However I will admit i was a little caught off guard when my buddy Amanda didn't greet me from the waiting area to the appointment chair... but to my surprise HER replacement was just as amazing.... EMILY! Ben im sure had to shell out a couple of thousands for this kind sweet soul as an addition to the THOMPSON family! EMILY was very warm, kind, inviting, and she made the drill feel like a soft toothbrush! SO HAVE NO FEAR! Easy breezy! And as always my appointment ends with the BEST saved for last! America's BEST 2025 OF THE YEAR...dentist BEN THOMPSON! BEN is the best ! He keeps me on my toes to maintain the perfect smile i now have after a POST treatment plan of braces and invisalign at 50 years young! ! AND he knows when I cheat with whitening and have sensitivity so I have to confess my dental sins at each visit when I go a stray from the THOMPSON ritual, Colgate cavity toothpaste, NO TARTAR , NO WHITENING and listerine purple bottle NO ALCOHOL! which is economical on my wallet! If you’re an established patient and have an urgent situation, they will always make sure to get you in right away and take care of you without hesitation. They don’t just push the priciest option-instead, they focus on finding the best solution for you, one that actually fits your needs. Their pricing is also more reasonable than anywhere else I’ve been, and I’ve lived in multiple states! Even when I lived in Texas for a few years, I still made the trip back here just because of how much I trust and appreciate them. Every visit is handled with care, compassion, and professionalism. I did not write a review for a while because they do a drawing for people who leave reviews so I wanted to make sure that my review was fair and . I have almost lived in the area for 10 years and I’ve been to numerous dentist and this by far has been the best. They’re very organized everybody communicates well they do good work in and are nice. I personally love the communication and reminder emails and text messages that they give you, the office is clean and having the husband wife duo is a bonus. I have had numerous dental issues over the years and seem to visit pretty often and they have done a good job about getting me in an emergency situation. They also take care of my son and go is in his 20s. Hila is my hygienist and is the bomb.com.

Fantastic experience: My visit today with Thompson Dental was a great experience. They took me back exactly at my appointed time, the dental assistant was very thorough and explained everything that she was doing, and gave me some good ideas of how to improve my dental health. Dr. Susan came in and inspected a couple areas that she is watching and was very thorough and her exam. I would definitely recommend Thompson Dental if you were looking for a family oriented, efficient and personable dentist.

Fantastic experience: My teeth are important to me and this is the place to go to have your teeth taken care of. Coming from Lane and Associates who were not as knowledgeable and suspiciously said I needed fillings for incredibly faint x ray scans they said “that’s a cavity”. I am so happy to be at Thompson and Thompson for years now, you can’t beat their professional care and effective top notch dentistry when needed.

Even after we moved from down the road, I drive almost an hour to go to this dentist because I like them so much. If you're in the Triangle Area, go there you won't be disappointed. Update 7/2025: Still an awesome place and I highly recommend it. Best dentist I have ever been to.

Fantastic experience: I've seen many dentists over the years, and this is my favorite practice. Top-notch professional care is the norm, of course, but the staff is outstanding. It almost feels like visiting friends. Turnover is low so they really get to know you. This is refreshing in the era of factory practices, where you're lucky to see the same dentist twice. A warm and inviting atmosphere that was both professional and informative. They will walk through everything dealing with your dental hygiene and scans in-depth to guide you along to your personal goals. I just got out of my first visit today and that was the best cleaning I’ve had in years. I cannot express how hard it is to find someone dedicated to performing a cleaning thoroughly. Fantastic experience: Thompson Family Dentistry is THE practice to go to if you’re in search of THE BEST in dental care. Today marks my 18th year being a patient. I celebrate that and them! Entire staff is an absolute pleasure and shout-outs to Hannah, Amanda, Sharahn & of course Dr.’s Ben and Susan. Thank-you for all these years of a healthy mouth! Healthy oral hygiene I believe is key to overall great health.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at this practice for 2 years and have been very pleased from the start. All of my cleaning experiences have been great and Dr. Ben has also created a fitted mouth guard/retainer that has withstood my night time grinding and protected my teeth, something my orthodontist was unable to successfully do. This dental team is the best and truly cares about your concerns and provides a solution. I would recommend this dental office to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I was truly amazed at the care both my husband and I received at Thompson Family Dentistry. We just moved to the area and I did my homework, read reviews checked with our insurance company and it seemed like a great fit. We both have just been going through life having our teeth cleaned every 6 months. Dr. Ben did a series of X-rays a thorough check / cancer screening of teeth, mouth and neck. Dr Ben even did my cleaning which was the best cleaning I have ever had. We will continue with this practice going forward. Thank you

They are very friendly, supportive and pay close attention to the patient.
