Positive experience: I waited six months for an appointment that I ended up not receiving the cleaning scheduled for the visit. The technician seems to be irritated because I was asking questions about notes in my chart. I was never given an answer to my question, the office manager promised to discuss my concerns with the tech and would call me afterwards. I did not get a call as promised. I will request that the scheduled appointment is canceled. The technician accused me of being unreasonable I disagreed I was disappointed that she left the room for several minutes and when she returned she asked if wanted to proceed with the teeth cleaning. I was very confused since the appointment was for cleaning.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. The doctors and the staff are really nice and professional. I definitely recommend Dental Works. Also there is a girl from Puerto Rico (sadly I don’t remember her name)and she is very sweet and always runs the extra mile for the patients.

Fantastic experience: I will never ever to go another dentist!! I’ve been here a few years, but today really set it in stone. 4 months postpartum, I was so anxious to bring my baby to my teeth cleaning, but didn’t have another choice. As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed with helpful and willing hands. The receptionists took amazing care of my baby for my whole appointment and I felt so at ease. Oh! And my teeth are very clean :) way to go above and beyond, Dental Works!!

The staff addressed me when I came in and was super friendly. They explained various payment options and treatment plans. Once I got to the back, the real pampering started. I have always felt anxiety when going to the dentist regardless what I’m having done. The hygienist made me feel comfortable and reassured me that I would be ok. Thanks for being patient with me!

Positive experience: Dental Works was listed on my insurance network so I called to make an appointment. Before doing so, I asked if they accepted my insurance and was told yes. However, when I came in for my appointment I was not told until they had did X-rays and was working up the cost for the work needed on my tooth that they did not take my insurance. The lady at the front desk failed to tell me before they called me in the back to check my tooth that she ran my insurance when I booked my appointment and that they DID NOT take my insurance. Therefore I ended up having to pay for X-rays ($133.00) when the receptionist knew beforehand my insurance would not pay for me to get the work done. The rest of the staff was.very professional but watch out for the information they give you at the front desk. Unsatisfied

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Dental Works in Burlington, NC! I went in for a cleaning and from the moment I walked in, the front office staff made me feel so welcome. They are always so pleasant and kind, and their warm smiles set the tone for the whole visit. My dental hygienist was excellent. She did a wonderful job with my cleaning and was so nice throughout the whole process. The team truly makes you feel appreciated and cared for every time you come in. They checked everything thoroughly and even helped me get a quick appointment because I had to leave for a 3-day business trip. They scheduled me for the very next day, which was a huge help. The doctor and staff were super friendly, took time to explain my issues, and made a clear treatment plan for me. On top of that, their prices were very reasonable. Fantastic experience: I am a single hard working mother. Trusting God every step of the way my teeth started to hurt a few weeks back I don’t have any dental health insurance. The pain and the anxiety of not having the money was overwhelming but I can’t work if I’m in pain.So I just trusted God made the appointment they worked with me on the payment plan they are some of the most kindest people. Fantastic experience: Dentist and hygienist were both exceptionally kind especially when I expressed my anxiety over dental visits. The recommendation from the Dentist felt like the recommendation he would give his family members. We have been extremely dissatisfied with our current dentist office because in over 5 years they’ve NEVER gotten an estimate correct, and it’s never been on the side of paying less. They were very kind in accepting the choices I’ve had to make in the past due to the cost of dental care. I will definitely go back to get a full work up and estimate of what the dentist recommends and see if I can’t pay in advance. I believe our whole family will be switching!

Fantastic experience: I visited this office twice last week for an urgent cavity treatment. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Big thanks to my dentist Dr. Books for everything!!! Dr. Books is an experienced dentist and very knowledgable. I couldn't even figure out which tooth was fixed simply based on appearance post treatment. More importably, he is very nice and patient to me. He explained each step along the procedure and took time to answer all my questions. He also has excellent dental assistants in his team. I do want to apologize for any inconvenience and trouble I brought to the team due to the change in the treatment plan because of me. Thank you all for your professionalism and kindness. - Jason

Fantastic experience: Very nice dentist I saw. The tech or nurse was extremely sweet. Both alleviated my fear of being at the dentist with so much pain. Found out I didn’t have a cavity thank goodness but I was clamping down on my teeth and grinding them down due to pain I have been having in my belly and back. I do this on a daily basis at home. The fix was easy- a night guard. I appreciate the doctor and nurse so much! I also think the front desk ladies are so nice and friendly and helpful.
