Fantastic experience: Very caring and accommodating staff. Was treated like familia.

Fantastic experience: Familia Dental has truly won me over. The practice’s warm, welcoming atmosphere put my family at ease. Dr. Shivani was outstanding, offering clear, comprehensive explanations about each of my children’s dental needs. Dental assistant Sheyla was professional and meticulous while placing molar covers, and DA Porsha ensured we received all necessary orthodontic paperwork promptly. Check‑in was seamless thanks to receptionist Sharlyn. My sincere appreciation to the entire team for their exceptional care.

Negative experience: They are very rude and didn’t take my needs seriously also didn’t provide information that I needed prior to my appointment so they canceled my appointment because I didn’t have any of the paperwork. Why couldn’t they tell me over the phone what I needed to bring prior to my appointment. Even when I asked what I needed the said nothing just be 15 mins early.

Negative experience: I am vey disappointed with familia dental. I have been here for years. I have never had bad service. I went to get a cleaning done and I asked for no x-rays because usually my teeth are always good. They insisted for x-rays to check for cavities. The Dr. came back and said that I have 4 cavities. The Dr. Did not show me any x-rays nore explained to me what procedure needed to take place. She put 3 shots back to back and they were so painful my tears ran down and I was kicking from the pain. I had to push her hand away going toward the third shot because she went in so deep on all three shots and the pain was so bad to where I could not handle it. There should had been a dental assistant with me to calm me down and not just the doctor. After the procedure was done, everything seemed fine. I had to fly out for an emergency… It has been 2-weeks now and all my 4 molars have been hurting and seem like she left cracks or over drilled my molars. I have been in pain and cannot eat right. This is by far the worst service I have gotten. I always had great complements here about having great teeth and now they seem like they were over filed to make more money.

Negative experience: I make teeth, Im a dental ceramist and this place took a crown off during cleaning. The worst cleaning Ive ever had and on purpose so they can get more business. A cleaning should take about an hour, this took five and I felt like I was being jack hammered the entire time.

Fantastic experience: I ask for offering and they willing to make sure and appt to remove 4 and fill up and I appreciate for their patience and not roughy with me

Since I first went there some years ago I've always been impressed that they never have tried to sell but instead to educate & inform. We told our sister-in-law & she felt the same way. It shows trickle-down integrity & honesty. Thank you for being here!

Negative experience: Poor communication with office staff and the dentist…. everyone acted like they didn’t understand my problem I was having all I wanted was to repair my partial that I had gotten there at La Familia dental and no one seem to know anything about my dental records there. They are the only dentist I have ever seen in my life and after the cleaning. I received I had to have a tooth polled which I was in extreme excruciating pain and when I went to see them, they said that you will have to wait to get your tooth pulled because of your blood pressure and my MD doctors that I have all were surprised that the dentist did not pull my tooth because the dentist was saying that my blood pressure was too high and my medical doctors all signed off on permission for the dentist to pull my tooth but I still had to wait three days… and I suffered for those three days, and when I finally went to have the tooth pool, they almost didn’t wanna pull it again and they didn’t seem to recognize the paper they gave me to take to my medical doctors to sign off on to give them permission they did not want to accept and I was very upset as to what was the reason for them giving me the paper in the first place. If they weren’t gonna follow my medical doctors orders to pull the tooth, I find this whole situation very ridiculous and unacceptable and I will tell everyone I know to avoid La Familia dental at all costs

Fantastic experience: The people are very courteous, kind, patient, and prompt with appointments. The dentists are open to the kind of work each patient needs. I've always had a fear of dentists however they make sure I'm comfortable with whatever procedure they do.

Negative experience: Ruined my teeth. If they you have cavaties get a second opinion. Got right side cavaties removed. They shaved them so low i cannot chew on the right side anymore.

Fantastic experience: I am a 50+ yr old person who rather fight a bear than sit in a dentist's chair..I SWEAR! ALTHOUGH, of course there was some pain but not as bad as my visit 20+ yrs ago(another office). I had 2 extractions at once. The dr and staff saw how nervous i was and did all they could do to ease my fears! I cant remember their names, BUT THANKS TO ALL 3 OF YOU WHO WORKED ON ME!! I will be recommending this teams office!!!

Negative experience: If I could give negative stars i would. These dentists at this location do not care about their patients. I went in for a broken tooth and they told me it would take too long to help me and to go to walmart and buy superglue. What is the point of being open if you aren’t going to treat patients. I will never go back . Ridiculous Very disappointing.

Negative experience: I once gave a five star but the fact that it takes an hour to get through to make an appointment or to confirm one is absolutely ridiculous!!!. I hate to do it but if they don't fix this me and my kids will be looking for a new dentist

Negative experience: The staff was friendly. Dr was worthless. Treated me like garbage. Email sent to corporate. I will never recommend anyone go there. The worst dentist ever. The standards of care were violated. No hx was reviewed. I was in severe pain when i went in and with in two hours it was multiplied by 10. I am hoping I don't have to go to the emergency room.

Fantastic experience: The staff at the front desk were friendly, inviting and very courteous. The dental hygiene specialist and the dentist were awesome. They explained every step and what was going to happen next. They went over past exams, current exam and set a date before we left for the next session. Very clean facility friendly staff.

Negative experience: The provider caused injury to my cheek while cleaning. He did a subpar job to say the best. The staff was kind, but the dentist was very poor.

Negative experience: The staff was great I went in to have a tooth pulled, as the dentist was pulling it the one broke off next to it, so I had to have the roots removed to. I ended up paying almost 1000.00 for 2 teeth. I do not feel like I should have been charged for the second one since I was not going in to have that pulled

Negative experience: I am actually shocked that this place has anything past a one star review. My kids normally see Dr. Marissa Best (who is amazing btw) but due to time constraints and my schedule, I needed my kids to receive a cleaning asap before they left Clovis for summer. I should have just waited for Dr. Best to have an opening. Familia is dirty, HIPAA violations all over the place due to the lack of patient privacy, and one of my kids didn’t even receive a proper cleaning. They only polished his teeth. They are very unorganized and seem rushed. The dentists looked overwhelmed. Staff was nice enough but I would not recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: I took my father in for an appointment on Monday, and it was hands down the best dental office in town! Britney, the receptionist, helped us with a great attitude and an amazing smile, and she was able to assist us and get us seen right away. She made dealing with the insurance so easy. I’ve been to clinics where they require the patient to speak to the insurance for approval. My father had a wonderful visit and I would definitely recommend this office!

Negative experience: Horrible! All 3 of my kids had appointments today. Called to reschedule since it was snowing and live a hour in a half away from the office and was told couldn't since my kids missed an appointment in august and didn't give a 24 hr notice. Wasn't expecting snow today to not be able to make it

Negative experience: This place is horrible ! I don't understand why they don't verify insurance prior to our appts. 2xs they have wasted my time. I will never step a foot in that place again. Front desk is incompetent!! Front reception called to argue with me. First of all do yr job! I had to call my own insurance to get verification of my insurance for them. She talked to my insurance but still wouldn't check me in and I waited an hr because they called me in early . That place is a joke! I will never recommend any of my family to go there that's for sure!

Negative experience: This was my first time and I felt that the cleaning was way too fast and not thorough. They took x-rays and never discussed them and a panoramic x-way on the way out. I don't know what the point of that was except to charge my insurance. I never saw a dentist nor did one ever check my mouth after the cleaning or to check for oral cancer or any problems. I'm not happy with this service!

Fantastic experience: We are from Albuquerque and my daughters crown broke and left sharp edges, it was hurting her and they helped us with a temporary solution until we can see her dentist! Thank God they squeezed us in! The dentist was patient and his tech too they distracted my 4 yr old so that it wasnt too scary

Then I was scheduled 2 days later for my extractions. I Don't even know the dentist name honestly she, the dentist just left me in the room crying afer she said I had to come up with $6000's CASH to save my front teeth. I'm very thankful for Porsha when I got home I did exactly what she said & I came up with a solution for MY 2 FRONT TEETH!!! THANK YOU PORSHA u literally helped me get my 2 FRONT TEETH FOR CHRISTMAS UR THE BOMB.COM
