Positive experience: Good doctors office that provides me with what I need but the front desk staff often doesn't check the notes in a file before making calls.

Fantastic experience: I recently switched dentists & regular health care to here. Both are amazing. All staff has been super nice to me and cared about my concerns. But the part I really loved was the dentist side. They did what 2 OTHER DENTISTS couldn’t/didn't and I am super happy with my results after years of thinking I couldn’t get any help. I believe her name was Taylor that deep cleaned my gums & took care of me. She was amazing and reassured me the whole time that I was doing good & was okay and gave me breaks (I have extremely bad anxiety, especially at the dentist) they were even able to prescribe me something before coming in for my anxiety too. Never switching again ❤️

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for yrs and I love it. They r always on time, they r very friendly, they take the time to listen to u bc they really care and they r related to u.very well. And it's all the services that r that way not just one dept. So love u all!

Fantastic experience: I really like this practice. My provider, Jennifer Bailey, is friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I am very happy I found her. The office staff is very nice and helpful.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff are caring and professional. Dr Williams, and Dr. Armstrong are perceptive, intelligent, intuitive and caring. I'm not sure anyone could ask for better. The dental clinic is very reasonably priced, well run, and complete with the highest standards of professional care, and equally professional staff. It's also a godsend to have an affordable pharmacy connected to the clinic, also staffed by very caring and capable staff, of which, I am eternally grateful. Kenneth Wilson

Fantastic experience: I took my son here for pediatric bloodwork. It was his first time having his blood drawn, so I was very anxious for both of us. Ms. Kay (I’m not sure of her actual name, but that’s what she referred to herself as), was amazing! She was very friendly and made my son feel so comfortable. He didn’t even flinch. He also loved picking out a little prize afterwards. We chose this place because my dad had bloodwork done here a few weeks ago and recommended. I will now also keep recommending, and most importantly won’t be afraid of bloodwork in the future.

Negative experience: My insurance company booted them for double billing fraud. I'm very mad because I did like the people I saw there. Someone needs to clean the place up cause they have been pulling the same junk as long as they have existed.

Negative experience: Disappointed in service on5/28/2025 my mother received a call from the Cecil office stating that her recent lab work didn't look very good and asked if it was possible for her to be able to come in the same day however she doesn't drive anymore so she said my son won't be able to get me there until tomorrow 5-29-2025 so I get her here today and was 15 minutes late and they said she was too late to see her primary doctor but the last 10 time I brought her here we always had to wait for 20 minutes all the way up to 1 hour and 20 minutes so that shows me that they think that there time is so much more valuable than their patients

Fantastic experience: I always go for bloodwork here. Easy kiosk check in. The phlebotomist is always good , quick and nice. Doesn't hurt and I do not bruise and I bruise easily. People give her a hard time because you have to wait for your appt but she is only one person and does it all. If you have an appointment you will be seen. Too many people in a rush all the time.

Fantastic experience: Love Laine- she is the best and gives you “total care”. Tried many drs, not many took my complaints seriously, but Laine takes the time and gives everything attention you need. Jess her assistant, is also great and has great bedside manner too. The front receptionists are always pleasant too.

Fantastic experience: Every clinic within this place offered me and my family … amazing individual care plans, and they also offer a sliding scale pay plan for anyone whose insurance does not cover their visits! Where else can you find both?!

Negative experience: I had an appt for a pediatric blood draw for 12:30pm and when we arrived there was a sign on the door saying "closed for meeting 12-2" Why allow me to pick that time slot if the services weren't available? Totally disorganized and frustrating.

Negative experience: Very nice office. All the hygienists, dentists, and staff are very friendly and make sure your visit is a pleasant experience.......(even for going to the dentist) Amended ....West Cecil has chosen dollars over patient care. You find someone you like and their management decides to not accept your dental plan and just sends a garbage form letter. I am recommending all of my family members and friends not to support this place.

Fantastic experience: New patient here and have had great experience. Staff are welcoming and helpful and knowledgeable. Learning there are more services available here that not offered at most other facilities, a big plus in today's busy world.

We visited Dental office at WCHC and all women are wonderful caring professionals, very personal care and advise by dr.Stefanie Adkins, all dental assistants , Tina , Jen , Holly and and all girls at front desk ( sorry don’t remember names ) , all helping and caring . Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at this facility since it opened. I have nothing but good things to say about everyone who works there. Starting with the front desk, the girls are very professional I've gotten to know several of them personally and enjoy talking to them. I've had a few different doctors since going there and I'm finally with Dr.Williams. She takes her time to listen to my concerns, and gives me her opinions for a plan. Hope this facility is here for as long as I need them. And would encourage anyone who needs a medical facility for their self or family member to contact them.

Fantastic experience: The staff at WCHC is always professional and friendly. Laine is an excellent doctor. She listens and understand her patients. She guides me to have better health but shows compassion. The community is fortunate to have a top notch facility.

Negative experience: My husband and I go to West Cecil health center and have done so since they started in the double wide by the old bank....I have recently switched Drs office my husband is still going to West Cecil....the receptionist there are not polite and don't assist with anything....when my husband went in this morning to get blood work...the office was flooded with people doing the same thing...you would of thought the staff would of said they were very busy and please come back another day...nope he sat there for 1 hour and 30 minutes and finally walked out....the DRs have no heart and just feels like there taking your money....you all need to do better..it's very frustrating!!!

Fantastic experience: The medical practitioners and staff are unfailingly friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The facility itself is very nice and is always keep spotless. Can't recommend them enough, especially in an area that is usually underserved in regards to healthcare.

Fantastic experience: Having now needed, unfortunately,to require medical assistance on several occasions this year. I have become well aquatinted with the interaction of the various staff of WCHC .It is always a pleasure and peace of mind to be able to reach out to Staff of this organization.

Fantastic experience: Today was a yearly health check up! We discussed my current health and the issues I want to work on for the future. I came prepared for blood work and I was able to get everything done in a reasonable time frame. Thank you for making things easy!

Can't say enough good about the great people at wchc. Tina,Jen, Dr Adkins and the entire staff. All are very professional, polite and friendly. Positive experience: Professional administrative, and doctor gave detailed information about the process of your exam and what to expect… They were very courteous and patient, I also had an individual with me that was in a wheelchair, getting an eye exam, and they were quite credible and Their interaction, however, the only complaint that I have is that the rooms need to be a little bigger In order to comply with those in wheelchairs. But overall, it was a very good experience and I would recommend them for their service.

Fantastic experience: Down home friendly dentist office. The ladies are very welcoming and make you feel relaxed. Just ask and they will make your visit comfortable for your needs. They take the nerves away.

Negative experience: I was a new patient to this place, I had an appointment today and I’ve been waiting for a month to come here just for them to tell me it was “cancelled” all because they had the wrong phone number & information. Unfortunately they couldn’t get me in to see someone and had my appointment rescheduled. Very disappointing & wasted my time. The receptionist tried to make it out as if was my fault & wasn’t very apologetic about it either, it was there doing, do better.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for about 5 years and have never had a bad experience. I'm a truck driver and having Saturday appointments really make this facility perfect for me. They have a friendly caring and attentive staff who are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have a pleasant experience. I'd give them 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at WCHC since the day they opened & I’ve been treated with the utmost respect . The drs & nps there have always listened to me & have always found the best way to help. I will forever be grateful for everyone there.

Negative experience: I was going to be a new patient at West Cecil. I made an appointment a month ago to be seen today. I left work early and made it to my appointment 10 minutes early, just like they told me to on Friday when they called me to confirm my appointment. When I walk in to the office and tell the receptionist I'm here for the appointment, she quickly said"we tried calling you to tell you your appointment was cancelled." I did not get a call or a voice mail about this. So I really don't think they called. She asked if I wanted to schedule another and I said, sure. She then gave me an appointment another month away. I will be sure to let them know 10 minutes before my appointment that I will need to cancel this appointment. Also that receptionist there was not very apologetic or compassionate about having someone leave work early to come to an appointment and find out it's cancelled.

Fantastic experience: Dr. K Hall Chambers makes you feel so comfortable and helping you with your situation she is amazing doctor. I highly recommend her very professional.. She’s a very knowledgeable doctor.

Fantastic experience: I made a mistake on the time for my appointment. West Cecil Health Center went out of their way and got me in within 15 minutes of my arrival. The staff is super courteous and Jessica is great!

Fantastic experience: I am very upset with WCHC! I should of seen a Dr there almost 5mths ago for serious things and I was seeing a Dr there and she left and they put me on a waiting list when I was seeing this other Dr 2times a month then I go from that to nothing!! Now I am down and out and I had worked so hard before to get better now I am back to square one and with someone I don't know. O I finally got in cuz I am having serious problems with my OBGYN and they told me I NEEDED to get back in to those Dr's that I was seeing there and if I have a problem that they would call them. Terrible situation I am in all because WCHC didn't give me a Dr right away when mine left!!! U do not leave someone unattended that is taking several medications and that saw a Dr there twice a month!!!!! 8/29/24 Update I really like Margaret webb .

Fantastic experience: I told my hygienist, Taylor, that I used to be afraid of going to the dentist until she started working on my teeth. She is so gentle but still does a thorough job. The dentists and the staff there are all so friendly and helpful! They make going to the dentist a pleasant experience!

Fantastic experience: I use to prior be with Perryville dental school awful then I tried out when they moved and stopped the students and they are great I have several fillings and they are getting them done fast and appt they have late as 5:30 pm is nice too they are all very friendly the complete team there you don’t have to worry like prior asking to see just the 1 that wasn’t going to put you in pain any of the ones here are great and my fear of going gone and I probably wouldn’t of needed filling if I went regular but the prior Perryville had made me not want to go anymore now only issue is they aren’t excepting new patients and my minor daughter 14 has bone loss from chemo hasn’t been seen in over a year at a dentist because she aged out from the ped and only 14 they stop at 12 seeing kids that one she was with she has had 3 dental surgeries in past and she required every 3 mths after chemo at 3 had blood cancer the ped covered the 2 visit no cost to me that ins wouldn’t medically necessary do and now I can’t get a appt that she a patient that has to be put to sleep if a filling and needs a dentist that will give the time to work with her and I know this be a great place to help her fear maybe even get her to do a filling it really be nice if her oncologist could get my child in some how without a dental surgery for a cavity at Hopkins but if you aren’t seeing a person at west Cecil ow even if openings you can’t get in

Fantastic experience: I’m happy with my experience with Kaye Chambers. Thoughtful, Caring, and listened to all my concerns. She helped me understand all my medical issues and didn’t rush me. I’m glad to have her as my medical professional as I’m not always comfortable in medical offices. The staff is also helpful and professional and I feel like I’m in good hands. The rest of my family see doctors here and everyone is happy with the care they receive.

Fantastic experience: I was a little nervous starting all over again, we had just moved back to the area, but everyone in the office from the front desk agents, to my new PA Amy W., and even the young lady who took care of me in the pharmacy- the care was excellent by all. I was so relieved. It's also a beautiful facility.

Positive experience: The dental clinic at West Cecil is the best! From reception to the dentist, each one goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The only downside would be the lack of another full time dentist to accommodate patients being seen in a timely manner.

Fantastic experience: Everyone there is great. My providers are all amazing. I recommend them to everyone. I will go there for as long as I live here. For real. There are some awesome people there. And I say that as someone who started going there in 2018, when there were some people there who were not great at all. Since then they have hired some really great people, and they have put tangible effort into being inclusive and as safe as possible for LGBTQIA+ people like myself. It's like night and day from 2018 to now.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Beacon Health in Havre de Grace MD and had an exceptional experience. Dr. Lynda and her staff were absolutely fantastic. They made me feel incredibly comfortable from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere was welcoming and there was no pressure at all during my visit. Dr. Lynda is very easy to talk to, taking the time to listen and address all my concerns. I highly recommend this health center for anyone looking for a professional yet comfortable healthcare experience. Five stars!

Negative experience: Mobile .. unit … I cannot understand if this is a mobile unit .. why do I need to make an appointment for a quick visit .. Staff does not communicate very well with patient as myself , such as appointments or follow ups . Does not make , an attempt to state their name when phone is answered at office when returning their calls . I’ve always had to ask them their name . When a text to remind an appointment, I was unable to confirm said appointment through their text sent. Their voicemail to me is too confusing and complicated. Staff is unaware of directors name. (As I asked). That my appointment was made prior to Patients/ clients should be informed help with preparation / changes of staff leaving notify patient prior to and before when first appointment with nurse practitioner is leaving . ( Some clients need extra time to help cope with said sudden changes. ) as myself Regardless if you make a connection with them or not. (ZOOM ) Should not be a standard or formal Communication psychiatric appointment for ( first time appointments .) In my case ( as a psych patient ), I was not informed appointment was an intake appointment would be more then an1 1/12 hour appointment … As well as a questionnaire for appointment with psych nurse practitioner And notified day of with this staff …..was leaving WCHC . As with my case I had no other choice to stay due to the circumstances of which I was there for. Please in the future remind such patients as myself (psychiatric ) prior to appointments , that first time appointments required to a lengthy questionnaire, followed by an informal (ZOOM) by an intake personnel then the nurse practitioner asked more questions. Such said appointment was too long. Please make sure that your WCHC staff are aware that your laptop / tablet communication devices are fully charged or at least it is 50% charged , before appointments. This caused undue stress and anxiety. As the equipment lost power due to being 30% charged.. Sincerely, LP

Fantastic experience: Dr. Armstrong is a fantastic doctor. She is a very caring and kind person. I have been going to West Cecil Health Center since 2018. Everyone there is welcoming, kind, and very helpful.

Negative experience: West Cecil medical has fallen below down to a scary level of care. I have been a loyal patient since the beginning when they were in a double wide trailer across the street. I have been with them and tried to be understanding through the years! The service is horrible, the tables are worse. They need new medical staff, and they need better manners in treating us the patients. It has all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I will never return to West Cecil ever again and warn other patients, beware, becareful.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my family to WCHC since they opened. We currently see Dr. Williams, and we love her! She is warm, caring, and knowledgable. She doesn’t rush you, and she answers all of your questions. You can also write to her on the portal, in between appointments. I am glad there is a pharmacy there as well. It is only a mile from my home, a very convenient location.

Positive experience: I prefer face to face appointments. Not a fan of telehealth but it is what it is and it works as it should. All issues cannot be solved this way though. Another gift from covid. My last visit this Saturday was in person and I was able to get started in the right direction. Where else are you able to see someone on a Saturday. Urgent Care , but they know nothing about me usually and want to send you to the hospital usually. No thanks

Fantastic experience: I have lived in West Virginia for the past 3 years and Gemma Armstrong has provided me with excellent medical care through tele-health contacts. Today I had my yearly physical at WCHC in Conowingo. I was greeted by the receptionist promptly and in a friendly manner. I was taken back to the room in a timely fashion and was treated by a caring nurse. Not long after she left Gemma came in and completed the exam in professional and respectful manner. I continue to be pleased with all of the WCHC employees.

Negative experience: Was trying to become a new patient of the conowingo location and I’ve decided for havre de Grace branch to help me due to how awful it went. I finally made an appointment but had no idea I had to change my primary so I figured that out when they were checking me in so I can say that’s my fault so after waiting and driving to the branch I had to cancel my appointment. But when I was on the phone with them asking about their mental health support for therapy the lady was NOT helpful at all she asked which form of therapy I’d prefer and I said talk therapy first and she said “ Well the waitlist is pretty long sooooo.” And that was it. I tried to get on the waitlist was told no and when I said I guess I’ll try the other therapy they were reluctant since that wasn’t my first choice. I told her have a great day I’ll go elsewhere THEN she had the audacity to ask what insurance I had. 0/10 stars if I could for just this branch!

Fantastic experience: I sincerely recommend WCHC to anyone whom has needed deep self care!! I waited 4yrs… I’m extremely so appreciative of the care I’ve received!!! Vision, Dental and Family Health Care have opened door’s moving me in such a comfortable direction that I seriously needed!!!!! These are extremely above and beyond care team whose communication and care you really will not find ANYWHERE ELSE !!! At my age, I’ve been through a few and surely WCHC should be your first and utmost choice ❤️

However the physicians side of the building is the total opposite. No one answers the phone and when I leave a voicemail message they never return your call.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mozella Williams is a very caring professional medical doctor … she is the best MD i have ever met…. She was able to do a cortisone shot for my mom knee saving us a visit to an orthopedic …Alsothe whole team were very friendly & cooperative ….they do really care… I would recommend them for medical needs & health care….

Fantastic experience: West Cecil is a breath of fresh air for me. I've never felt so cared for. All of my medical issues have been addressed with the utmost care and urgency! That wasn't something I found before coming to West Cecil. I am full of gratitude for the team of professionals at WC who have helped me live a healthier life.

Negative experience: The front administrative staff is unprofessional at times and or not in tuned with the community that they serve. So, dealing with the excellent Dr's to front desk and or appointment setters can sometimes rub you all the way wrong! Also, trying to set an appointment yesterday and Ms. C I will call her puts me on hold for 10 minutes because she had not received a signed form that acknowledges the new requirement for a credit card to be put on file by me. They are so hard pressed for a credit card on file but would not proceed with taking it so that I could set an appointment with my provider. Ms. C never returning to give me a heads with a hey, sorry still researching, etc. anything... I had to hang up and call back and the common knowledge that I was beyond irritated her tone and delivery of service changed. Terrible!

Fantastic experience: I love WCHC. Whenever I call they always get me in right away to be seen. I have seen Sharon Taylor and Tori Ann and both are very honest , professional and they listen. !! But all the providers there are awesome ! As well as the check in , medical assistants and desk staff !

Fantastic experience: My son was able to finally feel comfortable enough with his therapist Linda to open up & be able to obtain the correct medication & diagnosis after going to to another place who stuck him on meds that counteracted each other & were unsafe for him . Fantastic experience: Was able to get an emergency appointment within hours of my call. Staff was friendly, courteous, and caring. Provided great treatment, thorough in explaining the treatment plan, and listened to my concerns.

Negative experience: If you are making an appointment for labcorp at this location do not do so between 1-2pm. It will allow you to make an appointment but this is when they take lunch and you will have to sit and wait. I had an appointment at 1pm and they told me that although I had an appointment I had to wait. I just left. Don’t do what I did

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at West Cecil Health Center since I moved to Maryland in 2014. Their Employees are always professional and caring. Margaret is absolutely amazing! I know how busy they all are at WCHC but she somehow always makes time. I am very glad that she is a member of the WCHC Team, we are all lucky to have her! I am very happy with the care I receive at WCHC and I would, and have, recommend them for all aspects of healthcare!

Fantastic experience: The doctors and staff are great. I called on Christmas Day after my family and I, felt ill, took Covid-19 tests and found out we were all positive !! Someone got back to me within a half hour. Prescription sent by 6AM December 26.

Fantastic experience: highly recommend!!! everyone i've seen so far has been incredible & helpful. they make going to the dr not a terrible experience. I know labcorp isn't technically with them but even they are amazing lol

Fantastic experience: WCHC is the best medical practice I've ever used. They take their time and really listen, and genuinely care about their patients. I always feel treated like an individual and not a number, my calls are always returned promptly, I'm never rushed through an appointment and everyone in the office is so kind and polite. They also do a lot for the community. Great place for general well-being or to help cope with specific illnesses. If you've been disappointed in your healthcare team, give them a try.

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the Dental Department is very caring and really listen and take care of you. Fantastic experience: I love West Cecil's dental. I have seen Dr. Davis many times over the years since 2016 back when she was at perryville, and she's absolutely my favorite dentist ever, hands down! She always does a great job on me, she's the nicest, most caring dentist I've ever had and all the staff there over the years have always been just as great. I was upset when I had to go to other dentists when West Cecil stopped accepting patients if you hadn't been there for something routine non emergency in 3 years. I disliked the 2 other places I had to go to in that time and had something simple done wrong which made me miss Dr. Davis even more. I had a emergency recently and West Cecil was able to get me in on a emergency appt only (not as a regular patient) and I got to see my favorite dentist Dr. Davis again and she did excellent work on my filling as always. I can't wait until West Cecil starts seeing new patients again so I can get Dr. Davis as my primary dentist. Anyone looking for a new dentist that does excellent work and you want to always be comfortable, no pain during procedures, and have someone who is amazing and cares, then go see her(right now you can only get in there for emergencies though)

Fantastic experience: My son had his yearly physical today right after my own appointment, and as always everything went smoothly for both of us. WCHC will ALWAYS be the best place for me to be treated. Staff is excellent and the place is clean. You can do many things all in one place and leave with a smile. My providers are awesome and they listen to my concerns and I feel like a valued patient.

Fantastic experience: I moved to the area and found west Cecil health in my provider list as close and highly recommended; they have not disappointed. All of the care I have received thus far has been top notch. The providers care for their patients and really listen to what they have to say.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the doctor's office! The doctor's are thorough and they listen to your needs. The staff is incredible and has always made my daughter feel comfortable and loved. Most kids cringe when they know they have to go to the doctors....but not my little girl!! I highly recommend this place. 10 out of 10!!

Fantastic experience: I visited WCHC today for respiratory congestion. Everyone from check in, to the nurse, to those who swabbed me for covid and the flu were great. Then I was seen by Dr. Nelson and she was great. I highly recommend WCHC, Dr. Nelson, the staff and Cecil Pharmacy.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with Dr. Davis and her team of ladies that assist her. So pleased with the dental work and dental experience with this office. They make you feel so comfortable, never a wait, scheduling to fit your schedule, always explain everything and walk you through what to expect, the patience, efficiency, and care exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this office for all your dental needs with a very efficient and caring team.
