What I like best about this place is how welcoming they make you feel , which plays a big part in the experience for the patient all together . My daughter is already not looking forward to the appointment and what has to get done , so the fact that the team here is so welcoming and reassuring; constantly asking if the patient is okay during the procedure ; is exceptional service to me. We got assisted by Elias today , Not to mention the cleanliness of the office overall, also happy and comfortable with . Will definitely be recommending this site to family and friends .

Negative experience: I did a contract with them for my daughter to get braces and I live in another state. I specifically told the manager or whoever BEFORE I signed any contract that I can only take my daughter on Saturdays because I live in another state, she said it was not a problem. It started off great! But then they would say there wasn’t any Saturday appointments available so my daughter was being seen almost every 3 months and she was supposed to be seen monthly. So I changed orthodontist and I’ve been trying to get my daughters information and I still almost a year later and no paperwork and my daughters teeth are shifting

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience at this location! I previously got a bonded retainer here 3 years ago and needed to return for a new plastic retainer today. The staff were all pleasant including the front desk, assistants, and doctor. This is my go to place to keep my smile looking beautiful. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the Ismile Yonkers office! The dental hygiene staff is very knowledgeable, respectful and caring. The braces/Invisalign process is explained in easy to understand language. The payment plans and appointments are very flexible. And there is just a great vibe (and music)as you step into their office. These are the only appointments that my teens don’t complain about. So that tells you a lot! My teeth look great after my Invisalign treatment and my teens are also seeing great results. I must also commend, Brian the office manager. He answers all of my questions patiently, and coordinates my children’s appointments so that they are seen within the same time frame. A huge plus for busy moms! Dr. Chung, the orthodontist is also amazing. He explains treatment options without any pressure and never rushes to get to the next patient. He even remembers my children’s names!! This office is the place to be for orthodontic care!!!

Fantastic experience: I went in today, 7 months after getting my braces off, because I lost my retainer and noticed my teeth had shifted. Brian took care of me and honestly went above and beyond—he made sure I was able to see the doctor for an evaluation even though it was late in the evening. I really appreciated the extra effort, especially when I felt like all was lost! The doctor explained to me the different options I had to get my smile back and made me feel at ease. Shoutouts to Brian as well as the team who truly care about keeping your smile looking great and making sure you're taken care of, even long after treatment ends. Negative experience: I went for a consultation for my son who is autistic. I decided not to go ahead with the braces as my son wasn’t ready. They told me that in order to lock the price, I needed to leave my credit card number, in case my son changed his mind. So imagine my surprise when I couldn’t get my money back. But that’s not even the worse of it: They gave my credit card info to their financial dept who sent me a text telling me they will deduct monthly fees for braces he never received. I have been calling every day but I am being royally ignored. I will never let them get away with it. This is ridiculous. So let this be a warning for anyone who is interested in their “services.

Negative experience: Everyone was kind and helpful. Mostly efficient service. But the hygiene standards here really turned me off. The place looks clean to the eye but not everyone is wearing PPE while doing things in your mouth, I saw someone put their PPE on in the wrong order (gloves then mask), not hand washing before clients etc. Would be nice to see that people working inside your mouth make it their mission to provide 100% cleanliness and compliance with best practices. It's a shame because I otherwise liked the vibe of the office, but hygiene is paramount to me in a medical office. Sadly won't return. Hope I didn't catch anything while in there but this was my only choice for a quick visit.

Negative experience: Duway and Brian the managers strung me along for 8mths only to charge my insurance double the cost of what al the neighboring competition charges. DO NOT GO HERE! DO your hw and go somewhere nearby, as these people double and triple charge! The managers are not forthcoming unfortunately.

Negative experience: Terrible practice on the clerical aspect. Managers are not accommodating and worst part is they charge SIGNIFICANTLY more than all of the other orthodontists. I am extremely curious if Dr Steve the owner is aware of how his practice is being run or not at this location!

Negative experience: I don’t usually do reviews but this place has the worst financial team to write up contracts and I’d advise anyone to find a different office. I started my treatments back in 2022 and the women who did my contact must have been stealing from the company and so the money I put down was never credited to me. Not to mention they don’t really care what you want your smile to look like it’s what the doctor wants. Any concerns you have will most likely be put on the back burner… I regret spending $6,620 and counting with this office. I don’t know why anyone would subject themselves to walking into an office where nurses seem very judgmental and full of themselves except for a select few. Given the chance again I rather have driven into the city to a place that cares for my wants and needs than deal with this place ever again. Needless to say I rather mop the Pacific Ocean with dollar tree lashes than spend one more dime on this facility.

Negative experience: my end result was not what I expected. Some teeth on the bottom were still misaligned and on the top as well. I’m guessing they couldn’t fit along with my wisdom teeth but this was not disclosed at the beginning of my treatment. When removing the braces the Ortho was extremely careless, when I got home and removed my retainers, there were swirl marks on my front teeth from when he removed the brackets and glue. Also the retainers that are given to you at the end of the treatment are very sloppy and clunky, I had to do adjustments to them myself when I got home. They don’t give you the option of getting permanent retainers when the cost is the same as the clear ones when you have to replace them. It’s a busy office so you’re just a number, wish I would have gone somewhere else that was more professional

Negative experience: The overall appt was okay and somewhat professional. The rep that took my appt got the date mixed up, no biggie. Than the antics of even getting the kids involved with a basketball raffle is catchy. BUT!!! Needless to say, I haven't heard back from the office since our appt a month ago about getting braces on my child. I called to get a follow up the rep said two to three weeks they will call me.....I heard from the insurance company 1st and only! Update: I went to another location and the copay is MUCH cheaper. Shop around 1st.

My son is extremely nervous about going to the dentist, they made him feel very comfortable and were very very patient with him, explaining every step of the braces application to him and making sure he felt comfortable. Negative experience: Terrible!! Mu daughter got braces last year followed by a retainer (just a few months ago - not even a year) covered by insurance. Now on our follow up the Dentist tells me her retainer does not look good because there is a gap.. and we need to make a new one and it will cost me $300 WHAT??!

Fantastic experience: I normally don’t write reviews but I felt the need to share my thoughts and feelings about this practice. All 3 of my daughters have gone there and my last one just begun her treatment. It has been nothing short of a superb experience. Let me begin by saying that the staff is very professional, always wearing masks and even head covers! Impressive since very few facilities do this. They work with me on accommodating the appointments with my work schedule. The doctor himself is a very pleasant man, professional with phenomenal bedside manners. Had our one month visit wit her retainer and it was a quick visit to make sure the teeth did not shift and my daughter has been using her retainer well. The doctor gave her his undivided attention and said things are looking great!

Fantastic experience: My friend recommended me to ISmile White Plains and they didn't disappoint.This place is amazing and the office is beautiful. I couldn't ask for better service. They assisted with payment options also. They accomodated appointment changes and emergency appointments. The treatment was fast even with the complexity of my daughter's case and she has a beautiful smile now. A+, it's the place to go if you need orthodontic services.

Negative experience: I visited iSmile Orthodontics at White Plains and this time I was disappointed. The young lady who serves my son did not know what she was doing. She was very rough, over stretching my son's mouth, he was tearing almost crying. Her coworker could see and had to come assist her. This is the first time I am truly unhappy and I mentioned it to the customer service representative.

Negative experience: Worst orthodontic experience of my life. I was young so I didn't know anything about orthodontics at all. Seriously long waiting times, you will be in the waiting room for hours before you are called. Orthodontists and front desk aren't professional at all either. You get a different orthodontist every time you go (you just get whoever is available), so nobody is keeping track of how your teeth are doing, nor do they even care either. Spent 4 years with braces, one ortho tightens them, then the next loosens them etc. nobody knows what they're doing. The retainer they made for me was not trimmed to fit my teeth, so it covered my gums which caused recession and permanent gum damage. I now have extreme sensitivity and insurance won't cover a gum graft I need for at least 10 teeth. Again, I was young and had no idea. Please avoid this place at all costs. Biggest mistake of my life.

Negative experience: At first it was good but as time went on it became more difficult to make appointments for my daughter. And then I realize they are only open one Saturday a month. Which is really difficult for somebody who works. I also moved To Rockland and when I first started I smile they assured me that I could transfer to the White Plains office. But once I asked they said that my insurance discount could not be transferred. The front desk is rude and very unaccommodating. It’s almost as if me being a customer means nothing to them.

I'm always greeted by name upon entry. I’ve never sat in the waiting room for more than five minutes. Five stars service from the moment you walk through the automatic doors. Negative experience: Took 8 years to get braces off… constant staff changes and super expensive for retainers and if your teeth shift… don’t get retainers with them../ followup appt for replacement takes weeks and 900 dollars and then they still want 50 dollars a replacement and if u move or they go out of business your screwed… don’t get braces on chain location it’s an orthodontic mill…if the teeth shift on the m an time they want to charge you again to fix it or give a de t’aimer that maintains the gap..:: by retainers online they don’t warranty the thousands of dollars of work

Fantastic experience: iSmile here in Yonker has a very welcoming atmosphere. My daughter was seen right away. We didn't have to sit and wait and all the staff made her feel really comfortable. I will be recommending them to everyone I know! Yuriel did a great job assisting me with all my payment questions and offering me the different payment options they offer.

Fantastic experience: After being recommended by multiple people, I can truly say my experience has been great at ismile. I went in for a consultation for Invisalign and everything was done with ease. From having my scans being taken, to talking with Yuriel regarding pricing and insurance, and talking to the doctor regarding any questions, every staff member was great and happy to help. Everything went smooth sailing and I’m excited to start my Invisalign treatment. Definitely a 10/10 experience for my first visit!

Negative experience: As someone who has been coming here for 8 years I am more than qualified to comment on the steady decline of the staff over time to its current state. Every experienced older member of the team is now gone and what is left is a team of immature under experienced and especially unprofessional youth that either don’t know what they’re doing or more likely, just don’t care. The front of house are sassy and rude, hygienist assistants do not clean the instruments thoroughly and all you hear is profanity and joking around while they are supposed to be assisting you. I’m no prude but I do expect my mouth to be taken seriously. My impressions were taken by a shaky handed boy who dropped the mold material all over himself and down my chin, clearly not knowing the proper amount to put on. Come to find out he had only done it one other time before. The retainer for life program has increased from 25 dollars total to 25 dollars per row, for a total of 50 dollars. But don’t let the girl in front know things used to be different unless you enjoy being arrogantly condescended too. The only competent seeming member of the team is the head dentist, how he could have hired all these buffoons around him is beyond me.

Negative experience: If I could give this place no stars I would. BEWARE of this place. Patient care is the least of anyone’s worries. The front desk believes that they are clinical staff members. They dictate if you are able to be seen. 1st issue: the back bracket broke and my wire was almost out of my mouth. The wire cut my cheek, lips, and gums. When I called the front and asked for an emergency appointment. They told me I had to wait a for my next appointment which was in a few weeks because it is not an emergency. At this point my left cheek was bleeding. I came in anyways and I was seen. I received a lot of apologies and was told to ask to speak with a member of the clinical staff to avoid this issue next time. Today, October 25, 2022 I called to set up an emergency appointment the left side of my mouth is swollen. I am unable to open my mouth fully and I noticed that my wisdom tooth was now visible. I spoke with 2 females. Maria and Olga. I was told someone will give me a call since I asked to speak with a member of the clinical staff. I was also told that there is no provider on-site at this time. I didn’t get a call back so I called them back 5 hours later. Olga informed me that my concerns and symptoms are not urgent. I asked to speak with a clinical professional. She then told me she has enough experience to decide on what is an emergency and began to tell me I must wait until my next appointment which is in a few weeks. I still have yet to speak with a clinical staff member. There are other things I can complain about but those things are not as significant as PATIENT CARE. your health is not important to these people. Only your dollars. I will NEVER recommend this HELL hole place to anyone. After I complete treatment for my braces. I will never look at this place again and I advise people to find a place which proper ethics. Patient care should be a top priority. The NYS DOH, JCAHO, OSHA needs to take a look into this place. I AM LIVID.

Negative experience: The wait usually isn't bad at all; yesterday it was downright horrible !! They kept taking people before my son and it was after his appointment time...literally 3 people came in off the street and got in the chair; two sisters and a single young man. I went to ask when my son would be seen and was told (nicely) that there was one person ahead of him and they were waiting for a chair to open up. The front desk staff are wonderful ! Always friendly and efficient. But I cant't wait for the day that he does not have to go back !!

Negative experience: Horrible! Take it from someone who has dealt with with place for four years!! This location is highly unorganized and extremely inefficient. They don’t retain their orthodontist and when requesting a relocation to another office, they give you the run around. We’ve spent so much money at this place to have to deal with such unprofessionalism. A new orthodontist was hired and didn’t even consider looking at my son’s chart to see next steps. I truly believe this place takes advantage of people and are fraudulent with their “recommended Orthodontic work”. They should be audited and investigated. They’re only out to make money—they care nothing about their patients. Definitely get second opinions before making a decision to go with this practice. Disgusting!! Retainers were ordered by a retired orthodontist and it was ready for me to pick up, the office couldn’t find them!! What kind of practice misplaces retainers? If you want professional services, you have to go somewhere else—this place isn’t the place. Folks must have no other choice but to go here for them to continue spending money, whether it’s from your insurance of your pocket.

Negative experience: My Daughter was Crying yesterday because she didn't want to go to the apartment because 1 of the dental elastic bands was broken and she was scared to get yelled at since at the last appointment she was yelled at harshly to not break her bands I understand how important it is to take care of your braces but I've already had 2 other children have braces and not be treated in this manner. My daughter is sensitive and see the treatment as unprofessional especially for a little kid.

Negative experience: They started off like the bad boxer. They started off very good and then at near the end of my daughter's dental work turned VERY VERY unreliable. They kept changing her appointments for new trays. They also kept saying they had the trays, as to not avail.
