Fantastic experience: I had not seen a dentist in over 20 years. I made an appointment with comfort dental of Crestview. A deep cleaning was required and my hygienist Diana was absolutely amazing!!! She was gentle yet thorough. I usually have anxiety about going to the dentist but she was completely understanding! She answered any questions I had, explained everything, and really put my worries at ease. I will continue to see her on a regular basis! Thanks Diana!!!

Negative experience: This post is in regards to my wife and her treatment and the scam that this office runs. After having a great experience here for a cleaning, she received a referral for another issue. Now she needed an extraction. This office called and said they could complete this. They gave us an out-of-pocket expense and informed us that insurance wouldn't cover it. She informed them that they were wrong and, when given the code, she called insurance herself and confirmed they would cover it. This office then billed insurance, and now that insurance is paying them less money than what they told us our out-of-pocket expense would be, they have canceled and refused to treat her for this extraction. If you go here, be AWARE: they are phishing for out-of-pocket money and will tell you that insurance does not cover things before ever calling or submitting to insurance.

Fantastic experience: All the staff is friendly and helpful. Dianna, our hygienist is very thorough, helpful and personable. Have been very happy with the workmanship, and the manner in which the staff puts forth every effort to please the patient. The new dentist is very good and very honest.

Negative experience: This place went so far down hill it’s not even funny. The dental hygienist is great but thats the only thing good about this place! 2 years after my son was seen here I received a bill. When asked why they said whoever was doing billing at the time of service didn’t take care of it., I already left this place months ago after they failed to update me on new policies they had. 1/10. Don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tran was fantastic. I haven't had the privilege of having much dental care in my life. I never once felt shamed or embarrassed. She was very compassionate and skilled. She is taking fantastic care of me and I'm going to keep coming back. She is amazing at communicating what is happening when it's happening and that definitely helps with the anxiety aspect of dental visits. I trust her and that is very important to me!!

Negative experience: Called in on a Friday with an emergency, a tooth causing a ton of pain. Had been told by a dentist to get a cbct scan to further evaluate the tooth. They referred me to an Endodontist that was not in network. I called around to find someone in network with my provider, the answering service told me they did not have an Endodontist but they could do the scan and refer to someone to take care of the tooth. Drove 44 mins Monday morning only to be told the answering service is not aware they can’t do the scan I need… very disappointed in their lack of patient care. They should at the very least be able to access whether they can care for you or not. I would not recommend using them.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff who were very helpful. The RDH, Diana, was very knowledgeable and efficient and explained everything as she went. Could not have asked for a better experience. A+++

Negative experience: We were kicked out of your Crestview establishment because my wife had questions about removing another tooth. They need classes on customer relations. It is terrible. Referred us to a dentist 50 miles away, Pensacola. Leaving their work unfinished for someone else to finish. Comfort Dental too big for its britches. All wife was trying to do was ask dentist why he didn't remove 1 additional tooth & one of the counter girls had to stick her nose into something that she had no business involved in.

Fantastic experience: Had my biannual cleaning and check up with Diana, my registered dental hygienist this week, and she was so thorough caring about every aspect of the multiple issues I have going on with my teeth. I have bruxism and need extra care because I have cracked three teeth in the last couple of years. Because of my insurance, I had three crowns done at another office, but needed Diana to get everything updated. Since I am not a dentist/ dental hygienist nor do I play one on TV, I couldn't explain the work that had been done in my mouth. However, I opened up wide and Diana saw all the work and was able to get everything updated in my record by just looking in my mouth. We also talked about how the treatments I was getting to manage the bruxism was working and she truly cares. Comfort Dental Care in Crestview is not only convenient for me location wise, everyone I come in contact with either in-person or by phone are exceptionally professional and knowledge. I highly recommend the Crestview office if you're looking for a dentist that can treat you and the whole family!

Fantastic experience: Dr Julie Tran is absolutely amazing! I had to get a filling done on a tooth that had previously had a filling. It ended up hurting for about a week afterwards so I came back in and she worked her magic and fixed it within seconds! I was so miserably in pain and was worried they’d have to do a root canal or pull it or something because of how much it hurt but Dr Tran was very calm and understanding and listened and managed to fix it. I highly recommend Comfort Dental, especially Dr Tran!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy with my care from Comfort Dental. They are not like other places I’ve been to. They all gave me a giant treatment plan that is overwhelming and intimidating. I went to comfort dental and told them exactly what my problem was and what I could afford. They set my appt up and only focused on my pressing concern. I went today for my filling and I cannot say enough positive things about the entire staff. From beginning to end I had the best experience. Thank you comfort dental for everything! I will definitely be back for the rest of my treatment!

Negative experience: Has cancelled or rescheduled on me approximately 10 times the day before the cleaning in the last 2-3 years. Scheduling time off constantly then being cancelled on isn't enjoyable. If I were to do this to you guys, you guys would be making me pay cancellation fees

The dentist was also attentive and careful to keep me comfortable the entire visit. Update ... Had an issue with a filling installed two days earlier. They worked me into the schedule the day I called, and fixed it on the spot! Doctor Tran was awesome! I can't recommend this dentist enough!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Comfort Dental over two years and am so glad I did! It all started with a cracked tooth and I was in within a few days to have an extraction. The extraction, I was put to sleep, was the best experience I’ve ever encountered! I’ve since had another extraction, implants and root canal. Dr. Mina is the best! He’s done all the work on my teeth. He is so gentle and caring. Dr. Mina also explains everything so you can understand. Anquan assisted in all my procedures, he is welcoming explains what he is doing and always has a smile! I love these two men!!!! Ashley was so helpful with pricing, explaining and finding ways to pay for procedures. She is always singing!! Positive experience: The three stars is because of the Non communication of the office itself. Give the office itseld 1 star. Doctor and assistant would rock 5 stars. Dr and assistant was amazing. My first appt was March 28th and after my appointment, the office would not let me set up a cleaning appt at the time of my first visit. They even told me that they are currently booked a long way out. Hence me wanting to go ahead and get scheduled. Instead, I'm told me that a Treatment Coordinator would have to call me back. Now as of almost a month later, no followup or call. When i called them to make my own appt, the mgr said after reviewing my file, i was to get scheduled for something we never even discussed nor do i qualify for with my insurance. They still dont know if anyone requested my previous records from my other dentist office, and they would need to get them before treatment. She did say i could also ahead and book but they were booking way out. At this point what is the point. I'll go see someone else who actually cares about their patients. It's sad such a wonderful dentist would have a poor team who does not communicate with their patients.

And the staff was great even though I cried... I had to find new Dentist after 10 yrs because mine no longer takes my insurance. I know they will take great care of me.

It was a pleasure having professionals manage my anxiety with humility and grace. The patience you showed me is so refreshing and I am very thankful. You see, I am a fifty-seven-year-old woman who cries whenever I need a filling or subsequently a crown. It is do to the fact of having a traumatic experience with a Dentist in the past. That experience caused me to be very scared with high anxiety each time I must get such a procedure in the present. I am extremely terrified of those kinds of procedures. On this day, I had two angels with me who were so wonderful. They took such care for me with so much professionalism that it is worthy of praise. Again, I thank those angels (the Dentist and Assistant), and I give them all the praise of ensuring my teeth are healthy and maintained.

Positive experience: Used to be very pleased. The actual dental care is fantastic, but the overall atmosphere of this place is changing. My dentist said I could purchase an over-the-counter mouthguard, but the person making my treatment plan said, "we don't recommend that - those could cause damage, you need to get one from us (even after I told her what my dentist said). Then tried to push a 'discount program ' on me- when I pointed out the terms of service said the charges automatically renew every year, she said, "that's only if you send it in, that's why I make our patients call...you should call right now to get a discount on your work done today" Looked up more info on the website, guess what? ALL plans automatically renew every year... I'm not getting anything if you can't be transparent. The assumption that I was purchasing a custom mouth guard from them went all the way up to the checkout where I had to decline a 4th time. I come here for quality work, not high pressure sales. Do better.

Fantastic experience: Comfort Dental has been absolutely awesome in taking care of my dental needs. Dr. Mina is probably the best dentist I have “ever” had and I have had many during my time. He explains the conditions and corrective measures in an easily understandable way. He is very meticulous while working on my teeth and can sense when I can feel the pain during procedures. He had a demeanor reflecting a genuine caring for my needs and to provide a less painful event. His staff are very friendly and highly proficient in their duties. Comfort Dental is Top Notch! I had an exam and X-rays on 26 Feb 25 and it was again Outstanding! Genuine care and meticulous work by Dr Mina and the X-ray tech Diana was top shelf! Having many fillings and crowns, she cleaned and polished without any issue, keeping me informed on what she was doing. Professional work all around. Great Job!

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome!!!! I have been told I have a medical issue & I need to be cleared from a dentist. I called Comfort Dental & explained my situation & they got me in as a new patient a couple days later. The dentist & all the ones I dealt with actually acted like they cared!! Fantastic experience: After some miscommunication regarding scheduling my appointment Dr. Tran and the office manager were able to accommodate my cleaning on-top of the appointment for X-rays and an evaluation. Dr. Tran was very polite, thorough, personable and knowledgeable and listened to my concerns regarding an ongoing tooth issue I’ve had. She also did my cleaning. The office manager was very polite and helpful in assisting with addressing the issue with the scheduling and being able to figure out where the issue was. Thank you.

Negative experience: For Exam, and Cleaning, and Fillings, I would give 5 stars. They very much make sure you are comfortable and experience no pain! Unfortunately my experience in regards to wisdom tooth extraction has not been a good experience in any way shqpe or form. I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted 4 days ago. I woke up during the last tooth being extracted in severe panic having a panic attack and they just kept telling me to calm down and refused to sedate me any further. I felt EVERYTHING while they were trying to get that last tooth out and then ended up doing some more local anesthetic on the tooth they were still extracting. They just kept telling me to breath through my nose cause my O2 sat was dropping... well no duh, I'm hyperventilating because I could feel everything and was panicking in excruciating pain! That was traumatic to say the least and when they wheeled me out my husband was so confused as to why I was so conscious and not acting as if I had been sedated at all. I was 100% lucid and conscious and still having a panic attack. And was already in severe pain. I immediately took the pain meds as prescribed and all other medications and followed all post op instructions to a T. No straws, no spitting, liquids only, no rinsing till day 2, etc. The next morning I was still in severe pain. My husband went up to Comfort Dental and we were told the Doctor who did my procedure was on vacation and they may not be able to reach him, but they'll try and reach out and see what he says. They eventually filled a prescription for a different medication, which I am very grateful for, but the order wasn't sent till around 8pm that night so I wasn't able to get it filled till the next day. Which, honestly I understand, they had to get ahold of him... but they have other doctors on staff, and you'd think they would want to make sure their patients are well taken care of especially after such a rough experience! But unfortunately it doesn't end there! The pain meds were prescribed for 3 days, and I took them as prescribed and was told the pain should be declining by day 4 or so post op, but that's not what happened and im getting increased amount of pain, throbbing severe pain spred through my jaw. They are closed on the weekends, so I called them today (monday) and advised I was having increased pain and believed I had dry socket on some of the extraction sites and explained everything i was feeling. Spoke with someone who asked a few questions and she said everything i stated was "normal" and that the doctor was out of office still (again, that's fine doctor's have lives too and are allowed to go on vacation! But why is there not someone there to be able to assist patients with post op problems if they have these procedures being done???) and she would call me back in about 30 minutes. An hour goes by and they still never called back. I ended up just going to a different dental office that was able to get me in as a walk in. They confirmed I had two severe dry sockets and they packed them with a medicated gauze to reduce the pain and prescribed more pain meds and offered to do it all for FREE as they were absolutely baffled by the fact that a dental office (Comfort Dental) did a procedure, and then basically just disappeared after and isn't doing anything to help their patient out even after being told they would call back, but they never did. Comfort Dental has been less than helpful since the wisdom tooth extraction! For preventative care, cleanings, and fillings 5 stars. For Wisdom tooth extraction, I would give 0 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: It was amazing. From the moment I I entered the reception area customer service was world class. They made w feel part of a family truly caring about my experience. The dental serve was fantastic. It felt like they had leading technology from X-ray to cleaning. And my dental hygienist was hilarious making my visit both plan less and enjoyable. Positive experience: The dental hygienist was very helpful with cleaning my son's teeth. My son has special needs and usually is very nervous going to any Dr. or Dentist appointments. She did x-rays as well as teeth cleaning and she was very gentle and did a good job.

Diana was my hygienist and she was very professional, gentle and answered all of my questions and concerns. All of the staff at the location greeted me with smiles and great conversation. Fantastic experience: Kim was very gentle to my 5 year old son. She made my son feel comfortable during imaging which was his first time. She also made sure that my son was relaxed during the cleaning. Kim is highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Have been a loyal patient for over 15 years and have received excellent care. Staff is wonderful even though I butcher their names when I am seen, but they don’t mind Debbie, Mikala, and Rayunal you are wonderful. However, The only draw back is if you get a crown by another doctor in the office and they leave, you will be charged.

Fantastic experience: I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Jessica at the Mary Easter office. She took the time to listen to my dental issues and worked her magic to get all my dental records together so I could get set up for an appointment. Comfort Dental has always been my favorite dental facility, so much that I drive an hour to the closest facility. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: The entire dental procedure was exceptionally straightforward and painless. I underwent the extraction of three bothersome teeth. The process progressed seamlessly, without any complications or issues. I did not require anesthesia, and the staff exhibited exceptional friendliness and professionalism. They successfully extracted all three teeth and administered stitches before discharging me within two hours. Summer was highly accommodating and courteous in assisting me with the necessary preparations for the procedure and expediting the enrollment process for CareCredit.

Dr. Lily was fantastic and very informative . She didn't judge and was compassionate! Definitely will be referring other families to them.

Negative experience: This place is a sham . We stopped going years ago to the joke of them requiring sedation for all children. We decided to give them a chance for adult services and again they add unnecessary procedures just for the money. A recommendation is fine but when you recommend and it’s declined you decline service. That’s not ok and since the visit I have called 3 other offices and they all confirmed that the recommendation was not needed and fine to not want

She is very thorough and explains everything she is doing and always asks if I have questions. I feel my teeth are very clean after each visit. Fantastic experience: Update 1/27: cleaning amazing with Mackenzie friendly staff members, painless procedure. they took the extra time to work out an issue with my insurance by personally calling the insurance company. dental assistants/technicians were amazing ensuring proper suction and gentle in the mouth. The dentist performing the procedure was meticulous and professional ensuring there was no pain throughout and following up at the end to ensure the filling had complete seal. Plan to go back for many years to come for work needed in the future. sidenote: great music in the background.
