Fantastic experience: Professional Smiles provides thorough service and pay attention to detail. What is unique as a new patient is in addition to taking X-rays they took pictures. After the first part of my cleaning they took additional X-rays to make sure the cleaning was perfect. Staff is very attentive. The only thing I would ding them on is there notification process. After you confirm your appointment you receive additional request to reconfirm including a phone which in my view is over kill. Also when you sign the initial paper work there is a disclosure that states unless cancel your appointment 48 hours in advance or there is a no show you will be charged a $50 fee. I do not need a constant reminder of that!

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Professional Smiles recently and the entire process and appointment from end-to-end was exceptional. I was greeted by friendly staff and my hygienist, Julio, provided 100 star service. He was professional, explained everything step in the care being provided thoroughly, and he was very attentive to my needs, ensuring I was comfortable. The DDS was very kind and made sure I only received the services I needed. The financial process was transparent and the care plan was clear. I’m so happy that my family and I have found our family dentist here at Professional Smiles.

Negative experience: Don't be fooled by these good reviews! Look up their BBB complaints (they are not accredited) and you will find the same complaints I have! I initially thought the staff were so nice and professional. I had a good experience for the exam day. That changed when I found they charged me on the date of my initial exam for the estimate I was given! I initially agreed to the treatment, but canceled after I saw the referring Endodontist (Davenport Endodontics) who sales pressured me for 3 times the work and 3 times the original cost and to do it all NOW!!! So I left and never returned to either office as I felt pressured and uncomfortable. When I asked Professional Smiles manager for refund for services I never received (a crown after the Endodontist did his work) bullied me. I believe it's illegal to charge a week in advance and then the treatment didn't take place! Had to get my husband to call and threaten a fraud lawsuit that she finally refunded me approximately$3500.00 (6 months after the charge was made to my credit). She still tried to keep $89 for a cleaning that was never done either!!!!! Do NOT recommend!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Did my first appointment and cleaning here and was not disappointed! The front desk staff were very kind and professional, and Ben, who was the hygienist that helped do my cleaning was super friendly! Carlos Vazquez explained clearly my current oral health and gave me room to ask for questions which I appreciated. As someone who has struggled with finding a dental provider in the past due to not being quite satisfied with their service or pricing, I’m so glad I found a place that’s very close to my home and hits all the marks.

Fantastic experience: Always excellent, caring, friendly “smiling” staff from beginning to end. They make me feel like they truly do appreciate me as a client . During my procedure (cavity/crown) before each move, I was explained what was going to happen. There were no surprises. Highly recommend especially if you are apprehensive about dentist.

Fantastic experience: I am TERRIFIED of the dentist, so when my tooth cracked, I panicked. I saw favorable reviews of Professional Smiles and they got me in the same day for a consultation. My temporary crown was placed the following day with my permanent crown placed the following week. That went so well, I went in for a complete cleaning this week and plan to keep up with it every 6 months. Everyone at Professional Smiles is amazing. From the office staff to the hygienist to Dr. Novi himself. I recommend Professional Smiles, highly!

Fantastic experience: I came from Greenberg. It took me two years to find a dentist office because I was afraid they would treat me the same as they did. Luckily, my best friend has been coming here for a while and recommended for me to come in. I walked in and the ladies up front greeted me with a smile. They were friendly, sweet. Julio took care of me. He did my cleaning and he was amazing! Dr. Carlos was a great man and he did my fillings and was patient with me when my filling felt off. Fantastic experience: This is an excellent dentist. I do not like going to the dentist- I have a lot of anxiety even for a cleaning. They are very gental and caring. I have been going here for years and I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff and service- thanks - See ya in 6 months

Fantastic experience: I can't thank the whole staff at Professional Smiles enough. I broke my front tooth on a Thursday evening and not only did they get me in the very next morning, the staff stayed far after closing to make sure my tooth was intact and my smile perfect! Negative experience: I don't like the way they schedule appointments. They charge you $50 if you cancel or don't show up on time. I find it ridiculous. And then they call you several times. The text messages are a horrible chase. Making sure you have to go to your appointment? I got one A very wrong diagnosis.!!!They told me that I needed a crown on a tooth that was not necessary. I went to a specialist and he certified that detail. I do not recommend it at all. !!!!

Negative experience: I was under the impression that your clinic was promoted and advertised as an emergency clinic, but when I called to make an appointment for a root canal, I was told, "we don't work on that type of root canal." Fantastic experience: The folks here are so friendly and kind. Grace was wonderful. She took all my x-rays and got things set up for Dr. Gabby. Dr. Gabby is terrific. She has a great chair-side manner. She listened to me. She provided options for several procedures. They provided a plan that matched our discussions. I will definitely make this my dental office in the future. They are consummate professionals. UPDATE: Julio did my teeth cleaning. He was very careful around areas that I told him are sensitive. He was very professional. UPDATE: I had a broken tooth that needed to be pulled. What I didn't know was that it was infected underneath. Dr. Ortiz did his best to get the area numb, but the infection hampered his efforts. Needless to say, it was very painful, but Dr. Ortiz would give me little breaks when it got to be too much. Scraping out the infection was the worst part. He did his best to get it done as quickly. I highly recommend Professional Smiles.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was at noon. I got there about 5 minutes early & they called me right at noon. Clara did a wonderful job! She was very caring & meticulous with the cleaning. Never felt my gums getting knicked at all. The ladies at the desk are very friendly & greet everyone as if they are family. In and out in 35 minutes. I really like this dentist office! The parking lot is a different story. People race through it & don't pay attention to pedestrians. Be careful!

Negative experience: I had originally called to schedule an appointment, my first thought was to give it a chance because the lady who answered kept putting me on a “brief” hold. After about almost 20 mins of being rerouted back to the queue and her telling me she was putting me on a brief hold 3 times I went online and scheduled the appointment. There was a text with a link to fill out and upload your photo ID and insurance. I ended up calling them to schedule an earlier appointment than what I had booked for and was scheduled for today 11/14. I arrive to my appointment 30 mins early. She asked for my ID and I asked her if she would like my insurance card as well, she said no at first then asked me if I had insurance as if I didn’t just ask her if she wanted my insurance card?! Nonetheless I gave her both she said they needed to verify my insurance which is all great, 10 mins later she tells me my insurance is a DHMO and that they don’t accept it. She asked if I was here for a pain or something which I was only there for a cleaning (this was indicated on the online forms I filled out and with whomever I scheduled the appointment with on the phone Monday). My only suggestion is if someone books an appointment you should be verifying their insurance prior to them coming in the office to avoid these issues. I could have went on my way to find someone who accepts my insurance but this was not just their fault, it was mine. I’m writing this review to warn others to verify your insurance first and really make sure they accept it before your appointment day other wise you will just waste your time and day off from work.

Negative experience: A few family members have been to this location in Davenport a few times now . The hygienist was awesome. She did an awesome job and took her time cleaning. The clinic is owned by a married couple, though, and they have no form of communication if there's any issues. The doctor I saw was really awesome, his assistant not so much. Not professional. I would never allow her to work in my mouth again. She was rough ( prepping a crown i already had done once) and very rude when she hurt me. The second go around, I was switched to a different assistant, and the appointment went fine. My crown was put in, and it looks great. Updating my review after the owners response, we were told at the time we ask for an office manager , that there wasn't one . No customer service whatsoever. So the response the owner gave is auto- generated and false information. Apparently the evil worker isn't employed there anymore but i wouldn't go back and would not recommend the clinic.

Fantastic experience: Clara did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. I am a new patient and very impressed with her attention to detail and gentle process cleaning. They also have state-of-the-art equipment. Update*** I returned to have 2 crowns, needed to be done for a while, but was delaying them due to recently moving here and not having a dentist. Dr. Novi Frometa DDS and his assistant Grace were phenomenal. They explained everything they were doing and made sure I was comfortable. Not one bit of the procedure hurt and I was completely taken care of by these 2 wonderful individuals. Finding a new dental practice is very nerve wracking, but I am thrilled to have found Professional Smiles and their awesome team of dental professionals. Thank you Dr. Novi and Grace. Fantastic experience: My son was consulted by Dr.Ortiz and he diagnosed my son within the first 10 min . My son is 14 and his previous dentist who is known to this area wasn’t able to diagnose his problem. We are excited with the change of providers — we are definitely changing our entire family to this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Great visit to Professional Smiles and Grace was wonderful. She explained each step beforehand, prepared me and was gentle. After multiple visits I highly recommend them. Dr. Frometa is very detailed and makes sure I’m comfortable and does a great job. He’s very thorough which I appreciate. My husband now goes here also. Can’t forget Kristy in the office! She’s so sweet and remembers you!
Fantastic experience: Dr Novi and Yanria were amazing! They took the time to work on a chip in my front tooth and smooth out the edges of both front teeth. The results were beautiful and I did not have to get crowns instead, I was able to keep my own front teeth with restructuring. I appreciate the time they took to do the job right without pressuring me to purchase expensive crowns like another dental business down the street. There was no sales pressure and they were friendly and professional. Great family dental office, highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: I did my cleaning with Hygienist Clara Martinez and it went super quick and smooth, 10/10. The ladies at the front desk were also very polite and helpful, Lisa and Cristy. I Would definitely make the drive from Miami any time to come here and let them take care of my smile!

Fantastic experience: New to the area and was happy for the quick response to my inquiry. I was able map out a dental plan. Dr. Novi was great and provided the plan for my services and was open to my questions and prioritizing my dental plan. Jaheri was great and also made the visit smooth.
