Negative experience: *HORRIBLE SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: I called to confirm appointment dates for my children, but after speaking with the manager, Caroline, she initially claimed there was no appointment. Eight minutes later, she found the appointment in their system and stated that it had already passed. We proceeded to schedule a new appointment for a later date. I then asked the office manager to send me a confirmation, as I had never received one before. I also confirmed that my information was on file, which she acknowledged. However, ten minutes later, she said she would be updating my information—which was confusing since she had just confirmed it was correct. After this, I asked again if she could send me an email confirmation for the newly scheduled appointment. She simply stated that it was in their system. I let her know that I didn’t feel comfortable relying on that alone because I had been told the same thing previously and never received any confirmation. At that point, she hung up and instructed all of her office assistants—including Kate and others working on April 30 around 3:50 PM—to hang up on me as well. I called back from a different number to try to understand what was going on. Caroline picked up, immediately asked if I was the patient’s name—referring to my children—before confirming who I was, and then hung up again when I questioned why she was saying their name over the phone without verifying my identity first. I didn’t feel comfortable with that either. At that point, I asked them to remove my information from their system, as my children would no longer be going there. They continued to hang up on me and act completely unprofessional. Overall, I would NEVER recommend this place. They schedule appointments months in advance yet have no proper system to manage them. This was an awful experience, and I will never return. I AM ALSO ADVISING EVERYONE ELSE THIS COMPANY SHARES YOUR CHILDRENS INFORMATION RANDOMLY WITHOUT CONSENT TO ANYONE THAT MAY CALL. They Even stated they were going to fax it to a Dentist I never confirmed or even heard of . VRY UNPROFESSIONAL CAROLINE SHAME ON YOU !!

Fantastic experience: Both my daughters go here and love it.. My youngest had a pretty bad mouth injury from a trampoline when she was 3 and Dr. Wes helped me stay calm, was supportive, and helpful to us every step of the way!! He's the best!!

Negative experience: I wouldn't recommend this dentist office to anyone. My son was seen on May 1, 2023. And was referred to have surgery. They have a scheduling fee on 60 dollar that I paid before I left their office. They said they would call with the date of the surgery. In October I called them because my son had gotten an abscess on his tooth. They was supposed to schedule him then as well here it is February 13th and you want to call.My son and I went to another dentist for him to get treated and they refused to refund me my 60 dollars. When they haven't done absolutely nothing for him.

Fantastic experience: Very kid friendly and timely. I got all of the kids in at the same time. My 1 year old was able to watch tv while getting her teeth cleaned then didn’t want to leave. Office staff was nice and made all the kids balloons when finished! I was nervous about finding new providers since we just moved here from Indiana. But we have had 2 visits so far and each visit I was pleased with services!

Negative experience: This visit, according to my daughter, was more painful than any before for a simple cleaning...she said it was an older lady possibly digging for gold or oil in her gums lol smh

Fantastic experience: The over all place was kid friendly, staff was nice and very helpful. My daughter was nervous/afraid, they talked her thought what they're doing, allowed her to watch tv. While she was being worked on to help ease away a little tension that she was having I loved it.

Fantastic experience: Never have to wait more than 10 minutes to be call to the back in and out very quick. They are very polite, gentle, and a very clean establishment.

Fantastic experience: My 10yo son has EXTREME dental anxiety. He has seen other providers who “told it to him straight” and rushed him thru the system. When you tell a child at their first dental visit ever they have 6 cavities, need 2 teeth pulled and a palate expander installed, that’s traumatizing. It’s worse when you then look the mother in the eye and say, “dental anxiety in children is projected on them by their parents.” (We retried at same place 6 months later, but it was the same story, one less cavity, zero compassion, and no respect to the child.) With Dr Wes Hollowell and his team it was completely different! The hygienist told my son everything she would do before she did it. Even that she was going to raise the chair and then recline it. Such attention to anxiety detail and thus he remained calm and did GREAT! Also, they only found ONE cavity (with X-ray), no teeth needing pulled and referred to an orthodontist for cross bite and possible pallet needs. And on the one cavity, Dr Hollowell said, it’s a baby tooth that should come out soon, no need to fill it so long as he promises to brush and floss. “I wouldn’t fill that cavity on my 11yo, why would I do that to your child?” We are in love with the whole office!!! This clinic is at the top of their game, they don’t over procedure you just to make a buck, and I will tell everyone about their anxiety accommodation!!!

Fantastic experience: It’s a small office which I love a the entire we met today was welcoming an friendly, we got in an out quickly. I’m so glad I found them to take care of my kids dental needs!

Negative experience: I strategically searched for a dentist that had experience with children with Down Syndrome. I saw this doctor once, he basically said it was too early to visit the dentist although pediatricians recommend it. I was passed along to a female doctor that barely attempted to look at my daughter's teeth. After brushing us off a second time, I found a wonderful dentist at Capstone Pediatric Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: We love Dr. Wes and his staff. We've been coming here since my daughter was 18 months and she's now 17. Everything is always clean and organized, we never have to wait long to be seen. I highly recommend Dr. Wes to anyone with a child.

We are never there for too long which is always a plus for me. Soon she'll have to move on and we will surely miss Dr Hollowell and his team!

Fantastic experience: You simply just can't get any better than Dr.Hollowell and his staff. Hannah is 16 she first seen Dr.Hollowell at 3 she need a tooth removed while asleep he walked in with a elephant beanie baby she still has it on her bed. They will do everything they can for your child and if they can't he will get you to the ones that can.

Fantastic experience: My children have been coming here for over 10 years! Dr. Wes has watched my children grow as well as their teeth lol…but anyhoo we couldn’t have picked a better Dentist! His staff is by far the VERY VERY BEST “ they still give the big kids tokens too for toys” which I think is hilarious/cute by the way! But I can write a book on how caring the staff really is but you will still have to experience it in person than reading!! Be blessed….The Blended Family!! Fantastic experience: We took my son here today after already going to another dentist earlier who were very rude. My sons baby teeth were stuck above his adult teeth and causing him a lot of discomfort. The other dentist wanted to sedate him before pulling them out and to wait until the 24th. So we came here and oh my goodness, the experience was a complete 180 from the last dentist. I was actually allowed to go to the back with my son, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and Dr.Hollowell squeezed us in right before closing and pulled the teeth. My son was so happy they were gone, and I was very happy I was able to be with my son while it was going on. I will never take him to another dentist again.

Positive experience: The staff is amazing. They were actively engaging with him to calm his nerves before his dental rehabilitation surgery. They exhibited lots of compassion. The only thing I didn’t like was my child had an accident prior to the anesthesia and we were never advised to bring an additional set of clothes in case of these unforeseen circumstances.

Fantastic experience: My baby came in with with a fractured teeth; at 8:00 Dr.Hollowel numbed him and pulled the teeth gave gauze and put the tooth in a teeth case. We were gone at 8:32. The service we received was excellent and did I mention we didn’t have an appointment they squeezed him in. Which was great because he was playing and chipped his tooth over the weekend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Wes goes above and beyond to take care of his patients. My son chipped a permanent tooth after clinic hours. Not only did Dr. Wes return a call to us from his cell phone, he called in an antibiotic that day and fixed the tooth the next morning. My family is so appreciative of the high level of service provided by Dr. Wes and his staff. I would recommend this group to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Emma has been a patient at Tuscaloosa Pediatric Dentistry since her very first trip as a baby. The staff and Dr. Wes Hollowell made her feel so comfortable that she allowed them to do a great cleaning at such a young age. She is 12 now and continues to see them twice a year , what a wonderful staff .

Fantastic experience: My three yr old Austin had a bad experience at his last dentist. We decided to give this one a try and they done an outstanding job. The first visit they found the source of the problem. The last dentist kept just basically covering the problem and not getting to the root. Now my baby has perfect beautiful teeth bc of dr Howell. They’re super friendly and gives austin all of the attention when he gets seen. Austin loves it there.

Fantastic experience: The waiting room had alot more people than its ever had since we started coming here but we were in and out in less than 45 minutes. Denise is the sweetest and always makes my daughter feel comfortable. I remember coming to this building to the dentist as a kid, not sure if it's the same actual business though. I definitely recommend.

Positive experience: We saw Dr. Caroline Schopert and we were happy overall! She calmly worked with my child to keep him calm! This was his first dental procedure in the office he was put to sleep for his first! The only thing I had against it was I felt it was really rushed!
