Fantastic experience: I have been going to this office for several years. Recently there was a change in ownership but the staff, care, and new doctor/owner are still amazing. Thorough, gentle, personable and professional. They're always busy, but you never feel rushed.

Fantastic experience: My mom was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and her dentist recommended to go and see Dr. Raj Patel at Serenity Smiles; to have a mouth device done. This Mandibular Advancement Device is considered a comfortable , portable and effective alternative to CPA machines for people with mild to moderate OSA, and it can also improves daytime sleepiness, blood pressure and overall quality of life. And this is just what my mom needed it! Dr. Patel is very personable and professional. He explains everything clearly, and gives options, as well as educated explanations of this device. He is also very compassionate. You can tell he really cares for his patients and how they are feeling during the entire procedure. Right from the moment I walked into the clinic, everyone that interacted with was amazing and friendly. I will definitely refer everyone I know this place!

Fantastic experience: i am a new patient for this dentist office. I found the staff very friendly and efficient. I was seen within minutes of my arrival and check in was easy. I had X-rays and a cleaning which went great as well. I have some work ahead but nothing major. Walking me through the concerns with the dentist was straight forward and easily understood. I was surprised on how large the office was and seemingly how busy it was. It was a great sign for someone new like me, feeling comfort in the number of patients being served. They have set the table with a positive vibe which I expect will continue.

Negative experience: Told dental assistant “no novacain” in clear terms when she first escorted me into room for crown. When the dentist started administering anesthetic she denied “having heard me say that”

Fantastic experience: After a long weekend being in extreme toothache pain from a suspected damaged crown, I researched online Emergency Dental Care offices in the Miramar Beach, Destin, Santa Rosa Beach areas. It was a frustrating search, but luckily I hit the Dental practice jackpot when I called Seacrest Dental. First, the front office staff, beginning with the assuring voice of the Schedular, who provided me with an appointment that very morning. Second, the entire front staff immediately provided that comforting feeling of walking into the years long family’s dental practice I had before moving here to the Panhandle. Dr. Patel was soft spoken, gentle and talked me through the entire procedure, always asking if I was ok or telling me how good I was doing. Haley, his Dental Assistant was also very sweet, assuring, comforting to an old woman who has always been nervous sitting in a dental chair. I do not believe in giving excellent reviews and/or referrals unless absolutely warranted and Seacrest Dental, Dr. Patel and the entire staff warrant my two thumbs up, 10+ review. I highly recommend this Family Practice if you, like me, have been searching for superior dental care at very reasonable prices, where services rendered are done so competently, with a smile and a reassuring word…then look no further. Fantastic experience: Had my second appointment with Seacrest dental this week. As I walked in the door, I was greeted by my first name by the receptionist. I had only been there once prior, and it had been six months. That was impressive! My dental hygienist was personable and professional, when I mentioned to her a concern I had on a couple of my teeth, she immediately went and got the Doctor, who looked at it and explained what I was seeing to give me peace of mind. My appointment began on time, and was thorough and efficient. Definitely my go to dentist!

Negative experience: My wife and I have been using Seacrest Dental since we retired here in 2018. When I went on Medicare a few years later I changed from Florida Blue to United Healthcare in order to keep using Seacrest only to find that now they don't accept "any" Medicare plans. My wife went on Medicare June 1, 2025 and has a UHC supplement plan for the rest of the year and it was not accepted at all. It was explained they would file my claim but I had to pay for both visits upon leaving. It is disappointing and frustrating that healthcare providers won't participate in the system their patients don't have a choice but to participate in. Yes, I understand the reimbursement issues but to choose not to participate in a mandated health program is unethical and we will have to find dental care elsewhere.

Dr Potel was super gentle, explained every step of the way, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Fantastic experience: Have used Secrest Dental for years, was a bit apprehensive after Dr. Ruder (and Colleen, administrator) moved on, so first time to meet new dentist at this location, had to cap a tooth. Dr. Fatlawi and Anna are great! Very gentle, kind and efficient, making a not-so-pleasant experience as comfortable as possible.... talked me thru the procedure the entire time, made sure was comfortable and not in pain, as well as worked great together. Dr. explained aftercare to make sure I understood what not to do with temp tooth; both asked if had questions, encouraged me to contact them if any issures arrise. Front office staff also very kind, friendly and helpful! Will stay with this group, so glad to have them in our area! Thank you! PS their annual dental plan is a great one to check out if you don't have dental coverage!

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for years! I was a little worried when the practice was sold, but I have had 2 great experiences with the new dentists and staff. I had a yearly cleaning and also had a crown put on with them. I have nitrous cause I really freak out with any procedures and the dentist and staff were so nice and understanding, continually checking on me. I really appreciate the care and time they took with me.

Fantastic experience: I am from Texas, here for the month of January. I had one tooth that needed crowning immediately. ( I had him do both crowns.) I did not know what dentist to go to. I spent several hours researching. Also, I asked on the Miramar Beach Facebook website. Dr. Patel of Seacrest dental was highly recommended. And, they were absolutely correct! He is the best dentist I have ever gone to. I thought I had a really good dentist in Houston but he is hands-down the best. He explained every single thing and was very gentle. On top of that his shot to numb me was the best I have ever had! My anxiety before going was not necessary. The front office staff to the dental assistants I cannot say enough about them. It was so nice to see such great customer service! I plan on having him do all my dental work as I will need more crowns in the future. I feel it is hard to find a really good dentist and I saved $100!

Negative experience: We originally loved this dentist and the staff is very friendly. Once the new dentists/owners took over things began to change and we thought about switching to a new dentist but would keep the appointments we already had and then change. Yesterday I went in for a cleaning and they said my insurance was not valid, even though they are in network. When I said I didn't want the appointment because I was not going to pay for the cleaning hat my insurance should cover they charged me a $50 no show fee even though I showed up. We are now canceling all future appointments and changing dentists.

Negative experience: First, we love the office staff and hygienist. However we’ve been customers there for years and LOVED it until the new Dentists bought it and we’ve now been there for 3 visits and still haven’t met them. Paid for exams, X-rays etc and NO dentist even there!!!!! Not acceptable to me. They should have cancelled their appointments if they weren’t going to be there for patients with exams and dental questions that only the actual dentist could answer. Unfortunately we are actively looking for a new dentist. We don’t do business that way. We will miss their staff though because they really are fantastic!
