Fantastic experience: If you are someone who has a lot of fear or anxiety about going to the dentist, I highly recommend going here. Everyone made me feel so comfortable and didn't make me feel like I was ridiculous because of how I felt. And because of that, I was finally able to move forward with a plan to get my teeth healthy and looking thr way that I want.

Fantastic experience: Abby my hygienist today was gentle, thorough and made my teeth cleaning as enjoyable as possible. Dr. Mattson’s exam was comfortable and comprehensive.

I was actually recommended to come every 4 months - instead of 6 months due to my buildup of calculus on my gums. I am thankful that they keep good track of their patients and recommended me to come more frequently. My last dental experience was less than desirable and made me fearful to return to a dentist, but after my first appointment I felt confident I was in the right place! They explained everything in detail, tooth by tooth even when nothing was needed just to put my mind at ease. Each staff member I talked to is very kind and welcoming, honest and genuinely feels like they care! I’m looking forward to going back.

The office is spotless, staff is welcoming, the hygienist was kind and thorough with my cleaning and X-rays. The dentist took unscheduled time to check a chipped tooth I was worried about, which put me at ease. Checkout was simple, and the team followed up to help with my new insurance—truly caring and professional staff!

Negative experience: Do not go here your personal information is not safe! Their office person will give your personal info out like your records, and not just yours but your families! Sara should not have a job she does not follow the HIPPA rules. DO NOT GO HERE PLEASE. The company does not protect you as it was reported and they did nothing.

She has an incredible ability to numb without pain—I barely felt a thing, which has never been the case for me at the dentist before. The practice itself is so thoughtful, with blankets and little amenities that instantly help put your mind at ease and make the experience so much more comfortable. On top of that, every single person I interacted with was kind, professional, and welcoming. From start to finish, it was a 10/10 experience. If you’re looking for a dental office that truly cares about your comfort and well-being, this is the place to go.

All staff were helpful and kind. There were records they needed to get from another dentist which they did while I was there so they could have my whole history as recommendations were made. Fantastic experience: Bander Dental isn't just your typical dentist office. They explained everything in detail and even brought out a microscope to show me the "organisms" they found during my special cleaning. The doctor was absolutely incredible asking follow up questions about my family that we had discussed at previous appointments and really took the time to listen and converse with me. He also fixed an issue I had with a very small front chipped tooth that all other dentists said was "unworth the fix". This is the best dentist office setting I have ever had the privilege to go to. 10/10!

Fantastic experience: I had a terrible dentist experience in 2015. That combined with not having dental insurance kept me away from the dentist until this year. I've had 3 appointments at Bander and it is the most comfortable I have felt in a dentist/doctor-type of environment. Everyone I've worked with is very knowledgeable and I never feel like I'm asking a dumb question. The office is cozy, the people are friendly, and everyone is very transparent about procedures, payments, and the overall "dental roadmap".

Positive experience: I have recently changed Dentist due to location. Bander Dental office is newly renovated. The space is very clean with new updated dental equipment. The dental staff is extremely welcoming, polite, and happy to be working there. Wait time was minimal and once in a chair you got the staffs undivided attention towards your dental care. The dentist explained the processes and to goal to my health dental hygiene. Scheduling future visit was easy as well.

Negative experience: Hard pass; don’t let the high review score or number of reviews fool you. Consider where the practice is located and demographic it caters to as a result — THAT population is who Bander Dental prefers and everything about how they treat people who don’t fit THAT demographic, is a reflection of their preference. The practice lacks diversity and Dr. Doose is one of the most pretentious, haughty and condescending healthcare providers I’ve ever met. From the belittling manner in which she talked to me about the fact that I don’t own and can’t afford a waterpik, to her overall {lack of} chairside manners I went to the practice once and will never return. There are some extremely kind and caring dentists in GR. Go to them.

Recently I have become a patient at Bander dental and could not be happier. Because of how thorough and personable all of the staff are, I can say that the process of getting regular appointments in and procedures done is a lot less daunting than before. From scheduling to billing to the appointments, everything is perfect and goes smoothly. Communication and expectations are clear when it comes to my care. Fantastic experience: After moving to Rockford we sought advice from our good friends about their dental provider. They recommended BDG to us, so I contacted them about an oral issue I was having. I was able to get in for my ‘intake assessment’ within days! After the assessment they scheduled two procedures to rectify my issue, both accomplished in a two week span, so that I could use my insurance coverage effectively. I was amazed to be seen and cared for so quickly! The team is welcoming, pleasant and their equipment is state of the art. I would highly recommend them!

Negative experience: I liked the teeth cleaning but I left because the office is unethical. They charged me for something my insurance covered. I have asked 3 times for my credit to be refunded. Every time they admit I have credit and they tell me I will get a check in 10 days but it never comes. I left the practice because I hate unethical businesses and I go to a different dentist now.

Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Haley and will never go to anyone else! I have extreme dental anxiety (I would shake and cry during every filling, check up, etc) and she has relieved those feelings almost completely. She’s very kind and professional, and makes you feel listed to. She answers every question without rushing you. She’s the best! She’s inspired me to be less afraid of the dentist, which will improve my overall oral health. Can’t recommend her enough!!

Negative experience: Had a great initial appointment! They were very thorough. I like how they ask what your goals are for your smile and create a plan to reach those. I was also pregnant during my appointment and they made sure I was comfortable which was a nice courtesy. Edit: after about a year with Bander I was left with three fillings that are now requiring to be re-done by my new dentist. The fillings from bander were extreme and heavily pushed that they all should be done within a short son of time. Due to the severity of fillings these have caused long term extreme pain and damage to my bite as they were also not aligned correctly. I found that this office is very quick to push for dental procedures and get things done on their timeline rather than listening to the needs of the patient, also pushes to sell products. SUPER disappointing experience because I was so excited in the beginning to work with them.
