Fantastic experience: I’ve repeatedly had great experiences with the staff in Waterbury and am happy with results obtained from my dentist. I needed work as I had not taken care of my teeth as well as I should’ve, and promptly was given my treatment plan and have had great results with it! They comforted me through my procedures as I got nervous and ensured a thorough job. Staff have always been courteous and empathetic and I appreciate that. I also love their automated system (helps to get quick answers!) Can’t wait to come back!

Negative experience: I got teeth pulled. They didnt give me any gauze or care instructions until I asked when I was let go. I was also supposed to get antibiotics prescribed from my pharmacy to pick up and they never sent out the order. I have been trying to get my prescription for the past 3 days and now im just pissed because this shouldn't have happened. They just keep putting me on hold but im sure they did that to keep me off until they closed. Very disappointed as I didnt have issues with the Dr dental in Norwalk like I did this one.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Doctor Dental on Thomaston. The staff are amazing there and I highly recommend them for their expertise and the manner in which they treat their patients. In the past, I had an unpleasant experience which keep me away from visiting the dentist. I reluctantly showed up for my appointment because I was nervous but I had the best hygienist who assured me and did an excellent job. I could tell that he truly cares about his patients. Thanks to Dorian I finally can smile again and my anxieties are lessen. I truly appreciate all your help and patience.

Fantastic experience: I had my cleaning done today and my dental hygenist was very detailed and gave me good advice on the enamel and whitening of my teeth. He also took extra time to get a second eye on my x-rays and I really appreciated the time they took to make sure my teeth are in the best health they can be.

Positive experience: I was not to happy the dentist didn’t help me at all, came out really disappointed on top of that. I’ve been waiting for my x-rays results and still haven’t got them. But yet I’m getting emails about surveys but not my x-rays

Negative experience: My daughter visited there office on 12/23 for an emergency she was told that they was not in my network. I had to call my insurance and they reassured me that the office my daughter visited is in network. I find this level of incompetence upsetting because my daughter visiting this office only to be turned away.

Fantastic experience: Dorjan was amazing he gave me a wonderful through cleaning. It didn’t hurt & was perfect at the end. Dr. Arora was careful with the anesthesia and happened to give me everything I didn’t know I needed with a standard FMX I look forward to continuing the tx plans she made. Heidi & genesis were also tentatively gentle & helpful during The Whole appointment. Yadira checked me in quick.

Positive experience: I stopped coming here a few years ago, due to rude and unprofessional treatment. I worked with Dorian yesterday, and am VERY impressed with his courtesy and professionalism. The receptionist was nice also. I look forward to my next appointment because Dorian explained the procedure well, and I trust that he will take care of me. What a difference between then and now! I am thankful.

Negative experience: I was going to wait to speak up, but I decided to leave a review. If you have Medicaid, DO NOT GO HERE FOR A ROOT CANAL. I do. And, I went here for a root canal. The woman who did the root canal traumatized my teeth above the one she was working on, by hitting them repeatedly and extremely hard with metal instruments. The last blow was the hardest, which she simply said, "sorry. Im done now." When I went home, I had pain. I think either that day or the next, I went to work as a PCA, and the entire side of my face went numb. I felt sick.. while trying to do care taking work for a dementia client, which put me in an awkward position. I was in pain for months till those teeth healed on their own. I went back twice...bravely...and asked nicely if they could just please check and see why I continue to have pain in the root canal. The regular dentist was very nice. But she didnt see what was wrong. I could also overhear in the background, whom I think may have been the woman who did my canal, saying loudly/angrily "someones insurance wasnt even adequate enough." I have no idea if it was the same woman who did my canal or if she was talking about me or not. But, my trust is broken. Uconn enlarged an x-ray they took of my root canal. The problem was obvious to them. I have been in pain since springtime because this woman not only left a piece of instrument in my tooth, but she perforated the root. The material they put in the canal went through the perforated root and is sticking too far into my nerves to operate on. I am waiting for Uconn to tell me if I need to have the tooth pulled, or if i can just live with the pain I guess forever?... that this woman at Dr Dental performed a root canal on. Honestly, I made a big mistake going there. I should have gone to a regular dentist and made payments instead of using medicaid. Do not make the same mistake. Save your teeth! And save yourself from the trauma and broken trust that dentists like this get away with!

Negative experience: I don't know if it's me but this is the second time I want there and I they had me sitting there for an hour just to tell me we can't help you a whole hour I sat there

Negative experience: Update: ive been waiting since june for them to send in for my insurence. It is now November and i called and now all of a sudden when i ask about it the answer i got was its not in your treatment plan thing. I waited 6 months for that, why not say that the other times i called.Ill probably end up losing my bottom front teeth now because its been so long!! I highly do not recommend this office. Contex: i am a type 1 diabetic who didnt have dental insurence where I was at the time so the disease attacked my teeth and by the time I moved to ct amd qualified for insurence it was to late and I have periodontal now(even tho I brush every day , I was supoise to go for cleanings every 3 months to make sure I didnt get an infection but the state I live in at the time kicks you off when you become a certain age) DO NOT GO HERE! This office is hard to get in touch with, every time I call i gst a automated text system because no one answers. Also they take there sweet time to do ANYTHING. I went in June to be seen and was told they had to get a prior authorization from my insurance, here it is November and my insurence says they they still have not sent in for it. And every time I call and do get some one its been oh well thsts handled by 3rd party and ill check on it for you, but nobody ever checks or gets back to me. I will deff be switching to a diffrent dentist

Positive experience: My mother had a 11:00 AM appointment and after an hour and a half, they told her the Dentist for her ailment wasn't there. This is the second time this has happened in the past 6-7 months. She is 85 years and it's difficult for her to get out of the house. Next time have the decency to call and let her know.

They keep rescheduling my daughter‘s dentist appointment because they keep saying they don’t have dentist. Every time we go, it’s always a different Dentist . The place is horrible service they unorganized and very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: This is by far thee best dentist office I've ever been to! The entire staff were friendly and courteous. They are upbeat and have a vibe you have to feel to believe. They asked Google to play Britney Spears music when I arrived for my appointment, which was right when they opened, so you can imagine what kind of tone they set for the entire day. Dr. Dorion was gentle and explained his results in a way that was easy for me to understand. I appreciate the attention the staff gave to making sure I had a smooth and positive experience. I'm usually afraid to go to the dentist, now I'm looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Dr. Dental, it means a lot to me.

Positive experience: The staff were friendly and well organized, they identified the problem and fixed it immediately and I think they must have done a good job because my mouth is in minimal pain The only potential issue is that due to high demand and volume of patients means they're very busy and so the (in-office) wait time can long. It's not their fault, and I'm glad that they take the time to be thorough instead of rushing even if it means waiting a little longer.

Fantastic experience: They didn't extract my tooth. But I understood that my blood pressure had to be ok. They showed me that they really do care about my health before doing the procedure.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. 9am, went in for an emergency, they took 2 X-rays, the doctor spent all of 30 seconds with me, looked at the problem with her mirror, and said she'd call in a prescription. 5 hours later the pharmacy still had t received anything, I called the office at least 7 times to follow up. No one answers and a recording says to respond to the text message you'd be receiving. I did so and told the text person that I was waiting for a prescription for antibiotics to get called in. I was told "I'll send this information to the front desk and they will get back to you asap". No one ever called me back. At 4pm I got fed up and booked with a different dentist and called my primary care doctor who filled a 2 day prescription for antibiotics to hold me over until that next dentist appointment. Never heard from anyone at Dr. Dental and will not be going back.

Negative experience: I have been struggling with this dentistry since June. I was in severe pain and every appointment I had was rescheduled due to them not having the materials needed to do a bone graft. I also had to go to to emergency room and get antibiotics because my dentist went on vacation and they couldn’t send out my script that she forgot to send out before her vacation. I was calling for 3 days and getting sent to voicemail or automatic texts saying someone will reach out to me soon before I went to the ER. Today, while I was being serviced to have a tooth extraction and the bone graft material was STILL NOT AVAILABLE the dentist told me she was doing me a favor because I wasn’t scheduled to have an extraction today mind you I have been going back and forth with them since June about this same tooth. The actual service was fine but the bantor about how she’s helping me out and doing me a favor and how she needs to go check her other paitents has been hurting me all day long I was treated poorly today. Then when I went to pay for my procedure the receptionist was upset with me and she was rude she gave me my receipt sliding it across the counter she didn’t say have a nice day or thank you or even give me a care instructions paper. I had to get it from the dentist after asking for it twice. They were nasty to me and I was in pain they continued to be nasty,

Negative experience: Free jaw pain with every visit! Walked in for a cleaning, walked out with three weeks of jaw pain. They even gave me a bonus double injection—first one with no medicine! No follow-up, no care, just excuses. Highly recommend… if you hate yourself.”

Negative experience: They canceled my appointment at the last minute, and I scheduled it two days before and the time was until 7pm, they called me on the day of the appointment saying they can no longer see me, I work all day and I thought they would be able to see me at 6pm, but no, they called and canceled it on the very day... this is a joke, now I'm going to have to stay with my sore and broken tooth...

Fantastic experience: The gentleman who took care of me was absolutely outstanding! He was very helpful, patient and caring! I had an appointment for 11am and assisted me with getting a payment plan set up because my insurance didn't cover the procedure ...the website was being a pain and took a while to get it set up and he helped the whole way through ....even i was getting frustrated but he continued to help until it was all done... so he was more then helpful . I remember his name its Dr. Dorian I have to go back Friday and I really hope he will be the one who finishes my procedure because he was very professional and gentle! Negative experience: I had my first appointment about a month ago as I had gum pain and thought I had a hole in my tooth. The doctor (I believe) told me I just needed a cleaning and said “are you satisfied” i said no I’m in pain and she prescribed this mouthwash that left my entire mouth and tongue burning for two days. At that appointment I had scheduled a cleaning for today, July 19 at 9 am. I went today at 8:55 and wasn’t called in to the room until 9:45, then waited an additional 15 minutes for someone to come see me. Then she asked what I was there for, I said a cleaning, she told me i need to reschedule as there are no hygienists there on Saturdays. Why make me wait an hour just to tell me I need to reschedule? Why did the lady at the front desk book the appointment for a day there are no hygienists? Safe to say I will not be returning.

Positive experience: They also had my teeth for my top teeth and would not give them to me cause my medcaide would not pay for them until 2027

Negative experience: I wish I was able to give this company a zero star. They Cancelled my appointment 2 x on a roll and now they would like to reschedule me for two months from now. I have waited for 2 months and now they would like me to wait another 2 months and who knows if they will reschedule me again. I am very disappointed.

Negative experience: I will never return to Dr. Dental. On June 13, 2025, I had an appointment with the endodontist regarding severe tooth and gum pain. She briefly looked at my tooth, quickly dismissed it as “not endo to her assistant and walked out without offering any guidance or explanation about my gum pain. I was left confused and frustrated. Her attitude was extremely rude and dismissive. Just because I have state insurance does not mean I should be treated with any less respect or care than someone with private coverage. Everyone deserves compassion and professionalism in healthcare—unfortunately, that was completely lacking during my visit.

Fantastic experience: This was my very first visit to Doctor Dental, I must say it was a nice visit indeed, everyone was impressive and professional , looking forward to continuing my experience , visit number two was even better than the first visit , this place is great you want be disappointed if you choose Dr. Dental

Negative experience: Got fillings done in December and was scheduled for a root canal January which they cancelled on me the day prior. Rescheduled for March they cancelled again due to the doctor not feeling well. I rescheduled again for May and once again the day before they cancelled on me the day prior due to being short staffed! I let them know I’ve been dealing with teeth pain and they seem just empathetic! They will cancel on you day before and won’t be able to reschedule for 2-3months out no matter what you’re dealing with!

I had an appointment at 2;30 pm and I arrived at the local more than 15 minutes earlier than asked but the nurse who assisted me just took the X-ray and I needed to wait for the dentist until 2:52 pm to see me. There was a sign outside showing the price for the first appointment to new customers $75.00 and they charged $197.00 because the financial girl told me they don't use that price anymore but I paid $80.00 arguing about that. They accept cash but they don't have change. Horrible!!!! On the website the price is $57.00 and I just saw that when I tried to find a local to complain about that visit. I don't recommend that place in Wayerbury for anyone. Unacceptable so many mistakes.

Negative experience: ZERO STAR No wonder why y'all have very bad reviews, not even the manager can properly handle situations.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL RECEPTIONIST/ RUDE. I asked to schedule for a convenient date and time for my kids due to school and she started giving me an attitude and gave me the wrong date so I told her this is not the correct date she wrote on the paper and GOT mad and SNATCHED it out of my hand, while her manager present and so I told her not to ever do that again NOT TO ME OR ANYONE ELSE and she started screaming "BYE I ain't got no time to argue with you NEXT". I ASKED to speak with a manager and NOTHING was done. I told them to cancel my appointments and we are no LONGER coming here again, I requested for our medical records, lost 3 patients in total today and we have a new dentist. ZERO STAR

Fantastic experience: Best dentist I ever had. The dentist there, forgive me doc, Dr. Dosapati, is amazing. She never does unnecessary procedures nor does she lie about what she thinks would work in your situation. I am terrified of the dentist but she always is kind and gentle. Had a recent extraction and staff letvme know ahead of time the cost, the doctor made sure i was comfortable before starting the procedure. The office is in a dumpy part of Waterbury but make no mistake, the staff is amazing. I will definitely continue to have my dental work done there.

Negative experience: I was scheduled for my first appointment to have a cracked filling checked and was told from x-rays they had done and the initial check that I needed a root canal. I scheduled the root canal appointment for when their specialist would be in. When I came for that appointment I sat in the chair and someone came back and told me I needed to schedule an appointment with the specialist and that they weren't in the office that day. I then scheduled another root canal ( this was the second time coming in ) appointment on a day " the specialist would be there " I came into the office AGAIN and went to the back thinking my tooth would be fixed until another person came to me again and told me I needed to schedule an appointment on the day the specialist was there. I waited 3 months going back and fourth for multiple appointments to get this tooth fixed that would never happen. I kept going in on the days they would tell me the root canal specialist was in and that dentist never was there. Now my tooth completely broke. I made an appointment at a different dentist as this is now a dental emergency.

Fantastic experience: I was called 45 minutes before the appointment time. Eight people were waiting with me. The three people who came after me went in and the seven people who were with me also went in. There was no one left except me, I am still waiting..I am embarrassed with my money. I wonder what I was waiting for two hours for. Were you discovering a new planet there or trying to split the atom again? You ruined one of my days. I cancelled and left.

Negative experience: I was scheduled for 3pm and 4pm and they took other people first that had just got there after me mean while we were there at 250pm 10 mins before the scheduled appointment and then when i get up to ask why those people that just walked in where taken first then they tell me that oh i forgot to tell you we Reschedule my daughters 3pm appointment and didnt even tell me and on top of that they were supposed to scheduled the 4pm one for construction with ortho oh and the girl who called my daughter back to take pictures "on a phone" NEVER HAVE I EVER SEEN any dentist do that nor use a phone sanitized or not i didnt see her clean it before starting to put her hands in my daughters mouth and phone all near her mouth i stopped her and told her excuse me that cant be sanitary witch she also took a picture of my daughter like mug shots i have no idea why but when i asked she kept doing her thing and let me just say NEVER HAVE I EVER and all that to not have them pull her tooth but all today was a waste of time and money charged to my insurance for nothing for them not to do what was said when the appointment was made soooo disappointed and super unhappy about how they handled their jobs at the end of the day not professional at all.. horrible experience today

Negative experience: 0 stars if I could. This place: 1. Won't respond to my calls 2. Won't answer my emails, or my Dentist's emails. 3. Called me in "to get seen" then when I arrived it was a consultation for braces (after I already took PTO). 4. Was cancelled twice because the Individual (Hygenist) took a last-minute vacation leave. 5. Has had me wait in the waiting room for at least an hour, last 2 appointments so I wasn't seen because I had other engagements. 6. When trying to transfer, they failed to release x-rays (If any) and documents. This establishment's service went from bad, to the point that they aren't even providing a service anymore. So 0 stars

Negative experience: Went to dr.dental today to get two teeth extracted and the doc that was there literally gave me about 20 shots of Novacaine and then told me to wait 10 minutes to see if I was still in pain before extraction And the doctor refused to do the procedure
