Negative experience: We Did have appointment? But when we got there, we wait, 1 hour and 30m When we check-in with the reception, they always Saying 10 minute or 15 minute. To me, this is not professional. We have a lot of things to do And we're still waiting

Negative experience: We have 2 kids with braces so we are stuck here. And let’s just say my son started in Japan and we saw so much change and now here since the beginning of the year and nothing really. The cleanings…. Are a joke!! The worst our kids have ever had! They take the kids back and luckily we have teens who told us yea they barely brushed our teeth and then put sealants over. Umm… yea that’s how to get more money from people, let’s cause cavities. My kids have never had cavities and if they do after here we will know why. They are always late, we had the first appt of the day, and somehow 36 mins late. Every appt is like this… they don’t care at all about your time, we have wasted hours sitting in the lobby. They do not communicate in the office, between ortho and general. We get so many text and phone calls and the appt times are always messed up between the offices. The office staff can be rude and really only care about socializing amongst themselves.

Negative experience: So frustrating our appointment time is never on time There should be a place where there is no simulation there is not a space of quiet The age range is wide and should not assume all children want to hear constant noise The appt are ridiculous and again over an hour late everytime we had an appt I work hard and getting off is difficult and have other appts and did not want to be stuck in traffic which is exactly what happened due to being late The service is unacceptable

Negative experience: I was sent another patient's personal information via text, and would have able to contact them because of how much info they gave me. They had offered the best price for adult ortho aligners. They seemed to be the most knowledgeable of the dentists I saw due to a placement of a bracket, so I went with them. They told me at my first appt after paying that they couldn't place the bracket because of a crown. The bumpers were applied improperly, and would fall off in 1-2 days after the appointment when the same tech applied them. After my first couple of appts, I would end up waiting over 45 mins to be seen for follow up appts. I told them a couple of times the aligners didn't fit properly and would pop off, and I was told to just deal with it, until I refused to take that as an answer and they rescanned. Two months of aligners into the treatment, I was told I had a cavity that I would need filled before continuing, so the treatment was paused. My dentist had a very long wait, and months later I moved away. They wanted to charge me $3k of a $5k plan for two months of treatment, because the 3-4ths months aligners didn't fit properly and I had to come back in and get rescanned. They said I "wasn't wearing them properly", although I wore them for 22 hours a day. Also, for adults, they will constantly ask your child's name. I've disputed this with billing, but will end up taking additional action. Whenever you contact the office, you will potentially get contacted by several different numbers and emails. Their management seems very disorganized.

Negative experience: This is the worst dentist. The should be investigated for insurance fraud. Do not be fooled by the nice decorations to attract and make your child feel like this place is safe. I believe they care more about their billing than their care or communication. I know they do not care about my 5 year old. They only cause him trauma! We had too many issues with him at this dentist. I tried other locations as well however it's the super dentist in general. This dentist is so misleading with information. I feel they over do it with the suggested care just because they can bill you insurance. I have been taking my 2 children to this dentist for over 3 years now. This past visit was awful. We went in for a filing for 2 cavities. At least that is what we were told via sign language by the dentist on our last cleaning visit. My kids brush and floss every day. So how 2 fillings turned in to 2 crowns in the matter of 2 and a half weeks to a 5 year old. He is no pain, no issuse or compaints. We have just went off what we saw in the x-ray. During the cleaning the dentist said 2 cavities with her two fingers and nodding her head then walked away. What a explanation. The hygienist is who said we need too come back for two fillings. This is not the first or second time we have gone to this dentist and told we need one thing done and then on the follow up visit it's a completely different story. They do not give you their notes that they add in the their system. They do not communicate in the office well. They should stop focusing on sending multiple text message and emails a week and have their dentist communicate properly and professionally. The office staff can be rude and talk over you and have comments about you when you or they walk away like we had happen to is tonight by Silvia. The best answer they give you with any situation is "I am sorry Mr." They do not realize the trauma that my 5 year old had experienced and continues to experience about this super dentist. We will never be back!

Negative experience: Staff are nice but they overbooked everybody. We booked our appointment at 4:00 pm.We waited for the doctor to come until 5:00 pm. She still didn’t come, so we ended up leaving the facility.

Fantastic experience: Honestly I was skeptical about this place. The bad reviews are pretty yikes worthy. I was nervous but truthfully we had a wonderful experience, barely a 10 minute wait. The were welcome and informative with our insurance needs. All friendly and direct. They gave my 1 year old boy sensitive and honorable care. The place is definitely a children's play area. So many props to distract and encourage learning and imagination. We even watched 'The Rise Of Supermouth' when we got home. Will be returning next week for a first cleaning.

Negative experience: My son has been going to super dentist since he was 5. He is 11 now and it seems like all they want to do is pull his teeth. I had to work today so his sister had to take him to his appointment. He needed to have 2 fillings. When I talked to the receptionist over the phone, she told me 3 extractions. I asked her why and she said they were his baby teeth that need to come out. I asked her if we can just do the fillings and see if the baby teeth would come out on their own. I did not want to have the teeth pulled without me there. She said yes and would tell the dentist. The dentist that worked on him was the same as always. You cannot understand her and she does what she wants. She ended up pulling a tooth and didn't even do the fillings. It was very hard to get my son comfortable with getting the fillings. The fact that she did this work with no warning and without being told to was frustrating. My son was traumatized and so was my daughter. The lady dentist is rude and does not listen. My son and daughter told her numerous times to not pull the tooth. After confronting them, they said it was an accident and it fell out while prepping for the filing. The tooth made a loud pop when pulled which means it was not even loose. My son did not want the laughing gas because he didn't like the way it made him feel previously. The dentist kept threatening him with the gas if he didn't stop crying. I will no longer take my son here. The receptionist was awesome but the dentist is awful!!!!

Positive experience: In general we are happy with the care we’ve received at the super dentist office, however their texting service is going way too far. I feel like at this point I’m getting texts every other day. In the last 24 hours I have received 9 texts from 4 different numbers. I get reminders for appointments I never scheduled, I’ll reply to the text cancelling this mystery appointment only to have a different number text me and remind me again of the same (now cancelled) appointment I never even made to begin with! I’m starting to feel harassed. The kicker is we were literally there yesterday for an appointment! How do I have so many texts telling me to schedule again?! Please stop with the constant texting. A reminder of an appointment once or twice is fine, but this is actually getting to the point where I don’t want to go there anymore. Edit: after posting this I received another reminder text within 5 minutes. This can not be real. There has to be a glitch or something. Please fix it!

Negative experience: We have been a few times and each experience gets worse. Several times I have had to pay extra for things not covered by our insurance, but they didn’t disclose this ahead of time. They are never running on time, even first thing in the morning and you never see the same staff. Most recently, I declined to have x-rays done because we had them done at the previous visit 6 months before and they really pressured me even though our insurance only pays for every 6 months. A dentist walked in and told us my son had 3 cavities after looking in his mouth for 2 seconds, even though no one mentioned anything 6 months ago when they reviewed the x-rays. They wanted to do fillings that day before we left. I declined and took my child for a second opinion at a different dentist and they completed more x-rays and confirmed that he doesn’t have any cavities….

Negative experience: This is our 4th time visiting this office and it’s always a 45 min wait time to be seen. Even when your name is called to go to the back you’re still waiting an additional 20 min for the dentist to see you. This is extremely frustrating when your child is only 2 yrs old and the dentist only spends 3-5 min on them! On this particular visit we were 12 min late to our 9:30am appointment, however, it’s now 10:18am and I have no doubt had we been on time, we still would’ve been waiting. We should be in and out but somehow they’re always behind. At this point they’re poor scheduling is a trend and they clearly don’t value their patients time so we will no longer be visiting this facility.

Negative experience: I’ve taken both of my children here twice, and unfortunately both visits were very disappointing. The first time, we waited over an hour past our appointment, and the visit felt rushed. My child was seen by someone who didn’t seem experienced with X-rays, and the hygienist never even came in. My 1-year-old had a terrible experience. I decided to give them another chance only because I needed my daughter’s school dental form completed, but it was even worse. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, I received a text saying they were already running 45 minutes late. The office was overcrowded with kids, looked dirty, and it felt like they were overscheduling appointments. We’ve had much better experiences at other pediatric dental offices. Unless you want to wait hours with small children in an uncomfortable environment, I do not recommend this office.

Negative experience: This is my second time bringing my son to the super dentist. His first appointment we waited over 30 minutes before he was even brought to the back. This time I asked the front if it was gonna be the same as the first time, they assured me it wouldn’t and they were finishing up with the prior patient. Here we are again, but this time we have waited for over 40 minutes and we are still waiting. Yes I already went to the front to see what was going on after 30 minutes. If you set a time for an appointment and you are not on time you should at least call patients ahead of time to tell them or at least at check in give them a heads up not tell me it won’t be like last time. I don’t know if we will be back after this. Update we made it back after 45minutes. Then during the procedure they drilled and the dr walked out after. As he doesn’t finish the filling. We waiting another 20min for someone else to come back and fill them. During this time my son was left on laughing gas unattended and waiting with sponges in his mouth. I have never in my life seen this. It looks like this place is all about the money vs how they treat a patient!

Negative experience: Took my kids here two weeks ago and it was a bad experience first they didn’t clean my kids teeth good I ended up bringing them to another dentist at home and they had cavities an supposedly at super they didn’t have any… I drive 2 hours to go see them an they don’t try to clean my kids teeth good.. I come here because I have an autistic son and supposedly I heard they were good with autistic children but they are not..

Negative experience: This place was heartbreaking. The dentist misgendered and mocked my child right in front of me, then abandoned the appointment when she flinched. No compassion. No effort. The staff whispered and stared like we were a problem — not patients. My child was publicly shamed, ignored, and even sent alone into another room without permission. The whole experience left me shaken. They may look kid-friendly, but their treatment of vulnerable children is anything but.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worse dentist ever .. everything my kids had an appointment it was a long wait but this time took the cake 2hour wait with multiple excuses.. at this point I will be informing my insurance, bbb, corporate etc.. this is unacceptable...

Negative experience: I loved this establishment when it first opened. My kids were actually exited to go see a dentist. The commercial is nothing like the real thing. Most of the time the interactive games don’t work and the coffee machine is rarely in working order. The orthodontist do not even greet you and are just plain rude. I also get notifications about appointments I did not make almost monthly. On the dentist side every time I come in they want to take X-rays and then charge me since my insurance only covers twice a year, but never disclose that before they actually do it.

Negative experience: I don't write bad reviews but I've had such a terrible experience that I feel I need to write a review so that others do not experience what I'm going through. I had a filling appointment in December, the dentist did three fillings. For the first half of the filling process, she was talking to me while my mouth was wide open and there was no way to respond to her. That was the first strange sign,she was also talking to another dentist while doing my teeth which I felt was very unprofessional.When the appointment was done, she did not tell me not to eat or be careful, nothing like that. After a week or two, I noticed something strange on my gums, and my teeth were in so much pain. However the strangest thing was that my teeth had an open bite which I never had before. When I went back to check what was wrong, another dentist told me she did my fillings wrong. At this point I no longer had insurance. It took months of me calling for them to start helping me out. One of them told me I would have to pay almost $900 to fix those fillings that were the dentist's fault. I had to ask them many times if I could speak to the manager until I was able to. The manager said I would have to pay around $150. I was angry at first because the first person who quoted me $800 was able to help me but she didn't want to. I went back to the office to get those fillings. The dentist didn’t even know which ones to do, I had to tell her even though I told the front desk ladies multiple times. I didn’t get to finish all of the fillings because my teeth are still in pain after my last appointment. The worst part about all of this is that now I have an open bite and I never had one before this situation. When I expressed this to them they said its not their fault and that I will have to pay for braces or invisalign. Take my advice and find somewhere else to go.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love The Super Dentists! Not only is it a fun and engaging environment for the kids, but their staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. While my son and I were waiting, the Super Tooth Fairy came by and played a game of giant UNO with us! It made the time fly by and turned a regular appointment into something special. To top it all off, we even won a new toothbrush and cleaning device, which was such an unexpected and fun surprise! Negative experience: Horrible experience. They treated us like a number. We waited for half an hour on the waiting room, then when they brought us in to the chair the nurse did the initial assessment pretty quick and said we had to wait for the dentist to come. We waited with our one year old for a full hour on the chair. When we asked the nurse/assistant, he said there was only one dentist working that day and that they were overbooked. Our baby cried and had a horrible time. If you are going to have a kids specific dentist office you have to be mindful of children’s experience so they don’t hate it for life. I do not recommend going to this office

My twins are part of the pediatric dentistry services, and I see the adult dentistry team. The care and professionalism we have received across the board have been outstanding. One of the most meaningful parts of our experience has been the incredible support my daughter has received from the Kearny Mesa Super Dentist Orthodontics Team. She has significant dental anxiety, and over the years, the staff has shown remarkable patience, empathy, and dedication in helping her feel safe and comfortable through multiple procedures. We are especially grateful for Clarisa from the Orthodontics Team. Simply put, she has been a lifesaver for our daughter. From the very beginning, Clarisa’s warm, friendly, and calming presence made all the difference. My daughter was very apprehensive about getting braces, but Clarisa worked with her closely for over two years, building a trusting relationship that helped ease her fears and give her confidence. Negative experience: I did not want to leave a negative review. However, they continue to make my daughter appointments without my permission. I have kindly asked 3 times for them to stop making my daughter random appointments and sending me an email or text with the appointment time and date. They referred my daughter out for a root canal, and we decided to just stay with the dentist, who we saw for the root canal. She is a teen, and she felt more comfortable at the other dentist then The Super Dentist as it is more geared to younger children, and it is themed well. Also, the dentist seemed rushed to get through many patients, and they forced an orthodontist to see you after they finished with you. They don't even ask permission to see your child. My daughter has already had braces, and I told them that, but they stated it is their normal procedure. I planned on moving my other children to the Super Dentist, but after they won't stop making appointments and harassing me, I will say goodbye for good. I hope no one has this problem. Just beware, if you see them and then choose to switch dentists, they WILL still make appointments even after you tell them that you will not be returning to multiple staff.

Negative experience: This is a commercial business. They run you in like an assembly line and when you get upset that you waited over two months for an appointment for them to merely take X-rays and say they need to deep clean and to check back in a couple of weeks to see if your cleaning was approved. The first thing they do always is take X-rays and bill for services that were unnecessary. Correct me if I’m wrong but my grill is straight and I wasn’t complaining about any pain to even need an X-ray ? I just feel like they bill for services that are unnecessary to make more money. Didn’t have any resolution until the end when I got the lovely supervisor who was trying her best to help. Other than that and the receptionist with the space buns, that place is a facade! They have inviting photos and themes for kids but truly have no professionalism. Girls were talking about their makeup and miscellaneous details that had nothing to do with doing their jobs… lol and they dress up like superhero’s lmfao imagine a girl with 10 pounds of makeup and a BbL in some tights and a cape lmfao yeah

Fantastic experience: The staff was very professional during my dentist visit with my 8-year-old daughter. They explained everything clearly, including what she had and the procedures they were going to do. Negative experience: I’m writing to share some concerns about my recent visit to Super Dentist, as there were several communication issues that made the experience frustrating and unclear. My daughter’s appointment was scheduled for 7:00 AM. We arrived early at 6:45 AM, but the parking lot was empty and the building doors were locked. Staff didn’t begin arriving until around 6:56 AM, and the doors weren’t opened until 7:01 AM—after the scheduled appointment time. We arrived early to allow time for check-in, but instead had to wait while staff got set up. There was only one person at the front desk assisting patients. When the treatment plan was first explained to me, I was told it would cost “around $200-something,” but no exact amount was provided. Later, I was informed of an additional $99 charge for a “savings plan” that had not been mentioned earlier. I was not shown any paperwork or signage disclosing this fee. It only came up after I asked several questions. This lack of transparency feels misleading and a SCAM, especially when the promised two-week window to confirm insurance was later shortened without notice. I was initially told I had two weeks to confirm the status of my insurance. However, Salina Hernandez later informed me that, because the month was nearly over, I needed to provide an answer by the 30th. When I reminded her of the original two-week timeline, she replied, “Sorry, I didn’t realize it’s already the 20th.” Unfortunately, this was only clarified after I had already digitally signed the paperwork. It would have been extremely helpful if Salina Hernandez had clearly explained all costs, terms, and deadlines from the beginning. Additionally, I was asked to sign a form without being told the exact total, which turned out to be $165.60. I did not receive a copy of what I signed until I specifically asked for one. I also mentioned to Salina that it would’ve been helpful to know in advance that my insurance didn’t appear in your system. I could have looked into it prior to the appointment. Her response was, “I don’t know who booked it or what was discussed,” which added to the overall feeling of disorganization and left me unsure about what I was agreeing to. On a positive note, Jessica, who assisted with the dentist, was kind and professional throughout the visit. I truly appreciate her support with assisting my daughter's care. Overall, I’m requesting improved communication going forward. After reading some of your Google Reviews, I’ve noticed others have had similar concerns with billing issues, unclear communication, and impersonal experiences—especially involving Salina. I’d appreciate it if someone could review my visit and provide clarity on the charges and treatment plan. At this point, I feel taken advantage of due to the lack of transparency and shifting information after signing the agreement

Negative experience: There is absolutely no way this place has 4 stars without the employees either doing some reviews themselves or getting people to do them. I had my first appointment today with them at 10:30 for both of my daughters and I got there at 10 AM and they told me they were behind 45 minutes. I went to sit down and I asked the lady next to me if she had been there before and if they usually take a while and she said it was also her first time, and she had already waited an hour and was still waiting. I went back up to the front desk to ask roughly how long it was going to take, and I overheard the patient in front of me complain how this was her third visit and every time she has to wait over an hour to be seen. I asked her if waiting was common And she said yes, that every time she comes, she has to wait over an hour to be seen. I don’t understand how they have appointment scheduled, but they’re always late. The place is incredibly overstimulating. It was so packed when we got there and I could tell it wasn’t going to be just 45 minutes to be seen. Would not recommend!

Fantastic experience: We LOVE the SUPER DENTIST! The name says it all. We have been bringing our son to the super dentist for the last three years. They truly cater to the child’s experience here. The waiting room is full of life size super dentist characters, so when the kids walk in, they’re t sparks so much excitement. They have screen games, super hero dress up, and activity days for the kids while they wait. A Starbucks coffee Machine for the adults, and a very helpful front desk staff. My son has had to have fillings and they were so patient with him. They always ask if I have any concerns, and they listen to my sons as well. The dental assistants are so great with kids, talking them through the process as they go. Every chair or room has two tv screens for the children to watch a show while the work is being done! Our dentist is just the sweetest, she is kind general and really cares for the children. When you check out the back staff is even more incredible, helping with future appointments, and sales of their amazing mouth care line. They have have great flavors for their mouth care line, like chocolate toothpaste, vanilla mouth wash, and so much more. My son leaves asking when he gets to go back, and just this last visit, asked if he can see them for the rest of his life. If that doesn’t save something coming from a 6 year old about the dentist, I don’t know what will! Thank you super dentist!

Negative experience: Took my 2 year old daughter here for her first dental visit because we wanted her to have a positive experience when it comes to the dentist. Her first visit was alright. They have things to keep the kids entertained while they wait, but a lot of it is broken and some areas were evidently dirty. The video monitors for what I assume are games are ripped out the wall. Had to keep my daughter from grabbing wires. The second visit was okay. We were really hoping that the staff would give a different experience, one that makes it fun for the kids. But it wasn’t that. It was just like another (bad) dental office, but just has a mini theme park vibe to it. The third visit, we waited for an hour and still hadn’t been called back or had anyone acknowledge the wait, so we just left and probably never coming back.

Fantastic experience: I am not a person who likes gimmicky things so honestly I didn't want to like Super Dentists... but they really won me over! Every person I spoke to was KIND and patient and knowledgeable. My kid needed a lot of dental work and they took such good care of him. He's a really good kid so it's easy to be sweet to him, but he's also 5yo and stayed for 2 crowns and 4 fillings very calmly thanks to the help of the dental assistant.

Negative experience: This place is the worst dentist I ever took my kids to . The front desk women need to be trained better . They get mad when you ask them questions about appointments they schedule for WITHOUT your permission. Every time I come in they say something different about my childrens teeth which you would think a good dentist would catch these things before especially if we was just there recently . We have been in and out of their different offices for 4 months now because of their mess ups . My son ended up getting an infection after the gave him a cap and my daughters cap fell out the next day after getting them . They schedule my kids for appointments they already done work on which is a cleaning. Which means they’re charging my insurance multiple times for something they already done. I came here today and I was told my daughter had a new cavity and I was told they couldn’t do it today but I had to come out of pocket for something else . All they care about is money they don’t care about the patients . I expected more out of this place . The only thing great about this place is the Set up

Negative experience: DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. My 3.5 year old is now traumatized after coming here. He is great at doctors and dentist appointments usually! I should have never come back after the dentist at his cleaning appointment talked to us for under 30 seconds before hopping over to the next patient. Extremely unprofessional for a cavity filling. Was strapped down and hygienist was very forceful with getting his mouth open for a picture after the numbing scared him. He couldn’t stop screaming, was profusely sweating and peed himself. I told them we would do it another time to try and get out of there and they laughed. During the procedure he started choking on his saliva and I HAD TO TELL THEM TO SUCTION. I do not think he will ever step foot in a dentist now without a fight and being put to sleep for procedures. I couldn’t sleep tonight because of how engrained in my memory this is and how horrible I feel as a parent. I have been to different dentists who are WAY better with children and will actually talk to them and go at THE CHILDS pace to be comfortable. So I will state again… DO NOT BRING A CHILD HERE.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional dental assistant traumatized my kid! I had to ask her to please tell my son what she was doing because he was nervous and she did the worst job she was rough and impatient! My son wasn’t even being bad for them to not be kind to him. I forgot to mention they took him back to another room to force strap him. My son had large tonsils so he gauges real easy and that seemed to infuriate the dental assistant. No empathy ! I told the front desk and no one seemed to care! Run ! Don’t traumatize your kids here THEY DID NOT CARE THAT MY SON WAS SCARED !! They saw my complaint like months later and asked me to return because they were sorry! The next woman who saw him was very nice but my son was already traumatized. And on the way to the dental chair I saw a different dental assistant clipping her nails with dental instruments!!! Thank you but no thank you will NEVER RETURN !

Negative experience: The first time I went there, everything was great. The atmosphere is great for the kids, BUT the STAFF is very unprofessional and I even witnessed them gossiping about parents in the office. If you can put up with it, ok. But they are very unprofessional.

Negative experience: Such a miserable experience. I was told no less than 4 times that they were in network for my insurance and they weren’t. They hygienist was trying to correct my parenting when I was trying to calm my scared 5 year old. They “found” like 18 cavities none of which were there 6 months before or after. You can’t call the billing department directly so you just have to wait for a call back. And the call number makes you listen to 90 seconds of the most annoying woman ever! 0/10 would not recommend.

Most businesses deserve the benefit of the doubt but with having worked in dental for years in San Diego county, I was so stunned at my experience here that something needed to be said. I’m writing this purely with the intention of creating awareness for your staff and hopefully offering additional training in customer service. Scheduling was simple and easy, so things started off smooth. The facility is massive and fun for the kids to look at - I absolutely appreciate their kid friendly vibe. All information is asked for in advance, assuming the staff take the time to review prior to a patient coming in. I happened to schedule same day - so when I came in and they asked for my insurance details again, I understood. This is clearly a high volume office with people in and out during peak hours. It wasn’t until my kids and I waited for 35 minutes that I started to question things. I went to check in on our status for being seen and the front office team asked for my insurance card a 3rd time. The team member looked around and were confused as to the status of my insurance verification was and were told they needed to submit a picture (you mean the ones I’d already provided online prior to the appointment) and again AFTER I’d come up to ask after waiting nearly 40 minutes past my appointment time. Obviously they’d forgotten to provide their eligibility coordinator with my insurance in the first place. An hour and 10 minutes go by, my kids are hungry, I’m starting to feel forgotten about and they finally call my name - Just kidding, they just asked me to come up and sign a self pay waiver just so they can see my daughter while they wait on verification. My insurance isn’t anything peculiar - it’s a PPO premier insurance and been used many times before at other providers over the years. At this point, I was desperate for my daughter to be seen. We’d already sat in 45 minutes of traffic to get there and although the front office had clearly checked out for the day, I was still trying to have my daughter seen - so I signed their waiver ready to pay out of pocket if I needed to. There was such little compassion for our wait time and they looked annoyed at me being annoyed. Needless to say, they tell me an assistant is on their way to come get my daughter … Jokes on me - another 10 minutes later and other patients are called back. Nearly 90 total minutes of sitting in a waiting room while I listened to you guys talk about astrology signs and then appear shocked that I’m upset. One front desk staff even shared “well we didn’t have your insurance information” LOL well of the 4 total times I presented it and with the physical card being handed over - I just can’t believe the level of unprofessionalism. Nobody even acknowledged the wait or took ownership of their miss. If that’s your standard of care, you might as well be western dental. Such an enormous waste of time.

Negative experience: I dont usually waste my time leaving a review but I feel like this is something that other potential patients should know. I took my 4yr old daughter to this clinic because I wanted her to have the best experience whenever she goes to the dentist and this clinic has a play area in the waiting room which I love. However, on the very first visit she had, the dentist said she needed cleaning and that she had cavities. They cleaned her teeth for like 10-20 minutes and she was done. As for the cavities, they wanted us to pay out of pocket of $300 because apparently my insurance doesnt cover it. It didn't feel right that I have to pay that amount because I have coworkers who didnt ever have to pay for their dependents dental works so I didnt move forward with the cavity that the dentist was talking about. After that, I didnt take my daughter to this clinic anymore nor did I made future appointments with them but they keep on reminding me about these appointments that I didn't make. I was getting frustrated with how many times that I told them to remove me from those automated appointment scheduler and they will still make a future appointments without my consent. In my opinion, I didnt feel like this clinic was focused on my child's dental health but rather focused on the business side of it. It was a shame because I really like the play area which made my daughter excited to go to the dentist.

Negative experience: This super dentist office is so beautifully remodeled. It’s such a shame that all the staff members are completely unprofessional. The dentist that seen my son kicked him out of the office for crying out of fear. The dental assistants were very rude to my son. The dental assistants left the medical records of other patients open after leaving the exam room. We were asked to leave the office after already waiting two hours, the administration of laughing gas for 30 mins and administration of topical numbing. The Dentist stated my eight year old son was too big to be acting this way and she refused to restrain him, and refused to complete the work needed for my sons oral health. If I could have this location 0 STARS I would. Never go here. Go to the Eastlake location

Negative experience: The lady who attended my child did not know how to treat children. She was very rude and impatient, rolled her eyes many times, and threw instruments in a bad mood. I am very disappointed about this visit and will not return.

Negative experience: I came here to get a second opinion. I've been dealing with gum pain for over two years after getting a deep cleaning procedure at another dentistry. I'm also dealing with TMJ symptoms. This place is small. There were a lot of people in the waiting room. It was difficult to move around without bumping into someone. Anyway, I mentioned my concerns to the dentists, who seemed to be talking very fast. She didn't appear to be paying attention. She looked at the X-rays and stated there was bacteria building up on my teeth and required a deep cleaning and fillings. I had to ask about my gums again, and she said they looked fine. There were no nerves in the gums. So, it couldn't be nerve related. Why would she recommend another deep cleaning after I told her the pain began after deep cleaning? They wanted to charge me $350 for a new mouth guard and $1100 for the other procedure. The person who handles insurance was very persistent. I kept telling him I couldn't afford it at the time, but he kept pushing. Saying he would work with me. He was trying to get me on a payment plan. I told a few times that it wasn't affordable. I got on the phone with my wife to discuss our funds, and I heard him tell other co-workers I was on the phone with my wife. I felt uncomfortable after that. They almost got me to pay, but I ended up leaving. It was not a good experience for my first visit. I'll look elsewhere for affordable dentistry and some who will listen to my concerns.

Fantastic experience: Checking in is quick and easy. My daughter never dreads coming to her orthodontist appointments because the staff is friendly and gentle with her treatment. Our experience has been exceptional, and I totally recommend the Kearney office!

Negative experience: I would be very cautious if you are taking your child here. They messed up my child’s’ teeth. Tried to do procedures that were not needed and then when got caught refused to do what’s right. Now having to take my time to take it to legal. Even the insurance denied the work they said needed to be done because it wasn’t necessary. Not sure if their dentist are bad but the ones my kids saw did a very bad job.

Positive experience: Fun enough for the kids. The forms are not so fun for the parents but they have been getting shorter and better if done in office. Maybe the game can make it more worth while

Positive experience: My toddler had a very bad fall where one of his front teeth had been pushed backwards. Unfortunately this happened on a Friday night and my poor baby was in so much pain. Started doing research on emergency dental offices and the super dentist came up with their office being open on Saturday! I tried to see if they had emergency services to get him in right away, but they didn’t. I still tried my luck by walking in when they opened and seeing if they’d treat him. I was warned that they are fully booked and busy on Saturdays but that they would have me standby for a possible opening. I was waiting for 30 min and got my son treated within the hour. I’m so grateful that they were able to see him so quickly. I had never visited a super dentist before and I thought the environment is sooooo awesome for kids. Only negative thing that I felt was weird is that the areas where you get seen by the dentist have no privacy at all, just a small wall separating each little “room” area. There we kids crying and screaming (including mine) all around. When I was getting the after care instructions I could barely hear the doctor because of how open these areas are.

Negative experience: My wife just left at 10am after not being seen for a 9 o'clock appointment. There were a bunch of people who had 9 o'clock appointments who still weren't seen when she left. Is the business model to book as many appointments as possible, have everyone wait over an hour, and then see whoever doesn't give up and leave? I'm seriously asking. Why are you booking appointments when you can't see the appointments?

Negative experience: Drove two hours for our toddlers appt today and arrived at our scheduled time. Was told by front desk wait would be 30-40 min Max with 3 families ahead of us. We give them an hour to check back in with them at the front desk and they said another hour wait time with the 3 families still ahead of us?! We ended up canceling our appt. Toddlers are nervous as it is to go to the dentist and to have them wait that long is not fair. I understand the high demand of appts in the area, but overbooking should not be done. Then maybe patients could actually be seen in time or their wait time not be almost 2 hours. We schedule an appt for a reason. There was also multiple parents in the waiting area complaining about the wait time. UPDATE: Manager called me and explained to me the situation from that day in their office. She was very nice and r/s my toddler for another day. We will be trying an appt during the week now and see if that works better for us. Looking forward to our appt! Update from our visit 10/7: We got there at our scheduled time and still waited 45 minutes today. I was told to say to front desk while checking in that the manager was expecting us and we never saw her. There’s a few more things that were promised for this visit and never happened. The dental assistant was nice, but wasn’t really explaining what she was doing to our toddler. You know just so our toddler wouldn’t be so nervous…If anything I was the one that explained things more during the cleaning. Again she was nice, but as a first time visit I just thought things would’ve been explained better to our toddler. Which I don’t think is fair because I could hear another dental assistant explaining to her patient what she was doing.

Negative experience: Pros: Front desk is friendly and provided service in a timely manner. Lobby and stations were clean. Cons: 1. In two of my visits, the dental assistants lacked professionalism. They joke around and have inappropriate conversations affecting the patients experience. After the last visit, my child told me one of the dental assistants referred to a black child as a “mayate”. I didn’t hear it since I was with my other child that was also being seen at the same time, but there’s no reason my child would make that up. 2. I was referred to a specialist due to my child’s X-rays showing an extra tooth that had to be surgically extracted. When I went back for a follow up, they stated they couldn’t find the extra tooth and joked how they maybe gave me the wrong X-ray the previous visit. I didn’t take the chance so I took my child to get an evaluation elsewhere and they found the extra tooth clearly in the X-ray. 3. I keep getting appointment reminders for appointments I never scheduled. When trying to cancel via email, I get a notification that there was a delivery failure. Mind you, the email has an option to “reply to cancel”.

Negative experience: I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at the super dentist. I had an appointment scheduled for 2:00 PM today and arrived 30 minutes early. After waiting until 2:25 PM without being seen, I approached the front desk to inquire about the delay. Unfortunately, my interaction with Donna was incredibly disappointing. Her demeanor was rude, and she responded by yelling and snapping her fingers, making me feel as though I was in an unprofessional environment rather than a healthcare facility. This behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards I expect from Super Dentist. I believe that professionalism and courtesy are crucial in any customer-facing role, especially in a medical setting. Fantastic experience: We have a family of 5, and we have a child with a bleeding disorder that we worry about dental services for. This has been the most accommodating dental office experience I've ever had! Melissa at the Kearny location has been very helpful in getting appts set and co-ordinating with other medical providers. Negative experience: UPDATE: immediately after my review Tonya gave me a call to discuss my concerns and expressed her apologies. As a parent I truly appreciate that attention. I provided my insurance in advance and when I arrived I was ask to provide it again even though they had told me they accepted it. I was told my toddler needed to have his tooth removed asap and after 20 min of waiting to see how much it would cost, I was told they would call me and schedule an appt for the following day. I asked how much this visit would be and was told nothing because it was just a consultation. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM. Thankfully, I obtained a second opinion and that dentist said absolutely nope, he completely disagreed with their advice. Then nearly two weeks after i received a $160 bill from them. I would highly discourage any parents from bringing their child here it seems like such a money grab.

Positive experience: Terrible experience here, I have 2 children who had appointments at 3 today. We arrived 15 minutes early to check in. Lobby was packed but it's after school so we weren't surprised. After waiting 45 minutes we checked in with the staff to see if we were forgotten about since it's now 30 minutes after our appointment. We were told there were 7 people ahead of us(?!) Were then told we'd be see in 15-20 minutes... The clock strikes 4 and still have not been called. Went to the front again and was told you are next. I understand being a litte behind but an hour after your scheduled appointment is unacceptable. Our time as patients is valuable mind you anything else we had planned afterwards was completely destroyed now that we are so far behind schedule. Don't overbook the appointment time and this won't be an issue. Manager Tania was super apologetic about our wait time this afternoon and assured us that our time is precious to the company. She also went above and beyond to rectify the situation. We always have had a great experience at The Super Dentists and look forward to more in the future. Thank you Tania
