.

The lady who schedules appointments did not know their own working schedule. All ladies in the front counter were busy on their cell phones. Negative experience: I had 2 appointments today for my children, one at 5:15 & the other one at 5:30! We were 15 minutes early for our appointments. I came early because I knew one of my children needed paperwork done due to her birthday being put in your system incorrectly so I wasn’t able to complete paperwork. We got called back for the first appointment at 5:40, so I’m very irritated at this point as I’m looking seeing the office isn’t busy. At 6:42 the Dr completed both exams on kids and let me know what was going on with each. He was on each child for FIVE MINUTES!! Yes 5!! He got his bags and left as I was still sitting there waiting!! After waiting another 10 minutes a guy walked pass and I asked him what is the hold up are they going to clean my children teeth. He tells me he is not sure I may have to come back another day! At this point I’m beyond pissed because I’ve been here for now 2 hours and to be told I will possibly have to come back to have their teeth clean. As I’m waiting let alone been waiting for a while now I see everyone cleaning taking trash out vacuuming and doing everything but noticing I’m still here and my children teeth has still not been clean. I was told to wait on the hygienist. After a couple minutes I LEFT PISSED, because this was ridiculous and still didn’t get an explanation on what was going on and why I was there for 2 hours and still didn’t have a complete appointment! I let the lady know I was not happy and I was contacting corporate as well as I cancelled my future appointments that I had scheduled for myself. This was ridiculous and I will not recommend anyone to this office.

Negative experience: Do not come here, avoid this place!! Their objective is to upsell as many services as they can and not consider the needs of the patient. They use scare tactics to try and coax you into their suggested services. I went in to Jefferson Dental for a biannual clean and checkup. I thought I would give them a try as my prior dentist is across town. That was a mistake! After an hour and forty-five minutes they told me they would not be cleaning my teeth unless I went with their suggested deep clean service that costs a couple of hundred dollars. They said the regular teeth cleaning that the insurance covers would not be beneficial to me. In addition to the deep clean they suggested antibiotics and laser services that would cost me $1,417.60. They spent about forty- five minutes with me from the x-rays, scans, dental hygienist, dentist and office manager who is the sales person in disguise. The other hour was spent waiting on them to see me. The dental assistant took about 30 minutes of x-rays and scans of my teeth. Then the dental hygienist came by. She measured the bone density in my mouth and was doing something else with her tool that made my gums bleed. She said your gums are bleeding and they need additional work. Then she said my bone density was low and my teeth could fall out. Her suggestion was a deep clean, antibiotics and laser treatment. Next up the dentist came by, looked at my teeth and called out some terms I have never heard of to the dental assistant to record. I asked what the terms he said were but he did not explain. He was not friendly at all. Just when I thought things could not get any worse, the office manager came by with pricing to discuss my treatment plans. I told him why do I need a treatment plan if the visit is covered by my insurance. He then said they would not be cleaning my teeth unless I went with their suggested services. I advised him that I have never been to a dentist office that would not clean my teeth unless I went with their treatment plans and that this is the first time I have heard of these services. I began making my way toward the exit. I asked him what they would be billing my insurance for, the amount came to around a hundred bucks. I told him I was leaving and not coming back. I kept the paper with the suggested treatments and what they are going to bill my insurance. I am going back to my prior dentist as I have not had problems with them. My prior dentist has never suggested any of these services, nor said my mouth is in really bad shape and has not ever made my mouth bleed. I brush my teeth twice a day, floss, and use mouthwash regularly and have only had a few cavities in my whole life! I am appalled at their deceptive and misleading business practices.

Negative experience: Never got to see the dentist, they canceled my appointment multiple times first due to an unnecessary referral that wasn’t need. Second time due to a large family being put in front of me even though I had a scheduled appointment, they told me it would take 2 hours longer for them to accommodate the family. Lastly they canceled me again for no reason, won’t be back. Had a family member get dentures and the process took several months too long, don’t recommend.

They worked with me to find a great payment plan for what I'll be getting done. They also joke around which, for me, is comforting. Nancy was great with the X-rays and constantly doing whatever she could to make sure I was at a good comfort level and that means a lot because I don't like going to the dentist and it shows lol. Negative experience: Avoid this place at all costs. Based on insurance advice, I went to Jefferson Dental to fix my chipped tooth. I was able to make an appointment for the next day and the receptionist staff were all very nice. It makes sense that my dental technician took me to the back so she could take several x-rays of my teeth. I originally came here to get my chipped tooth fixed, which is where the mess started. Following the completion of the X-rays by the technician, I saw a dental hygienist who reviewed all of my scans and suggested that I have a deep cleaning to help avoid plaque and other issues such as my cavities that were unrelated to my chipped tooth. Before leaving, the dental hygienist said someone will speak to me about my financial choices?! At that moment, I was perplexed, so when a man approached me and hardly said hi, I discovered that he was a dentist. After examining my teeth, he gave me information about my options for wisdom teeth extraction and cavity cleaning and fillings. And to think I was certain that things couldn't be much worse than what I was going through, but I was undoubtedly mistaken. Dr. Jesse Mitchem, an orthodontist, greeted me and reviewed my x-rays before outlining a dental plan that included Invisalign to correct my teeth's alignment. After listening to the information he gave me, I told him that I had come in for my chipped tooth and wasn't interested in this. He starts by telling me that my teeth are getting cavities because of acid reflux. Now, keep in mind I don't have acid reflux, so I didn't like the scare tactic of linking me to esophageal cancer amongst other unnecessary comments to try to prove a point to why I needed to correct the alignment of my teeth! Following our conversation, I was approached by a financial advisor who offered me an 18-month payment plan for about $6,000 to have Invisalign. I told her I wanted to check my bill amount for today and that I wasn't interested. She promptly made an appointment for me to speak with the associate to go over the details. My insurance paid for the examination, but I told her I wouldn't be returning and that I would look for another dentist. Jefferson Dental's ultimate objective is to upsell as many customers as they can without considering the needs of the patient, which is a horrible way to conduct business. It is all my fault for not doing more research on this place. I'm glad I discovered a family dentist office in my area that treated me with such care, especially after my negative experience with Jefferson Dental.

Negative experience: I have been making payments for my Invisalign treatment since November. In January, I had a scan for my Invisalign aligners and was informed that I would receive a call within four weeks once they arrived. However, after four weeks had passed, I began calling the orthodontist's office in late February, but my calls were never answered, and I was always directed to the call center. The call center representatives were unable to provide me with any information regarding the status of my aligners. They suggested that I visit the location in person to inquire about them, which was inconvenient for me due to my work commitments. After several months of unsuccessful attempts to reach the orthodontist's office, I finally managed to get through and schedule an appointment for May 27th at 11:30 AM. Subsequently, I received a phone call asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment for my Invisalign treatment. I informed the caller that I already had an appointment scheduled for 11:30 AM on May 27th, and they confirmed the details over the phone. On the day of my appointment, I arrived at the orthodontist's office at 11:30 AM, only to be informed that I needed to reschedule because my actual appointment was scheduled for 11:00 AM. I expressed my frustration and requested a refund for the inconvenience caused by their lack of organization and miscommunication. However, I was informed that I would be required to pay a 25% cancellation fee. I am dissatisfied with the situation and feel that I am being penalized for their administrative errors. I would like to request a full refund for the Invisalign treatment as I am no longer willing to continue with the process due to the inconvenience and frustration I have experienced.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first day at this location and was by far the most cleanest and professional Jefferson’s I’ve seen in a while! Then to add to it the staff from walking in to getting treatment in the back was over and beyond amazing. I was very nervous walking in and their willing to take their time and move at my speed was a blessing in its own! Thank you to the two ladies at the front desk with mngr Jonny to the assistant DeShundra who was welcoming me with great customer service to the Hygienist Angela and don’t forget her side assistant (a nice lady) to “Mr Smiley from Ortho and Soni the doctor ! Negative experience: This branch is very poorly managed. I’ve gone to the Berry St location before and had a great experience, when I moved to NRH, I decided to try this location and it was a big mistake. The first appointment I went to, they told me they wouldn’t even be able to see me and i would have to come back, which I did. I came for an exam and a cleaning and had a consultation for a root canal. When I scheduled the appointment for the root canal 3 weeks later, they called me at 4pm the day before to inform me that again, they wouldn’t be able to see me. I work out of town and on the road so it isn’t very easy for me to just reschedule and take any day off I want. This place has no respect for their patients time and is poorly administered. I would not trust the management of this branch to manage a Dairy Queen, let alone a dentist office. I get 3 sick days a year at my job and just trying to get a simple root canal at this establishment is about to burn up all 3 of them within a month

Fantastic experience: Amazing services! Finally found some knowledgeable and sensitive doctors who cared and listened to my unique condition. I came here after a journey of uncertainty and bereavement from jaw injury from a years of misalignment, wisdom teeth extractions, and irregular dental cleaning appointments. I also had been to the Jefferson off Pipeline prior to this office and this is office much nicer.

Negative experience: Terrible experience! I was not informed of exactly what was taking place and the bed side manner was not good. Went in for a root canal and after being worked on for awhile, an extraction was needed. I understand that being needed however after deciding to do the extraction I was left in the chair for around 45 min waiting with a bloody mouth for my extraction. The extraction did not go well and the Dentist had no empathy and showed frustration. On the follow up visit the dentist was impatient with me and frustrated. I was then billed an amount that I was unclear why and asked for clarity. After multiple calls, emails AND in person visit to address bills, I was given no clarity even after sending insurance invoices still no response. I paid due to receiving a letter about it going to collections and me not wanting to deal with it hitting credit and going down that rabbit hole. Highly disappointed....

Fantastic experience: They are the best, despite my phobia of going to the dentist. My hygienist Wofaa was upfront with what I needed but very warm and kind. I had a deep clean, which I heard negatively but it was great!

Negative experience: I came in to get a regular cleaning but was told I need a deep clean which is fine. But at the moment I didn't have what was needed for the deep clean. I was told that I could not get a regular cleaning which should come with my insurance for free. I'm upset that once I declined the deep cleaning that the regular cleaning was not AN OPTION what so ever! I feel like I wasted my time. Reguardless I should have gotten my teeth cleaned. I'm really really fustrated. On the other hand I appreciate the staff for being patient with my child.

Fantastic experience: My children and I have been coming here for sometime now. Today I had an appt, and though it was long, I appreciate Dr Soni taking time out to schedule me at a later time to get my tooth extracted. Deshundra sweetie, you are such a sweet young lady, and sorry you saw me cry but thank you for offering to assist me with my youngin. Also the manager Johnny, he’s good ppl too. Even though the cost to fix my mouth almost put me in a coma ( my mouth bad y’all), he was very informative and willing to give me a discount to help ease the cost. Don’t sleep on this office yall. They are really great ppl. My only complaint is that I wish they had another Dr, because I’m sure Dr Soni seeing all those patients can get overwhelming and I think it would ease the load off of her.

Fantastic experience: I took four kids to Jefferson Dental and Orthodontics today. For 2 of them a 1st time dentist appointment. I was very impressed with the entire staff, they all seemed to work together as a well organized team. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating to me and my children. Great service Thumbs up!
