Fantastic experience: This has been an amazing experience thus far and we’re just getting started. The scheduling process was very easy and the response time was quick. They created a very welcoming atmosphere for their patients. Mrs. Smith was AMAZING and she even gave us a tour!!! My kids absolutely loved it. Dr. Jernigan was very friendly and he explained the process thoroughly. We can’t wait to get started.

Negative experience: Appt arrival delay cause by rain and traffic seemed unacceptable with front staff. 5mintes away and they planned on canceling my appointment after leaving work early and driving over 1 hour which usually takes 25-30min to get there. Phone staff was curt, enough for me to consider changing Orthodontist. My actual appt was minimal (no more than 5min in the adjustment chair). Technician only changed ligatures (rubber O-ring bands), extending the front chain from 2 loops to 4 loops. However she did not take out or provide a new/heavier gauge wire or other adjustments. Noteably, there were 2 additional patients still in their adjustment chairs when I left.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was so friendly and helpful…. I loved when you walk in you see your name… makes you feel important for sure. Mr. Jernigan had such a sweet spirit to him. He walked me through everything he was going to do. I’m an adult needing braces so I’m feeling a little uneasy. Just know him and his staff eased all my fears. I have already been referring my friends and coworkers to him for their children. I can’t describe the feeling when you walk in. But, once you walk in you will feel it too.

Positive experience: very nice staff and easy to make appointments. Just a little frustrating that my son will have his braces on for nearly 3 yrs because the rubber bands aren’t working as well as expected.

Fantastic experience: From the initial consultation, to the time my son got his braces I have been nothing but impressed with Dr. Jernigan and his staff. The office is designed to make you feel comfortable and my son was so at ease that he asked a ton of questions and he was so excited, that he was whispering to me "make the appointment as soon as possible" lol. Coming from pre-teen, that spoke volumes as to his level of comfort. Alex, and Myra were awesome and instrumental in assisting me with the questions I had and with getting us scheduled within a week and a half. And Brooke was the best assistant and talked us through the implementation of the braces, explaining what she was doing every step of the way. One of the best experiences I have had in a doctor's office in a while. Keep up the great work!!!!

Fantastic experience: Took my daughter today for a teeth crowding issue and Jernigan was amazing. X-ray machine was down so we have to go back for that but he explained that he didn’t want to expose her to radiation without getting a quality picture so he would rather wait until it’s working properly. Also, the teeth crowding he explained they are doing their job moving in that direction to allow other teeth to come in and by “fixing/straightening” them at this stage would further complicate and potentially block passage for those teeth that still need to drop. Amazing experience and love that he as a doctor values my child’s health the same way I do!

Fantastic experience: Always appreciate how up welcoming, accommodating and straight forward visits to the office are. They are always on time, make sure every question is answered and go above and beyond to make patients comfortable. My son’s lips were chapped and he said so when he went to take pictures and X-rays. The staff member brought him a chapstick and brought my daughter a chapstick because she knew my daughter would want one when she saw how cute and tiny they were! Dr. Jernigan explained everything and went through all the hypotheticals too and made sure to make it understandable for me and my kids.

Fantastic experience: It was such a great experience to have chosen Dr. Jernigan for my son’s treatment of braces. Him and his wonderful team were exceptional to me and my son. They are professional and friendly but most importantly they treated us with care, respect and kindness. The atmosphere of the office is very welcoming. There is a cozy seating area and a coffee bar. There is a hall way for parents and patients to do X-rays, talk about finance options and a full consultation session. The other hall way leads into a seating area for patients to be seen by Dr and the team. Overall I recommend Dr Jernigan and his team of wonderful colleagues. We moved here from California and we love how it reminds us of the excellent care and collective spirit of service to their patients.

Fantastic experience: Went for a consult with my 14 y/o son. First the appearance has to hands down be the best I have seen and I have been to three so far. Second the explanations given as to what to expect exceed my expectations. Based off of that, even being out of network and possibly having to pay for part of the services I am more willing to return because it has more transparency.

From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was unbelievably accommodating, knowing that James has autism and was very nervous about the procedure. They took the time to explain everything to him in a way that he could understand, and their kindness and patience were just outstanding. I have been putting off getting braces for James for quite a while because I was so concerned about how he would handle it with his sensory issues. I didn’t know if he could manage the braces, but today, he did it—and it’s all thanks to the amazing team at Jernigan Orthodontics! The office itself is so cool and inviting, which really helped ease his anxiety. What truly blew me away was how fast and smooth the entire process was. I honestly don’t even know how they did it! I’m still in awe of how quickly and efficiently they worked while making sure James was comfortable the entire time. Fantastic experience: Dr. Jernigan and his staff are very professional and knowledgeable. Throughout this process, the team makes me feel my daughter’s orthodontic treatment is top priority. Also, the team goes through great lengths to create an exciting new adventure each visit by decorating the office with different themes. My daughter can’t wait to see the new theme.

Fantastic experience: I came to Dr. Jerrigan office 5 years ago. I saw it on the road close to schools and I like to do everything where I live at! I walk in just to inquire,I had tears in my eyes as I single mother I couldn’t afford the x-rays. His secretary looked at me and smiled and said my sons still can get a X-rays. 3D at that! Dr. Jerrigan has been doing this for the community for over 2 decades. They treated me so nice as if I had insurance. I looked at them with tears in my eyes and said one day I’ll be back! Three years later, I came back and I was able to afford the insurance and I also got a discount because it was two children and he accept payment plans as well. Dr. Jerrigan May the Lord continue to richly bless you and your staff abundantly!! I LOVE YOU! Thank you for taking care of my two boys. I truly enjoyed my experience.

Fantastic experience: The place was decorated like Jurassic Park and was super cool ! They had a sign with Bella’s name on it saying welcome ! It was one of the coolest dentists offices I have ever been to ! The staff is all super friendly. I highly recommend this place !

Fantastic experience: Updated Review on 4/20/24. I got my braces a few days ago (after having my consult a year ago), and I am so happy I got to go to this office! You can feel the love when you enter the building. Dr. Jernigan is wonderful. He is knowledgable and has a great sense of (dry) humor. He made me feel at ease and comfortable getting my braces because I was a little nervous. I'm 29 and this is my first time getting braces. Heather, one of his ortho assistants was the one who put my braces on, and she did an impeccable job! She is beautiful and so sweet and I enjoyed my time with her while she put my upper and bottom braces on. It was painless and went by so quick! I look forward to my next visits! If I wasn't a teacher working at an amazing school next year, Dr. Jernigans office is where I'd want to work myself if I had decided to go in this line of work instead! I'm sure he has people lining up wanting to work there, because you can tell there is something so special about his office unlike any I've been to! Also, peep the pictures I took of their Jurassic world theme! Isn't that the coolest?! I believe they change their theme every few months...and when I went the staff even had their name tags with the dinosaur symbol from Jurassic Park on it! I can tell the ladies that work there are well taken care of and love being there, and it makes me happy to see! I know it helps when you've got a great boss at work! Fantastic experience: Dr. Jernigan has a heart of gold! Not only is he very knowledgeable about everything orthodontics wise, but he's compassionate and empathetic and cares about relationships with his patients. We had a consult with my son and daughter and my son ended up needing treatment sooner. I appreciated his honesty with us and wasn't rushing to give my daughter treatment just because she wanted braces. The office is decorated in a different theme every other month which my kids absolutely LOVE! The thought and time even dedicated to the decor shows how much this office goes above and beyond a typical orthodontist. I'm so thankful we found such an amazing doctor and office!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I had a wonderful consultation with Myra and Dr. Jernnigan. Our questions were answered thoruoughly and possible concerns/snerios for the future were explained. The staff is amazing as well and the office itself goes BEYOND to help make kids/teens (anyone) feel comfortable!! We both left feeling we made the right decision.

Fantastic experience: I had braces about 15 years ago and ran into a situation where my permanent retainer came loose over the weekend. I called Dr. Jernigan’s office and the front desk representative was very nice and polite. They were able to get me in within the same day, told me the estimate cost of the visit, and sent paperwork to me via text for me to fill out before arriving. When I arrived, the office was decorated so beautifully in a theme of “enchanted forest” and was done so detailed. I didn’t have to wait long for the orthodontist assistant to pull me back, she went through everything in detail, and I was out of the office in no time. The entire visit could not have gone any smoother than this. I recommend anyone who needs orthodontic care to go to this office. They were so amazing and the office was very pleasant and professional to work with.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about this office! Everyone was so patient and kind from the moment we walked in. They not only explained things in depth to me, but also made sure to engage with my 8 year old daughter and explain things to her as well. They made her feel super comfortable and she wasn’t nervous at all after they spoke directly with her. We were referred to Dr. Jernigan and I am so extremely happy that we were.

Fantastic experience: This was my first experience going to see an orthodontist and I have to say from the time I walked into the office until I left I felt very relaxed and comfortable. The office staff as well as Dr. Jernigan was very friendly and knowledgeable. Places will push to try and sell you something, well not here. They are highly recommended. Lastly the set up in the office looks amazing and very clean.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter for her first consultation today. First impressions are everything and this office goes above and beyond. The decorations had my daughter mesmerized. The patient coordinator was phenomenal with my daughter and made her feel right at home. Then what really impressed me was how prepared Dr. Jernigan was! It was obvious he took the time to read our paperwork. He knew her hobbies, her school, everything to really build a relationship without having a chart or computer in front of him! We won't need to go back for a year, but that actually made my daughter sad. She wanted to go back as soon as possible, which says A LOT! Dr. Jernigan will definitely be our orthodontist of choice when the time for braces comes.

Fantastic experience: I cant descibe how beautiful and relaxing the atmosphere is there and all the staff members were so welcoming and very profesional! Dr Jernigan was very informative and really took the time to go over his treatment plan carefully with me making sure we didn't leave there with unanswered questions. And Dawn is awesome as well!! My daughter was so excited when we left there and she got a cool tshirt too!

Fantastic experience: Londyn had an amazing visit with getting her braces placed. Dr. Jernigan's was super awesome, very friendly, and I love how he interacts with his patients. Our ortho tech Haileigh was so sweet and friendly and made Londyn feel at ease as she was explaining everything step by step while prepping her for the placement. I'm so glad we chose Dr. Jernigan's and his staff.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a consultation and they offered to start treatment same day for me which was amazing. I ended up starting the next day (today) and had a great experience with Mallory putting my braces on. I highly recommend this office to anyone, they were very flexible upon scheduling and all very friendly. The holiday decor inside was very pretty as well.
