Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Lane & Associates-St. Charles. Everyone was very friendly & professional. Dr. Georgiev & Dr. Segal were both very informative on what they were doing during each procedure. And their associates LaToya & Deidria couldn’t have been nicer. I am very pleased I chose this practice.

Fantastic experience: This appointment was for a crown. Nikki is awesome. She makes you feel comfortable. If you have a phobia about going to the hygienst/ dentist? No worries because Nikki talks through every step on what she going to do so there's no surprises. She is an expert at what she does.

Negative experience: Orthodontics review only! It does absolutely no good to have a ortho that only is present one day a week and does not service any other locations when they are the one installing braces. I cant get my child's brackets fixed bc other Orthodontist dont want to go behind another's work and has to eat mush for a whole week to be seen bc that Orthodontist only works for yall one day a week. This is ridiculous and yall as a company need to do better!

Fantastic experience: The main reason I came to this location is because of Dr. Lou. She is very kind and caring. She called me to check in after my root canal and I thought that was so thoughtful. However, today I found out that she is no longer there. This really saddens me to hear of this and I would have thought customers would have been informed. Needless to say, I went for my cleaning and was assisted by Coritha. I was very skeptical at first because Katie normally does my cleans but also learned since my cleaning 6 months ago she left as well. But Coritha did an amazing job. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed at the same time. I wish this was her normal location but she informed me that she is out of Apex. So now I have to decide if the next person is worth returning or should I go to a location near my home.

Negative experience: Overall do not recommend this location. Do not trust Dr. Victoria Gill with your child's dental care.

Negative experience: The dentist is awesome, super sweet and listened to all of our concerns. Charlene at the front desk has a NASTY and I mean nasty attitude problem. Considering I work in customer service I was very disappointed in how she spoke to my sister when she called with concerns about my nephew being in pain. She dismissed everything she said and then began to argue with her that he was in fact not in pain. It’s great when you have an awesome dentist, but you need to make sure the rest of your staff is up to par as well. Will not recommend this office to anyone!!!!! Beware.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Lane and Associates for about 5 years and I have always had a great experience. Today I had a cleaning with probably the best person to ever do a cleaning for me. She was informative through out the experience letting me know what she was doing and why. She even explained the tools she was using and their function. Her energy was absolutely fantastic!! This experience with her has truly solidified my love for Lane and Associates. I’m terrible with names but if you have ever been a patient at the Cary location you probably know who I’m talking about. Thank you for the great experience!!

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment today at the Cary St. Charles place location and was seen right away at the time my appointment was scheduled for. The hygienist Melissa was very nice and personable. She had a great positive attitude and answered any questions I had and explained in detail that I understood. This office is always clean and attentive when you check-in. I will definitely be back to this location.

Negative experience: Bad attitude of a girl name Raven with my 6 year old daughter. It feels like she is (picking on my color) from the beginning . When I complained the office manager she did not witness anything still Believe her staff. We waited 1 hour in the Clinic and feel Harassed by the Raven and the office Manager. At the end they refused to finish the treatment of my 2 children. Office Manager threatened me in the beginning we have a choice to dismiss you from our clinic if I complained about Raven not being patient with kids. Give some training to have some empathy and compassion to your staff. One employee was amazingly patient who did cleaning to my son I requested if she can deal with kids they stated yes but you have to wait. She started the treatment and then Dr came out stating this clinic might not be a good fit for you :( And give me a sheet of paper to look for new clinics. With out investigation that’s how you treat your patients !

Negative experience: What a shame. If you miss their messages for any reason, they simply move your appointment without confirming with you. Even worse, they keep a counter of “missed appointments,” and after two, they stop seeing you entirely. The front desk staff told me he’d speak to his manager to see if my “violation” could be reduced to a warning level—just so I could be seen later, not even on the scheduled day. The medical staff itself is professional and kind, but the administrative policies feel outdated and overly punitive. In a time when dental practices are everywhere, having to negotiate your way back in over an appointment reminder feels absurd.

Negative experience: Expect Better! It’s a shame - I thought we had a connection- over 7 years of going here. When tested - I learn I was wrong. Earlier this year, I moved out an appointment a couple times when my mom was dying. 3 Trips out of town: Went to see her- went to be with her when she dies - went back to the funeral. Every time I called the office and shared reason for moving appt out. Always with a week’s notice or more. Finally able to go in (new bridge) and Dr was terse and unkind. I could not believe his demeanor, thinking I misunderstood him, so I said , trying to give him an out “you sound impatient with me” to which he said abruptly “I thought we were on the same plan”. I cried. He didn’t acknowledge my issues which I was told was in my chart. Their overt insensitivity and the 2+ hour appointment and my mom’s death all hit hard. I told the assistant “he made me very sad” to which she said “ it happens”. Went back for the final appt of this bridge procedure and they didn’t mention the previous appointment. they were not war, they were not chatty or engaging - and after the appointment I said “I won’t be coming back” to which she said “ok we will cancel your cleaning”. She walked me to the front desk, advised I won’t be returning to which they said “ok, let us know who to send your files to,”. Clearly this office does not care - about the patient, about changes in plans, about someone leaving … no one asked me why. Unbelievable! Don’t go here if you want to have real kindness… understanding… or sincere engagement. All I wanted was acknowledgement - and I was discounted. They don’t need my business. But to me, my moms death and my feelings are much higher priority than our original plan. I expect better. Others should too. Dr Segal. Don’t go.

Negative experience: I normally would leave a good review because they were a pretty friendly staff but all that nice stuff goes out the window when you’re in pain. I have been going weekly and last week I had two fillings on top of having an infection in my tooth which they gave me antibiotics that are in the same family of ones that I’m allergic too and then the infection spreader I ended up going to the hospital getting amoxicillin which they could have given me to start with so fast forward I go in for an extraction today and they asked if I had pain meds left over from the hospital visit and I thought I had a few more and only had 2 left so I called to the dentist office so see if the could prescribe some and they told me they could only give me ibuprofen 800 which they already prescribed me last week I feel like I’m being treated unfairly especially considering how much work I need done and how much pain I’m in and as swollen as my jaw is. Read the aftercare instructions and what is says about pain medication

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of coming in today for a cleaning and had an absolutely great experience with Melissa. Her energy was amazing—so warm, welcoming, and genuinely uplifting. She was also incredibly informative, taking the time to explain the best techniques for properly cleaning my teeth and how to improve my overall oral health. I really appreciated how thorough and patient she was, making sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and loves what she does. Thank you, Melissa, for making my visit such a positive one !

Negative experience: This location must be closed. I called twice to set up an appointment (went directly to voicemail, left messages with my phone and email both times), sent them an email, and even submitted a booking request through the form on their website. After a week I got no response.

Fantastic experience: Melissa the hygenist is amazing. She was very informative. I have bad anxiety. She made sure I felt no pain. Her personality is so amazing. She made me feel relaxed and happy. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: I made a point of telling them in my first appointment that I wanted the nitrous gas they did write it down ect. Came appointment time I paid for everything, they started I asked about the gas I paid for and they said “you are doing good you don’t need it, we would have to wheel it in here.” I did get the money back but it’s just unfortunate weeks notice and a note and I paid for it before they call you back for them to be like ehh. Other than that they did extra numb me to make sure I was comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Hey, so I’m one of the mini people who are scared of dentists, therefore, I haven’t been in 20 years and therefore I needed a lot of work done. I had searched for practices that offered sedation, to no avail so finally when the toothache became too much, I chose laying in associates whom I had used in 2006. I’m visually impaired by the way they were great. They helped me check in, they checked in while they were doing their thing, they explained what they were doing. Everything was I don’t wanna say “great“ because-dentist, but they did their best to make it less Terrible. Everybody from the reception to the hygienist to the dentist are wonderful. As usual, I’m kicking myself for having waited so long. This is a great place to go for your dental needs.

Positive experience: The crew at this location has always been fine. I hate how much turnover there is. My issue here comes with the office staff. I have been trying to transfer my dental service to another dentist and I cannot get Cary St. Charles on the phone and they didn't return my voicemail. Additionally contacting the main office of Lane has not provided fruitful either. No response when I call and no response to a web inquiry.

Fantastic experience: The procedure went well, actually fell asleep during the root canal. Would recommend to anyone needing oral surgery. The only drawback was, had to pay for a specialist since they didn't have an orthodontist at the Mebane location for some reason.

Positive experience: Update 2/2025: One month later, the bill I paid that day, & per their office 'paid in full', was UPDATED with more charges assigned to me vs insurance. Lane's original quote was incorrect-- I understand the "correction" yet I'm disappointed with another erroneous quote of fees which should have been represented accurately on the day of service. Accountability is important. Downgrading my review. 12/31/24: Wonderful experience for my urgent problem! After a razor-sharp chip in front, Dr. Segal & his team worked me in the same day—on 12/31, allowing my repair to be covered before my deductible reset on 1/1. Assistant Ana gave me an accurate quote. She & Dr. Segal have a gentle touch, & color-matched my bonding with great care. The result not only looks great, its aesthetically better and feels more robust than the older repair done years ago. Dr. Segal has a meticulous & conservative approach I truly appreciate. Appreciate his Lane/St.Charles Team for the excellent care!

Fantastic experience: I want to commend Dr Georgiev and his assistant on their incredible bedside manners and thoroughness. They recently performed an Apicoectomy and they both worked very hard to be as gentile as possible, to answer all of my questions, and to help calm my nerves. I'm very happy that I ended up with Dr Georgiev as my oral surgeon. Oral surgery is never a pleasant experience, but Dr Georgiev and his assistant went above and beyond for me, and for that I am very grateful.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a dental appointment with Nicole at Lane & Associates in Cary, NC, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience.  Nicole’s personable nature immediately put me at ease, even when I felt anxious about the cleaning due to it being a while since my last visit. She was attentive to my comfort, especially when my blood pressure was elevated from nerves. Nicole performed a gentle yet thorough cleaning and offered respectful recommendations for improving my oral hygiene habits. Her extensive knowledge about jaw muscles and TMJ was particularly helpful for my situation. I highly recommend Nicole for anyone seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable dental hygienist. Additionally, the front desk staff was courteous and professional, making the entire visit pleasant.

Negative experience: I would like to preface this review b6y saying I am elderly, ambulate with a walker and had to make arrangements for transportation since I no loner drive. Yesterday I arrived at this office at 11:00 for my scheduled appointment with my dentist to have cavities filled. While trying to check in there was some discussion amongst staff at front desk before a woman came out to speak with me .She informed me that because I did not answer my home telephone the day before when this office called to confirm my appointment, that I had been " bumped" today, "meaning my appointment had been given to another patient. I was told I could either re-schedule or wait and see " a new dentist.. "I explained to the staff that my 99 year old mother lives with me and that I had to leave her for a few minutes while I ran a quick errand. I added that she probably didn.t answer the phone because she did' not recognize the number. Staff again re-iterated my choices. In further discussion with another staff member I was told that they have to operate this way otherwise " It messes with the dentist's schedule." I told them to please cancel any future appointments as I would not be coming back.

Negative experience: You don't need a mouthguard and you don't have two small cavities that need filling. The people at the front desk are awesome! But avoid this place.

Fantastic experience: Just started coming here a couple weeks back and I love it here! I was seen both times by Dr. Mehta and Candais. Both are very sweet and kind people. Dr. Mehta was very patient answering all of my questions and telling me what she was doing every step of the way. Prices are very reasonable!

I’ve been looking for a great one in the area since I am new here, and this office is great. I went for a cleaning and my hygienist was Meryeme. She was super friendly and fast. She knew exactly what she was doing and was able to answer every question I asked her. Proud to say I FINALLY found my dentist office and my new dental hygienist Meryeme :)!

Dr. Segal and the staff (especially the hygienists) are truly fantastic. They listened to my worries, and provided calm, careful yet thorough care. She asked my concerns if any and provided very clear and concise answers. The dentist was great as well. Very patient with his assessment and identified all areas that needed future treatment. First class service all around.
