Fantastic experience: You couldn’t ask for a better dentist. They tackle minor and major issues. Most dentist only take care of the minor problem and tries to send you to a specialist. Not a Richardson general and cosmetic, they get you in and out and help with anything thing you might not understand.

Negative experience: This is a terribly managed office. They’ll schedule you, confirm your appointment, and then call you and cancel the appointment the day before so they can close for whatever reason. Treatment was great but won’t be back. Has cost me money taking off work 3 times.

Fantastic experience: Best dental experience ive had in a long time. So glad i found them. They originally saved me on a weekend when I was in so much pain and needed relief fast and ended up needing a extraction. They fixed my front teeth and listened to all my concerns. I have had several visits since to repair and address other issues. Great staff and Dentists and dental assistants with great bedside manner (and playlists). Thanks you guys!

After Visiting this clinic they put 8 caps in my daughter mouth and two came out the following week she wasn’t and didn’t need the caps they didn’t refer us to a specialist if my daughter did need them my daughter has been having problems with talking and other family and friends I referred has experienced the same coming from a mom I do not recommend this office AT ALL

Fantastic experience: I have extreme anxiety about going to the dentist. And it doesn’t help that EACH time I go, I am congested. I have been to a few dentist in the DFW area. Finally, I have found one that works for me. Dr. Esparza is so patient and kind. She has such a calm demeanor and made me feel very comfortable during my filings. She reassured me during each step of the procedure and checked in with me often to make sure I was feeling ok. She didn’t mind that I had my AirPods (many of the dentist I tried didn’t like it). She was very thorough yet worked as efficiently as she could due to my nervousness. I appreciated it. It felt like 5 minutes. Obviously, it took much longer than that since I have 2 filings. The front office lady, I think her name is Karen is so nice. Very sweet and informative. She was very welcoming. (This is important for any business. The front office is the face. The first point of contact. They set the tone of your experience.) My dental hygienist, Selena, chef’s kiss. She was so calm, kind, and friendly during my cleaning. She was very thorough, yet worked at a good pace. I forgot all about my nerves. She even remembered me when I came back with my kids. I definitely recommend RGCD!

Positive experience: Front desk is extremely unprofessional and somewhat rude. They speak to you as if they are doing you a favor. Or if it's a government free clinic. I paid cash and in full. I was respectful and deserved to betreated with the sane respect.

From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff( Hilda and Abby) was calm, friendly, and willing to answer any questions such a warm welcome. One thing I really appreciated was that we were allowed to go to the back with our children, which made them (and us) feel more at ease. Dr. Sara and her assistant Meiliby was amazing knowledgeable, gentle, and treated our kids with such care. And the best news? No cavities for any of them! We’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend for families!

Negative experience: I wish I had something better to write about my experience, but sadly that opportunity was not given to me Almost 2 months ago, I had my #2 molar prepped for a crown. They put a temporary on and everything fit and worked perfectly. No complaints. A few weeks later once the permanent crown was ready, a new doctor I had never seen before installed the permanent crown and it took him over 30 minutes of adjusting and shaving down the crown in order to get it to fit. I went home that afternoon and less than 11 hours later in the morning, my bite had **completely** shifted and this caused my #7 veneer to break off which I had had for over four years. many things are coincidences, but having a veneer on your front tooth break off due to a bite change 11hrs after a permanent crown put on…is not a coincidence. They then made some adjustments a few days later to the permanent crown, which did nothing and put a temporary crown on the veneer. The temporary broke off less than three hours later, I came back two days later and they told me they were putting another “temporary” on however, they did not put a temporary on. They put permanent composite bonding on the tooth which is far different than the material used for a temporary. This was not communicated to me or verbalized in any way Now, when I want to have this taken off in order to get a second opinion, they will have to shave it off and it will likely adversely affect the underlying tooth. I didn’t have trust before this in them, but hearing that they concealed this was shocking. Once they had put the temporary on prior to me finding out it was actually composite bonding. They discussed with me putting on a crown on the number seven and luckily I was quite hesitant. They told me that I could pay for half upfront and half once it’s complete and I could let them know when I was ready. I decided after getting a second opinion and realizing how little I trusted them that I did not want to do so I was told that the entirety of the $167 which is half of the 334 that I was supposed to be charged for the crown would be refunded however it’s been four weeks now and that hasn’t happened. I went back in today, which is when I found out that they did not actually use a temporary material but rather permanent composite bonding for my temporary need. They then told me that they would not be refunding the other $87 because of the time that they had spent It’s also worthy to mention that when I went in today, a new doctor (I genuinely don’t think I’ve met with the same doctor twice) said that instead of doing a crown, we should actually be doing a veneer… in between this time when they put the composite temporary on until when I was finally able to get an appointment, I called six times and asked to speak with the doctor regarding what the process would be for putting on the crown each time I was told that the doctor was busy and I would receive a call back. I never did Not only am I gonna have to spend $1800 for a new veneer due to them incorrectly seating the crown as well as a messed up bite, but I’m also out the $87 for a crown that I paid for but never received. I had zero communication from the office staff and doctors during this whole fiasco, I don’t think I ever met with the same doctor twice I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but this was quite the fiasco. I will be speaking to attorney to review my options, but definitely will not be coming back here under any circumstances

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this dentist. I have a 5yr old that had a bad rotten tooth that constantly has him moaning in his sleep from pain. No Dentist would remove it due to his age and the way he reacted. Richardson General and Cosmetic Dentistry took their time and was very patient with my son. The Dentist was so calm and sweet she even told my son a funny story about Spider-Man to keep him calm during the extraction. That was a great tactic for small children. I can finally go home knowing my son will sleep peaceful tonight. Thank you Richardson General and Cosmetic Dentistry you guys are the best!
