Fantastic experience: I love this dental office. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. They scheduled me quickly and Dr. Giron left a welcome message on my voicemail. Dr. Giron explained issues with my teeth after I had wires cut out of my mouth from a broken jaw and noted one problem with a tooth after an x-ray. He provided referrals for an endodontist and an orthodontist. I highly recommend Vida Dental Studio. Update: I thought I had posted the above last year. I just had a cleaning and my yearly x-rays last week. I am still very happy that I am a patient of Dr. Giron. I am very pleased with his referrals. The orthodontist and endodontist and their assistants are super friendly and know why they are doing.

Where there lush advertisements might seem to promise some 'out of the box' possibilities for dentistry, it seemed mostly fairly straightforward-- no magic or surprises. And imo more on the high-end price-wise. But overall a pleasant experience, other than the eye-opening costs outlined on the treatment plan!

Fantastic experience: I broke a front tooth. I just moved here from Los Angeles so I had not chosen a local dentist as yet. I have had enormous dental problems since childhood. I have many implants and I have had loss of bone due to Boniva/Fosamax. So replacing this tooth was no simple matter. The office staff was lovely and made me feel very comfortable. I had filled in the pre-check-in questionnaire and when I arrived it was obvious the dentist has read and absorbed the ramifications of all these issues. He came up with a plan that made sense. The work was virtually painless, he and his assistant were extremely responsive to any sign of discomfort. The entire experience was easy (no small compliment from someone who has been traumatized by dentists over the years). I have confidence in the expertise of the doctor and I am extremely relieved to know I have a place in Santa Fe where my inevitably complicated dental problems can be addressed with great competence and kindness!

I now get what the "Total Health Dentistry" experience is: the clinical team's collaboration is tangible in every interaction with their clients. The technology used to diagnose and treat you instills confidence and does not interfere with the human touch that is behind all of the advanced treatments that are available. I was with my prior dental team in another city for 33+ years... and honestly, Vida shines brightly.

Fantastic experience: I arrived early for my appointment and was taken in right away. Office staff was friendly and efficient. Jessica, my hygienist was very friendly and explained what to expect during my appointment. She was very gentle during the cleaning and I had no pain afterwards. I had to wait a bit to see Dr. Giron, but Jessica checked in with me to be sure I was comfortable and did not need anything. Dr Giron was friendly and professional and confirmed my suspicion that the dentist I had seen previously was unnecessarily recommending that a crown be replaced. I was very happy after this visit.

Fantastic experience: Before I became a patient at Vida dental studio I was terrified of dentists! PTSD off the charts and blood pressure spiking. After several years of being a Vida patient I’m laughing and joking around in the dentist chair. The whole staff feels like family friends. I actually love going to the dentist now!

Fantastic experience: Staff are all very polite. Docs are approachable, informative. Regular cleaning, efficient, pleasant. Loyalty program fits my needs, and seems cost effective.No aggressive upselling. They can take care of any emergency, not always available elsewhere, even if they say it is. As well, appointments are timely- big plus!!

Fantastic experience: I was panicking that a root canal done in Albuquerque did not work and was still in pain after a week.It was possible that I needed to have the tooth pulled and another implant. I called to get an appointment with Dr Pisotti, my previous dentist that moved to Vida. He is the only dentist that I trust and I traveled over an hour to see him in Santa Fe. The staff was great and got me in quickly. Dr. Pisotti was so compassionate and gave me my options. I left much calmer and assured that I was in good hands. It was worth the drive and I was less stressed that if I need another implant I know where to go. I highly recommended this practice.

I get really anxious when I am at the dentist, but he made sure through out the process that I was ok and reminded me if I needed a little time during the process to let him know. I have always felt as if other dentists would just rush through procedures, so having this treatment made me never want to go to another dentist! Negative experience: Dr. Giron belittled me while I was in the chair. He asked my age, reminded me of it, and told me I should have taken care of my teeth a long time ago. His comments were unprofessional and dismissive, especially coming from someone who has never walked in my shoes or understood my circumstances. I also noticed that they respond defensively to negative reviews instead of taking feedback constructively, which speaks volumes about how they view their patients and their concerns.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Giron. I had been told by another dentist that I urgently needed a crown on a chipped tooth. Because they told me the need was urgent, they said I must cancel the one week trip I had planned to do the procedure as soon as possible. But. because Dr Giron has ability to do "same day" crowns and they did not, I decided to go to Dr. Giron instead. When I saw Dr. Giron this morning he did not see any urgent need. He gave me two options. Get the crown, or do nothing, and only have a crown placed later, if necessary (if more tooth broke off in the future.). I was thrilled. HIs manner is lovely, same for his receptionists. I very very highly recommend him and their whole office!

Fantastic experience: Had an absolutely brilliant experience at Vida. Lost a crown and discovered the tooth was no longer viable to have it refitted. But the same day they were able to fit me in with Devin Giron to have an extraction, bone graft and implant fitted all in one go. Dr Giron is an absolute master craftsman and despite some very challenging curly roots managed to remove my tooth with minimal bone damage and successfully fit the implant. It blew my mind that they were able to accommodate me on the same day, which was a huge big deal for me as it is a 4 hour round trip to get to Santa Fe and back for me. Dr Giron was calm and friendly and really took care and time to make sure I wasn’t in any discomfort. The other staff at the practice were also incredibly friendly and thoughtful and professional. As other reviews mention, Vida is maybe a little more expensive than other dental practices, but they have state of the art equipment and top class practitioners. When it comes to dental work, in my experience, you get what you pay for, and Vida is worth the extra $$.

Fantastic experience: Called the receptionist at 10:00am, as I was experiencing a lot of dental pain. Cindy was very friendly, attentive, welcoming, and informative; that is initially why I choose to schedule with them. This is very important to me when choosing an establishment to have any type of treatments/procedures at. They got me in right at my scheduled time of 11:00am and the dental assistants who did my X-rays were also very attentive and thorough. The dentist was able to promptly see me and assess my needs. I ended up needing a wisdom tooth extraction. He was willing and able to treat me same-day. The process went well, and he was very communicative, personable, understanding, and took care of the procedure efficiently. I will definitely return for future cleanings and routine dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I thought the hygienist,Joey, was great and thorough. Dr.Pisotti explained what I needed to have done and why. I also needed an “emergency” root canal and was squeezed in right away with an endodontist that Dr.Giron recommended. I think that Dr. Giron takes the time to listen to your needs.

You will not regret coming here and you will never go to another dentist if you go through this place. And for all of the staff at Vida dental keep being awesome! Fantastic experience: Been a patient for almost 6 years now, and feel like I’m listened to and well taken care of. I’m a periodontal patient so cleanings are 3 times a year instead of 2, were 4 when I started, so have seen improvement in my dental health and am very pleased. Doctor and staff are great, know their stuff and keep up with dental advancements in both treatment processes and equipment.

Fantastic experience: I’m from Dallas. I had an emergency where a temp crown came out and I’m 700 miles from home. I needed help and they got me in within the hour after I called. Everyone is super friendly from the ladies at the front desk to the dental tech who re-bonded my crown. Highly recommend Vida Dental Studio.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience. The receptionist sends you on a hunt to multiple buildings just to check in. They take forever before the even acknowledge you. Then when the hygienist, Joey, finally took me back she gave the worst cleaning I've ever had. She was about as gentle as a lumberjack as she poked and scrapped my teeth till they bled. All while trying to spread misinformation and fear mongering that "I would get brain cancer" if I didn't get a get cleaning from them. After that actual nightmare finally ended she escorted me to the front desk, without ever speaking to the actual dentist, to schedule the deep cleaning I had never agreed to. Horrible customer service and will be taking my business elsewhere!

Fantastic experience: I was going to another dentist office in town but after they changed their staff three times in three years I was pushed to the back of their queue, they wanted to schedule me a year out. That was when I found Vida Dental, they were able to get me in quickly and address the multiple tooth issues that I had. Dr. Giron is incredibly helpful working with me to get all of my problems repaired. Noticing the type of wear on my teeth he even suggested I get tested for sleep apnea. After following up it turns out I have severe sleep apnea that is very concerning to my primary care doctor. I highly recommend Vida Dental Studio.

Dr Giron and his wife came in on a Saturday to attend to my emergency. They were incredibly kind, professional, and efficient, which was such a relief. Dr. Giron took the time to explain my options and recommended LANAP for my gum concerns—something I hadn’t heard of before, but it turned out to be a minimally invasive and effective treatment. I’m so grateful for their expertise and the genuine care I received. If you’re in the Santa Fe area and dealing with a dental emergency or just need exceptional care, Vida Dental Studio is the place to go!

Dr. Giron and Dr Detrik and thier staff made us feel like we had been patients at thier practice for years. We immediately felt comfortable and cared for. They are concerned, caring and informative. Negative experience: serial spammer sending unsolicited junk mail cleverly addressed "to our neighbor at" at our home address which prevents one to stop this annoying nuisance.

Negative experience: I received several flyers throughout a year advertising a free $150.00 consultation. I called to schedule an appointment and also informed them that I had been receiving the flyers and also scheduled a teeth cleaning. I was given several X-rays and a teeth cleaning. They gave me a print out of the cost of the implants. The receptionist asked me if I wanted to sign up with a financing company "Cherry". I was charged $400.00 for the X-rays and the teeth cleaning which made me sick to my stomach. I asked them to look into checking my Medicare and health insurance to find out the coverage amount. I called my health insurance plan to ask them about my dental coverage. They informed me that the most they should've charged me was $20.00 for X-rays and cleaning. I was so upset and disappointed that I had to go through this experience. Price gouging in this country is beyond me.

Fantastic experience: I’d like to extend my appreciation to the office staff and Dr Gregory Pisotti for taking care of me answering an urgent matter with my tooth. I am not local to this office, I was on vacation in the area when the dental emergency happened with me. I called few dental offices in the area and didn’t have any luck until I called VIDA Dental Studio. A very nice receptionist Delilah answered the call and scheduled me for the next day with Dr Pisotti. I felt really welcomed and cared for even before coming to my appointment next day. When I came to see the doctor, I was feeling even more cared for, he fixed all the issues. I’m really grateful! Thank you

Fantastic experience: I got exactly what I needed, when I needed it and the staff were all really nice. What I needed was a crown and Dr. Pisotti did a great job. He was also kind and concerned for my comfort the entire time. I have seen others have bleeding gums and significant pain after the prep for a crown and I had none of those things. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment today at VIDA dental. They were timely, professional and most importantly did a great job repairing my implant. I just moved to Santa Fe from New York, and had been dreading finding a new dentist. I was referred to Vida by a friend that also recently moved to Santa Fe and is a new client there. I feel fortunate to have landed there as well.

Negative experience: Beware. Dr. Giron quoted me over $7,000 for dental work he claimed I needed done. I drove to Farmington to my lifelong trusted dentist for a second opinion and they said I did not need ANY work done. Get a second opinion!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Giron office is the best. When I was practicing I would refer patients to Dr Giron and every single patient reported Dr Giron and his staff were wonderful. When my dentist retired I started seeing Dr Giron 3 years ago. I am more impressed now that before. He and his team are exceptional.

Fantastic experience: I was so grateful that my daughter’s dentist agreed to see me after breaking a partial of my front teeth. Aiyesha was fast, proficient and so confident as she worked her skills to create teeth. I was finished in less than an hour with a beautiful and brilliant smile.

Fantastic experience: I’m a current patient at VIDA but today’s visit was for my mom. She is visiting from out of town and last night she broke her “partial” when eating a piece of hard food. I immediately called VIDA and the after hours answering service was a real person! who was so helpful and kind. She advised me to call in the morning at 7:30am and see if they could see my mom for an emergency appt. And she relayed my mom’s situation to the VIDA staff, so when I called this morning and spoke to Cindy, she was already aware of the emergency. And Cindy got my mom in this morning! for an appt. We were there at 11am and my mom’s partial was fixed by noon! The dental hygienist who worked on my mom was Aisha and my mom said she was lovely and did an excellent job! And so fast! I spoke with Cindy while I waited for my mom and have to share that Cindy is so kind, friendly, knowledgeable and personable. While I am not at all surprised by the level of care that both my mom and I received (and I always do at each visit) I just cannot begin to thank VIDA enough. They went above and beyond to help my mom be able to enjoy the rest of her vacation here, to eat easily and to feel confident smiling again! I love having VIDA as my dentist. They are the most professional and thoughtful dentist office I have ever encountered. Thank you so much for today and always.

They took care of me in one visit, Instead of trying to reschedule me for many visits, which I have often thought were not needed at other facilities. I greatly appreciate Vida dental. Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about this dental practice. I moved to Santa Fe 3 years ago and am so grateful to have finally found a great dentist. For three years I was subjected to a dentist who ‘took my insurance.’ During that time I had 3 emergencies— broken tooth and broken crown (that they made), and excruciating pain. Three times I was told that they did not treat emergencies. I knew that the dentist that I was assigned was not competent and they refused to let me change to another dentist in the practice (there are at least 5 others). I was referred to Vida by a friend when I had a terrible toothache and was once again told that ‘my dentist’ could not see me for three weeks. When I called Vida, they asked me when can you get here? I was seen within the hour. Dr. Giron was kind and caring—but most importantly, he had me out of pain within a few minutes. What a difference! This is a real dental office! They have the latest equipment and they are very knowledgeable and current on new techniques. They treat you like a valued human being. Every one is warm, friendly, and caring. As a former dental hygienist, I can tell you that you pay more than twice for poor dental care. If you have only been to one of those corporate dental offices with revolving dentists and assembly line care, you might be lucky and get adequate care, but I doubt it. Dr. Detrik is so very kind, thorough, and explains everything in detail so you understand all your treatments and procedures. And staff and assistants are wonderful. Joey and Angelica are the best. I cannot say enough good things about this practice who ALSO OFFERS a new way to regenerate bone loss with the use of a laser. It’s shown amazing results and is much easier and better for you then removal and implants.
