Negative experience: I received a text message stating that I haven’t made a payment. I immediately call Koch because my daughter has insurance that 100% covered her plan. I was told that everyone was in a meeting and that I would get a call back the next day. When I received a call back, they said that the insurance company has not sent an authorization since 2024 so I have a balance of $2k and that I need to set up a payment plan. ABSOLUTELY NOT! I call the insurance company and they say that it’s something that has not been done on Koch’s end and reading the other bad reviews, they seem to have the same problem frequently. I will not be coming out of pocket for anything due to a mistake caused by your staff not doing their job correctly. So disappointing!

Fantastic experience: So I had my appointment to get my bottom braces in today and the first young lady did not trim my wires short enough so it was getting caught up in my right cheek. I called and they got me right in with a lady named Bonnie who really took the time to take care of the issues and checked all the other wires as well. She also gave me tips on brace care instead of just brushing me off. I appreciate how they were able to get me in to correct the issue and I still made it back to work in time! Thank you! Also I recently went and was attended by Bri and she was absolutely so helpful and informative. She is top notch! I so appreciate the service and welcoming I get at Koch every time I visit. They are the BEST!

Dr. Simon addressed all of my concerns, no matter how minor, even 2 months after I got my brackets off and felt like my front teeth could be a little more even he brought me back in and filed it down for me. Negative experience: I really hate to be give a bad review but I feel like it necessary I called early this morning to talk to someone in the financial part of the orthopedic and I was told by the receptionist lady that the financial lady was going to give me a call later on the day because the lady who works in the financial side was already on the phone with a patient. And I thought I made it clear to the front desk lady when I expressed this was a big deal and I’m looking for an answer. I asked her “when should I be expecting a call back?” she replied to me “sooner than later.” And then I called back in the middle of the day and someone told me the lady in finance was on her lunch break and that she was going to give me a call when she got off her lunch. So I continued my day under the impression that I was eventually going to get a call, and she never called me back. I looked through my missed calls logs to just in case maybe I missed the call and nope I just never received a single callback. Now I’m getting upset that I’ve been lie to because this has been a big deal for me I haven’t gotten my braces checked on or tightened over a year now because, I was out of state I was in Michigan, I’m now experiencing pain in my teeth and swelling in my gums, and I just want help. I feel like the reason why they’ve been neglecting me is because they owe me over 1000$ since I cancelled with them in December in 2023, that was also the last time someone took care of them, Koch Orthopedics told me in December of 2023 that they could work with different orthopedics there but no that wasn’t the case. I went to different orthopedics there and nobody wanted to work over someone’s else job they saw it as liability to their insurance policy. So this whole time I’ve been having braces on yet nobody wants to give me any answers. I’m a busy man I got a lot going on and I don’t got time to check up everyday trying to find out what’s going I need an answer. Koch Orthodontics have made me regret getting braces and this whole experience has horrible, I can’t help but be nice to the employees too and I feel like they just been taking advantage of my niceness too!

Positive experience: Facilities and services are great. My one rant is regarding flexibility. To lose an appointment for being 10-15min (mind you a school day) and rebook you for a month later was disappointing to say the least. Here’s the kicker …regularly expect you to wait 40-45min when you arrive on time is crazy. No apologies just the unspoken expectation of sit tight and wait.

Fantastic experience: I have had a great experience with this team since day one coming in for a consult and leaving with braces in the same day. I was shocked they could get me started so fast! It’s rare to find a clinic where the entire staff is so kind and attentive at EVERY visit. From the front desk all the way to the treatment area it was always a warm and welcoming environment. Dr. Simon and each of the assistants I received over the time of my treatment were always so sweet, caring, and being sure to ask me throughout if everything felt right or was going as I expected. I even connected with one of the assistants, Jaliyah, over time just off of mutual interests and looked forward to catching up with her at my visits. I really appreciate them giving me the opportunity to speak up if I needed instead of doing what they thought was best. I especially loved how the scheduling for treatment was set up since I am a full time student and mom. There is so much I could say but I will end with this, I will always recommend this location to friends and family.
