Fantastic experience: Anderson Smile Center is hands down the best dentist I've ever been to!!! They were so incredibly patient and kind. Special shout out to Seattle, Riley, and Maria! Seattle is such an amazing dental hygienist and is clearly passionate about what she does. She actually made my cleaning fun and made me feel like family. I will never go anywhere else again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Fantastic experience: Anderson Smile Center was a pleasant experience from start to finish. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Seattle was my hygienist and she was born to do that job. You could tell she loves what she does and interacting with patients. She even made up a little goody bag for adults to take home. You could also tell that the staff liked one another and worked well together. I would highly recommend Anderson Smile Center.

Fantastic experience: This place was awesome!! I hadn't been to the dentist in a little bit and they did not make me feel judged or embarrassed or anything of the sort. Emily was very nice and helpful. She was very informative and kept me in the loop and talked me through everything. Seattle was great! She was very friendly and she kept talking to me through the cleaning. Maria her assistant was really great as well!! Dr. Ionna did a few fillings for me. This man is top notch! He kept me informed on what we were doing and what was happening. He took his time, which really helped when receiving local anesthetic, which I barely felt at all! The lady who helped with my filing was great as well! She was also very helpful and kept me informed. All in all they are really great here! They kept me informed and talked with me through everything. If you are nervous about going to the dentist or haven't been in a while, I highly recommend coming here!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing full dental care facility! After an extensive online search, my family switched to Anderson Smile Center two months ago, and we are quite impressed. The office utilizes the most current imaging and dental care technology to provide the highest care to their patients. The communication between staff and patients is exceptional, and the office is very comfortable. During my recent visit, Maria and Nicole shared helpful tips as they completed the routine portion of my visit very efficiently. Then, Dr. Lloyd and Emily consulted, determined ideal options, enacted amazing skills, and completely resolved my dental needs very professionally. I could not be more pleased with Anderson Smile Center!

Fantastic experience: Emily and Dr. Lloyd were wonderful! I ended up at the Anderson Smile Center due to issues with my previous dentist. I had been having serious issues and could not get into my usual dentist. Not only did Anderson Smile Center get me in, but then Dr. Lloyd went out of her way to make sure I could be seen sooner to alleviate my pain. I am so grateful. The facility was clean and peaceful. Looking forward to future visits!

Negative experience: I unfortunately will not be returning after a horrible filling experience. Last year they filled a cavity in my tooth that they had been "watching" for over a year. I never had any issues with it but always want a cavity fixed. Afterwards it was extremely sensitive while eating and I could not chew anything with it. I went back for a bite adjustment and it did not help. They re-did the filling and it did not help. Finally I came back yesterday (all 4 of these appointments were within the same year) to tell them how the pain still persists and I was told there was "too much trauma done to the tooth, it needs a root canal and a crown or just a crown, depending on an endodontist's recommendation." When I went to the front desk to discuss these options further, I was told just the crown would be $650. I explained that this pain only started occurring after the work from this office had been preformed (which I had been clear about since the first filling). They said it depends on where the decay is when they are getting it out of the tooth, sometimes it is very close to a nerve. This made no sense to me. If the decay was too close to a nerve, shouldn't you have made sure before deciding to do a filling? Also, what were they waiting for at all of the cleanings I had been to when they were just "watching it"? I am extremely disappointed and wish I had trusted my gut to leave once they got bought out a few years ago. Now I still cannot chew on one side of my mouth and will have to pay a new dentist to look at and hopefully fix the issue they created. The amount of time and money this will cause me is devastating and I will be reporting it to my insurance so they can reconsider their contract with this office.

Negative experience: Dr. Lloyd was very rude and spoke roughly to my mother who is 78 years old. Actually wish I could give zero stars. Her attitude and actions were not professional and the poor quality of work was not made right. This is a new dentist that took over after a good one left. I’m sorry to post poor reviews but when someone mistreats your mom that concerns me. We will not be back. Maybe she had a bad day, but this was poor treatment and no matter what, you don’t treat people in this manner.

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful place. I came in full of fear and Dr Ionna and all of the staff there was amazing. They explained everything they were doing and needed to do, I was instantly comforted through each procedure, and the whole process went so smoothly. I could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. 10/10 recommend for any dental need you may have.

Fantastic experience: Maria and Seattle were so nice! They were very understanding and friendly and when I mentioned I was cold they brought me a really soft blanket. I was nervous about coming to the dentist but they made my experience so kind.

Negative experience: I can not express how disappointed I was with my experience at this office. Super friendly staff when you call, however I had to call back 3 times in order to talk to office manager, which I was told would call me within the hr. People get busy, I get it, so when I did talk to her about a crown that broke in half(crown was done by Anderson Smile Center), she said I should come in, and they would take a look at what they can do, free of charge. Keep in mind, this was the second time this crown cracked in half in less then 3 years. So I went in for the appointment a couple days later, and they looked at the crown and basically said, sorry about your luck, we only cover it, if there is a problem within a year. So now, I wasted my time coming in to have them do nothing, when she could have told me this on the phone previously. The office manager then said they could redo it for over 2,000! I declined, and when I went to leave, she tried to then charge me for the visit, after she told me on the phone they would look at it, and not charge. Completely mortified by my experience at this office, and unfortunately it is not what it used to be.

Negative experience: Four visits ago, I waited 45 minutes and when the girl came to clean my teeth, says she doesn’t have time because I’m in perio. What that means to me now is it cost more to get my teeth cleaned! The next visits they found I did not need to come every four months and my last visit took all of 13 minutes to clean my teeth. I’ve heard other patients questioning why they were putting in this category and I am finding that they’re trying to get every dime out of each patient that comes through the door. If I have to pay extra for my cleaning, you would think it would take at least 30 minutes to an hour? I can no longer handle the inconsistencies between the dentist and the hygienist and the high sales.

However, they have accommodated me through my entire time as being a patient. And I must say Arcadia and Johnny are amazing! Johnny took the time to explain everything with me, made sure I stayed comfortable throughout the procedure, personality and energy is amazing! Arcadia has treated me each time I have been there. It doesn’t feel like I am in this horrible dentist appointment, she makes it a very comfortable environment, she has taken the time to get to know me and actually cares. She has went out of her way to make sure everything has went correctly. These two are amazing assets to this office!!!

Negative experience: Fraud, so much fraud. Beware of them telling you that you need a periodontal cleaning, when in fact you don't. They incorrectly bonded a filling in my mouth and my daughters mouth. My daughter ended up with an abscessed tooth. I had to have mine completely redone at a different dentist. They told my husband that he needed a major cleaning done that would cost hundreds of dollars because he had periodontal disease. He does not. Get a second opinion!!!! Filed a formal complaint with my insurance company. Places like this need to be shut down.

Positive experience: My original review is from before the new ownership and building. It’s a good place to go to. Everyone is super nice especially Seattle! The downfall of the place as a whole is just never knowing who your hygienist or doctor will be your next visit because every visit since the switch of ownership.. it’s been someone different. I started coming to this facility when I was a child (under a different DDS at the time but Dr Ress took over). My son and I have gone to different dentists all over the place over the last handful of years. We ended up coming back to my roots and I am sure glad we did. Dr. Michael Ress and Dr. Nishir Kumar are wonderful as the rest of the staff! I highly recommend coming here. They make you feel at home and take great care of you. My son (who is 11 and ALWAYS hated the dentist) LOVES coming here and getting his teeth cleaned. That says enough right there.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been searching for a dentist in the Anderson area for awhile after having tried several. Anderson Smiles had on their sign that they were accepting new patients, my wife called and they got her in the next day, and got me in the following week! The staff was very kind and professional and provided excellent care and follow up. Needless to say, we’ve found our long term solution to our dental care needs.

Fantastic experience: I had a phenomenal experience at Anderson Smile Center. I called on Monday, and was able to be seen that Wednesday. The entire staff was extremely friendly, and I had a genuinely fun time talking to everyone inside the building. Special shoutout to Maria and Seattle. Seattle was very thorough with the cleaning, and she was very gentle the entire time. She constantly paused to make sure I wasn’t in any pain. I will definitely be back!

Negative experience: This place has gone way downhill recently. My daughter had a very small cavity that was filled here. After a couple months of pain, last week, we went back for a follow up in which we were informed she could now either have her tooth removed or a root canal. Neither of these are options we are happy with for our 9 year old daughter. Then, yesterday, she was in a lot of pain so we looked in her mouth and realized she has a big abscess where her cavity was that has gotten infected. So now we are out $100 for urgent care for antibiotics, out the money we spent for the botched filling, and will now be going to the original dentist we found at this practice that left for another practice who is out of our insurance network to make sure our daughter actually gets good dental work. Such a disappointment..

Fantastic experience: Anderson Smile Center is amazing! I just moved here and was looking for a new dentist so I thought I’d try them out and what a good first choice I made. It was clean, the entire staff was super kind, informative, and professional. Overall I had a very smooth and comfortable experience. Huge shouts out to Shayla, Johnny, and Dr. Lloyd! Update: I came back to get measured for Invisalign and Emily was fantastic! She was professional and patient and also made the experience easy and comfortable.

Negative experience: The only decent human being at this practice was the office manager. She's kind considerate, listened was empathetic and did a great job. Everyone else I met was immature, irresponsible, unprofessional and incredibly arrogant. As I was too stupid to understand the weak, unclear x-ray instructions, the struggle was all my fault. I asked the Doctor at the end of the session for my exam that was supposed to be included. She said that the dental hygienist had already done it. That was NOT what I paid $2100 for. This was the same hygienist who had gagged me with water down my throat, splashed water across my face, in my eye and ruined the shirt I was wearing. I asked to be able to read what I specific items I was being charged for. The same X-ray person would not allow me to read the pages. She kept turning them, resetting them indicated that I was "doing it wrong." (I am a retired college professor. I know how to read bills, invoices, estimates, etc) I have never been so insulted or treated so badly at a dental office-EVER. THE entire reason I made this appointment was because reviews & a phone call to make the appointment gave me the impression this dental office was decent & sincere about customer care (obviously patient is not an appropriate term for this practice). Evidently the positive reviews on the website are fake. I was also told that the State of Ohio REQUIRES dental x-rays. After my miserable experience, I did some research, made a few phone calls (including one to state investigators in Columbus). I was told this x-ray policy is a flat-out lie!
