Negative experience: I have been going to Sunnybrook dental for a couple years, however last visit I had felt extremely rushed & not the best care! From the time I sat in the chair I was out the door in 25 minutes. Never was asked to schedule next app- just felt like their goal was to get me out the door! Probably will not be coming back.

Fantastic experience: I contacted the clinic via Vm and Email on Sunday because a crown came off one of my molars. I received a call at 7:45 Monday morning that Dr Steven’s could get me in at 9:00. I went there and they were able to reseat the same crown. They also took an xray of the tooth next to it which had a root canal a few years ago. They referred me to the same Dr for an exam. Once again I received superior service and was very impressed they saw me so quickly! Ruby is awesome also! Thanks to both of you for taking great care of me!!

Fantastic experience: I do not like the dentist never did but the gal who did the cleaning for my teeth made sure I was okay and comfortable. The doctor and her explained everything to me and listen to my concerns. Everyone is welcoming great environment and close to home! They made my experience great i dont mind going back!

Fantastic experience: Wow!! They have chairs that massage your back . I sat back on the chair and felt something moving on my upper back and she said it is a massager. Then they will pull the TV to you when you are laying down in the chair. Very nice!!! The hygienist was very gentle on my tooth cleaning my teeth are sensitive and the doctor was very nice checked my teeth after. I really like them very nice people and do a really good job.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist! I travel a lot for work so they are able to get me in when I’m back in town and sometimes that means short notice. Very professional and understanding. Love chatting with the staff prior and during. They always remember little things I’ve said last time. Had to have emergency cap placed and they were able to get me in very quickly!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Stevens and Rheanna were so wonderful and patient and calm with my little guy while he had his first dental procedure. They took time to explain everything in detail and familiarize him with the equipment they would be using in words he understood so that he wouldn't be afraid. They also made sure his comfort was a priority throughout his appointment. The staff at the front desk and checkout were also very helpful and kind.

Negative experience: I feel to my procedure was over priced. I was told that I required a deep cleaning. However, the procedure was not unlike any normal cleaning I've ever had. $500 plus what my insurance paid. Two sessions with 50 minutes in the chair total.

Fantastic experience: Super nice and Dr. Hildahl was so sweet. She told me what she was going to do every step of the way knowing that my teeth were very sensitive. She made sure to dry my tooth under my cap that came off with cotton instead of blowing air on it which would’ve hurt like crazy. Every single person from the secretary to the hygienist to the dentist were very kind!

Negative experience: My dad doesn’t speak English fluently. He also is not knowledgeable about insurance and doesn’t understand the “in & out of network”. This company took advantage of that. They showed him a price sheet on how much he’d pay out of pocket with insurance before the treatment. Turned out the insurance didn’t cover anything. Why would they not be transparent or tell him beforehand that they weren’t in-network or that they didn’t accept the insurance? Now he’s stuck with an invoice of over $800.
I’m sorry to hear this Brenda. We do have staff members that speak fluent Spanish. We can definitely review his account with him on Monday and see what happened. We try very hard to give our patients the best estimate we can when it comes to treatment and out of pocket expenses. I did follow up this morning with our office staff. I believe your concerns in regards to your father and his bill/insurance involve a different office here in town. Please reach out to us with any concerns. 712-274-2338

Fantastic experience: I had any emergency as my crown came off Friday night. I called the emergency number and let the doctor know what happen. Needless to say I couldn't wait til Monday to have it fixed as it was getting sensitive. So I texted the doctor and was told she would meet me at 9am at the office. I'm so thankful that she took the time out of her morning to come in and fix my crown. Thank you so much. I will recommend Sunnybrook Dental to anyone looking for a dentist. Carol Graves
