Fantastic experience: Best place ever!!! No pain, no waiting, and great music! Make sure that you ask for Sam if you’re going in for a cleaning, she is the best ever!!! Just had 2 old, real old, crowns removed and replaced. Should have gone this route years ago! This is the best place in the southeast! Always cheerful and friendly. You can tell employees love working there and love their jobs…..it shows! Bring candy, especially chocolates! It’s even gotten better with Dr. Johnson being there!!!

Negative experience: UPDATE The front desk is great and so is the hygienist. They get 5 stars. The issue is the business can not seem to keep the same dentists for any length of time. I go every 6 months for a cleaning and Dr. exam yearly. I've never seen the same Dr. twice in a row. I've seen 4 different Dr's. In 4 years here. Even though the doctors were all different they were OK up until the last visit. The last visit was with the latest doctor was the shortest " exam " I've ever had in my life. 4 min. tops and barely looked in my mouth. He mainly just looked at x rays and talked very quickly. No exam of gums, no prodding of fillings, no tongue exam nothing other dentists usually do. He wanted to refer me to a specialist for small cracks in 1 molar I've had for years...And launched into talking about possible need for a crown, root canal or PULLING THE TOOTH? What kind of bedside manner is that? You've got to be kidding me! I barely got to see his face as he was takiking behind out of my field of view...before he rushed off. I'm not going back. Love the front desk and hygienist, but that was the

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about Dr. Katie, Gwen, and the rest of the team. I spent a number of years avoiding the dentist due to wisdom teeth, and once I was forced to deal with that, I started the process of getting restored. I've had a crown done, a couple fillings, and most recently, a deep cleaning of my ridiculously sensitive bottom teeth. In every case, the team responded to ANY discomfort by pausing and administering more numbing or freezing. I felt almost nothing during the deep cleaning, the worst of it being a quick pinch for freezing. Astounding. After nearly two decades of anxiety and apprehension, I'm finally able to roll into the shop with a calm confidence. Very happy to have gotten through this while everything is still largely in tact, and look forward to years of great dental health. 11/10 would recommend to a friend.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit..The office is so welcoming and there was no waiting. Everyone in the office was so friendly and kind. Dr Kocan and Gwen were so patient with me.They explained everything that I needed done and how much it would cost. They were able to do the work right than. Dr Kocan made sure I was comfortable and numb. He constantly made sure I wasn't feeling any pain.I'm so glad I decided to go to Seminole Dentistry. I've found my new dentist!!

Fantastic experience: As someone with terrible anxiety related to dental treatment, I was nervous to change to a new dental office, but I had nothing to be concerned for. Dr. Johnson and the staff at Seminole Dentistry were patient and FANTASTIC. My first visit involved an exam, followed by a discussion about a treatment plan for me, helping me to prioritize each step. They answered all my questions and now I have a new home base for my dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Really love this place and would recommend to all local friends and family. I appreciate their new patient process- the first appointment is a consultation with x-rays, and then you schedule your cleaning & any work to be done for the future. They had pretty decent availability so I was able to get everything done in one week. The staff is incredibly nice, professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Dr. Johnson is so sweet and is absolutely the best dentist that I’ve been to as an adult. She clearly cares for her patients and wants them to be comfortable, and she’s clearly very knowledgeable and experienced in her craft. Seminole Dentistry made me enjoy going to the dentist again, I will be going back! Oh, and it felt very affordable (note: I do have decent insurance).

From the time I was greeted at the front desk, to Gwen who was so careful with my X-Rays, to Dr. Johnson who was so sweet and took the time to not only get to know me, but also to educate me on what she examined...all the way to checking out and making another appointment. Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE !!! They have an empty parking lot in that terrible location for a reason. I regret sending some of my customers there because THEY are now dealing with the aftermath of mediocre work. I had 5 front crowns done. 2 front root canals on those . I think one post, a tooth added on to my partial that sticks straight out. So bad. So I stopped the 15,000$ plan WITH discount immediately. Numerous visits. I can share my whole past with them if anyone wants to disagree from that office. I LOVE the ladies in there. They have now been under new ownership since I last went on my birthday April 8th. Long story short… They got about 9000$ for all of that . All cash. So when a crown came out 2 years later I run in they say I need a post. Now the Dr. Moore did all the crowns but conveniently was no longer there. She left. So they put a post in, Dr. No and I left 1700$ later. They didn’t even HONOR the mediocre and yes, my FRONT TOOTH crown part that should have had post from the beginning! So on my MILESTONE Birthday it comes out post and all!!! No!!! First it was loose, so I went in and Doctor No said it was bumping the bottom tooth. Ok well that shouldn’t cost me ANOTHER 2000$!!’ And if it needed a post Dr. Moore didnt see that after she did the root canal on that tooth? THAT msy have saved me from what situation I’m in now. Which is very bad. My bottom teeth have been drilled and grounded down Dr. Wyatt says because it’s called “ bumping the opposition “. So I have chicklets sfter they we’re done doing that all those times my crowns were not feeling like my bite. I know I’m all over the place , but after what happened I have missed so many events, family photos. Dr. Wyatt sat down when the crown came completely out and tells me the tooth isn’t salvageable. My bite was too deep and sent me to a specialist! He told me I’ll refund your money but see ya! I left with a temporary and a post. And he didn’t refund but 1146.00$. Not the point. The specialist is looking at me like , “ you are either going to continue your treatment plan with the partial and implants or dentures. That was 120$ I don’t have and it was 15 mins. And they told me Seminole Dentistry sends everyone to them that they don’t know what to do with. THEN TELL THE PATIENT!!!!! Don’t keep putting bandaids on for 1000$ a pop. I had no insurance , all cash. Whats comical is…. that temporary, even very noticeable, is still there with the post . So I wonder how a temp with barely any way to hang on is STILL IN MY MOUTH if tooth wasn’t salvageable?!?!? They sent me out and I was like a deer in headlights. My family, my boss, no one could believe any Dental facility would just send me out and refund SOME of the money and he never called me back after I called him ( Dr. Wyatt , the OWNER)” three times to beg for help . I was mortified. And I’m writing this because I see the other reviews that aren’t anyone picking on them or just being mean. NO!! They do just enough to get u in and out and paid. If I could sit outside and beg people to go to even Aspen or a chain but don’t do it. They only refunded SOME NOT ALL of that money because he knew how horrible they were doing me and I was crying and balling on my Birthday. I haven’t been able to save that large amount again . I had to move in with my 84 ur old Mom who fell and can’t fend for herself or I would be posting pictures and receipts everywhere to stop them from doing this to people who are already insecure and trying to gradually get a smile back. Shame shame on them. Everyone reaps what they sow. That’s my only relief they will see what damage they did to some of our personalities, just from screwing up a front tooth. Thanks Seminole Dentistry. When it happens to a family member or u u will see how it’s like the most devastating thing . Ever.

Fantastic experience: Let me be clear, i’m scared of the dentist. I’ve had nothing but awful experiences at the dentist. I didn’t go anywhere for about a year as I was nervous if i couldn’t find a truthful place that has good dentistry practice. After asking a good friend, they mentioned to me Seminole Dentistry. Although i was nervous, seeing the dentist is important so I decided to check this place out. Wow i’m happy I did, not only did i feel very comfortable, everyone i spoke with was SO nice. This staff truly cares about you and it’s not all about how much money they can make off of you (that was a big issue i was running into at other places). I personally worked with Dr. Katie Johnson and she was such a sweet doctor that explained everything to me very clearly and was gentle when poking around in my mouth. I walked out of there SO happy to feel, “wow once in my life i’ve found a permanent dentist that will be my forever dentist” I’ll recommend this dentist office a million times, they make you feel so comfortable and welcomed. Again, everyone i spoke with was so amazing and nice. I’m beyond happy to begin this journey to perfect teeth with Dr. Johnson & her wonderful team.

Fantastic experience: Definitely the most honest dentist place I've ever been to... they restored my faith in dentist I went to a place in downtown St Pete they claimed I had three cavities and needed two crowns and a root canal. All I needed was one root canal and a crown, I have zero cavities... everybody inside the building is very caring and professional.

The procedure was exceptionally easy to experience and the doctor made it as painless as possible. Appointments are quick and easy to make as well :)

Fantastic experience: I am so happy that I chose to start going to Seminole Dentistry a few years ago. Before I started going there, I had tried another dentist office but the staff had made me feel so uncomfortable. Needless to say, Seminole Dentistry is not like that. They care about their clients. Denise helped a lot to fight the insurance company for what is right and helped make the situation right as well. Again if you have felt uncomfortable or even scared to go to a dentist then you need to go to Seminole Dentistry where they will help make sure you feel better with clean teeth and not make you feel bad.

Fantastic experience: While traveling and 500 miles from my dentist at home I woke up with a tooth problem that needed emergency extraction. Luckily I found Seminole Dentistry and scheduled an appt for early afternoon. Both Dr Cole and her assistant were great and took very good care of me!

Negative experience: Very poor staff experience today. I went in for tooth pain. They wanted to take an exray and I get why but I have one of the worst gag reflexes. I explained this to the staff. They proceeded to pressure me in to trying to take one. I explain several times as they kept pressuring me. Then they started saying right behind me as if I wasn't a foot away."he has tooth pain and he won't even let us try. I don't get it" I spoke up and said "you know I can hear you right you are standing right behind me talking" they proceeded to tell me why they are saying it like I didn't know. They were rude, talked trash while I was sitting there in front of them. They really need to find another type of employment. The way they acted lost the Seminole Dentistry business and are probably causing a toxic work environment for both customers and possibly the employees/employer. I have never been treated nor had that happen in all my life till today. Infuriating ***Your reply does not excuse the fact you treated me poorly by talking trash right behind me nor the pressured situation. You were rude and you aren't even apologizing or sympathetic which speak volumes. Best of luck chasing away customers/patients.

Fantastic experience: A goal of mine for 2025 was to get back to seeing a dentist, and I’m so glad I found Seminole Dentistry! I’ve been really nervous about seeing a dentist as it had been several years since my last appointment and Dr. Ngo and the entire team has made feel calm and made sure I was always okay during my appointments. Can’t recommend this dentist enough!

Negative experience: Worst experience I have ever add and I have had many experiences at dentist w braces, teeth pulled, crowns, root canals ect. Dentist couldn't numb me and then they blames it on medical cannabis. Spent 4hrs trying to pull a tooth with no block to secure my jaw, & no numbing till I gave up- they then refer me to an emergency oral surgeon. Who had me numb in 10mins and tooth out. Was a total nightmare - I will never be back again

Negative experience: If i could leave zero stars i would.. maybe if Dr Moore was still there this wouldn't have happened to me, but it did..i spent a year trying to save as many teeth as i could after two decades with such a severe phobia, I'd let my teeth go, and last year, i paid for it..i spent 10 grand in one year and at least almost 7 grand of it, went to seminole dentistry.. here is my problem..i crowned a tooth they said i needed to for my top partial to be successful..crown, 1250... top partial, nearly 2 grand! Then less than a year later, that super important crown just popped out one day while i was eating ice cream of all things! Almost swallowed it! So there went all that money, because when i went back, and to two other dentists, i was told they ground it down so much that there was nothing to work with to save the tooth and make a new crown.. so now my new partial is rendered useless .. over 3 grand flushed down the toilet, not to mention, i have to come up with this money all over again, plus the money for an extraction.. its been a nightmare that just won't stop. It's just money money money to them it seems and it's sad

Negative experience: Scammers! Original Review: Do not use this dentist unless you want them to screw up your insurance, get pushed for unnecessary procedures, and then have them fail to do anything correct the issue. We were sent to collections over an issue caused by them with no notice or warning. Story time: My wife and I had had both used this dentist for some time but last year it seemed to go down hill significantly. I had always gotten the Fluoride cleaning and confirmed that it was covered by my insurance. For whatever reason, last summer I was incorrectly charged $60 for fluoride at the end of a standard cleaning (not to mention the fact that charging $60 for 10 cents of fluoride is absurd to begin with, I would only ever do this if it's covered). They also insist consistently though to get any random procedure done to pad their bottom line. Who doesn't like making $60 for pouring an ounce of liquid... Called and asked what the issue was, they said it was likely an insurance issue as we had never been charged before and they would take care of it. I had another appointment in October and they said nothing about owing money, so figured it was resolved. Come January, I notice I'm getting emails that have a statement still. On top of that they charged a $5 late fee even though they said they would address the issue and never made additional mention of it. My wife calls, asking why this issue is still happening. They say they never tried to resolve the issue and we still owe money. My wife then immediately called insurance, they said that the dentist billed incorrectly, and sent us a check directly (when billing correctly we never had to receive a check before, it was just taken care of all by insurance). Because we were receiving a check, we went ahead and paid the $60. A few days later though, we received a notice from a collection agency that we owe $65 (w/ the late fee), even though we were resolving the issue, had paid, and they never provided any notice that we would be sent to collections. So we had to solve this entire issue ourselves because the front desk screwed up the insurance charge and then did nothing to help. And now now we need to take care of the collections - who knows if they still won't back down over a $5 incorrect late fee. Seminole Dentistry would rather lose 2 loyal customers and destroy their reputation over an incorrectly charged $60. Don't trust any company that will nickel and dime you rather than provide good service. - Response: This company is at best extremely deceitful, at worst straight up fraudulent. 1) I never intentionally signed anything where I knew I had to pay extra. 2) I used to only do 2 cleaning a year, but your office insisted on a third, saying it's covered. 3) The reply says that insurance did pay me, so if insurance paid me it was covered (which contradicts your statements about #1) and shows an incorrect billing 4) You never made a legitimate effort to collect payment. You said you would resolve this w/ insurance but never did. After we paid you never mentioned collections and sent us to collections anyways. Also, if this charge was from the January exam (not sure why April was mentioned), I've had 2 since then and you never once asked or mentioned the need for payment and still let me schedule more appointments (only reason for not having the latest is because of this ordeal). It's crazy that you would still accept patients that you think are so likely to not pay that you would send them to collections. 5) I never said anything about financing. I was mentioning the late fee which makes no sense to charge if the root cause of all of this is you misbilling the insurance and if it's just a misunderstanding still ridiculous to maintain the charge. The only thing you stand by with your actions here is fraud. If it's a misunderstanding, you made no real effort to resolve it. The Florida Board of Dentistry can help decide if your pushy upselling and incorrect billing practices are really what they want in a dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I always have an amazing experience every time I visit this dentist! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the office is welcoming and comfortable. They make sure I'm informed and at ease throughout every procedure, and I can tell they truly care about my dental health. I love the positive atmosphere and how they make each visit stress-free.

Fantastic experience: I lost my bottom Dentures & was filled with anxiety about the time it takes to have it replaced. Seminole Dentistry alleviated my fears from the first visit. They got me in quick and were as polite as one can be. They were empathetic, polite, and efficient. I was back to eating in no time. When my denture came in instead of having to wait for my next appointment to get them they called me a week before my schedueled appointment to offer me an earlier appointment. Seminole Dentistry is extremely efficient and I highly recommend these fine folks.

Fantastic experience: I am older now and starting to need major work done beyond the sporadic fillings. I am impressed with Seminole Dentistry because they get it right the first time. Downside is I won't have horror stories to share about misalignment, or falling out, or pain.

Fantastic experience: I had never gone to this dentist but was in the search of a new one. I Was having jaw pain and booked an apt online and got in within 2 days. I saw Dr Rida and he was very nice and professional. The last dentist I went to tried to scam me out of a a lot of money and told me I needed all these extra things that I did not need. This practice is very affordable and I’d recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I cannot express how much I truly love and appreciate this dental office. I first came a few years ago and sadly, my insurance took them out of network. I spent two years at a really awful, hasty, commercial dentist. Then I took a new job and that insurance provider had Seminole Dentistry back in network. WOW! That’s the best way to describe the experience. From the super simple electronic forms you fill out before you arrive, to the beautiful lobby, kind front desk staff and most importantly, a comprehensive cleaning. I saw Dr. Ngo, Gwen and Sam and all three were very knowledgeable, helpful and wonderful. Unlike the commercial dental offices, they don’t try to continually upsell you with procedures you do not need. Sam also told me my former dentist left a lot of tarter on my teeth but she took her time to do an excellent cleaning to take care of the issues. I’m so glad to have found my dental family and can’t wait to tell others how well they treat their patients.

Fantastic experience: There is not a lot of dental offices that treat you great and keep you well informed on what procedures you need done and what treatment you should start with first. The doctor was really great I had a crown fall off and they put it back on and the doctor was very professional and the staff was just as great, the dental assistant was just as good as the doctor and she was upbeat and friendly, also the woman at the front desk was very helpful on the paperwork and made sure it was filled out correctly and answer any of the questions I may have had, she also was very upbeat and very friendly. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. 10 out of 10 stars definitely recommend.
