Fantastic experience: So pleased to have found this dental practice! I hadn't been to a dentist in a very long time, the staff was accommodating and were able to get me in when I had a broken tooth. I was anticipating a lecture for neglecting my teeth but, that was not the case. Understanding and patience were what I received. Dr. McShane made me feel like an old friend. Thanks for making visiting the dentist a better experience than I'd ever had

Erika has been my dental hygienist all these years, and she is absolutely amazing—thorough, gentle, and always so kind. I recently had a dental implant procedure done with Dr. Bennett and Dr. McAninley, and they were incredible as well. The entire team at Arvada Dental Center is friendly, attentive, and truly committed to patient comfort. They make every visit a pleasant experience. Fantastic experience: I don’t like dentists and I have a healthy distrust of everyone in the medical industry, but I had as good of an experience here as you can have at the dentist. Everyone was kind and welcoming. I never had to wait for anything longer than 15/20 minutes at most. And most important of all they were up front and honest with the cost of everything. Overall it was a great experience. Dr. Mac was excellent and encouraging, and Amanda was very helpful with financing logistics.

Fantastic experience: Let me preface by saying I have a rough history with the dentist, which led to periodontal issues that I am now fixing. This has meant I need to go to the dentist every 4 months and do more treatments to improve my gum health. The only reason my health has improved as vastly as it has is due to Arvada Dental. I have been so grateful for their care, their non-judgmental advice and counseling, and their truly wonderful staff. From fixing an imperfection in my front tooth that had kept me from showing my teeth while smiling since I was a child to greatly improving my dental health, I have been so impacted by their hard work and kindness. Kate, especially, is an exceptionally talented dental hygienist, and the entire staff makes my appointments as painless as possible (both literally and figuratively). I realize this is an overly flowery review, but they have made such a big impact on my confidence, and it means so much to me. So grateful to the whole practice!

Fantastic experience: I will say that they do have your best interests in mind here. I am going to need a lot of future treatment, but my bridge fell out and they did get it back in for me twice and it does look great. I can't even tell it isn't a real tooth, both from a functional and aesthetic standpoint. They are very thorough and are interested in providing a long term, permanent fix, as opposed to temporary fixes where you have to go back again over and over. They are going to be able to fix my teeth to where I will not have worries ever again, it is just going to be a process like anything else. Also, I have allergies, and they are able to work around this with my future treatment, which makes me very happy and relieved that I won't have to worry with that!!! Thanks again, guys!

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for about 10 years and they have really helped my fears after a horrible experience at my prior dentist. They are all so nice and caring and make sure that you get the proper care and are at ease through the process. They do same day crowns which is a God send as it eases the anxiety. No matter which staff member I deal with it's always pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Professional friendly staff, very polite. Everyone treats you like your important. The doctor explains everything to you before he does anything.If your worried about prices; they let you know before they do the work. The doctor is awesome; explaining the process as he goes along. You'll feel really comfortable there. The doctor gave me his cell number in case of an emergency. He even called me later in the evening to make sure I was all right! Who does that? Someone who really cares. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who wants to. Feel appreciated for their business!

Negative experience: I had a few great experiences here but most recently I got a filling and it felt extremely rushed. The dentist was gone for a long time with other patients longer than usual and in general the service felt more rushed than previous fillings. They said to call if anything comes up or if I have any questions. As soon as the numbing wears off I feel a VERY sharp point on my filling that has been causing cuts under my tongue making eating or drinking or talking VERY painful so I have them a call a couple hours later. I think because there was a lot going on they didn’t put as much care into this appointment bc I have never had this issue but it had to be noticeable, it’s a jagged edge very painful. When I called to tell them a couple hours after my apt they tried to schedule me A WEEK away to fix it despite me telling them how painful it was and that it can’t wait. I told the receptionist please talk to the dentist because this is urgent if I can’t eat or talk because of a mistake they made. They never got back to me until 2-3 days later, and now they are still trying to schedule me two weeks after my original appointment time. If you care about your patients and their wellbeing, you should actually listen to them and make more effort to fix something that was caused in your office. If someone says they are in a lot of pain why make them wait 2weeks? Cruel and odd. When I called the receptionist was very dismissive despite me explaining all of this. The receptionists offer you appointments and when you pick a time that works for you they already gave up that time to someone else. As someone who has done scheduling in the medical field for several years, I understand it can be difficult, but don’t offer an appointment if you are not going to hold it. If you care about your patients you need to actually follow up with urgent matters if you are the one who caused it. Now I still have lacerations under my tongue and I still don’t have an appointment because the receptionists repeatedly have not listened to what I have said re scheduling. I am incredibly disappointed in the way this has been handled. Please do better :( Edit: seeing your reply is completely unprofessional. I don’t care what “research” you did and apologizing for a patient’s “perception” of an experience is dismissive and frankly disrespectful and gross. You did not respond to emails or phone calls regarding any of these issues for ages, so I wanted to warn others. It’s embarrassing that you all think this is an appropriate response to this issue. Take the “Dental Emergency? Give us a call!” Off your website if you can’t actually help patients with emergency’s and especially ones that were caused in your office. So beyond disappointing. Think of a professional reply next time, come on.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had such a hard time trying to find a good dentist that is punctual and doesn’t try to upsell you on things. I finally found a good one! I had my first appointment today, and Kate (hygienist) was really awesome! She was very personable and cleaned my teeth really well. She also gave me good advice for helping with my sensitive teeth. Dr. Mc was also really great and quick with checking my teeth. I’ll definitely be coming here again.

I’ve been going here for nearly 15 years and have seen the same hygienist during that time—Erika. She’s fantastic, funny, relatable, and puts my nerves at ease. Negative experience: I had my appointment in January of this year. They tried to cancel my appointment knowing that I do not live in the state due to being a student and that I travel down for my appointment with them. This is not the first time this has happened. We were able to get them to fit us in thankfully. However they did not inform me that my insurance was out of network before they did my scheduled care including three fillings. I was charged $500. When I asked about it they told me that it was normal and did not inform me then that it was due to me being out of network. I am normally on my mother’s insurance but this time they did not charge it that way even though they have before. They have always used my mother’s insurance as primary and mine as secondary. Instead they used mine as primary which they knew was out of network but did not inform me of such. I paid it very confused. I was not aware of this fact until about a month ago when they sent me another bill. When asked about it they finally informed me that it was due to me being out of network and that they could not use my mothers insurance anymore even though I am still covered under it. I should have been informed before they ever started my appointment instead of them never informing me and just expecting me to be able to afford a $500 appointment. I am very disappointed in the way they run their business now after going to them since I was little. I do not suggest this practice. Follow up: I was contacted by Arvada Dental regarding my experience. They apologized and explained what happened. While the damage cannot be undone with how we were treated I do appreciate them reaching out and I hope other people have a different experience than I did.

Fantastic experience: I recently had my third crown done by Dr. McAninley and once again, I’m very happy with both the process and the results. The procedure was smooth and easy, and I was back to eating comfortably as soon as the numbing wore off. You can tell that crowns are second nature to Dr. Mac—she’s confident, skilled, and efficient. I’ll definitely continue seeing her for all my dental care. I also really appreciate that Arvada Dental uses top-of-the-line technology and materials—it makes a big difference.

Negative experience: Can't prove it since they've failed to send XRays to my new dentist even after being reported to local dental association, but every time I went in, they seemed to do deliberate damage to teeth at whatever rate my insurance would cover it. Example: "We have to replace this crown because a hole was drilled in it for a root canal." Then later for a different molar, I overheard, "That crown's too new, insurance won't cover it and they said, we can just fill the hole from the root canal and it will be fine. Obviously, ONE of those was untrue. A tiny cavity on another tooth, she seemed to finish drilling with a sigh, the reached over my head to switch head on the drill, then poked straight in and leaned her weight on it until it broke through to the root. At one checkup, another dentist there said, "There's a soft spot on this tooth that MIGHT become a cavity someday, so we should fill it now." Thieves, more interested in profit than health or longevity of patient's teeth. Buyer BEWARE!!!

Negative experience: Changing my 5-star review to 1-star because Dr. Bennett no longer does the basic dental care and Drs McShane and McAninley do not do the same excellent work that Dr Bennett did. These two dentists put crowns in my mouth and all of them either hurt, or are the wrong color, or need additional extensive work. I no longer trust getting my dental work at this office. If you do go here, make sure you get a second opinion somewhere else before you get any work done.

Negative experience: My first experience about 2 years ago as great went in for a consultation on getting a crooked tooth fixed well I saved the money for it so I booked a cleaning and exam then was going to start the cosmetic procedure well I go in for a 10:00 appointment for exam and cleaning and 2nd consultation for the procedure I didn't leave there till about noon ask they did was the exam and recommended a new laser cleaning they said insurance must likely will not pay for it OK they'd not there fault so I ask what about the regular cleaning they said oh well the Dr recommended the surgical cleaning not a regular insurance will not pay for pay for regular cleaning since the Dr didn't recommend that type of cleaning well I went to check out and had to wait again so I just started leaving them they said wait a minute sir by the way you have a balance of $180 I was like what i thought insurance covered the exam and cleaning 100% they said no sorry they only cover 70% well come to find out they only cover 70% for it off network OK understandable but they did not mention to me they are out of network but verified my insurance multiple times pretty frustrating after sitting there for 2 hours for a 20 minute exam glad they didn't do the cleaning would have owed more looks like I'll be taking my cosmetic procedure elsewhere they were just worried about getting there money

Positive experience: I’ve been a patient here for about 8 years and it is time to part ways. My dental hygienist has been fantastic and deserves a raise (hence 3-stars). Now with that out of the way here’s why I’ll no longer be making the drive. I had a filling they fixed last year come loose this week and I scheduled an 8:30 appointment to get it fixed. Unfortunately Colorado weather has a tendency to cause problems so I managed to I showed up 13 minutes late after a 50 minute drive in the snow and I was told they just called me to reschedule (they didn’t). I had called as soon as I knew I’d be late and the office would be open but didn’t get anyone on the phone. They took me back anyways, did an x-ray, and said they were just too busy to do anything at all about it. So they’d send me an estimate and reschedule. I was surprised they didn’t offer to warranty the work at a minimum or even a “man that sucks here’s our apologies”. I’ve been making the drive because they always did good work but it seems they’re a just out of touch these days - felt like a spoke in the wheel. I decided to give my wife’s dentist a shot and I was in and out in 45 minutes including new patient paperwork, a fixed filling, and a nice personal conversation with the dentist. EDIT: I see the reply. Not sure what “we won't correct you publicly” entails. If that wasn’t it then I’m glad you’re choosing not to post patient details in response to a (still 3-star) somewhat negative review. We can agree to disagree on the timing, but the whole reply just comes off as vindictive, smug, and tone deaf. Could have just given me a phone call and frankly I probably would have even rescinded this review.

Negative experience: Just a warning before you go to Arvada dental they constantly canceled your appointments. Sometimes even on the same day of your Appointment First, they did well but last appointment for a cleaning they seem to rush me through there. Think I’ll find another dentist.

Fantastic experience: So far I have only been for my initial patient appointment. No cleaning or any work done yet. However, I am very pleased with Arvada Dental Center. I felt very welcomed here. The staff was all very friendly and not judgemental. I really don't like the dentist. I feel like many dental offices are very judgey and make you feel bad about your dental care practices at home. It's also just awkward to have someone digging in your mouth. I felt very comfortable in this environment. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Everybody in this building is amazing!!! I showed up on a wrong appointment date and the front Desk accommodated me the Dr was amazing. They all made me feel welcomed from the person doing the 3D scan to the X-ray and down to the dental hygienist. They really are out here restoring people's smiles. I appreciate the welcome energy and feeling like Family in this office. Save yourself the headache going anywhere else! Arvada Dental Center sets the bar very high!!!

Fantastic experience: Ever since going to Arvada Dental Center my first time I haven't even considered switching dentists despite having dentists closer to my home. Once they broke out the laser treatment to help zap bacteria after my cleaning I was sold that this would be my go-to spot. They've got all the technology you need and can practically take care of anything. Oh, and did I mention that my hygienist Shanna is a gem of a human being and makes the unpleasant thought of going to the dentist so much better. (Seriously, who likes to go to the dentist. It's nice afterwards but the process of the clean is always a displeasing thought.) Shoutout to Shanna for being a GOAT she's always so nice and gentle with my sensitive gums! For a guy that's struggled with unhealthy gums (Google now about to spam me with gum treatments), she put me on the right track and now my gums are healthier than ever! The only kicker with this center is if you miss your appt. and you have to be put on the waitlist it can be a full year until you get back in. Just make sure to go to your appointments even if it means missing your kid's birthday party!!

Fantastic experience: Operations Director Justine is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and exceedingly kind. The CT scan technician does an excellent job. Dr. Bennett is good-natured and it is easy to communicate with him. Great staff and modern office!

They always let you know exactly how much a procedure is going to be prior to starting it. I really appreciate this as there are never surprises. I would highly recommend Arvada Dental Center!

Fantastic experience: Each staff member was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was kept informed throughout the entire appointment and the building is comfortable and clean. The front waiting room was a bit crowded when checking out with the front desk.

Pricing was also very competitive and I walked away feeling like I have a real doable solution to the mess of a mouth that I've been living with for so many years!!!

Fantastic experience: I really like the people at Arvada Dental Center. Dr. Bennett is nice, professional, and talented. No one makes me feel guilty about not flossing enough, which is something we could all do better at. The hygeinists are great, all friendly and kind. I appreciate the updated technology and their new facility. This is the third location through the years that I have been Dr. Bennett's patient at. No showing me a miniscule spec on an X-ray the size of an ipod mini and telling me I need to get cavities filled. We talk through treatment plans and work together to take care of my teeth. thank you!

Fantastic experience: My first visit and I was extremely impressed. The staff is organized, friendly and efficient. They clearly value their patients time. My initial consultation was comprehensive and covered all my questions and concerns. A clear plan was put together, including personal input from Dr. Bennett. Pricing was fully transparent, no hidden surprises expected. State of the art equipment throughout, and everything can be completed in house in a timely fashion. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Every person I've encountered at Arvada Dental Center & Implants has been incredible. Eric helped me through every single question I had about my procedure, and Candice and Jonathan are always so kind and helpful. Dr. Bennett and Dr. McAninley make sure I've felt comfortable and heard with any dental fears I've had. I'm so thankful I've found this dental office to help me get over my dental fears. There's a reason so many people trust them with their dental care- they are the best!

Negative experience: The Arvada Dental Center used to provide great service. I then had two crowns put in at the new Arvada Dental Center & Implants location by Dr. McAninley and experienced pain for 6 weeks. I have had crowns put in before and never had this many problems. The staff was nice and tried a few things to alleviate it but I still have sensitivity related to the crowns months later. I was also charged more than my dental plan allowed and they told me they dropped it so I was charged more. It would have been nice if they informed me of the change. I'm leaving now to find a better dental provider.

Negative experience: If you are looking for quality, efficient and affordable dental care I would not recommend this place. They charged me without my consent, misquoted me, and I had to go into the office 5 times just to get a top and bottom retainer. I’m sure their dentists are great, however, the treatment I received from their management team is why I’m giving one star. I went to Arvada Dental Care to get a top and bottom retainer. Here was my experience: - They told me the original quote was for the top and bottoms retainers - I went to pick them up, and only the top was there. They said the bottom retainer was on its way (by the events below, I know this was not true) - I got an extra charge on my credit card that I did not authorize - I asked why I was charged, they said the original quote did not include the bottom retainer (even though I asked multiple times before paying the first time). I had to call multiple times for months to get this answer. They kept saying “we’ll call you right back” and didn’t - They confessed that someone on their team messed up and never placed an order for the bottom retainer, which is why they charged me, even though I never agreed to that price - By the time we were finished with this back and forth, I went in and the bottom retainer did not fit me - I got resized, took an hour off of work, drove an hour round trip, and went to pick up my bottom retainer. They ordered a top retainer by mistake, so I will have to go back again for them to order a bottom retainer and take off work again. - They wouldn’t let me keep the top retainer made for my mouth and didn’t say why. Again, they said “they’d call me back” and didn’t I understand that mistakes happen, but this many mistakes for a small top and bottom retainer is crazy. Plus, overcharging me, charging my card without my consent and not making it right is unethical in my opinion. They said they’ve learned from this and implemented new training, but they didn’t reimburse me after charging my credit card without my consent.

Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience, the scheduling was easy got me in for a consultation, spoke with Eric, he was very helpful and informative, did a thorough exam, explained the procedure, answered all questions. Couple of things I would of liked, one, to have a doctor come and explain the work to be done, I understand he was out of town and could not be helped and second allow you to decline service, I understand it is for the betterment of the patient, however I do not believe I would of enjoyed or needed the service.

Fantastic experience: I called because I was having tooth pain and was able to get an appointment the next day. Josh who assisted Dr. McAninley was very personable as was Dr. McAninley . They were able to diagnose my problem very quickly and refer me to the appropriate specialist for treatment.
