He knew I had recently had a total knee replacement and ordered an antibiotic in time for me to take it prior to my emergency appointment. He took X-rays and took care of my tooth. Super sweet, consistently checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable and had no questions, and we chatted about our daughters ❤️ the dentist himself spends about five seconds with me at the end of the appointment and is a bit short but honestly I’m an introvert and it’s kind of a perfect balance of sweet hygienist and straight to the point dentist. Will continue using them for all dental things!

Fantastic experience: Great care from Coastal Smiles on C.B. road. As a 100% VA disabled vet, my dental care is handled througj community care since the Wilington VA has few dental care openings. Coastal Smiles secured approval from the VA for three crowns that were/are badly needed and reached out to me upon approval.

Positive experience: Satisfactory service. When the Tech was polishing, he rest the water on me after rinsing and the water went down my shirt twice. I never received my fluoride at the completion of flossing. Not a good visit.

Negative experience: The guy that was working in the office it brought the stuff for the dentist to pull my wife's tooth he didn't wear gloves and he was handling the stuff without wearing gloves then the dentist come in he did not num my wife's mouth before sticking the needle in her mouth and it was real painful but far as the staff they were just as nice as they can be the doctor was nice but she will not be back no more

Fantastic experience: Being from out of state and coming down with a dental emergency requiring tooth extraction…I’m beyond thankful for this place and Dr. Le. Within 30 minutes of stepping in the building as a new patient, I received my X-ray on the tooth in question and promptly had it extracted all in the same day. I’m super grateful for the expedited nature of the operation so that my pain can now be nonexistent. Thanks again

Fantastic experience: Dr. Le seems to know his stuff and is on top of the latest procedures. I trust him completely, so much so, that I am going to let him pull a tooth and do a dental implant, maybe 2. I feel confident in his skill and knowledge. He takes the time to explain everything to you. Dr. Le does not rush. He really cares about your oral health.

Negative experience: Just had a tooth removed for the second time by Collin..the first time was super infected. He pulled it and it left a nasty scar in my gum..i also still had flashbacks from how scary it was...2 years later..I'm getting a tooth removed in the back (molar) and I remembered my last experience so I'm naturally scared, freaking out because the pain was so bad after..well mid procedure I'm literally in tears because I'm already freaked out about what's to come..and then he goes to pull the tooth and it was not numb enough..he gives me another shot and instantly goes to pull the tooth and I'm literally yelling because it hurts so bad and he tells me "I can't work on you if you keep yelling. The other patients are going to think I'm torturing someone" !!!!!! I should not have apologized mid procedure, because of my reaction. He's too concerned about his other patients rather than the one infront of him. And on top of that I heard other dental assistants talking about me. So unprofessional I don't care what any of them thought in there, I obviously was having a hard time and nobody helped the situation. I'm finding a new dentist.

Negative experience: Dental assistant was coughing with hands while wearing mask and gloves on while providing dental services inside my mouth which was very unsanitary and made my experience very uncomfortable.

For all those years, it was without a cavity with all my natural teeth, too. :) I try to go to his office twice yearly. At my age, I do have ample comparisons to say he is the best dentist. He has made trays for teeth whitening that work wonderfully; don't waste money on over the counter strips. Let Dr. Lee make trays for you that whiten evenly and are more cost effective in a short time. I am a health care professional, and I did not know him personally, just as my dentist. I like being treated by the best, when it comes to medical providers, and I tell patients, "Go to the best you can find." I follow my own advice; I go to the best I can find. Fantastic experience: Update: I’m staying I did my research and I was wrong … Some insurance only pay to have half your mouth deep clean at a time… And the staff are kind and very professional…. So disregard the everything below… I will be switching dentist soon as possible Due to my health insurance… I was told by this office my co pay to have a deep cleaning to clean my teeth left side then right side after…on two different days, which I never heard of before all the days of my life… I came in to get the cleaning for the left side I was told the price went down from 117.00 to 77.00… so to have my right side done which will be next month is 77.00 as well…I’m not even going to go into the rest because…I will looking into other dentists….

Fantastic experience: 3/07/22 Dr Lee needed to put a post into my gum that had beed filled with cadaver bone 4 months ago. I lived quite far away. He was able To do this within 3 hours to include making the cap and putting it permanently in place. He explained what he was doing. Gave me alternatives. He is so knowledgeable and the work was fantastic. I can not recommend him enough. Dr Lee is my first choice. I drive 9 hours because i have faith in him and know he is honest.

Facility is a Dental Office that serve Veterans with Referrals, I was told by VA Office, that your office should have ensured that I send to their office for Referrals instead of charging me over 700.00 for a service that I could have gotten for Free. please in the future encourage Veterans to get a Referral or have some types of discount for Veteran! Dr was awesome no complaint, just lost 700 for something that I could have gotten free!

Fantastic experience: My experience at Coastal Smiles was excellent! The greeting at the front door was bright and welcoming. A short wait in the lovely waiting area was cheerful and pleasant. The hygienist was polite, responsive, and gentle and the encounter with the doctor was unhurried, thorough, friendly and painless. Throughout the process, I felt relaxed and respected, and there was no rush or “sticker shock” when I selected my new reading glasses. They processed my insurance while I waited, and we were able to stay within my budget. I highly recommend this team.
