Fantastic experience: Asheville Dental; What you hope to find in a Dental Practice! Going to dentists for over 65 years, I didn’t expect to find a practice that would check all my lifelong dentist boxes. Dr. Dasher and the other dentists here have been caring, personable and excellent in the multiple procedures I’ve unfortunately had to do. The office is large, updated, clean and quiet. I never hear drilling, suctions or crying from other patients, lol that’s a plus. The dental assistants are friendly, caring and well trained. The front office/ bookkeeping are friendly, handle quotes and questions quickly, and the pricing is fair. I imagine all dental patients would hope their experience at dental practice would be as smooth and comfortable as could be possible. Well this business is it, they’re the best.

Fantastic experience: I am not a review writer. I don't usually do this, but Dr. Ledford is worth the time. I am a "difficult" patient. I have an anxiety disorder and an assault history that make dental appointments especially difficult for me. Dr. Ledford and his staff have always handled me extremely gently. They are kind and compassionate. Dr. Ledford knows that he needs to get in and out as quickly as possible and he wastes no time. When I've needed sedation, I have felt safe enough in this practice to allow myself to be unconcious. I am empowered by this practice to make decisions about how a procedure will go and I am never, ever shamed for my dental conditions. I cannot recommend Dr. Ledford and his staff highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dasher was incredible. I cannot recommend him enough. I lost my front teeth in an accident. He spent so much time working with my anxiety to match the crowns to my OG teeth. Then, a few years later, one cracked, and he replaced it for free. I am a very anxious and perfectionistic person, especially when it comes to my front teeth. I wish I had thanked him more for double checking them so many times.

Fantastic experience: I had severe toothaches. They were able to get me in to see Dr. Dasher very quickly. Kaylee examined me to find out which teeth were causing the problem. She took X-rays to find out if there were any issues that could be seen. Dr. Dasher went through a very thorough examination. I was treated exceptionally well by all the staff. I felt very comfortable with the results Dr. Dasher gave me. My wife and I have been going to Asheville Dental for many years. If you are looking for a dentist I would highly recommend Asheville Dental. I give them five stars.

My most recent visits have been for a complicated 6 crown procedure . His gentle patient-centered approach created a comfortable atmosphere. He thoroughly and patiently explained each step. Michaela, Dental Assistant, is detail oriented and very competent. She is sensitive to my needs throughout the many procedures she completes. I always feel well cared for when in her hands. Brandy, the dental hygienist is another excellent member of the dental team. She puts me at ease when she expertly cleans my teeth and gives me suggestions for at home care. The front desk is also an integral part of the team. All schedules. payments, and insurance claims are carefully handled. Their friendliness and willingness to help are always evidenced. I appreciate Dr. Powell and the staff at Asheville Dental. 10 star review!!

Positive experience: Let me start by saying I never thought I’d leave a dental office feeling grateful but Asheville Dental changed that. I came in for a re-cementing of a molar crown that had popped off, and not only did they fit me in quickly, they treated me with compassion, professionalism, and ZERO judgment (because let’s be honest, dental stuff can feel a little vulnerable). From the front desk to the dental chair, everyone was kind, efficient, and clearly invested in doing quality work. The dentist took the time to explain everything step by step, which helped ease my nerves and made me feel like a partner in my care, not just another patient. They didn’t try to upsell me or guilt me just got to the root of the issue (pun intended), fixed it flawlessly, and sent me on my way with my smile (and crown!) fully restored. If you’re looking for a dental team that actually cares and makes the whole experience feel easy, Asheville Dental is it. Highly recommend especially if you’re trying to reclaim your dental health and your confidence.

Fantastic experience: Everyone we have encountered at Asheville Dental has been wonderful, supportive, and kind. My son has a lot of dental anxiety and so we came here for the sedation dentistry. All of the procedures went well and he now has a lot less anxiety about the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had an awful infected tooth and needed an emergency extraction- I live out of town - they were able to get me in so quickly! The entire staff was helpful but I have to mention my dentist Andrew Powell - he was so patient and thorough in his explanations and answering all of my concerns. He was able to numb the area - his technique was so gentle, I barely felt it. I had trouble keeping my jaw open and they gave me something to keep the bite open - the tooth came out - it felt like only 5 minutes. Ask for chapstick to help the dry lips :) I’m healing well and he really helped me to feel prepared for the recovery part. I’m so grateful for this place and I highly recommend Asheville dental!

Her expertise shined throughout the entire cleaning. Dr. Powell was friendly, maintained eye contact, addressed all of my questions and concerns and had references and suggestions to follow up with. He even peppered in questions about myself as a person outside of the chair—bonus points for personalization! The desk staff were equally delightful! Pleased to be a patient of Asheville Dental.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit to Asheville Dental today. Very glad I chose this office. They were able to bump me up a month earlier than my initial appointment to get me seen quicker, had great communication prior to my visit to make sure my paperwork was completed and they had my correct insurance information, ensuring that aspect was smooth and easy. Katie, the hygienist I saw, was amazing. I haven't been to the dentist in longer than I care to admit, and she explained everything she was doing and helped ease my anxiety. The dentist was also very informative and friendly, and I will definitely continue to use their practice and refer them to friends.

Fantastic experience: My father got a toothache during our vacation on December 30. We found this clinic, lucky that it was available. We really liked the doctor Andrew Powell. He explained the situation and offered 2 options to solve the problem. We decided to have the tooth extracted. The dentist removed it literally in 5 minutes painlessly. The numb was very good. We were worried that there might be complications as we were not prescribed antibiotics (they said there was no indication), but everything is fine for a week now. Everyone at the clinic is polite, friendly and they were on time. Before we started the procedures, they show us the bill and told us all the prices, they said that x-ray and pulling a tooth will cost 315 $. We really glad to know prices BEFORE the procedures! Thank you for your work!

Fantastic experience: There is a lot to like about Asheville Dental. To begin with, the office staff is friendly and helpful. The dentist and dental assistant talked me through every aspect of the work being done (I was getting a crown and a filling for a cavity). They helped me to feel as relaxed as I could hope for in a dentists office. Also BEFORE any work was done, all of the financials were discussed with me and agreed to. I loved that. I have never had a dentists office do that. I was very positively impressed by this and this practice also helped me feel relaxed and confident in the process. This was my first visit to Asheville Dental. A big thumbs up!

Jennifer is an absolutely outstanding Dental Hygienist! She makes you feel at ease, and tells you everything she is about to do. She is extremely gentle, and before you know it, she’s finished!
