Fantastic experience: I’m already in love with this place and i only visit twice so far. From the time i walked through the door on my very 1st visit, i was greeted with warm welcomes. From the Receptionist, to the Dental Hygienist, and of course the Dr and her Assistant. My experience has been wonderful as well as comforting. I’ve always been nervous about visiting the dentist, because of all the painful needles, drilling, pushing and pulling. Ugh . But i must say, i feel very good about my new home, and with the amount of reconstructin needed, I’ll be nesting here for as long as i can. I definitely recommend this friendly comfy place to anyone.

Negative experience: Horrible wait times…if they had zero stars, that’s what they’d get. Took over 3hrs for my daughter to receive service. We arrived prior to our 11am appt. It took well over 3hrs! …3hrs!… unprofessional and unacceptable. My family and I have been coming here for years and understand that Saturdays gets busy. This takes the cake…unacceptable! Please go elsewhere if you seek on time scheduled services.

Fantastic experience: I have been in the dental field since 1994 as a dental assistant and then hygienist. I have worked at multiple offices and have worked for so many different dentists. Dr Pell, the hygienist I had and the front office staff all were very professional and thorough especially Andrea who actually spends time to go over your treatment plan with you and treats you like her family! I truly had the best dental cleaning in my life at this office. Today Dr Pell had to extract one of my teeth that had a bad infection and was so gentle I could barely feel what she was doing! I can't wait to go back and get an implant to replace the missing tooth that couldn't have been saved with a root canal and a new crown. I highly recommend this place and my family is coming here as well!

Fantastic experience: 2024: The service was great, the first time I didn’t get my teeth hurt, or my gums bleeding during the cleaning the technician was extremely gentle. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in Homestead. 2025 Update: I came in almost at closing with an emergency and immediate pain. I was provided with very comforting hospitality and reassurance, and information. I was a bit nervous and shocked because of the pain. I needed a procedure done and it was done with quality and urgency. I left feeling way better than I expected. I’m happy and Florida city dental office is highly recommended. (Not paid reviewed)

I have had major issues with my teeth throughout my life and this dental office was the first one to wanted to help me beyond my immediate pain! It feels like family when I go in, all the staff are very friendly and supportive! Andrea is extremely helpful with all financial matters and assistance! While there are many doctors on staff, Dr Pacheco is mine (and I low key love her!) she’s very informative about everything and explains what’s going to happen clearly! Fantastic experience: The beginning experience was a little rocky but once I was seen it went well. Very attentive and explained everything to me. I will come again and bring my adult children. This was my first time here. Update: I retuned for a tooth extraction and when I say in less than 2 mins it was out with no pain at all. Definitely recommend this place. Staff is awesome!!!

Positive experience: Good place to get your dental work done. Bedside manner is always very friendly. One downside I would have to say is the wait time. Never really sure if you’re going to get called on time or if you have to wait 30 to 40 minutes to get called back. I felt like it was a hurry up and wait.

Negative experience: Front desk is friendly but that’s about it. The wait times are ridiculous! I dread going to them simply because of the wait. Appointment was at 10am, took about 30 minutes to go to the back and do x-rays and was taken back to the room. Waited another 30 minutes and asked what was the hold on. They came and got me and said I was done. Why was I sitting in the room for extra time if I was done?

Fantastic experience: One of the best dental clinic you would ever experience. The doctors aren’t money hungry so they will tell you what you really need and try to help you out. Front desk and the assistants are all very sweet and have amazing customer service. They also have a separate office for orthodontics and holistic. :)

Negative experience: I used to absolutely love Florida City Dental and have brought my entire family here for years. However, the wait times have become completely unacceptable. My husband had an appointment today at 2:30 PM for a simple cleaning. He wasn’t taken back until 3:24—nearly an hour after his scheduled time. It’s now 4:30, and he’s still not finished, despite the office closing at 5:00. This has not been a one-time issue. The last several visits for both myself and my family have involved excessive wait times, even for routine cleanings. It’s incredibly frustrating to plan around an appointment time, arrive on time, and still end up spending hours in the office. We understand that things happen and schedules can run behind, but this seems to be a consistent pattern now. I truly hope the office takes this feedback seriously because the quality of care used to be great—but the lack of respect for patients’ time is pushing us to look elsewhere.

I chose Florida City Dental from the reviews I read on Google. My cleaning and my treatment experience were both phenomenal! Dr. Diez is truly an angel. She is super OCD with her work, which you want when it comes to your teeth. From the minute you walk through the door and every single person greets you, till the minute you leave...every staff member introduces themselves and makes sure you have a pleasant experience. I couldn't say enough about the staff and the great time I have had there.

Negative experience: First of all, the front desk reception staff is incredibly friendly. Great customer service, super sweet. No complaints there. I had an appointment for 11:30am, I show up ten minutes early. I completed my check-in documents at home, days prior. Around 12pm I'm still not called back but I get a text saying my appointment is now scheduled for 12pm. It's now 12:15pm, there was one patient left who was there before me and they tell her she's got another 10-15 minute wait. An elderly gentleman walks in, the staff greets him with friendly hugs and casual conversation. He walks back in less than five minutes. 12:30pm rolls around, the patient who was ahead of me is still not taken to the back. So I cancel my appointment and let the young lady up front know I will not be returning. (The providers obviously don't need my business, they've clearly got more than they can handle.) I feel that the providers have no respect and consideration for their patient's time. And to see someone get VIP treatment at the expense of other people's time wasn't a great feeling either.

Negative experience: I'm really disappointed with my experience at this dental office. I had an appointment but ended up waiting over 2 hours past my scheduled time. I had to leave without being seen, which is incredibly frustrating. I tried to give them another chance, but the same thing happened again. It seems like the staff cares more about gossiping than taking care of patients. I won’t be returning.

The dentist and the assistant who did the cleaning on my 1st visit were both great. I came back 2 days later for my wisdom tooth and the surgeon and the assistant put me at ease. The extraction was painless and the even after there has been no pain or swelling. Florida City Dental has the best people!

Negative experience: I never give negative reviews but this one is incredible how they play with one's time every time I come it is a 2 hour wait that I don't understand. I worked in a dental office and I know how time works. It is a disorganization where the assistants are in the background talking about personal things and you as a patient are in the room waiting 30 more minutes for someone to enter the room and let you know that they will attend to you. I will not return again. If you do not like to wait for pleasure in a dental office, look for another place. The patient should be informed that they are late and given an estimate of time so that one knows if they will leave late or decide if they want to wait. I lost two and a half hours sitting down to have to get up and leave and the worst thing is that no one noticed. Improve your customer service. It is not just about filling the schedule, it is about having good service.

Negative experience: Never again they did root canal didn’t remove the whole root causing me to lose my front tooth, took no accountability! I brought them a whole company of customers, they keep calling for an appointment that I keep canceling I said it over and over! They used to be great.. but heck no the worst over charged my insurance as well!! Run! Done
