Fantastic experience: I was referred to Burg Children’s dentistry by my dentist, because they felt that this place could help my children more than they could. I was just in there yesterday with my two youngest daughters and they liked how everything was set up (tv’s on ceilings), the office staff were very friendly and helpful and nice. The dental assistants were very professional, helpful, friendly and nice to me and my daughters. The staff is so friendly and amazing, my kiddo is a bit special when it comes to staying still or putting foreign objects around him and they are so patient with him and try to accommodate to his needs. So happy he gets to have a good experience with people who love their jobs and care.

Negative experience: Last time we went all my children still had plaque stuck on their teeth. Additionally, they started x-raying my kids before they had checked my insurance and came up to me afterwards saying the price had changed and there would now be a charge for the ones they had already taken. So I had to pay for those when we really couldn't afford it. Today was the last straw. I don't remember rescheduling them after the X-ray issue and why would I reschedule them for on my birthday? Now we have additional no show fees

Fantastic experience: We have tried two pediatric dentist before we came here and they are by far the best. I brought all 4 of my kids in and everyone on deck were so patient and helpful. They explained everything as well and gave very helpful tips. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We took our 2 year old for his first dentist appointment. We were a little nervous about how he would react, but honestly everyone here is so incredibly nice and calm that our son didn't really have a problem at all. The office is nice and clean and again the staff is amazing! Also, they gave him a toy at the end of the visit which definitely helped. I'm so happy we found them and are excited to keep returning for checkups. I would definitely recommend Burg Children's Dentistry to anyone looking for dental care for their little one. **UPDATE** We've been coming to this location for over 4 years and every time we visit it is a great experience! The reception staff are always friendly and helpful. The dental hygienist we saw today went above and beyond to help my son feel more comfortable with his fluoride treatment and I couldn't be more grateful for their care and reassurance. Dr. Nielson is a wonderful dentist and explains everything clearly and fully.

Positive experience: The had me fill out a form every 3 months who moves in 3 months I think its ridiculous to fill it out every 3 months and the boss told me to fill out just front cover then other girls say to fill all the paper then they said I have to fill all out then they realize oh yeah just the first page.

Negative experience: I took my daughters in for their 3 month cleaning and check up on 4/3/25, everything was going well. The dentist came in and said my oldest daughter had to get some cavities filled, so the dental assistant asked if I wanted to do one quick filling and I said yes that was ok and to do the rest another day( which she didn’t even schedule us for her cavity filling appointment). The dental assistant was gathering her things to do the filling and then started to work on my daughters molar, she started to cure the molar and her light was out of battery, so she had to remove all the material that was on the molar and got up to get a another curing light. While she was doing that my daughter called me over and said her tooth was hurting and so I look and her tooth was bleeding (a loose front tooth) and of course her being little (7 years old)she got scared. As soon as the dental assistant came back with her curing light she said “what happened” I told her “her tooth is bleeding” and as I’m looking for tissues and a cup for water, she walks out of the cubicle and I peek out to see where she was, I see her standing behind the front desk. Little after comes back and I’m telling her what had happened and started arguing with me about it and mentioned that she went over to tell her manager(as I saw her just standing behind the front desk), which her manager didn’t come talk to me at all so that was a lie. She stated she was trying her best to not touch it but she did, but once I told her that she didn’t ask if we needed help or needed anything such as water or tissues, she said “ I saw that you had everything under control so I didn’t need to ask”. She didn’t even apologize to my daughter that she had accidentally put pressure on her tooth. She still has the audacity as well as being petty, asks while still arguing with me if I need any help after I had already looked for a cup for water and tissues for my daughter. She didn’t have anything on hand on her side of the cubicle, I had to get it from the cubicle next to hers. Completely no customer service involved as well as any manners. Clearly she doesn’t care about her job or kids at all, why even bother working with kids in my opinion. Her name is ANALIE worst dental assistant I have come across. I told all of this to the girl at the front desk that checks patients out and she said she was going to talk to her manager which I don’t know if she did. All of this made me really upset and I wouldn’t want any other parent to experience this with their children.

Fantastic experience: Our dental assistant was AMAZING! My daughter is really timid when it comes to the dentist and she got through to her with ease! I was shocked (in a good way) when she was even able to floss her teeth!! The dentist came in and could tell she was again, timid but he was focused and checked her teeth quickly and was conscious about not adding to her fear of the dentist. Best children’s dentist to go to!

Negative experience: we had an appointment, we were a few minutes late and they called us and told us not to come. So we didn’t go and now they’re gonna charge us. FYI, they are very strict on just a few minute deadline.

Fantastic experience: They’re always patient and kind. My little guy was so nervous our first visit. As soon as he knew he had to come back to get two extractions he was REALLY nervous. But the staff is so kind and they talk to the kids like people, explaining what they’re doing and why. After his checkup he is actually excited to get to go back in six months. They’re awesome!

Fantastic experience: This dentist is so awesome! You made my son feel good about his appointments. After moving across the valley, it has unfortunately not been the same experience at another Burg Dentistry office, which makes me sad because I want my son to have a decent experience for one of his first procedures. That being I cannot recommend this specific location enough and keep in mind not all Burg offices are equal.

Fantastic experience: Update 2024: Analie and Maria were my kid's hygienists and they were so fun and engaging. Getting all 3 to laugh and be at ease during their appointment. My 2.5 year old let them take x rays and do a full cleaning and flossing. So did my 5 year old, but I was most impressed with how comfortable they made and worked with my 2.5 year old! We got in and out in under an hour.

Fantastic experience: Analie is the absolute sweetest. She was so great with my three year old. She was fun and bright. Made my son feel so comfortable. 10/10 would recommend. Love he dentist. They are always so quick and kind. The kids loves them.

Fantastic experience: I bring all five of my children to be seen at Burgs Dentistry. We always have a good experience, we do not wait long to be seen. Today Maria helped us and she is very good with my boys she was nice and got my boys in and out very quickly! Which I appreciate! The only wait time to be seen by the dentist takes a while but other then that it's always a good experience.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a difficult morning so I was nervous to bring her in, but with how patient & helpful Analie & Jazmine were it made everything run smoothly. The wonderful front office was able to move my appointment to an earlier time to accommodate my schedule & I overall feel very taken care of here & satisfied with their services. I’ll be back every 6 months. Glad I found a place where I trust the staff with my children’s dental needs!

Fantastic experience: We had a great visit today! Maria, our dental assistant, was very sweet to my son and tried to comfort him. The doctor was very kind and helpful with our questions. They let my son pick out a toothbrush and a prize. When we we’re leaving he said, “The dentist office was super fun!”

Fantastic experience: The receptionist was was as awesome by giving me directions when I was lost and going the wrong way. She knew her surroundings because she went above and beyond her work. That was excellent customer service. The Dentist also knew what he was doing because only took 2 minutes to pull my son's tooth (2 teeth) that was bothering him. He also understood my concerns, as mother would, when it came to taking care of your children

Fantastic experience: It was my daughter’s first time at the dentist and they were fantastic! My daughter was nervous and didn’t want to sit in the chair by herself, but they were very accommodating, efficient, and fast. She also loved the superhero outfit she got in the beginning.

Negative experience: This is probably the worst dentist I have ever taken my kids. The waiting room is dirty. I'm especially inclined to write this review 5 months later because my kids filling fell out. I have never experienced that before and I think the dentist did a poor job.

Negative experience: This is our 3rd time here and every time it has been great except for the last time today. We had a Monday appointment at 9:30am. Me and my 3 year old son waited 20 minutes with no other patients in sight and arriving 7 minutes early. None of the machines were working initially and they had a new employee shooting my son multiple times with radiation for the x-ray even though the machine was not working properly. After some going back and forth from station to station and with some discomfort in the teeth cleaning with no new employee supervision we finally were waiting for the dentist. After another 15 minutes of waiting with my son who is doing his best to be amazing I have to ask if the dentist is coming. Which the response was they were with another patient. Again being the only patients there. When the dentist finally comes around the x-rays are all messed up and the dentist has to manually count his teeth. Since we were short on time because of waiting so long we had a few seconds with the dentist who recommended coming in again to look at a cyst in his mouth we already confirmed with the doctor a week prior. In all the entire visit felt like a waste of our time and insurance money and a money grab for more to offer us to come back in after making us wait longer. We came here because it has exceptional reviews but be warned they are not as they seem.

Negative experience: We have been coming to your office for 2 years. We have had to have a lot of work done on Olivia and she has always had a good experience until yesterday. Your hygienist that we had did not get the x-ray trays in correctly and so they ended up hurting my daughter's teeth. When she flossed her teeth she was aggressive and made her bleed really bad, bringing tears to my daughters eyes, which was never an issue before and then when she tried to explain the importance of flossing she was rude and even argued with my daughter calling her a liar making her feel even worse about her visit. The reason I always love bringing my daughter in to your office is because the staff has always been kind to both my daughter and myself and yesterday that was not our experience. When I told her I didn't appreciate the way she was conducting herself and wanted a new hygienist instead of being empathetic she was again rude and mad at me for defending my child.

Negative experience: After today's appointment I canceled all future appointments. My child had anxiety as I'm sure many other children do, but she wasn't acting absurd. She was literally crying and I was able to calm her down, but the rude remarks that were made was uncalled for. My scared child made him sweat is what he said, he said I have about 5 minutes left we should stop and reschedule 5 minutes left and need to reschedule? Like I said I calmed her nerves. She was only upset cause I stepped out to quickly use the restroom because I couldn't hold it, but was much better when I came back in. I'm not sure how they have a 4.9 rating, but I'm glad not everyone has experienced this.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere professional and friendly staff. My son loved the super hero theme. Fun to be at, didn't feel like the dentist more like an adventure.

Negative experience: We used to like this place. But after my son’s appointment, I canceled all future appointments. Doctor Daniel Linford never greets us, just walks by and goes straight to work. While putting on my son’s crown, he said, “You’re not biting hard enough, you’re biting wimpy. Now we have to do it again.” I understand that you have to get the work done, but I do appreciate kindness. We’re definitely finding a new pediatric dentist.

Fantastic experience: The dentist was amazing here. They made sure my son was comfortable and gave us gas for free for having to pull 4 teeth out. They were super nice, friendly and professional!

Fantastic experience: My children have been coming here for years now. The doctor and staff are always friendly. They have a cute superhero theme throughout the office that my kids enjoy. One of my kids isn’t a fan of dental visits at all, but the staff are patient and try different techniques to look in my little one’s mouth, which I appreciate. The little prizes that they give out after each visit is through coin machines that my children look forward to every visit.

Positive experience: My 8 y/o had to have fillings. She was very scared. I prepared her by saying she could tell the dentist if something was wrong by raising her hand. I also encouraged her to ask questions because knowing helps alleviate fear. She was ignored. She started to get panicky because they wouldn’t stop to address her. Just kept saying , “ almost done”. They also kept telling her “harmless” lies about this won’t hurt, only a few seconds more, and my favorite, “you can’t feel that.” I understand she’s young, and it’s easiest to just get the job done. But this destroys trust of dentists, parents, and adults in general. Still, they did a good job, and except for the gas-lighting were kind and encouraging. I would recommend them to other parents, but with the caveat that if your child is over the age of five prepare them for the reality because the dentist and assistants will not.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful first dentist experience for my 3 year old son! Which was a huge relief as I was nervous about how it would go. Dr. Dan and his staff were absolutely amazing!! I can’t remember her name but a special shout out to our lovely dental hygienist who made it fun for my son as well as made him feel comfortable! He even got a little prize at the end. I will most definitely recommend Burg Children’s Dentistry to everyone!!

Fantastic experience: Really aware and attentive to my young daughter. Talked to her and didn't push the issue if she wasn't willing to have something done. My daughter is 2 and already feeling more comfortable there just based on the few visits we've had because they care about how your child feels. The staff there are great and spend the time to make your little one feel happy about seeing the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Great place to take your kids. My kids love Dr. Dan. They know exactly how to help my kids and make going to the dentist not so scary. My youngest had to have temp. silver crowns put on her baby back bottom molars since she had such big cavities and while she did feel some pain, Dr.Dan made sure she was as comfortable as possible. None of my kids ages 17 through 5 have any issues with going to the dentist because of how great Dr. Dan is with them.

Negative experience: Today I left work early to get my kids to their dental appointment, pulled up to the office and the doors were locked! I called scheduling only to be told they are sorry they adjusted their hours. Well no one called me to inform me that my appointments were canceled or to reschedule. I asked if they charge patients for not canceling appointments within 24 hrs and was told yes they charge $35 per patient…well Burg I’ll be looking for my $70 for my waisted time and time I took off work. This is so unprofessional, inconsiderate and really frustrating. As a single mom on one income my time matters and missing work seriously affects me. I hope to get a response because this is not okay.

Negative experience: We’ve been coming here for a few years and used to love this place! This year has been extremely frustrating. We’ve had numerous appointments and each time it is with a completely different dentist. Each dentist has a different treatment suggestion, some have great bedside manner, others have been cold and dismissive. This has actually made my 4 year old scared of coming. It really is a gamble each time. We’re needing to find a new dentist since my 4 year old has had the same tooth ache for 3.5 months since every “follow up” appointment is with a different dentist and we leave with a new treatment plan and not addressing the problem. In the last 3 months we have seen 4 different people. When I’ve requested to see a specific person because I’ve disliked seeing so many people, I’m told that the person is just filling in and can’t be requested. I’m planning on finding a new office that has 1-2 dentists within the office and doesn’t schedule you randomly with rotating staff.

Fantastic experience: Everyone went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service, and help my kids feel comfortable and truly enjoy their dental visit. My kids can not wait to go back! Their service was truly appreciated!

Positive experience: It's a nice place and they were very patient with my child. I think it would be nice if they had headphones to go along with the TVs they have on the ceilings. I think it would help keep the kids distracted from the noises of the dental tools. Just a suggestion!

Fantastic experience: Burg dentistry is beyond amazing. I take all three children there and they love it. In fact one time my son was sick so I had to reschedule and my girls were mad at him for being sick, making them miss the dentist. They always are fast, and very considerate of my time. Very caring towards the kids and making sure they are comfortable and not scared.

Fantastic experience: Thank you! After 6 years of having a really hard time at the dentist my son was finally able to do a regular appointment and let the dentist look at his teeth! We even got x-rays for the first time ever too! Thank you for being so patient and understanding and working with a child who has extreme anxiety about seeing the dentist!

Fantastic experience: First, I have to say this place is just great. The staff are all awesome with kids. The layout is really chill for kids, no long scary halls and enclosed rooms. Just a really smart design and all the kid friendly amenities. Went in for a cleaning, they found other problems and were able to address them. They were so thorough and efficient with time that it really seemed like didn't even have to wait at all. Lastly and most important to me, I'm a single dad, first time getting kid in to a dentist. When I told them that they didn't make us feel uncomfortable at all. They identified the problems talked to me about them. Within a minute they had a schedule for visits broke down into "phases". Now, in a couple weeks my daughter will keep rocking that perfect smile. Thank you so much, from me to everyone at Burg Children's Dentistry!

Negative experience: It’s a nice place but the staff isn’t the best. The assistant seemed to have little patients for my child with autism. Was not friendly at all and seemed to ignore anything myself or my child would say to her. The location in Murray treated my son way better. I do not recommend this location at all.

Negative experience: Normally we have a great experience at this office. My last visit however was not so great. I had to return because the filling that was put in my daughter's tooth came out 8 days later. Which was no problem, things happen and it was at no charge. The problem was the treatment we received was drastically different than our previous visits. The dental assistant was cold and they did nothing to ease my child's discomfort. Instead of giving her gas and taking care to cause as little pain as possible they skipped these steps to get us out their door as quick as possible and caused her pain and anxiety. The usual token given at the end of the visit to get a little prize was also skipped. I felt like since we weren't forking out more money all the usual treatment was out the door. They are the most expensive dentist I've ever visited which was fine when my child felt comfortable, but at this point I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Every time my family visits Burg Dentistry we always have a wonderful experience, from the friendly receptionist, the very personable and friendly dental assistant to Dr. Dan! They are all wonderful! If you want your kids to have an amazing, non traumatic experience at the dentist I highly recommend Burg! We go to the Oquirrh location and Dr. Dan is the best! They took the time to make him feel comfortable

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my son here for 2 years and they are absolutely great with him. They’re friendly and deal so well with hesitant or scared kids. He actually enjoys going to this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Took my son for his first dentist appointment and of course he wasn't too happy. They handled him so well! Didn't get irritated or make us feel uncomfortable for having the screaming child. They are awesome!!

Fantastic experience: Apparently we showed up an hour early for our kids' appointment but they were able to get them in almost right away. The cleanings were quick as well. Kayla and Rachel were very good with the children.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Burgs children dentistry for a couple of years! My kids love coming here and they have such an amazing staff. They get to play, dress up, watch movies all while getting their teeth cleaned up! They get us in quickly and have a very flexible schedule unlike our previous dentist. I recommend this place to all of my friends and family! Rachel was a great help to us and was super friendly.
