Fantastic experience: I was very anxious for my wisdom tooth surgery, but the whole staff was professional and compassionate. Even up until my sedation they kept friendly conversation, which I am very grateful for as it settled my nerves a bit. I did have to have two tries for an IV, but I trust that it was for my own safety and surgery precision. You can tell they are well trained and know how to get things done quickly yet safely and efficiently. I believe they set me up for a great recovery. I would not hesitate to go to them for a wisdom tooth extraction.

Fantastic experience: This was the best surgical experience I have ever had! Dr. Bobst gave a thorough explanation of the diagnosis from the x-ray, since the tooth should have been removed six years ago, just prior to the shut down of Covid. I didn't even know the procedure had been completed as the nurse said, until I realized there was gauze in my right cheek! Post surgery also went well, no pain, no nausea, just an ache after the surgery, minor swelling, and no pain pills were needed. I will definitely recommend Dr. Bobst to anyone who wants good dental surgery.

I am so thankful! The office is beautiful, all of the staff are awesome, and Dr. Bobst is so personable, with a great sense of humor. My son had 2 wisdom teeth extracted, and I can’t believe how quickly the procedure went! The surgical sites are so clean - he is truly amazing! The staff is very thorough with aftercare instructions and providing tools needed for successful recovery. We had such a great experience, I am highly impressed, and I highly recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: If you have dental anxiety this is your place. My dentist referred me to have a broken tooth removed that was beyond fixing. I was very nervous to but read the excellent reviews which helped. I went in and had a quick exam which confirmed it needed out. I was given what the cost would be, then they prepped me for anesthesia and next thing I knew I was awake and done. The office is very clean and modern. Everyone from the front desk and beyond is very kind. I was impressed. I would definitely recommend this oral surgeon for your needs. I hope not to need their services again but definitely would choose them again if needed.

Fantastic experience: I had to get a molar extraction this morning & chose to go under for the procedure. I am scared of needles, & so of course I have the smallest veins that are impossible to locate. I let Dr Bobst know this fun fact & he took it as a challenge lol. Dr's & nurses in the past have threaded (aka dug) around my arms causing pain & huge embarrassing bruises. Dr Bobst actually took his time & found a vein very quickly with no pain. Because I was soo nervous they knocked me out almost immediately which I appreciated haha. I would recommend their office 100%. They were friendly/professional & will have you in & out in no time!

Fantastic experience: I would definitely refer Boise Oral Surgery and Dental Implant. Dr. Bobst and his staff are great. I ended up with an abscess tooth. It came on pretty quickly and a root canal wasn't an option. Boise Oral Surgery was able to get me in quickly and take care of the problem. They will also help me with an implant once I have healed up. Everyone made me feel cared for from the moment I got there to when I left. Thank you Dr. Bobst and staff for helping me when I needed it most. Your the Best! Update: today I returned to have the implant placed. Everything went smoothly as expected. Now to heal up. Fantastic experience: I visited Boise Oral Surgery yesterday. Dr. Bobst and staff were amazing. As soon as I walked into the office everything was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and greeted me as I walked in. Dr. Bobst came in with a big smile. He calmed my nerves and reassured me that everything would be okay. He explained the procedure with easy to understand terms. They provided me with a care package and thorough instructions for my next steps. Thankfully I don’t remember any part of my procedure, but I am recovering great. Fantastic experience: Very friendly, gave me lots of stuff to recover with, an ice pack, lip balm and gauze and gave us all the information for an easy recovery. This was the first time where I had to be put alseep for an appointment so I was a little nervous but they helped calm me down and it was amazing!

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience! I had a fibroid or skin flap inside my mouth that kept getting in the way of my chewing when eating. I went in for a consultation that took about 15 minutes and was scheduled quickly to get it removed. The removal was about 15 minutes as well and they made me feel safe and comfortable. So far I’m healing well! Definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: This place was so great as far as needing to get oral surgery goes LoL. They gave me an estimate well before the procedure. They gave clear before surgery instructions and prepared a nice bag with everything after care. They went through everything before the procedure, but there was a brochure in the bag that went through all that again and it was sooooo handy! They were prompt. They had everything organized. In and out the door in an hour. Super professional and casual and just very impressive.

Positive experience: I got my wisdom teeth taken out today and the dr and rest of the staff were really kind. My only issue is when I was being escorted to my car I was definitely still high on the sedative, and I took a fall and scraped up my knee pretty bad…luckily it was just my knee and I didn’t hit my head or something. Maybe bring the patients to their car in a wheel chair or wait till they are a bit more awake.

Kindest, most efficiently run Oral Surgeon ‘s office I have ever been to ..Front office staff … incredibly efficient and sweet and nice and all with the things that needed to be done .. filling out paperwork .. understanding what the doctor would be doing and what to expect.. the financial aspect discussed in a private respectful understanding professional way .. the doctors assistant was amazing as well ! Helped calm my huge nerves and explained everything she was doing to get me ready for the surgery .. The building itself is immaculate and comfortable and warm and calm .. roomy and large enough so one could have privacy sitting a few chairs away from other patients ..the decor and ambiance peaceful .. so very professional still but very comfortable beautiful office . Dr Bobst .. .beyond amazing. I have huge dental fears and anxiety from years of horrible experiences.. he truly helped minimize my fears and seemed to understand what I was going thru to even be able to walk into a dentist office.. He throughly explained what needed to be done to get me back to a healthy situation with my teeth ..he included me in the decision making from the point of explaining the issues .. and asking what I was up to doing at this point .. I trust him explicitly . I felt safe with him. Safe in his office and safe with his staff. What a game changer from my past experiences .

Fantastic experience: Did an amazing job, I only had 2 wisdom teeth, but I was asleep the whole time. As for pain levels, they aren't that bad yet, The left side hurts more but its most likely because that one was already growing in my cheek, im happy that I could get both out in the end because that wasn't the plan! My mom and dad were also really happy about the payment because the estimate was way higher and we have been having a lot of money payment issues. Our stove broke down, our dishwasher is starting to break also our microwave, its what we get for having a 20 year old house. Anyway overall the doctor guy was super nice, same with the nurses :) I will say when they were going over all the info, I was so tired already and it all went over my head, luckily you get the paper about everything anyway so that isn't a big deal !!

Positive experience: So far so good. My real problem is that my oral surgery was a medical procedure not a dental one but this provider is not listed in the medical arena with my Medicare advantage plan. Hence the procedure cost me $5000+ out of my own pocket

Negative experience: I was told I would get a free consultation, but then recieved a bill for $137 in the mail. It's not the price that bothers me, but the lack of honesty and transparency they provided. I feel like I got scammed and now they are coming after my credit score I worked hard for. Very disappointed in this company I hope they can learn to do better.

I have an extreme fear of needles, which I let them know about, and they handled me and my fear so well! They kept me well-informed the whole time and did their best to keep me calm. I have a very small mouth with very limited space to work in. I also have TMJ. I have many failing teeth that need to be replaced.and other problems as well. They removed many teeth and placed a new dental implant and put me in a healthy denture. Dr Bobst is kind and compassionate and he makes me laugh. He is extremely knowledgeable, He called twice to see how I was doing after surgery, he always answers all my questions in a concerned manner.I would not go to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: Great service, reasonable cost (compared to other dental surgeons in the Boise area). My son needed to have his wisdom teeth removed. I was surprised how easy it was to work with the staff and how quickly they were able to get him in and get his wisdom teeth out. They did a great job.

Fantastic experience: As soon as they gave me Propofol I don't remember anything. It was the easiest molar I've ever had pulled and the recovery has been fast and easy. Sleepy the first day taking a pain pill twice. Day 1 no pain pills until bedtime. No major swelling as I used a a roll on topical pain medication. Day 2 mild discomfort will use roll on again. Great way for pulling a tooth! Thanks Dr Bobst and team.

Fantastic experience: I was sent here by Boise Prosthodontics for a surgery to get every single one of my teeth pulled because they were unsalvageable, and I was expecting it to hurt a ton. I can honestly say I had repair surgeries on my teeth previously that hurt a million times more than Dr. Bobst pulling all of my teeth out. That's the level of skill this guy has, somehow getting my teeth pulled by him hurt less than fillings. I would recommend this place to everybody.

Fantastic experience: There was no waitng. Upton arrival I answered a few questions to update my account. The surgery to extract all my remaining teeth went off without a hitch. All the staff are very cordial and knowledgeable. The oral surgeon, Dr Bobst, is exceptional in his oral surgeon skills. When I woke up I had my dentures in place and I then was on my way home. The procedure was thoroughly explained and I know what to expect and in the future with my inplants.

Referral from my Greeley, CO dentist brought me to Dr. Bobst and staff who helped track my dental insurance and extracted my tooth in three days.
