Fantastic experience: Our experience yesterday was awful. A 2:45 appt for cleaning got us out of there at 4:30, other patients were seen before us that arrived after us. My son missed hours from school when we could have waited til after school for this since we left after school hours. Our time is valuable just like yours. In my opinion u have too many patients that are not being treated adequately nor promptly. The person who called my son bk to the room was laughing Abt his name and very unprofessional. The only good I saw there were the two receptionists at the front desk who were very professional and understood my frustration. I'd like Casey to contact me please.

Fantastic experience: At first my oldest was terrified to go to the dentist. At Paris Children’s Denistry they have made plenty of accommodations to make sure my oldest and my other 2 babies feel safe, loved, and come out with a brighter smile. I love them. We’ve been seeing Dr. Shaneka Scott for 9 years now. We love her.

Negative experience: A 2.5 wait time no matter the work being done is entirely too long. The front desk ppl were nice and very helpful but idk what goes on in the back. I dread taking my kids to appts here. The staff changes too much, no coordination, over booked etc. Please call a staff meeting about this matter but this is very annoying.

Fantastic experience: Great staff always friendly and do very good work with all my kids. However since most school districts are going to the 4 day a week schedule and having Fridays off I would highly suggest switching Fridays with Mondays. Allowing parents to be able to take their kids to the dentist on a day the kids aren’t in school.

Fantastic experience: It's almost like family, there. My children feel very welcomed and can have a little fun waiting in the floor game area. Shanika and her staff are knowledgeable, honest, helpful, keep the facility very clean, organized, and actually show my babies they are heard and cared for. I have 4 and they remember the little things about them. My youngest's lips were SO dry and one of the ladies just gave him some petroleum jelly while he was watching some toons. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had an issue with the man that scheduled my children appointments but other than that it’s never a bad experience the staff is friendly very observant when it comes to ALL THE KIDS that comes in their office. The patience for the kids are amazing. Shaneka Scott the best very knowledgeable and will let you kno what’s best. As long as I live in Paris this is where my children will go NO QUESTIONS ASKED.!!

Negative experience: The time that you have to wait is ridiculous. I will never understand why appointments have to always be stacked and can never be seen in a timely manner. I have an appointment and get there and have to wait an hr just in the waiting for before being seen. When the assistant does the cleaning still have to wait to see the doctor. I had to leave and go to work assuming that 2 hours would be ample enough time for just a regular routine cleaning. You can see an abundant amount of patients in one day then the scheduling needs to be realigned. There’s no way we all have the same appointment time for more than 4 patients to be sitting in the waiting area.

Positive experience: The front desk ladies were very helpful and everything was fine except for the hour long wait.

Fantastic experience: Incredible environment! Incredible staff so engaged with my 3 year old. There were no long waits. The experience was nothing I have ever seen. My 3 year old enjoyed the tvs mounted to ceiling, the colorful dental chairs, the staff making each step fun.

Negative experience: I have been calling once a week for 6 weeks trying to receive a refund that is owed to me I have got excuses and apologies but no refund. I would think that taking care of something like this especially with how much time has passed would be somewhat of a priority to your business. I’ve already found my kids another dentist just based on how unimportant I have been made to feel over these past six weeks.

Fantastic experience: My two boys get there teeth done there ..everytime we go the staff is polite..one question i wanted to ask do you guys see adults? Asking for myself ..I have united health care and I really need my teeth replaced

Fantastic experience: My husband brought our two children to Dr. Scott yesterday afternoon! He said they had a great experience and that the office staff is very nice. Dr. Scott even called to explain the treatment plan to me since I was at my own doctor visit yesterday. We are glad to have found a great dentist!

Negative experience: Am not going back there. Went in for a cleaning, but the dr just looked at his teeth a little bit and said they were good, and she painted one tooth. Which I wonder what that was that was put in his mouth?! Nothing was told to me what it was or nothing! And I was never told we were done, I had to ask and see if we done or what. And then I get to the counter thinking I’d need to check out or something, and I stood there and then someone finally asked if I needed something and I had to ask if I needed to check out or what? And they told me no, you can go. There’s no communication. We have insurance and then we get a $202 bill just for supposedly consultation to the caregiver!

Fantastic experience: Good love doctor scott she kno wat to do wit the kids the staff was good love everything about it

Negative experience: Too many appointments booked at the same time. Waited 2 hours to be seen for a 12:30pm appointment. The small Waiting room was full/overflowing. Some people were coughing and obviously not feeling well. As a result my granddaughter and I both wound up with a sinus infection. Not ok to over book. When we left there was only 1 patient left, and they were finished with their appointment as well. It was obvious they booked that way to get it all done early and get off work asap. It honestly felt like we were cattle at the auction. Very dissatisfied and angry. Will be looking for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: The dentist was extremely nice and very personable! We drove from Sulphur Springs (45 minutes) and it was so worth it.

Negative experience: Update on my review. Dr Scott fixed the problem and now let me sit with my children. She is absolutely an amazing doctor. Unfortunately we will be looking for a new Dentist. Dr Scott is amazing but the lack of communication is just to much for me. I have tried for 3 days to get a hold of her office and the people that answer her phones have pissed me off to the point I'm leaving. Thank you Dr Scott for everything you did for my babies. If you chamge your communication system some day we will come back. You really are the best b7t I just can deal with the lack of being able to get a hold of your office in a very important situation. I dislike that special needs children's treatments are not adjusted to there disabilities. Today I had to get my sons tooth filled. I was finally allowed to go back while they got him numb but then was made to leave. If this would not have been bothering him I would have just left. But they would not let me stay with my son whom has many medical situations but is autistic and is now VERY angry because I "left him Why he was scared" I do not agree that treatments are done in a closed room and as a parent I am not allowed to be by child's side. He was NOT put to sleep and this was NOT a sterile environment that was needed. It's been a very rough evening so far. Next my sons medical explanation was done by the front door where EVERY tom dick and Harry could hear. But when I had a problem with there office NOT allowing me to be with my special needs child, they were quick to pull me into a private room? What's the absolute worst part of all of this is I actually REALLY loved these Doctors and this facility. I had finally thought we found a place that was going to be a great fit for my special needs kids. So just a heads up. If your kids fear the dentist or have any special needs I would I guess recommend finding a new place. Heart breaking I know!

Negative experience: Staff does not really try to engage with the kids/patients nor with the parents. They should be explaining to the kids what they are doing. Also staff did not tell us when they were done, I had to ask if we were good to go and left without a goodbye or anything.

Negative experience: I called on 3/25/25 and asked if my daughter insurance was clear since she had appointment in October and she could continue her appointment on 26th. Staff verified insurance was good and she could continue appt. And it would be covered by insurance. I drive a hour to her appointment and to be told insurance did not clear she had an appointment in October. Waste of day and time out of work and school. For something I called to verify before hand.

Fantastic experience: Had my 3 year old and my 12 year old in for their first visits today. It went so smooth, all the staff were pleasantly polite. They were so personable with the kids. I was so happy with our visit.

Fantastic experience: The wait is a bit long but they are super friendly with kids and super patient with little ones and they have the best staff ever

Positive experience: Cons first: 1. The front desk could be a little more friendly. They did not have any option for doing a medical history except the text/portal link that kept refreshing and deleting on my phone. They told me if i couldn't fill it out, they could resend the link (which doesn't fix the issue with phone refreshing and deleting) or reschedule us. Thankfully, it worked, and we were able to be seen. 2. My main complaint is the use of latex gloves. I am severely allergic & had no warning that latex gloves were being used in the facility, which is shocking! I'm an RN, and they typically aren't used in hospitals, clinics, or medical facilities anymore because of the risk of latex allergy. Nitrile, vinyl, or silicone are the most common. My kids have been to 4 dentists over the years with moving around and a dental surgery center, and we have never come across latex gloves. If latex gloves are used in medical settings, there are typically signs indicating the use of latex gloves. I also ask if balloons or latex are used when making appointments. If so, then I do not schedule the appointment because of how severe my allergy is. Either I did not ask (unlikely, but possible), or I was told no latex balloons and the gloves were forgotten about. Each exposure to latex increases the risk of a reaction. It's the only allergen that cannot be desensitized through allergy therapy. My allergy used to be contact only, until one day when it wasn't. I'm thankful that I did not go into anaphylaxis this time, and I am questioning if I will continue to use this location because of the risk of anaphylaxis for me. Anyway, on to the positives... PROS: 1. Dr. Scott was great with my kids and very personable. She explained things to my kids in a way they understood and were comfortable with. My kids have severe dental anxiety, with one being on the spectrum. Both of my kids allowed a full dental cleaning and x-rays. I know it was because of the star and treatment they received. 2. When I realized they were using latex gloves (prior to the cleaning), I explained my allergy. They moved us to a semi private room. There were latex gloves in the drawer, but they used nitrile on my kids after that. 3. My kids required more time to get comfortable, and the staff didn't kick us out after our appointment time (that has happened before to us). Everyone was patient with them, explained everything in a way they understood, and let them relax before doing anything to them. My child on the spectrum allowed them to do a complete dental cleaning while conscious without nitrous oxide. I'm giving 3 stars because I'm 50/50 on this.

Negative experience: We won’t be coming here again. No one greeted us even when I walked right up to the counter to check in. Instead, from behind the counter and without looking up, one of the ladies told us to check in on the computer (both of which were filthy). The waiting area was also dirty and we ended up waiting there for 30 minutes. Then they proceeded to weigh, measure, and take the blood pressure of all three of my kids (at the dentist???) We waited another 30 minutes in the back before anyone would see any of my kids. The assistants in the back gossiped and talked about how they wish the day would just be over already… all in front of my kids and the others they were tending to. Also, all of the patients are being seen in one big room, which makes it hectic and also loud. My kids had been seen by a dentist within the past year, so I asked for no unnecessary x-rays to be taken. They did a basic cleaning, then the dentist pulled me aside and told me she couldn’t do an exam without x-rays. Okay. The one star is for the assistants who were kind to my children (and also, Google doesn’t allow zero stars). I wasted 1.5 hours and will gladly go back to the Dallas area again when we need a dentist from now on.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this place. They seem to be more worried about getting paid then providing a good experience for the kids and parents. They are rough during purcedures and have a policy that you can't be in the room with your child while they are having work done. Just save yourself the trouble and take your child elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had an appt but her and I both enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere. All my questions were answered and everything was explained after Dr Shaneka Scott talked her dentist lango. The first lady asked my daughter if she wanted to watch something else since it was a younger kids show on which she didn’t have to do bc they were pretty busy and then the one who did the cleaning and sealants explained each step to my daughter before she began which we both appreciated. Plus they were all just really nice in general.This was our first time, and I’m not disappointed at all!

Fantastic experience: Visited today with my little ones. Staff were professional and welcoming, the facility was clean and the doc (shaneka) is WONDERFUL with kids! Her smile seemed genuine and I felt that my little ones were safe in her hands.

Positive experience: Staff was great as always. I had a middle of the day appointment for my daughter and never again will I do that. They were over an hour behind. When I need to go back to work we will schedule for the end of the day like I usually do.

This office changed my whole mindset about going to the dentist if I’m being honest. They have immaculate communication with me and there’s never a step I don’t know about or that’s thrown at me without understanding!

Fantastic experience: It was my daughters first time going to this dentist and she absolutely loved it. The assistant Laney that did her x-rays, cleaning, and sealants was amazing. She interacted with my daughter the whole time and answered all of our questions. Dr. Scott was super good with my daughter also. The other assistant in the room Monica, was very nice too. Would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a great experience at the dentist.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Paris Children's Dentistry was amazing I didn't even feel it when my tooth was removed Dental Assistant Elaina Parker and the Dr are amazing as are the rest of there crew highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: My kids always have a great experience here. And I am extremely grateful for my own experience because not only do they now take adult patients, they saved my life. At my first appointment in years, this wonderful group identified my high blood pressure and insisted I head to the emergency room- I took that advice and now have an HBP medication to go along with my pearly whites… I feel better than I have in months!! Thank you, ladies!!

Fantastic experience: Just switched from Smiley Star because the dentist there was rude and upset my daughter. Paris Children's Dentistry was very welcoming and we enjoyed it. They are very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Scott was amazing! She really took her time with my son who struggles with these kinds of appointments and made sure he was comfortable. She also made sure I was fully informed and had all the answered I needed in order decide the best treatment plan.
