Fantastic experience: This place rocked it for us! My daughter and came in as a walk-in, looking for a new dental office after having had a bad experience somewhere else. My daughter loved it as soon as we walked in starting with the games and movie theater in the lobby!!! Definitely kid friendly! Front desk were all very kind. They took us in after verifying our insurance and paperwork. They had space to see my child so we were walked in right away. We were given a quick tour and talked us through their procedures, which was very nice and unexpected. Not knowing how my daughter was going to handle this new place, I stood back and let them do their thing. To my surprise, she felt very comfortable and allowed every process. I honestly think the atmosphere and of how nice and cheerful everyone was back there, she didn't have the chance to be scared. I loved how everyone said hi and made us feel safe. Our treatment didn't take very long and as I waited, the staff were very kind to keep my mind at ease with updates. To my amazement, I had a very happy kid come out with a big smile on her face...NO COMPLAINTS! We will be returning, no doubt. Thank you to everyone for building this experience for us.

Positive experience: Friendly staff and great kid friendly place they just take WAY TOO LONG! Plan for at least two hours and if you have multiple kids you’ll literally be here ALL DAY! Kids appointment was at 11:30a and no one pulled him to the back until well after 1p And he wasn’t done until close to 3p! Might only be one dentist servicing an upwards of idk how many patients. Very frustrating, only reason I will now be looking for another dentist.

Fantastic experience: First time here switched insurance so decided to change places since it’s closer to me and wow I am glad I did, everyone so nice, Tracy who does X ray the best energy and so nice and all the staff as well so great to us and gave me a tour being my first time which never has a dental place done that before so made me feel comfortable as well cameras in each room. Definitely recommend to come here!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for a little over 2 years and my kids love it here the staff is so sweet and gentle with my children and I love being a familiar face for them it feels good and my kids never like the dentist but coming here they have so much fun there’s a lot of fun things for the kids to do there’s a movie theatre , arcade games , PlayStation and life sized action figure toys that are fun to have a family photo with its all in a great place to be I highly recommend to come !

Negative experience: One of the female dentists here worsened a crack on my tooth, if it was already previously cracked. Originally, I went for a regular 6 month appointment and she said she saw the starting of a tiny cavity. It took her way longer than I expected for something so tiny to fix so I had lockjaw for a couple days after, she was talking to her assistant about being in another city at like 3 am that same morning among other things I didn’t need to hear about. It felt like she drilled straight into the dentin part of my tooth, and that’s probably how I got cracking on my molar besides the drill running on it for too long maybe half an hour +. My bite was off because it also felt like too much of my tooth was shaved down. I had gone back a month later from having pain daily with chewing that never went away ever since that visit, so they took X-rays again and told me my tooth looked fine and drilled some more on it then wished me luck. It didn’t help, and still left me chewing on only one side of my mouth. I went to another dentist and they showed me the cracking on that tooth very clearly and now I need to get a crown. My new dentist said my filling on that tooth looks old and asked if I regularly chew on ice. I never chew ice but that says a lot about the damage done. So, I now also take my children to another pediatric dentist down the road who is board certified so now I know they are in good hands and not seeing a different dentist each appointment like they did here. Some of the employees at Camelot are the nicest you’ll ever meet like the lady who does the X-rays and the main front office lady. It was easy to call and get appointments and reminders, good communication there. I feel they don’t have all the tools a regular dentist needs, don’t do as thorough a routine cleaning like you’d get at a traditional office, and they lack sinks. Still, I wanted to continue to love this place and I think it’s a fun place to go if your children have good oral hygiene and never have any problems, but it’s quite the risk if they ever need something done because they might get a rookie dentist or receive treatment that ultimately causes a worse problem, like what happened to me. I’m just thankful I got my children out of there before something similar happens to them. We’ve only been going here about 3/4 of a year before needing to switch because of my unexpected experience of a filling gone wrong.

Negative experience: If you’re looking for quality dental care from staff who genuinely care for your child, I recommend looking elsewhere. Parents are not allowed in the room during treatment, and the dentist lacks patience for first-time patients. Additionally, the dentist is quick to rush you off the phone when you call for a follow-up. My child informed me that the dentist asked him a question, then responded with, “Yeah, I’m done,” before allowing him to answer. This uncomfortable experience prompted me to want to attend the follow-up appointment. Additionally, when the front office called to say, “Our doctors are not comfortable with parents being in the room during care,” they suggested I refer to another pediatric office, which raised more concerns about the situation. I was also told that my son quickly jumped out of the chair and claimed he could not breathe. Why wasn’t I or my husband updated immediately about this situation while we were in the waiting area? It seems odd that they prefer not to have parents present.

Fantastic experience: I've been bringing my kiddos to this location for years now (since they've opened) & they're amazing! Highly recommend them! Tracy is the nurse that checks tou in & she's so sweet, remembers my kids by name which is so comforting for them! She's literally the bright light of Camelot Dental! She's the main reason including the Dr.'s as to why we keep coming bck! Thank you Tracy for all that you do here!✨️

Fantastic experience: For the most part this dentist was great. I only had one complaint that was a major one. So my daughter had an infection on her tooth that was also in her gums. They extracted to the tooth and said that the infection should clear up in her gums without need of antibiotics. If it didn't get better in a day or two to call back and they would send the antibiotics to the pharmacy. However, the infection was still persistent 4 days later and I called to see if they could send the antibiotics they for the infection they tried to treat with an extraction to which they said I would need a whole other visit a different day. So I ended up having to take my daughter to an urgent care for an infection they already saw her for and told me she had themselves. Other than that everything was excellent and we will be going back. Edit: The dentist did call me back and was willing to send the prescription for the infection she had, but I had already got it from urgent care. I do appreciate the dentist who called me back to help after all that. I think maybe it was just a misunderstanding with the front office staff that my daughter has already been seen for this exact thing, and was promised antibiotics for the infection she has already been diagnosed with if it didn't go away on it's own, simple miscommunication and them not fully comprehending is all, but the dentist did call me back the same day to try and fix everything and I appreciate it.

Fantastic experience: I was in search of a pediatric dentist near me and found this one Sooo glad I chose this place, the staff is so welcoming and friendly. My kids were a bit tense and nervous but after getting their teeth cleaning they were relaxed and happy, so that’s always good !!

Fantastic experience: The parking lot is a bit small. Inside is set up like a castle, there’s 3 driving arcade games, two video games, and a movie theater. Staff is great and listens. Even with 8 kids running around it is not loud.

From the moment we walked in everyone was so sweet and professional, and I mean everyone. The tech who took the X-rays was so nice and explained what she was doing and made my grandchildren feel comfortable. Not too long after the dentist introduce herself with a smile and sweet Manor that I was very impressed. She went through each one of my grandchildren s X-rays and showed me and explained what treatment they needed. I was very impressed and happy I took my daughter's suggestion. I will recommend them to everyone I know, they are awesome and I hope you try them out for yourself.

Negative experience: I had high hopes because of the reviews, but I'll never go back. The X-rays and exam were fine, but they refused to let me go back with my child for her cleaning and (anticipated) tooth extraction. Even after I asked if they could make an exception for me to stay because of how nervous she was, they said it's an absolute no and their policy for the kids to go back by themselves. Hard pass from me and a huge red flag! I've never heard of anything like this, especially when it comes to caring for children. We couldn't leave fast enough!

Negative experience: Terrible place. Long wait times, they will do anything to raise up the bill. My children left with severe pain and trauma because of this place. They will cap BROKEN teeth just to charge u for it. X-rays and all show the tooth was broken but yet they still did work on it for it to just fall off the next day. Never will I take my children back nor do I recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I met Tracy at HEB & her energy made me want to come to Camelot dentist where surprisingly after yrs without being to a dentist and my fears to be seeing the whole staff was fast, energetic and very welcoming! I'd give this place a 10 plus!

Our dentist explained our problems and our solutions to us and what to do and use to avoid future issues. They made us feel very comfortable throughout it all. The best dentist office I’ve been to in awhile. They also have a lot of distractions for your little ones while you wait to be called in. I can’t recommend this office enough for adults and kiddos!
