Positive experience: Only issue I had...and I have this really everywhere...I do not hear well, after I inform the person im interacting with they still do not speak up, makes for a very difficult visit. But like I said I get this everywhere I go-just wish the person could please speak up. Other then that all was great, fast, efficient, and as always with kindness.

Fantastic experience: Stark Family Dental was kind enough to get me in a week earlier than scheduled due to the amount of pain I was in. Isabella the dental hygienist is great! She listens and then shared my issues I was having with Dr. Paulus. Dr. Paulus explained the X-ray and was genuinely concerned about my condition. Dr. Paulus prescribed a medication that took my pain from a 10 down to practically zero. They gave me a referral to another doctor to get my condition corrected. I can’t thank them all enough for their help.

Negative experience: Abandoned me as a patient and refused care in the middle of infection with abscess over an issue of an insurance discrepancy on a completed and paid for procedure from 6 months prior that they decided to bill me more for well after it was agreed upon and paid in full. Completely unethical This after 20 years as a patient who never ever once had a balance unpaid. Update: The most attentive they've been in years was to call me because I left a bad review. They didn't really care that I've had a painful infection with abcess for months, just that I left a negative review. Still have an infection, still in dialy pain. Thanks Painful Paulus! Update #2: Called the insurance company to confirm or fix the issue and it turns out they submitted both the wrong tooth and the wrong dental device to the insurance company trying to get a higher payout. They did this a month after the procedure, giving me no option in purpose. The insurance company informed me they did not submit a predetermination, standard procedure, which would have been almost instant and told them what was covered and what to order... something they already should be aware of also. They also didn't inform me of any of this until they had me trapped with an infection. It is May and I have been denied my appt to treat the infection now for months. Its also a lie that they tried to reschedule after turning away a patient with an infection at the door with an appt already. They have not attempted to resolve this. Unfortunately they're unwillingness to resolve this has forced me to file a complaint with the ohio dental board.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was attentive and friendly. Procedures were explained in detail and all questions were answered to my satisfaction.

Negative experience: Oh I'm sorry they're not taking new patients. That's very un professional.

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to a dentist in over 10 years. Previous bad experiences caused me to just avoid it. I came to a realization that my teeth were severely suffering. When I called, the lady I spoke to was so sweet and non judgmental. Today was my appointment, I thought about cancelling it multiple times but I didn’t. From the moment I sat down in the chair, they were so comforting and patient. Came up with a game plan that I was comfortable with and didn’t judge me when I cried. they are now my go to dentist even if I do have to pay out of pocket.

They can always find time to get you in during an emergency. And the staff is always helpful and friendly. And the dentists are excellent.

Everyone was super nice, and we feel the family plan is a great deal for us since we do not have dental coverage. They make you feel welcome and at home from the moment you arrive. Dr Doherty kept it straight shooter on everything on with my teeth while pulling up all the X-rays to match. Fantastic experience: I had a severe toothache. They were able to get me right in. THe hygienist checked for any exterior issue, food particle stuck, scrap, or burn. Dr Doherty ordered an xray and quickly reported that I had an infection and that I needed to see an root canal specialist. I got in to them the next day and I am on the way to feeling better. Thanks for seeing my quickly and the fast referral to Dr. Winick.

Fantastic experience: I was shocked to have such a quick and seemingly effortless extraction done and be back home in less than hour. I took 400mg of ibuprofen the moment I got home but as the Novocain wore off I was even further shocked to find I was in absolutely no pain! My extraction was done with such skill that there was no damage to my gums or mouth! I’m not sure what kind of sorcery this is but Dr. Doherty is by far the most amazing dentist I’ve ever had! Amazing!

Fantastic experience: It had been 3 years since my last visit to a dentist, and I knew if I wanted to keep my teeth in decent shape, I needed to make an appointment for a check-up. Nobody likes going to the dentist, and I'd been procrastinating for a long time, so I looked on the Internet and found Stark Family Dental. In one visit, these guys made me realize that not all dental practices are the same. Everyone was very friendly and professional, there was no judgement and, for the first time ever, I left the dentist's office not feeling as if I'd just been mugged. I wish I'd found this place years ago!

Fantastic experience: Kind of ashamed to say, but first visit back to a dentist since the pandemic. Dr. Shawn and crew were very welcoming and calmed my nerves because of it not being one of my favorite things to do. Very punctual, no wait time and only took a few short minutes to complete forms in office. Truly was my most pleasant dental visit and I have had many over the years. I have work to get done, but honestly relieved because there is now a plan in place and I am getting back to better dental hygiene. Thank you all for doing such a great job!

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to share with you my experience. I was treated so kindly here, even though I'm a basket case at the dentist. They walked me through every step of the process and I was able to get all the work I needed done in one visit. Not only did I receive exceptional care but the pricing was great. I have really good insurance and it covered everything unlike two other offices I tried that wanted to bill me ridiculous amounts above and beyond what the insurance covered. I can't thank you all enough for your professionalism and desire to make dental care affordable. I have found my permanent dentist, finally! Give them a try you'll see how awesome they are.
