I will Say this right from the start the receptionist who called me and the one who checked me in were so polite . Along with the dental assistant she was so caring . Fantastic experience: My experience at Casey Dental was relaxed and informative. #1 I put off going to a Dentist because I try and avoid pain. I have pain in a back molar so figured I have a cavity , which I do. I also asked for a teeth cleaning and they did a good job and I now am scheduled to have the cavity filled nxt week. I would recommend Casey Dental to others.

Negative experience: I went to get oral surgery today. I am 16 and I have a fear of IVs and bloodwork. I have even gone into a fear induced seizure before. My appointment was for 9:40 and we did not get in until around 10 although I didn’t have any problems yet slide from that. I went back and had told them I forgot to use my rinse and they said I could use it there. They said I could use the laughing gas to get the IV and they put it on and immediately started getting ready without letting it work yet. I pulled my arm away because I was scared and said “no” My surgeon then said “fine then we will just use the Nos and I will remove your front tooth. I was getting five teeth removed 4 wisdom and a tooth that is horizontal and up near my nasal cavity. My Mom told him she wasn’t comfortable with just the Nos and he stormed out. He had basically tried to scare me into the IV even though I had already put my arm back. The nurses then told me that “we’re not fighting you today we have sharp things” I said I was sorry and I was just scared and she walked over and lowered my Nos. At this point they STILL have not had me use the rinse before the surgery and we’re already trying to put me under. The surgeon then stormed back in and started ripping things off me. I said “ what is happening” and he told me “you’re going home” and I cried saying I had been waiting months for this surgery. I require it to get my braces off. I told him he was unprofessional. We left and I had a terrible headache for a couple of hours. they only tried the IV once before sending us home. I cried asking what I did because I only pulled away once and I was told again I’m going home. My mom and I left and called the surgeons office in Clark summit. Overall Casey dental lacks beside manners entirely and not one nurse or surgeon tried to tell me it was okay once, there was so comfort offered only rude comments. I had my arm out the entire time after I pulled it away the first time. I do not recommended switching your children to this office. They have little to no care for their patients and are poor with scheduling.

I needed all my teeth ripped out. They both explained things, treated me with kindness and compassion and never once judged me. They gave me my smile back and without feeling overwhelmed. Thank you for being rockstars ladies!!! July 2025, another update. While things are slow getting the bottom partials in from the lab dr silvi is till keeping me updated every step of the way. Her and another hygienist treat me with the same respect as day 1. I never feel like a burden and ik shes doing all she can after the lab messed up. Keep it up DR SILVI

Fantastic experience: I was visiting PA on vacation from Albuquerque when I got the worst tooth ache ever. I called around a lot of dentists but had no luck. I came across Casey Dental and went in to ask for assistance and they were able to get me an emergency appointment the very next morning! The process was easy and the receptionist made everything simple and clear and was very pleasant. Turns out I had to have my wisdom tooth removed under local anaesthetic. My doctor was amazing and made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole procedure and it was over in less than half an hour. Couldn’t recommend this dental practice more… I wish I was able to make them my permanent dental hygienist.

Fantastic experience: Casey Dental has gone above and beyond to make sure my daughter Mia brushes her teeth properly and she has stayed cavity free every year consecutively at 13 years old. She has only had one cavity! We decided to possibly go with the route of braces, and they now have an orthodontist on the premises and we are more than excited to not have to travel too far for an amazing orthodontist experience! Mia never has one complaint when she is in that back room now that I let her go in back by herself. Unfortunately, her sister had a bad experience with a doctor’s office that used to be in the Wilkes-Barre area End of the Scranton area, but I believe they have gone out of business or moved to finally out of Wilkes-Barre. I know a lot of people had complained about that Office, but I can only say wonderful things about Casey Dental and their dentist office as well as my 20-year-old and my 13-year-old Have no fear of the Dentist because Casey has gone above and beyond to make them feel welcome, comfortable and expect The best service for the most beautiful part of their face! Their beautiful smiles! Can’t wait for my daughter to get her braces and have her little separated teeth all put together Just the way she wants them! Her confidence is always a notch up when walking Out of the dentist office with her next six month appointment in her bag, Her new toothbrush for her six months and some little toothpaste to take home That she loves to use as her travel toothpaste. Today visit was amazing although I lost a tooth the Dr took excellent care of me and made sure I wasn’t in pain and I was comfortable. Casey Dental is about 45 minutes from where I live and care I receive is worth every minute

Fantastic experience: I love this place they check you right in, they talk you through everything they do. They offer great advice on how to improve taking care of your teeth and gums. Never had a problem with billing and they set up the next appointment while you’re still in the dental chair. What’s not to like .

Negative experience: After I came back from the X-rays he then informed me that he could remove my teeth but couldn’t put me under for it. When I asked why he said be cause I was a "bigger girl." He said I had "line backer shoulders" . Very unprofessional. A week goes by I pay $490.00 for the co pay the day of surgery. I get the surgery and felt EVERYTHING. Damn near broke my jaw getting all 4 wisdom teeth out. No meds after we're provided and my jaw was closed for 3 weeks due to the pain severity even with jaw exercises. 2 months later I get a bill for $700.00.

Fantastic experience: I had a,dental emergency and my regular office were not able to see me for 3 to 4 weeks! I found that Casey Dental was in network with my insurance and took a chance. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience . From staff scheduling me, to the hugentist, and the dentist I was s heduled with! Amazing care and compassion! Have already scheduled a follow up and will go there for all my dental needs going forward .
