Nicole and Stephanie are also wonderful. Would absolutely recommend this particular Lane Dental location. Awesome, professional, caring team!!

Fantastic experience: Amaya and Dr Glover were fantastic, kind, patient, professional and most important of all, relatively painless. I had an extraction done and felt nothing, not even the anesthetic injections. The front desk is very welcoming and the office is adorable (retro 50's). I am looking forward to my return visit for a cleaning. Definitely 5 out of 5 experience.

Fantastic experience: Lane & Associates demonstrated working with customers who were not accustomed to regular dentist visits. They kept me calm while extractions were done and they gave me a breather before the extractions. We have recommended friends as a referral for future dental work.

She took great pride in cleaning my teeth, flossing and checking for things out of place. Negative experience: I wish I had chosen another dentist to have my procedures done!! I will not recommend them to anybody! From making my appointments on days the Dentist wasn’t even there to very ill fitting dentures be dentures and being told to just eat on both sides of my mouth cause they would pop up on one side when I ate!

I've been to 2 other places trying to get my smile back. At Durham Dental & Implants, Dr. Wm. Lewis had the bold nerve to smirk loudly at my X-Rays. Making fun of my dental hygiene. At Night & Day, female walks in puts her naked hands in my mouth. No gloves. Not a Dentist, not a hygienist. Then flips my top lip with her finger when I spoke of how unsanitary what she did was! That's assault. Lane is the 3rd place. I cannot compliment enough! Dr. Papalinii is as pleasant, decent and courteous as she is beautiful. Dr. Papalinii is thorough, professional ya gem! Keisha, what a beautiful lady inside & out! Respectful, decent, kind, professional, I could go on and on. If any reader is looking for an establishment for any or all of your dental needs Don't delay go to Lane Dentistry 1200 Broad Street, Durham. Kate and Stephanie are equally delightful. From your entrance to your exit patients are treated with respect. First point of contact is important. You are escorted upon your arrival to the Exam Room, with the best hospitable and respectful attitudes. I'm not proud of my dental hygiene. Keisha made me feel comfortable and eased all of my concerns. Dr. Papalini is the same way. When you're done their attitudes are still the same! I felt like the President of United States of America! That's how good they all make you feel. You're escorted to the front desk with the same positiveness you just left and entered with Stephanie and Kate! Listen, I'm not easy to please. Lane Dentistry gets the highest rate and praise.

Positive experience: I have been going now since last October 2024, and as of date and at least 10 appointments, they have not finalized any work in my mouth. It's been sending me to an Orthodontist to have a $200 15 second test that cost me over $200! The lab said that it did not receive the mold of my teeth! The lab said that the mold was not ready, although I had waited 2 weeks and had an appointment only to be called agsin and asked to reschedule my appointment!! The former dentist that I saw inappropriately called me the morning and asked me, "Are you certain that you want to have this much work done in one day?" I was really taken aback and asked why would she call me 2 hours before my appointment and ask me that?! I let them know when I got there to not her her call me again because I was no longer her patient. So, up u til this week when I had an appointment, I was called and told the molding had not come but that she "would keep an eye out for it". I informed her that after the work was done, that I would find a new dentist next year.

Fantastic experience: I have been looking for a dentist in my area. I found Lane, they have many locations but the one in Durham on broad street was the best fit for me. I was able to get an appointment, do my paperwork on the phone and get an appointment that week. The lady at the front check in desk was so helpful with my insurance. The hygienist and doctor were also great!

Positive experience: Before I left the room where they worked on my teeth they asked me to scan the code and told me to leave a five and then literally waited and watched me press five stars… but it was more of a 4. They kept telling me to floss more, but how can I floss more than every day? If there’s something wrong with my teeth the issue isn’t flossing and I’d prefer if we got to the bottom of it. Not quite thorough enough.

Positive experience: Dr Lubeckie was wonderful. Very professional very kind. His front desk staff was extremely rude to me. She complained that I was early for my 830 appointment because I arrived at 8 am. I told her I had never come to that office before and wanted to make sure I was in the correct place and didn’t need to fill out anymore paperwork. She still complained, I said “ please excuse me, I will wait out on the curb if that made her feel more at ease

Fantastic experience: I’d give 6 stars if I could- true professionals at what they do. They give candid feedback and make me feel heard and understood as a client. Couldn’t recommend this practice enough. I used to be pretty terrified of going to the dentist, but lane and associates make me feel great about doing my check ups.

Negative experience: This place is an absolute scam. Scheduled a first time appointment for a regular cleaning. First off, I have no idea who even looked at my teeth since they never said their names. They did x-rays and then started a whole sales pitch on deep cleaning which is of course not covered by insurance, and then REFUSED to do the regular cleaning! They then asked me to sign off on fees for all of these different procedures, which I said I didn’t want, and they said the signature was just to agree that in the future I would need these things. Besides X-rays, they performed zero service for me and said they will be billing my insurance for everything. Scam scam scam. Do not go here. UPDATE: this practice refuses to provide medical records, violating HIPAA, and has also committed insurance fraud by submitting claims for services that were not rendered.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Fischer made sure I was nice and numb, as I am very sensitive on my left lower side of my mouth. She was patient and showed concern for my concerns as well.

Negative experience: I’ve had too many negative experiences with this office to ever go back. My first visit they lost my x-rays. The music is ridiculously loud in the lobby. Also, if I make an effort to show up on time for my apt, I expect to be told I will have over a half our wait to be seen. At the very least come out & apologize for the delay for let me know how much longer it would be. I have nothing negative to say about the doctors. Just the process & atmosphere.

Negative experience: I've been going here for many years; however they've had substantial turnover and services have continued to decline beyond what i would have expected. I haven't had the same hygienist or dentist provide care the past 4+ visits ( 2+ years). This last visit, today barely lastest 30 minutes and the cleaning and polishing was a fraction of what my visits used to be. My hygienist spent time restocking supplies and complaining that he was the only one doing this job while I was I was in the chair waiting for my cleaning (he didn't use any of the items he re-stocked for my visit). I need a filing replaced and the receptionist asked me about a preferred dentist but when you haven't seen the same hygienist or doctor for 18+ months how are you expected to to answer that question? I was very disappointed in this last visit.

She is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and made me feel completely at ease throughout my visit. Negative experience: I had the worst experience at the Durham office. I was in the worst pain that I have ever had. Saw the dentist. They took X-rays. Referred me to the endontist. Had to wait for an appointment. They never informed me that the endontist works at Lane. Prescribed antibiotics and steroids to take care of the pain. The endontist appointment was just for a consult because my insurance would need to be checked before a procedure could be done. The endontist is only there 3 days per week so more waiting. The pain was excruciating. Dentist asked “what are you looking for”? I don’t know? Do something? Asked her to remove the tooth. Response? The guy that does extractions isn’t here and we don’t know what tooth it is after 2 X-rays and an exam. Went home. Cried all night. Didn’t sleep. Called next day and they prescribed stronger antibiotic. Left message asking for pharmacy information. Left message 1 minute after they called and they never called it in and left for the weekend. My pharmacy information was on file. They were not interested or empathetic. Did not seem competent. Went over the weekend to a different office. Identified the tooth in 5 minutes that the first dentist could not find in 2 visits and pulled it. Don’t go there!!!! Btw. Did X-rays both visits. Seems to like to bill insurance for no reason. My husband got an email appointment verification for a cleaning for the same weekend. When he got there they were closed! Update. Just received a text for a balance due going to collections and I never received a bill. Unbelievable!

Fantastic experience: I had the best dental appointment I've ever had in my life and I was there to have 3 fillings replaced at one time.. Staff was extremely courteous and friendly. Made every effort to make me feel comfortable. Was always checking to make sure I was doing ok. I'll never go to another dentist. Dr. Fischer is the best as are the techs. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at this dentistry, and that is something I never thought I’d ever say. My husband goes here and recommended it to me when my older dentist wasn’t having enough available appointment times. I have VERY sensitive teeth and gums and I expressed this ahead of time. Both the nurse(tech), dentist and hygienist continually checked in with me to make sure I was okay. Just so much empathy that was positively overwhelming. My hygienist also gave me info on what to do for the rest of the day to address soreness: warm salt rinses, Tylenol and warm soft foods. Thank you for making me feel like a human, and not “just another patient.”

When I tell you Ms. Lynne came in and took my ex ray and sat down and explained my whole plan to me so that I could understand exactly what was going to be done to my mouth on today’s visit! She is truly an Angel. Now Dr. Saeed is now my New Dentist he was very professional and took care of me! If you can laugh and joke with your dentist. Then way go back!?! Positive experience: The doctors and techs are great; however their office policy is hostile and anxiety inducing. Sure, you can make appointments 6 months in advance but if you miss their texts or phone call 1 day beforehand they will cancel it on you! They tried to pull that with me once and I had to insist they let me keep my appointment. I guess their finances are so poorly managed that a few pcustomer cancellations are breaking their bank. I only go here because it is a pain to switch. I called up another Lane Office and they had over 2 months waitlist; this is why I had to insist they let me keep mine. I get nervous going to dentist even for just a cleaning and they all made me feel comfortable. The dentist thoroughly explained things and gave me plenty of time to ask questions. Atmosphere is great also.

Negative experience: I was at this location today, and besides their unprofessional behavior, as someone who had a scheduled and confirmed appointment, they made me wait an hour so they could call my insurance. The lady (who had no idea what she was doing) told me that my insurance wouldn’t cover the cost and let me leave! In fact, my insurance does cover the cost, but their racism and assumption that I wouldn't pay what they wanted to milk from me caused all of this. I ended up not getting the treatment nor any apology from them. I will not visit this location again, nor will I let any of my friends or family do so. After reading the online reviews, I realized that I should not have gone there in the first place because it is just a place for milking insurance companies and patients' pockets, and it doesn’t do anything worthwhile for the patient’s health. Worth less than 1 star for sure. Additionally, while you are waiting for your turn, you will feel as if you are in a jail or military prison, not in a clinic.

Fantastic experience: Really cool office vibes. Puts you at ease. Very very customer focused from the moment you call to make an appointment to the second you leave. The receptionist who made my appointment was wonderful - she made me laugh. My dentist - outstanding and dental hygienist put me at ease. I'm a tough patient as I'm terrified of dental anything - even the cleaning.. I'll definitely return even though it is way out of my usual travel circle.
