Negative experience: I wanted to like this place but the service was just not it. The doctor I saw could barely explain anything I asked. When I went in for my sedation extraction he could not start my iv had to get another doctor to do it. ( he was very nice wish I could have saw him.) I woke up during procedure in pain & they told my husband that I was crying because I’m a female. Called back 6 days later to try and get my extraction site looked at because I’m having some issues & the front desk girl down played all my problems & told me they wouldn’t be able to see me. And she was quite rude. I would go elsewhere & pay out of pocket before I went back here. Disappointing to say the least.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cain was so friendly and kind! Had 4 wisdom teeth removed without sedation and it went quickly! He made sure I would be comfortable at home and sent in meds and gave me care instructions at home for a smooth recovery! His assistant was also really sweet and helped keep me calm!

Fantastic experience: I really wish I could give more than 5 stars. This place is phenomenal. I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out today without IV sedation. They made sure I was comfortable, numb and once I had a little laughing gas I was good to go! Even through the procedure they made sure I was comfortable, if I felt a pinch they numbed me a little more. Thank you Columbia Dental Health for taking care of me, being patient and making me comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I had an accident requiring teeth to be pulled over the years by different dentists. And nothing scared me like the thought of going to the dentist. But not anymore! Dr John Coleman has made getting teeth pulled about as pleasant as I think it could be. I honestly believe the man was born to do what he does. And their prices are reasonable. I would give 10 Stars if I could for the dentist and the staff.

Fantastic experience: This place was awesoooome ! I had 2 teeth extracted in under an hour…the dr was so sweet and nice and made me feel so comfortable as well as his assistant . Will definitely recommend and I’m glad I’ve found a dental office I can trust

Negative experience: Very unprofessional!! Says business hours are from 8.am to 4pm and I’ve taken off from work twice to get documents from office but they were closed at 3:00 to 3:15 both times. If you’re going to close at 3 just make business hours from 8am to 3pm and not 4pm and it would also help if you all reply back to patients emails sometimes.

Fantastic experience: I give this place a 10/10! Very quick fast friendly and very gentle. I had to get my wisdom tooth pull and it was done in less then 20 mins!

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give more stars. Today was the best dental experience I have ever had. Got my teeth pulled and didn't feel anything. 4 hrs later and still feel nothing. Lol. They even had me laughing during the procedure. Best of all, they were willing to work with me on the cost. So a big thank you to Dr Cain, Anthony, Kaylee, and especially to Dr Mike (I hope I'm right. Young military Dr. Forgive me if I got your name wrong.) Fantastic experience: Everyone on the staff was great and the environment was very relaxed and efficient. Very good dentistry to go to.

Negative experience: This company is very hungry for your money. They chase you by text and email you for payment. I never seen this before. They charge you $125 without x-ray and $94 if you bring your own x-ray for an evaluation (just to talk to the doctor for a treatment plan). I think personally that is unfair and a waste of money. This should be free like everywhere else. He only told me to wait 2 more years to remove my son's wisdom teeth. Before going there, do your research and ask questions. Some staff are professional and others aren't. The customer service is a young lady that doesn't answer your questions very clearly and not friendly and knowledgeable. The place looks clean but the parking lot has a big deep bump in it will mess up your tires,be careful when driving there. This is my honest opinion. I hope they make some changes one day and improve his business and care more for the patients pocket .This would be a dream come true.

Negative experience: Thanks everyone for your reviews. The patient reviews were all so helpful. The responses by the owner, co-owner, or staff members changed my opinion. Some of the reactions from the dental office were unprofessional and, many times, juvenile. Whatever happened to doctor/patient relationships where the doctor goes over the treatment plan with the patient to agree??? I’ve learned over the years to seek out as much information as possible before allowing any medical performer to touch you, even something as small as your breath.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and the staff was so amazing ! Dalylah was amazing as well. I can’t remember the dentist that pulled my teeth but it was easy breezy process and I felt so comfortable and didn’t feel anything at all. I’d definitely give them a 10/10 and would refer them to anyone. I’ve never met a staff amazing as them. Thank you guys so much for welcoming me with open arms and making the process easy for me. Fantastic experience: 10/10 experience!! I highly recommend this place. They are super friendly and I had an appointment for my wisdom tooth and once they started I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled out in under 10 minutes and I didn’t feel a thing!!

Negative experience: Had a driver take off work to take me for extractions. Made an appointment weeks ahead, filled out all necessary paperwork online. Arrived 30 mins before appointment time. Wited over 2 hours after my apt time and watched walk-ins get taken in before me. Walked out. Never going back.

Fantastic experience: I called to inquire about an appt to get a tooth extracted. They were able to get me in the very next morning. It was a consultation but was given the option of getting my tooth extracted while I was there, so I wouldn't have to come back. I chose to make a separate appt. Awesome staff and super great experience from start to finish! I will update my review once I actually get my tooth extracted as I will be seeing a different doctor next week. So far, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this facility to anyone needing dental work. Very, very pleased with my experience today and very grateful for the care shown to me by everyone with whom I had the pleasure of meeting.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff! I’ve never had any dental work done other than the usual cleaning so I was extremely anxious before my appointment. This didn’t last long, as the staff are very professional and reassuring. They did a great job and pain was very minimal throughout procedure. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: Had a great experience with the staff here. Had an adrenaline rush from the epinephrine that's apparently in the lidocaine that caused me a bad panic attack for a few minutes but once I calmed down I was fine. The doctor and assistants got me a fan and helped me get calm. The wisdom tooth extraction went by pretty quickly once actually started (there's a bit of pre-op prep) and the actual extraction didn't hurt and was fast. I was so grateful to have them out. Doctors were kind and understanding overall. Thank you.

The provider made sure the procedure was painless, sent scripts to the appropriate quickly, and made sure all my aftercare questions were answered. Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing staff! I was extremely nervous and had a very friendly dental assistant clam me down as best he could. He may not have realized how nervous I was because I keep a cool composure but if it was not for this super friendly gentleman who talked me through everything and kept checking on me I may have tried to reschedule because of nerves. This if by far the best dentist office I have ever been to as an adult. The dentist himself was also very great and knowledgeable! Super quick procedure(wisdom tooth extraction). 10/10 recommend!

Negative experience: My appointment is tomorrow at 12 and I have about 3/4 teeth that need to be removed and lord knows that I am phobias and so terrified of the dentist, I guess from my pass experience where they numb me and when it was time to have my procedure done I literally felt everything as if they didn't numb me. I don't know maybe I wasn't numb properly but it sure as heck traumatized me for life. My last time being to a dentist is when I had to under go general anesthesia for all of my wisdom tooths including two regular teeth that needed to be removed and that was about 3 years ago. Now I scheduled me a appointment with Creston dental who referral me to Columbia Dental clinic and I hope I have a truly great experience with them how others have had great experience. My twin sister gotten her wisdom tooth pulled last week Thursday and she say she didn't felt anything and that they had her tooth out in an out 5 sec and she was up and out of there which is a great experience to have and I'm willing to have that same type of experience to where I don't feel anything.

Fantastic experience: Super awesome and amazing doctors and staff! Was nervous about my extraction but they made the experience so much nicer and less stressful than I had imagined possible. Clean facilities and plenty of parking. Veteran friendly and are within the VA network for when they need to send you out to community care for dental. They were able to get me in last minute and had me taken care of with effort above and beyond my expectations. 10 out of 10! Definitely highly recommend.

Positive experience: If I were reviewing only the dentist and his hygienist, I would ABSOLUTELY give this place 5 stars! My son had to have his wisdom teeth removed. They offered full sedation, laughing gas/local, or just the local. Now....the reason for the 3 stars.... We had to travel 1 and half hours to get there. Technically, not their fault. However, knowing this, we were 3 minutes past the cutoff time for our appointment and the receptionist just would not let us keep our appointment. The hygienist even came out and asked if we were there, but the receptionist hurried I over to inform her. I was beyond furious, to say the least. To sum it all up... Go see Dr. Cain and his team, just don't be late!

Fantastic experience: Loved them! Very fast, very comfortable. Doctor Cain talked me through the whole process, made sure i was aware of everything he was. I definitely recommend! His assistances are just like him, they keep you aware of what’s going on, they make sure you’re ok throughout the whole procedure. It was very painless and very fast! It is literally all about you when you’re here!

Fantastic experience: I can't thank this office enough as what they helped my Granddaughter Zoey .She had been in pain for a week with a wisdom tooth .Everyone else said sept or October. Within one day we had appointment the next day .They are amazing from the front Desk to the very end .I can't remember names but the guy in the hat was awesome he had Zoey so comfortable and she wasn't scared anymore. I told him he could be a comedy. He was the best the Nurse and Dr they explained everything they were going to do and made her experience very comfortable. Fantastic experience: Dr. Cain and his assistant (I totally forgot his name but he is a younger man with curly/wavy hair) were nothing short of AMAZING! I am deathly afraid of the dentist and needed this tooth removed. His assistant knows how to speak to you and ease your mind. Also knows how to make you giggle. I can’t stress enough how important this is in dentistry because the phobia of having your mouth operated on is REAL. Dr. Cain was understanding and let me know everything he was going to do before he did it. I hate getting the injections but the way he conducted my injections were the best I’ve ever had. They succeeded my expectations and that is not easy to do with me since I cannot stand getting my mouth operated on. Cannot recommend them enough. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Despite serial bad reviewers such as "Jay D" who seem to make a living reviewing " the worst place they've ever been" I had a wonderful experience here. Everyone was kind and friendly, very patient with me and on an added note painless numbing and if you've had as many crowns as I have that means something. Highly recommended and I hope everyone has as good an experience as I did.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU'RE IN PAIN!!! This clinic, & its staff, are a prime example of what's wrong with the healthcare system now; Doctors prioritizing their own self-preservation above patient advocacy & care. I was referred here via the VA, of course, as I'm a Disabled Veteran & it was immediately & abundantly clear why they've partnered with this particular establishment; because they also lack basic human decency. The VA dental clinic experience was bad enough, then I was sent here where I was treated like cattle & denied the dignity, respect, & compassion that they claim to strive for within their mission statement. The Doctor reviewed the recommended treatment plan from the VA & suggested it be altered in a way that, to me, felt inane as the end goal & result remained the same; the only difference being that the process would double in time, appointments, & MONEY....I didn't find any reasonable explanation for prolonging the process in the way he was suggesting, other than to maximize profits for their clinic, (IMO). Their recommendation would've been a much more extensive, & painful overall option. Speaking of which, I went there with an ENTIRE MOUTH full of broken, infected teeth & was refused any sort of pain relief. Before anyone rolls their eyes here-I'm in an unbearable amount of pain from this & dental pain is so much more acute. I have chronic GI issues so I'm unable to take most OTC medications as well. The Doctor, verbatim, said that he "would not risk his livelihood" to ease this pain. When my husband & I called to get some clarity on the suggested treatment plan-we were transferred to a staff member named Kayla. She was instantaneously combative, abrasive, condescending, & outright demeaning; I could go on & on. She spent the entirety of the conversation gaslighting me by making patronizing & dehumanizing remarks such as "you're not a human being" when I said I just wanted to be treated as such; "Your personal choices are why you're suffering" referring to my MEDICALLY NECESSARY anesthesia requirement, citing that it's a preference & not a necessity, even though the procedure couldn't be scheduled for another (2) weeks regardless, while in the interim, I'm not sleeping, eating, or functioning well because of the severity of the pain. Medical institutions spend more time gaslighting a patient than they do advocating on their behalf & it's morally reprehensible. Again, when speaking with Kayla, I contested the decision to refuse me treatment for this she says "What are you expecting, a morphine drip?" Which is when I said, "No, I want to be treated like a human being" to which I received the response "Well you're not a human being." If they're willing to treat patients with such flagrant disregard, then they should seek alternative career paths. Patient care & comfort should always be a priority as it's intrinsic to fundamental medicinal practice. To denounce the use of stronger pain relievers entirely because you're concerned about bureaucratic overreach, then you should definitely not be a doctor. I'm sick to death of the "opioid crisis" being cited to justify making patients suffer, it's negligent & morally detestable. Pain exists & it's real & should be treated as such. Patients shouldn't be shamed for being in pain beyond their control & we certainly shouldn't have to feel afraid to advocate for ourselves & ask for help, but we are because of places & people just like this one. RUN.

Fantastic experience: 10⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm always very nervous at dentist visits and I had a few teeth that needed attention. I went for my first session and Dr Coleman is extremely great at his profession. Excellent mannerisms, very gentle and calming, takes the time to listen and answer any questions you may have. I was numbed with the topical gel, I barely felt the Needle for the local anesthesia, I only felt very light pressure during the extraction and it happened so quickly. His assistant is the best as well. They both delivered top notch care. I will be more calm on my next visit bc of this one. The ladies at the front desk were very nice as well. Highly recommend!!!

Positive experience: The quality of care at this dentist is spot on. Very personable staff. However, the wait times are a bit long for my taste. Both times I've been on time for morning appointments. They take you to the room almost right away but then you wait at least thirty minutes before a dentist actually sees you. In my opinion, they need to tighten up in that particular aspect. Additionally, the techs have their own style of music playing in the rooms. In my case it was R&B and rap. Drove me crazy. But overall a quality place.

Fantastic experience: Office staff was very nice and was able to work me in as a new patient to address my needs. The front office administrators were very nice and efficient. There was little to no wait time before I was called back. The assistant was kind, knowledgeable and helpful in assessing my immediate issues. The doctor was prompt, professional, and had amazing bedside manner! He explained my options and made sure to answer any and all questions and concerns before performing the needed treatment. He was beyond gentle and made every effort to communicate with me throughout the procedure to make sure I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort. The treatment was completed very quickly and I was on my out the office with all needed materials to aid in my recovery. I would highly recommend this office for your dental needs!

Positive experience: They were great , the doctors are so nice there and everyone was so friendly and helpful, the only reason I am giving 4 stars that I was asked about the pharmacy I wanted to have my description from and it was 3 mins away and when I went there unfortunately they said there is no description under my name, I called they said it will be once the doctor sign it I waited another 15 minutes nothing came through. but as someone that just extracted his teeth I want this medication asap! So I was a little bit disappointed it would be nice if it was explained that it will take some time to send it since they know the pharmacy was 3 minutes away. Other than that they deserve 5 stars.

Negative experience: Don't waste your time, they don't have a doctor certified to put you out, they charged $800 to remove 2 teeth, no antibiotics after the extraction sent me home with mouth wash and Tylenol. I came back said it was still hurting and only was prescribed ibuprofen. They have NO humanity or care about leaving you suffering after they get your money.

Fantastic experience: I must say I never had a good experience with a dentist office until today!! Everyone at Columbia Dental Health Clinic was and is AMAZING!!! From the time I walked through the door they were all very friendly and helpful! I had the privilege of seeing Dr Holt and his assistant Kayleigh! I can’t say enough nice things about these two!!! As I am sure everyone else is just as nice!! But I must say Dr Holt is the most gentle and compassionate dentist I have ever dealt with!!! I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone!!! Fantastic experience: I used to suffer from severe dental anxiety, to the point where I would have nightmares the night before and even after my dental appointments. However, my experience at Columbia Dental Health Center has completely changed that. Unlike my previous dentist, this is the only dental place where I feel comfortable and at ease. The staff, including Dr. Carr and his team, have been incredibly understanding and compassionate. They not only provide excellent dental care, but they also take the time to ask and remember personal details about me, which makes me feel valued as a patient. During my last extraction, I was pleasantly surprised by how calm and relaxed I felt. The team at Columbia Dental Health Center truly listens to my concerns and fears, as they pay attention when I raise my hand with a thumbs up or down to indicate my comfort level. After the procedure, I didn't experience any negative emotions or discomfort. In fact, my mouth feels great, with minimal swelling. I am truly grateful to have found an orthodontist that works for me at Columbia Dental Health Center. Thank you so much for providing such exceptional care and helping me overcome my dental anxiety.

Fantastic experience: My first time experience begin here at the place & I can actually say when I walk thur the door the women at the desk are very friendly, respectful, didn’t have any problems the Dr he was amazing he didn’t take no more than 10 mins of getting all 4 of wisdom teeth out! Negative experience: This Dr wasn't very insightful and showed very low energy towards me.He wanted to rush procedures without answering some concerns I had and became upset when I asked questions about some things he wanted to do and told me he won't help me and not to come back..his assistant on the other hand was more understanding and gave me a referral I asked for to see a specialist. I felt like I was just a Medicare number not a senior needing help.Real painful help.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cain is absolutely amazing and his bedside manner is superb. My daughter came in today to have several teeth extracted and he made use both feel so comfortable. He had my daughter and I laughing the entire time. They treat you like family. I can’t remember his nurses name that was in the room with us but she is so sweet and she genuinely cares about the patients as well as Dr. Cain.

Positive experience: Had a tooth extraction here about a week ago the actual dentist in the back did amazing and deserves 5 plus stars. I called ahead to make sure my senior parents were allowed to wait in the waiting room an hour before my appointment they told me yesterday they can sit and wait in the waiting room on the phone. But when I got there they told me it was patient room only and made my senior parents wait out in the car. But another couple of seniors were allowed to wait in the waiting room. The office people should get NEGATIVE 5 STARS just by going back on their word and because they did that I probably won't be back for the way they treated my parents. GREAT DOCTORS HORRIBLE RECEPTION OFFICE STAFF!!!

Fantastic experience: Took my step daughter here to have her wisdom teeth extracted. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. This was her first time ever having an extraction therefore she was very nervous. The dental assistant Anthony was so helpful.. he made sure she understood the procedure, what to expect and the options we had. He Made the both of us feel very comfortable. And threw in some occasional jokes.. (which really helped) The Dentist that preformed the extraction “Dr.Coleman” was Awesome ..with her having ALL four wisdom teeth extracted!! We opted out of being put to sleep for the procedure but did choose mild sedation.. she felt little to nothing during the procedure which I was allowed to be present for due to her being 17. it didn’t take long at all..2nd day and she’s only having some mild discomfort. (Which would be expected) I would definitely recommend this office to others

Fantastic experience: This was the best dental practice I have ever visited. The staff is so friendly, it's extremely clean, and efficient. I went in for an X-ray that resulted in a pretty rough removal of a couple of wisdom teeth. The process was easy, and the staff was just amazing and helped ease any concerns. After care rundown by my dental assistant was great. The dentist that did the extraction was kind, patient, and concerned. Absolutely stellar customer service.. 100/10

Fantastic experience: I must start by saying I have dental phobia and nearly every experience I’ve had was traumatic in some way but NOT at Columbia Dental Health Center! Their staff are amazing people and my experience today was nothing short of a miracle! Dr. Cain was super nice, knowledgeable and patient with me throughout the entire process! His assistant definitely kept me calm and comfortable and reassured me every step of the way! I am well pleased and grateful for their work!

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough WONDERFUL things about this place! All employees are EXCEPTIONALLY nice and educated! State of the art equipment! Dr. MADE SURE I was well numbed up( I DIDN'T even know exactly when my tooth was extracted!) Most PLEASANT dental experience I've ever had in my 51 years!( and I've had ALOT!)

Fantastic experience: Ive been to dozens of doctors in my life, and i was VERY pleased with Dr. Cain, his entire medical staff, and the quality of this small facility as a whole. The whole place was very clean (even in the lobby), everywhere i saw utilized nice-appearing modern equipment, the WHOLE staff was very polite and professional, they knew exactly how to treat my emergency, they were extremely considerate to my pain and concerns, and i ABSOLUTELY recommend this place to anyone!! High quality work!!! The best part for my situation was finding someone of this desired quality who also accepted medicaid! I was apprehensive before i left home that my medicaid would subject me to a procedure performed behind a dumpster with rusty tools, but I truly felt like i struck gold finding them. Im 24 hours post extraction now, and am healing wonderfully with no mishaps. They gave me back my quality of mouth again, and were very good at answering questions and providing post-op instruction. Thank you thank you thank you!!! If i have another dental emergency in columbia, this is where ill be going absolutely.

They asked multiple times if I had any questions and made sure I knew what they were doing. Told me to call if I had any questions or needs after. Hands down best dental office I've ever been to.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank Dr.Holt and the rest of the staff. It was easy to make an appointment. The stuff was very professional. They quick saw all there patience. Because they have a full staff. I was very impressed. I was specially looking for somebody that could extract a tooth. (Many places can do it; because they do surgery, dentures and tooth extractions. But they'll tell you no, when you call.) Thank goodness this place really show compassion and helped me. I was in pain. Because of a mixup at other place weeks earlier. The pay was very reasonable. I really appreciate the fact that they were so professional. They really do right by their patients. I definitely will recommend them to family, friends and acquaintances.
