Fantastic experience: Lakeview Dental Care of Cherry Hill has friendly staff and a clean office. My hygienist Nicole gave me the most thorough cleaning I think I have ever had, and Dr. Godil was a pleasant doctor that took his time explaining any concerns he had regarding my teeth. Negative experience: I hope I can give them negative five stars. My wife and I went to the dental clinics for dental cleaning. They did overtreatment on my wife's 10-th and 9-th teeth. The dental filling just fell off a couple of days ago from my wife's teeth. It did not last even for a month. Besides, the dentist is very unprofessional. They will suggest you do dental filling even if the situation is very minor. You will definitely needs dental filling for multiple times once you start it on your tooth until there is not place to do filling work, you end up losing the whole tooth. So the dentist will plant a tooth for you and charged a significant amount. Please think twice if you are going to have dental treatment here. I doubt the service quality and qualifications of the doctors here.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit and I'm so glad I decided to stop in. The Staff were Great. From the Front desk-to the staff who perform your dental service. Everything was explained in detail from beginning to end. And, all my questions were answered. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: This practice is amazing. I was able to book an appointment less than 12 hrs of my appointment time. I came an hour and a half early, due to the excruciating pain I was experiencing. Darla was the first person I met, she greeted me and explained every step of the way. She also went out of her way to try to ease my pain. I was taken back 45 mins earlier than my appt time, which I truly appreciate. Dr. Carlson was very nice and transparent with me, in regards to my tooth. I met a couple of other people but I did not get their name. I felt like the staff was very pleasant and professional . Might I add that they have several locations and that they have Saturday appointments available.I highly recommend Lakeview dental. I had a follow up appt 8/11 First time meeting MD Hoang and Sabrina and all I am saying they were awesome. Can it get any better than this Follow up appt with Ann Liu, DMD was amazing. I believe the assistant name was Kiara. They tackled my needs and now I can smile freely. I felt so comfortable and I voiced my feelings about germs and let me just tell you they were sterile (as they should).

Negative experience: Have come here for many years but today was my last time. I checked in for my 10:30 appointment and the receptionist looked at me like I was an idiot and said your appointment isn’t until 12. I pulled up the reminder text that said 10:30 but she didn’t seem to care and said I needed to come back at 12. No sense in going back to a place that can’t even schedule appointments correctly.

Fantastic experience: I love this place! I know right everyone hates the dentist! Not anymore for me, kind staff, staff is non judgement which is a big fear of mine with dentists in the past. Dr. Liu is gentle and has a comforting approach, got an extraction and felt like I was getting a normal cleaning. Felt no pain. Glad I found this dentist and staff!

Negative experience: I took my 5 years old a month ago to this place. In their website, they claim they do adult as well as pediatric dental care. They did nothing. They didn't even clean his teeth. They tried to take x-rays, but they don't have the know-how to deal with kids. Even their dentist showed up for a couple of minutes, couldn't do anything. I was shocked to see a bill of $140 charged to my insurance. Worse, they charged more than what the insurance can pay. I had to pay some out of pocket. This never happens, to me before, for routine cleaning. If you can't treat kids, do not take kids. I should not have been charged for my visit, because nothing was done. If I go to any professional, and he does nothing. He is not getting and should not be paid. Moreover, they can't stop texting about setting more appointments for my son. They use a company in NY (called Smilist) to take payments, which charges a huge percentage if you pay with any credit card card (I paid with my Insurance CC and they still charge extra fees). This place is money hungry. Stay away. One of the worst I've seen around in south Jersey.

Negative experience: I called to schedule an appointment with Lakeview dental for a routine cleaning because the reviews were great. I called to confirm if they take my insurance they confirmed that they do. I drove 30 mins for a 8:30am appointment on a Sat for them to tell me they don’t take my insurance. I’m sure the dentist there are great, but the person that work the front desk/scheduling screwed me big time. If you are schedule an appointment with them double and triple check with other staff so your time is not wasted.

Negative experience: went there a while ago for a cleaning and when i left they were talking about how i needed multiple extractions and a root canal. i’m 25. went to get a second opinion and none of this was mentioned. and when i told them all my dental work has been done in mexico they acted like because it is mexican it must be bad… also, they told me i needed a root canal on one molar, yet failed to mention that there is another molar that is a lot more damaged than the one they said needed the root canal.

Fantastic experience: I just had a tooth fixed and temporary crown placed tonight. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the team I had. From check in, to check out and everyone in between were A+++. The dentist is probably my least favorite place on earth, but all the ladies I had tonight put me at ease, made sure I felt no pain, and kept me entertained during the process. Fantastic experience: Dr. Carlson has extensive knowledge lab procures and the inner workings of dental apparatus processing. He fit me for a partial plate that fit perfectly after he whittled it down to perfection! He is pleasant and encouraging. I found him and his staff to be engaging, throughly professional, and extremely helpful.

I had an exceptional hygienist named Megan who was/gave the most thorough cleaning that I’ve ever experienced. She explained things to me, was kind and patient. I then saw Dr. Lee who was just as friendly and knowledgeable. I highly would recommend both Megan and Dr. Lee.

Fantastic experience: really great dentists and staff. i have a major fear of dentists, had been in pain with an infection for a bit of time. finally went to lakeview and i kid you not- within an hour the tooth in question was being pulled out with plans to fix the rest of what i have going on. dr. carlsen was courteous, professional, highly knowledgeable and was even able to make me laugh. office is clean, they seem to have top of the line equipment and the doc even put my x-rays up in front of my to explain what specific issues i have. their in office savings plan is excellent if you do not have dental insurance- saved myself almost $200 just by signing up- and then all my my future work is now 30% off. if you have a fear of dentists come check them out, they do a great job making patients feel comfortable

Fantastic experience: i have no complaints! the place is clean and welcoming! from the receptionists to the assistant to the dentists. i didnt feel judged or like they just wanted me out of their chair! very informative and super passionate with the work! i thank the staff of Lakeview for making my visit worth while! 10/10 recommend!

Negative experience: BE AWARE: I made a dental cleaning appointment with this office back in Dec 2024. I have dental insurance that provides two free cleanings per year. However, I received an invoice from this clinic. Total charge: $591. My balance: $231. I called them, explaining that I shouldn’t have been billed, but they said my insurance covered some of it, and I was responsible for the rest. I asked, “Do you charge $591 for cleaning?” Their answer: “Yes. Every office charges different amounts.” I then called my insurance company, and they said, “This office is in-network and agreed on $197. Your insurance paid all of it, so you shouldn’t have received a bill.” I called the clinic again. After putting me on hold, they said my insurance covered the cleaning but that I was responsible for the x-ray and exam. My new balance: $150. I told them, “I only made a cleaning appointment and did not ask for an x-ray or exam.” Their response: “We do x-rays and exams for new patients and made you aware of it.” However, I was not informed of this, and I only wanted a cleaning. At first, they sent me a $231 bill. After I called my insurance and followed up, they lowered it to $150. However, the actual insurance invoice showed: Comprehensive Oral Exam: Submitted: $163 Contract Allowance $49 Plan Allowance: $49 Plan Coins: 100% Plan Pays: $49 PATIENT PAYS: $0 IntraOral: Submitted: $244 Contract Allowance: $81 Plan Allowance: $81 Plan Coins: 100% Plan Pays: $81 PATIENT PAYS: $0 Prophylax: Submitted: $184 Contract Allowance: $67 Plan Allowance: $67 Plan Coins: 100% Plan Pays: $67 PATIENT PAYS: $0 Total: $591 Contract Allowance: $197 Plan Allowance: $197 Plan Pays: $197 PATIENT PAYS: $0 So my insurance was correct when I first called them. They covered the cleaning, x-ray, and exam. I should not have received a bill. I have never experienced this issue with other dental offices. Here’s what I will do: 1. I won’t call them again. They have already wasted too much of my time. I already provided my initials before they removed my review. 2. If they send this to collections, I will file complaints with the State Dental Board and BBB with all the invoices from my insurance and the clinic. 3. I will not return to this office and will share my experience with others. Stay cautious if you want to avoid unnecessary charges and wasted time. PS: I ll keep submitting this review until it becomes public and they fix the problem and stop mailing / emailing / texting me the bill

Fantastic experience: The dentist can be a scary place, not Lakeview Dental. The moment you walk through the door the front desk employees Asia,Victoria and Anna always greet you with a warm welcome. These girls are amazing and I always feel so happy when I arrive and leave. I originally found Lakeview Dental because I had a tooth emergency. My last dentist was closed on the weekends. It’s not just the front desk that is amazing, it’s also the staff and doctors. I admit that I don’t love going to the dentist. However, since becoming a patient there in the last year, my experience has been nothing less of exceptional. Dr. Carlson and Claudia are an amazing team and have made me feel more comfortable and confident after every visit. If you are looking for a dentist office that is full of professionalism , some laughter and dad jokes , come to Lakeview Dental Cherry Hill!!

Fantastic experience: After having bad experience from a dentist near my place, just 1-2 min driving distance I stopped visiting there and recently visited here. I am now very satisfied with their service, not too long waiting time, excellent job (my case, tooth filling), and no request of unnecessary job and charging (in old dental office, at our first visit for cleaning, they forced me and my husband to get deep cleaning although we both had cleaning from previous dental office 5 months ago, and we had to pay for that not free cleaning), which is the main reason why I switched my dentist. So far so good. My husabsnd also plans to visit soon. Just one thing I don't like, they are now charging 3% fee when you pay with credit card.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Carlson (no relation) is incredibly thorough and honest, and his dental assistant has been wonderful. I’m currently getting Invisalign, so I’ve been in a lot lately - the front desk/billing/scheduling are friendly and on top of everything.

Negative experience: Avoid!! Estimates are always inaccurate, billing staff has no idea what they are doing. They do not know how to submit estimates. They leave details out when submitting to insurance and make you think your dental work will be covered when it isn't.

Negative experience: Horrible practice. They provide $0 estimates and then send you hundreds of dollars worth of bills. Really unethical. Feels like I was tricked into getting dental work done thinking it would be covered. Avoid this place.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Lakeview dental care in Cherry Hill enough! I had a bad chipped tooth in the very bottom back left side. Previously, I had gone to Aspen dental to see what they could do and had a horrible experience with them, so I was extremely nervous for what was to come. Dr. Bundy answered all my questions, made me feel completely comfortable and safe and did a fantastic job on my root canal and crown. Today, I had a cleaning from Stacy and she was wonderful, super sweet and extremely gentle with my mouth. She explained everything she was doing the entire time, which I absolutely love. The entire staff is super welcoming, friendly, and non judgmental. I can rest easy knowing I’ve finally found my dentist in this area!

Fantastic experience: I've historically been averse to dental visits, but tooth pain this morning necessitated an online appointment at Lake View Dental. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly and promptly checked in, with Dr. Bundy seeing me at my scheduled appointment time. His unique blend of humor and professionalism quickly put me at ease as he efficiently addressed my tooth concern without requiring anesthesia although he recommended but I asked not to get it. The entire experience was impressively seamless and relaxing, thanks to Dr. Bundy's expertise and his exceptional support staff.

Negative experience: First time there today. I showed up 15 minutes early to complete all new patient paperwork. I wasn't seen until over 40 minutes past my regular appointment time. No apology was made. Cleaning was fast but not very thorough. I have had better dental care at Military clinics.

Negative experience: Update: they try to say that people weren’t patients, but look at the screenshot of their texts. Avoid them. Was really pro Lakeview for a while, especially at their previous location in Cherry Hill. I referred multiple people, and loved my hygienist. Unfortunately, I think my hygienist went elsewhere, and I started to see a lot of new faces around, which seems like this might be a stepping stone for better jobs. Here's my bad experience- It was my first appointment with a new hygienist (I can't remember her name), and had an appointment late in the day. Dr. Hill was working that day. The hygienist was gentle and very good. However, she said she was going to get Dr. Hill. I waited 45 minutes in the chair, and flagged down another hygienist (Stella)who asked what I was doing there. I had mentioned that I was waiting for Dr. Hill to do the final check. Apparently my hygienist had left for the day and never told Dr. Hill! He was very apologetic, and said that they would give me a Wawa Giftcard for the inconvenience. I went up to the front desk, and they said only the office manager can dispense the gift cards, so they would let her know and she would mail one to me. I never received the gift card for the inconvenience. The next time, I told my new hygienist the story, and about how I never received the gift card. She came with me to check-out and told them the story and asked. We were told again that the office manager would have to mail one out. So it could be far from the norm, but when someone says "Here's what we will do to make it right" and then doesn't do that, it leaves me looking elsewhere.

Negative experience: BE WARNED: Do you think it's a little strange this place only has three negative reviews? I left a five-star review when I was a new patient. Why? Because I was offered a discount to do so. Ethical? No, but they were nice & it was a good place in 2020. I removed my review on my own after a revolving door of staff and unpleasant experiences. I wasn't comfortable leaving the initial review anyway because it just felt coerced but again, they seemed nice. I have stacks of receipts- probably a bit shy of $20K out of pocket for two implants, crowns, major work etc. Realizing that we were no longer getting the same people twice, we started to look for a new dentist. In the meantime, another dentist came in after a cleaning and completely trashed the work that the other dentist did on a very expensive lengthy crown procedure. I was stunned that she was saying it in front of me but it all had to be redone. The staff acted like they were doing me a favor by not charging me lol. There was no apology for my time. No apology for having to come back for a string of inconvenient appointments. Even still, I took that and stride as mistakes happen. It was an inconvenience but I tried to understand that it was simply an unintentional failed job. So fortunately we found another dentist and had no lapse in care. 2 years after getting implants that cost about as much as a new car, one failed miserably. At least a car would honor a warranty. The supposed warranty? That doesn't exist. I've emailed and called and they have ghosted me for over a month now. I take perfect care of my teeth but it was very telling when my now dentist who has to redo one of the implants was taking pictures with his phone because he had never seen what was done to my mouth. He seemed stunned. Just a very sloppy job that cost a fortune and absolutely no reply when I reached out to get resolution. My guess is that they will reply here saying that I wasn't a patient or that I didn't follow up... At that point, I'll add photos of the stacks of receipts I have. I have every last receipt from my first visit to my last visit. Cleanings four times a year, two implants, multiple fillings, crowns... You name it. Please note that I do not leave negative reviews. It takes an awful lot to make me come to a public forum to leave a negative review. I removed my positive review on my own. As nice as some of them were up at the desk, it was beyond bizarre & uncomfortable to stand there while two of them argued in front of you. However, you have to warn people. This is your hard-earned money being taken. They've had multiple opportunities to speak to me and offer to make this right but they went ghost instead. So this review will stay. If I can say anything positive about this place, it's Nicole the hygienist. She's wonderful. I get my teeth cleaned every 3 months and I always tried to get her but you never got the same dentist. By the end, I really didn't like the dentist who worked on the days Nicole did. Just a terrible bedside manner. We were paying way too much money for what we received when there are so many options out there. As far as all of the good reviews, please know that I was given a discount by someone named Rob in 2020 to leave at 5-star review. I don't even know if that is legal but it is unequivocally true. If you want real reviews, go to Glassdoor and see what the employees present and past have to say about working there. It's far different from what you read here. The Yelp reviews are a little more accurate as well. Again, it was once a good place but please heed this warning. Update: Yeah, you left me a message AFTER I posted this review lol. You ghosted me for over a month. Review stays, thieves. I had an amazing time in Virtua after I swallowed your botched implant (I have a digestive disorder & it wouldn't pass). Loving the stack of medical bills from that too plus cost of new work by a dentist that actually cares.

Fantastic experience: Was my first time visiting lake view dental care and will definitely be back. They had multiple appointment openings- even on weekends. Came in for excruciating tooth pain on a Saturday and was told I needed a root canal. Unfortunately, my tooth did not take to the anesthetic. Dr Peter Hoang was amazing. He started me on an antibiotic and told me to come back so he could complete the root canal. Came back three days later and the procedure went smoothly. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Entire staff was extremely helpful and friendly. As earlier mentioned, will be back for sure!

Fantastic experience: Today, I was at Lakeview Dental for emergency treatment and a plan for follow-up. The entire staff is amazing. This place is so welcoming! Everything gets explained to you with patience. All insurance break downs are too explained. If you are looking for a new place to manage your oral hygiene, this is the place! I endorse this message! Fantastic experience: My experience at Lakeview Dental Cherry Hill yesterday morning was very good. Beth did a great job especially since I wasn't the easiest patient. But I could tell she really takes pride in her work and was genuinely concerned about my comfort. The front desk staff was professional, friendly and able to answer my questions and confirm accurate costs. I am very that glad I made switch to Lakeview Dental Cherry Hill!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place! Everyone is friendly, enjoyable to be around, and also professional. Love that they operate at hours that can accommodate my busy schedule. I don’t foresee going anywhere else.

Negative experience: I’m sure I’ll never return to this dentist which sucks because I live 6 mins away. I went in for two extractions. The overall experience took a little over 2 1/2 hours, of course they took at least 3 or 4 breaks in between (which should have been a sign). The tooth they were working on had a root canal years before but the crown cracked and came off so there was a huge hole in my tooth. They were able to take out half the tooth but the other half didn’t want to extract. They took 4 X-rays (another sign) but still proceeded to work on the tooth even though at this point it has taken hours to come out and seemed to be stuck according to the X-rays. After 2 1/2 hours Dr. Allison Stiegel (not sure of last name) offered to schedule me an appointment in Medford to see a specialist. Before scheduling it she said this had never happened to her before. It had never taking her this long to extract a tooth. She had mentioned earlier that the other tooth would not take as long to get out so before she made the appointment I asked her if they could just take the other tooth out since I’ve been here for hours now and her response was, I kid you not, “I don’t want to cut into my assistants lunch break but you could come at another time”. I could not believe that was the response. So I scheduled another appointment to have the other tooth taken out the following Monday. They sent me to a specialist in Medford, Dr. Fedeli for a same day appointment that was at 2:30pm (Lakeview appt was 10am…I didn’t leave Lakeview until 12:45ish and it was a 30 minute drive in pain) They didn’t give me any type of pain relief before I left. Dr. Fedeli was amazing!!!! I went to his office and had to schedule an appointment with him for the following day because he didn’t feel comfortable putting more anesthesia inside of me. Before leaving he gave me some pain relief until my prescriptions were able to be picked up. I told him the reason the other doctor told me I couldn’t get the other tooth taken out and he was appalled. So he made my appointment for 7am the next morning and took both teeth out. So I will not be returning to Lakeview. Once they saw the X Rays that should have let them know to send me to a specialist. I’m not sure if they were just trying to be greedy or not but it sure seemed like they wanted to complete a process that was impossible so that they would receive the money from the insurance. 2 1/2 hours for one tooth, come on. I don’t want to feel like I’m complaining but the assistant was not very professional. There was music playing in the background and she would be singing the songs as she’s suctioning inside my mouth. Sometimes the suction was be stuck because she wasn’t paying full attention. I was never able to catch her alone to tell her this to her face without the doctor being in their because I didn’t want to put her in blast. It was just not a good overall experience. Let’s face it no one likes the dentist but to be there that long and the process was not completed was very frustrating. In the end, I hope they can do a better job of reading the X-rays and not be money hungry. I didn’t want to write this review but it just didn’t feel right to let this is story go untold. I apologize if this gets anyone in trouble but I or anyone else should not have had to deal with this. The response is hours after I posted this message. It is in response to their response to my original message…….. It seems that they don’t let you respond to their response which is very odd. But the best care was not used when it came to me. There was no reason for your doctor to to take 4 X-rays. Just outrageous. For the fact that they were the experts I didn’t say anything but the comment they offered seemed so dismissive. Don’t believe, check the comment to my original message.

Fantastic experience: Staff was really pleasant. Super clean. I made an emergency appointment Saturday night and was seen Monday. Everything dental from now on will be taken care of by Lakeview dental team.

Fantastic experience: I had a toothache yesterday so I called Lakeview for an appointment. First time there. I googled “Dentist near me”. I was impressed with their website and ratings. They brought me in right away because of the pain. They treated me with such professionalism. I’m a big guy, but a big baby when it comes to Dentists and the support that I received from the staff was amazing. From the help I received from the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist. Even paying the bill didn’t hurt as much because of the service.‍♂️ I only gave five stars because that’s the highest they let me. Now I’ve got to get these dingy teeth, white again. That’s the next step.

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming and professional, They made sure you were comfortable every step of the way. And also very helpful with understanding Payment options And breaking down the cost of the procedure. Which was very well appreciated.

Positive experience: I was able to get an appointment quickly and was taken back quickly. The dentist was great as were the assistant. My tooth was giving a tough time coming out so I affected their schedule a bit. I wish I had the option to be gassed to make it easier for everyone involved but all in all it was an ok experience

Fantastic experience: I needed my daughters tooth cracked and broke apart due to her adult tooth pushing through. Yet it would fall out, it kept cracking crumbled while still in her gum. She needed it fixed in an emergency. She was able to be seen. Her tooth was numbed and her tooth extracted quickly. Their customer service is always good here. Been a client since they first opened. Love the location and their service.

Fantastic experience: The office is clean, the admin staff is kind and supportive. The dental assistant was very caring of my fears and Dr. Carlson was fantastic. I was there for an emergency visit and they took great care of me, my concerns, nerves and of course my mouth. Will definately be using this office again!

Fantastic experience: Very nice staff the office manager went out of her way to greet me and welcome me to the office for my first time visit. She also gave me a card so that I could refer a family member which offered a discount ( for the person who's referred) and gift card for the referral .The doctor was very knowledgeable and pleasant.

Negative experience: I have no idea either who the clinical director was or I met anyone to address the issues, as stated in response to my post by owner. Following is my experience: I took my mother to Lakeview dental care for her dental implant. There are many issues I experienced which keep me away from this place. 1. The staff did not know which dentist does dental implant and we had to wait for 2 months to be told that the dentist did not perform dental implant so we had to be put on the unwanted dentist. 2. The dental implant procedure was done nonsterily in the office. We were not informed that and as a surgeon myself, I had a hard time imaging drilling into bone with nonsterile instruments. The medical assistant was also trying to convince me that normal exam gloves were sterilized. Literature shows that it's not standard care but acceptable at this moment. However, I would not take the risk of infection if I was informed earlier. 3. Dr. Fetters was extremely incompetent. She gave no pre and post procedure instructions but relied on me asking her questions. She called me after the procedure to bring my mother back to the office so she could redo the suture because she reviewed the x-rays and she thought a different technique would be better. She also tried to explain that it was the best time to do it. I told her that the best time was before the procedure not after. She also tried to use catgut suture instead. I told her that my mother was allergic to catgut but she said it was on the chart. I told her it wasn't on the chart because you never asked me and now I had to stop you because I knew she was allergic to it. The suture fell off before the follow up visit even though she did it twice. She got offended when I told her that she was incompetent and dropped my mother as a patient which should be done ethically via written. 4. My mother had an annual plan with the practice. They automatically withdrew money from her bank for the next year without consent or notification. Considering that they call, email and text for every appointment, I do not believe that the notification was just simply missed.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful caring staff and doctor! I'm usually very apprehensive about Dennis especially with me having very sensitive teeth to cold temperatures. However they worked with me and made me very very comfortable I was pleasantly surprised. I would highly recommend them to get dental work done.

Fantastic experience: This location had a lot of available appointments. The facility is very clean. They provided a convenient mobile intake form so that my new patient appointment went smoothly. The front desk patient coordinators were very kind and efficient. My hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth while also being gentle. My dentist walked me through the status of my teeth by showing me all the x-rays. He gave me a consultation without making me feel pressured to do more than what was necessary.

Fantastic experience: Had a dental emergency that was pretty scary. Very professional team, everyone was very caring and attentive. Doctor Patel was incredible, and the whole process was over before I knew it. Highly recommend this establishment for any cleanings or emergency work. Will be returning in the future!
