Fantastic experience: Our family has been going to Lakes Dental Care for 25 years. Cassandra Spitzley is the best dentist ever. She is very personable and professional. She explains everything she is doing and is a great person. . Staff is wonderful too!

Fantastic experience: Great people to have dental work done. Professional attitude.

Negative experience: Don’t go here. They incorrectly code things to your insurance, and even after you pay the bill, they don’t apply it to your account. Then they keep telling you that you still owe money when you already paid it. My bill was paid, and they still acted like it wasn’t. Avoid this place. BILLING DEPARTMENT IS TRASH!

He was trying so hard to wait until after the weekend but I could tell it was really bothering him. Dr. Ude offered to come in to the office on a Sunday evening to take care of the tooth. My son was so very happy to be out of pain, he actually had tears of joy! Thank you so much!

Negative experience: First dentist appointment made in years go in there for first time was supposed to get cleaning done they input the wrong DOB so couldn't apply my insurance so they pulled me out mid appointment to figure the problem and like I said they had wrong dat of birth didn't try running my insurance again right didn't get a cleaning done first dentist appointment as an adult and I got treated like a low life and kept being suggested that I had no insurance I got serious dental issues that need to be addressed but this was a huge waste of my time particularly when Im a third shifter and have kids at home and run a busy life probably going to go someplace else if we can get stuff done right and maybe clarify insurance before visit next time prevent hiccups simply told by what seemed like a great dentist the problems I already know I have with my mouth, finally talk about options and treatment plan for me and right before the next lady cleans my mouth whole appointment derailed because they didn't confirm insurance with at the start of the appointment and put in the wrong DOB very humiliating and disappointing and disturbing for me on so many levels particularly when im put in a situation to wonder now what is going on with my insurance is my insurance just an allusionary thing that my work provides for me

Fantastic experience: I needed extensive dental work. They made room for me to get seen for an abcess tooth. Less than a week later it was removed after antibiotics. Remainder work was quick. Friendly and professional staff.

Until I moved to Brainerd and started using Lakes Dental Care for my dental health. Then I realized the difference…. Fantastic experience: As always the BEST dental office in the area!! Sad to see my dentist retire but very happy with my new one.

Negative experience: They made an appointment for us when I told them our insurance which is paid through an employer. They proceeded to call us and cancel the day of appointment and tell us no new Medical Assistance patients. We forgot that we had that as a secondary(because they don't help ever except maybe $15 copay once in awhile) I told them they are prejudiced which should have been obvious at that point.

Fantastic experience: We are relatively new to town. Our children have autism, and one is VERY apprehensive about the dentist. Dr. Lundstrom and her team we exceedingly kind, calm and patient, and we had a lot of “first timer wins” for our little guy. They are indescribably kind, calm and patient and wonderful with children. I look forward to making an appointment for myself!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ude and Jennifer did a great job with a tooth extraction, implant and bone grafting. They made me feel comfortable the entire time and were good about explaining everything and had great bedside manner.

Fantastic experience: Everyone I’ve dealt with since my first phone call has been awesome! Everyone is very helpful and genuine. No being talked down to. No surprise bills afterwards- I was given options and projected prices up front. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I went to Dr. Hennessy for a second opinion on a very costly dental procedure that was recommended to me by another office. He very thoroughly explained the procedure and recommended that I not have it done because he doesn’t recommend removing parts of perfectly healthy teeth. Because of his and his dental assistant’s kind attention to me I am choosing to see him for my continued dental care. So this past year I chipped my front tooth and had fillings periodically throughout the last year. Now I need to have a crown on my front tooth which I did today. The temporary tooth is much whiter than my other teeth and I am not happy about that. I have to live with this for about three weeks until I get my permanent crown. I think for $1,600.00 the tooth would be closer to the color of my other front tooth.

Fantastic experience: Took my 4 year old son into the dentist for his first every cleaning. Shelby was AMAZING! She made my son so comfortable and made it fun for him! She walked him through all her equipment and let him touch the tools so he was surprised or scared. Because of this he told me he LOVES going to the dentist! I really appreciated it! Wonderful place!

Fantastic experience: I went in today with my boyfriend as he got a cavity filled. Dr. Lundstrom was amazing! She was kind and thorough when explaining everything. The hygienist was also awesome. Although I didn’t catch her name. She was kind and helped explain some insurance stuff to us. He is very happy with how his filling turned out.

She was very gentle, never poked my gums and was very thorough. I was not pushed to get extra things done to my teeth that were not necessary which I appreciate alot! I'm excited to go back! Update: Well, I have been coming here for years now and my first review stands! Every hygenist has been great! I have gone to Val the most and her care stands out! She is extremely detailed and focused on keeping you healthy. It's a bonus she is super friendly and will pick up conversation with you where you left off last time. Always a great experience!

Fantastic experience: There are several reasons I love going to Lakes Dental Care Baxter. Everyone there is helpful, kind and professional. I had a procedure that took an hour and a half and it went well. Everything was explained to me before the procedure and at each step during the procedure. That means a lot to me. Post procedure I was instructed on what to expect and all of my questions were answered. The staff were not only friendly, they made me feel valued as a person. LDC-B is the best!

Fantastic experience: The office staff, hygienist and dentist were all welcoming and thorough. My teeth have never felt cleaner. In addition, the dentist explained everything in detail and did not push unnecessary procedures onto me. I do not have dental insurance and they offered me an affordable yearly plan that I was relieved to have as an option.

Fantastic experience: We were able to returned to Lakes Dental after being absent for 13 years due only to insurance coverage. Same friendly folks, our same dentist Dr Olson, same hygienist Mary. It's good to be back where we know we should be. 4/22/25 Returned for a cleaning and crown. More like a visit over coffee than a dentist appointment. Crown work went fast and not anyway near as uncomfortable as some I had in the past. Cleaning was the same. I'm not going anywhere else! June 7 2024 Excellent visit today at Lakes Dental for cleaning & check-up. Caroline, the dental hygienist, was a highlight; so pleasant and professional! May 28 2025 Going through the process of a front- tooth implant can be a long wait. It gets pretty old, especially when you are pulling out and putting in the retainer to eat in restaurants and public places. But with the assistance and support of Lakes Dental staff, the journey was at least more tolerable. Dr. Hennes always answers your questions and you feel like he has compassion for his patients. I really would not consider going to another dental clinic.❤️

They make sure I do not have any pain, they tell me what is happening step-by-step, and are very efficient. I was also very grateful I had purchased the care plan as it took 15% off of my crown. Fantastic experience: I went to lakes dental care to have a filling that had fallen out looked at. I was greeted at the counter by friendly staff that were awaiting my arrival. I was quickly routed to the nearest office and given a detailed description of what I was to expect. The dental hygienist was very friendly and very detailed. The dentist was very thorough and clear in his assessment of my teeth and very thorough in the procedure. I will be returning to lakes dental care with all of my future dental work. Five stars ⭐️

I did go to another business before lakes dental and I almost swore out going all together with how I felt leaving the first business but I gave lakes dental a call and I am extremely happy I did! Every single person there was very kind and informative not to mention it took around 30 minutes to pull four teeth! Wow! As a person with anxiety about the dentist I will recommend them to anyone and everyone !
